Pr CS6 - How to export keyboard shortcuts ?

Hi all,
I would like to export my keyboard shortcut and windows layout from Première CS6 to another station...
The informations I've find out concerning Première doesn't work with CS6, any idea?

What does your package include besides this disc?
If your artistry and production are at a high-level and you are charging tens of thousands of dollars then protecting your reputation and future-sales possibilities by not giving them a disc might be wise, but if you just want to be done with things after you get paid, then a disc or flash-drive of native-resolution (not resized) and uncropped JPGs might give the most freedom for the client, although if I was your client, I’d want the RAWs or at least DNGs with your settings saved to them. If there is enough space on the media then you could put a folder of JPGs and a folder of TIFs, separately. It depends on how many you’re giving them. If you’re high-end you could give them an Wi-Fi iPad with the photos on it, or at least a non-Apple tablet with a removable flash-card for more easy offloading.

How to set Keyboard shortcuts for Flash Pro CS6?

I have started to use Flash Pro CS6, but my keyboard shortcuts such as F6 to insert a new Keyframe didn't work..I soon found that you could create your own Keyboard Shortcut list within the Flash application, and I am trying to enter F6 for a new Keyframe, but it only lets me enter one letter/number at a time and deletes the other one. I have made sure that F6 isn't in use. It now isn't, any help would be appreciated.

if no shortcut works, try resetting your flash pro preferences:
Hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) or Shift+Command+Option (Mac) when starting flash pro.

How to import keyboard shortcuts from CS6 to CC?

Every time there's a new version I go through this trying to figure out where the keyboard shortcuts file lives and every time it's hell. This time I've been searching and searching and I can't find a way to do. Why is this so hard? Should this thing happen automacally or at least there could be an option for "import keyboard shortcuts." I can't really use the new Illustrator without my shortcuts. I've looked in the preferences in the Library and in the Applications folders. Any ideas?

Thanks, but I looked there and there's only the default .kys file, not the custom one I saved. I saved the custom keyboards shortcut file but I can't find it anywhere. I think the last time I had to do this it was in Library/Preferences/Application Shortcuts/Adobe or something like that but it's not anywhere it seesm.

How to change keyboard shortcut for cycle through open tabs in PS and AI CC 2014

I would love to set my own keyboard shortcuts for cycling through open tabs in PS and AI 2014 on OS X. I found out that this can be achieved with ctrl+tab in PS, but I couldn't manage to make any of the suggestions in the forum work for AI. As said, I would like to set a more "standard" shortcut like alt+cmd+arrow-keys for both of the apps. If that shouldn't be possible, does anyone know a shortcut in AI CC 2014?

Thanks! The shortcut can be set like this in AI, although all key combinations I would want to use are not allowed. Too bad. But anyways, thank you very much for the tip!
cmd+~ is not an option for me, I guess, since the swiss/german keyboard layout has no dedicated tilde key.
So, I have a working shortcut in PS (ctrl+tab / of which I still don't know how to change, if possible at all) and thanks to you, I can now set one in AI as well. Unfortunately, I can not set it to be identical as in PS, since the "cmd" key needs to be included in AI's shortcut assignment dialogue, but I guess, this is as good as it gets.

CS6 will not save keyboard shortcut for dust & scratches filter

I am running Photoshop CS6 with all updates on a Windows 8 system. I have several keyboard shortcuts set up that all work fine but when I assign a keyboard shortcut for the dust & scratches filter it will work until I close Photoshop - when I then open Photoshop again this shortcut is gone but all my other shortcuts remain.
I have tried going back to the default keyboard shortcuts and then adding just the shortcut for dust & scratches (I have tried ctrl-F8 and several others) and then closing Photoshop and opening it again with the same results. I was able to add back all of my other shortcuts and they work fine.
For some reason I can assign a keyboard shortcut to anything except the dust & scratches filter.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

I had a chance to try the script on a windows 8 machine running photoshop cs6 13.01 in both photoshop cs6 versions 32 and 64 bit and shortcuts seem to stay between restarts.
If in photoshop cs6 you go to File>Scripts you can see that the script is actually listed?
When i saved the script out of ExtendScript Toolkit i named it Dust and Scatches.jsx.
Did you run ExtendScript Toolkit as an administrator before saving the script?
(right click on the ExtendScript Toolkit shortcut (tile) and choose Run as Administrator)
Saved to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Scripts
(cs6 32 bit)
and
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Scripts
(cs6 64 bit)
Another possibilty if you can't get the script to work is using an action (Filter>Dust and Scratches) and assigning a function key for the shortcut.

How to disable keyboard shortcut for Type-And-Transfer

Hi,
I'm trying to create a macro in Excel that I want to use the ctrl+shft+h keyboard shortcut. However, Lenovo's Type-and-Transfer tool has hijacked that shortcut so everytime I try to use the shortcut within Excel it launches the Type-and-Transfer tool. I've looked everywhere and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to disable this keyboard shortcut from launching the Type-and-Transfer tool. Anybody have any idea?

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lenovo
<sorry as I don't havea system with this shortcut type I cannot find the exact same key combination>
My second thought is going more in the direction of an application, that is called Keyboard Customizer
Try this one, if that will fit your request.

Fireworks CS6 Freezing On Loading Keyboard Shortcuts

For the past two days, whenever I try to start Adobe Fireworks CS6, the Splash menu freezes on "Initializing Keyboard Shortcuts". I have tried resetting the preferences and the program still freezes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, and am still not getting anywhere. Any suggestions or fixes for this matter?

I know this question is almost one year old, but it's on page one on Google, so maybe I can help someone.
For me it's a graphic tablet driver by Wacom that seems to interfere with Fireworks on startup while loading the keyboard shortcuts. After killing the driver's task in the task manager Fireworks starts up normally.

[SOLVED] How to add keyboard shortcuts in XFCE?

I'm giving XFCE a try lately after all of the changes I'm seeing, I'm trying to add a new shortcut to ease some tasks but I don't have a clue on how to do it.
I go to Settings -> Keyboard and there to "Application shortcuts". Then I select to add a new one and point to the script I want to run, but I don't have a clue on how to select the shortcut. I've tried pressing the keys I want to bind, but no way.

It is the next screen Pick the command, click OK. It then throws up a box telling you to press the key combination. It will show as you push meta, shift and control modifiers. When you hit a character that generates a keystroke, it saves it, along with the modifiers.

How to import keyboard shortcuts into Flash 8 Pro?

Recently i upgraded my computer to Windows XP, so backed
everything up, reformatted and reinstall. The usual.
One thing i use very often in Flash is my own custom keyboard
shortcuts, which i found handy that you can export them.... however
a huge problem i just came across when reinstalling everything and
getting back into using Flash... I CANT IMPORT KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS?!
I cant seem to find this option anywhere, which is incredibly
annoying as you would expect along with a "Export set as HTML"
option for exporting your keyboard shortcuts.... but an option to
simply import them is nowhere to be found! I cant even find a
folder that i can put the html file i created with my keyboard
shortcuts.... Tried putting it everywhere in the Flash 8
directories.... and still doesnt show up.
Hell, photoshop isnt this confusing, just drop the file in
the Presets/Keyboard Shortcuts folder, and you're done! I dont see
this anywhere for Flash... even in the Local Settings/Application
Data folder where it STORES the shortcuts in its own WFX format!
Too much of a pain remembering all the key configs i had
setup... only option is to change em as i go along i guess, but
there HAS to be an easier way to do this!
Any idea?
*Edit* Ok, now i just realized my mistake... having seen
where the shortcuts are saved, i didnt think of looking for them
there earlier... so i didnt back that up. Arg!

How to customize keyboard shortcuts (Swedish keyboard)

I don't know how dangerous this is, but I have just customized two keyboard shortcuts in LR2 for use with a Swedish keyboard.
I did not invent this, I was taught by someone else on this forum, I'm sorry I don't remember who.
What I did was create a file called TranslatedStrings.txt in the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2\Resources\en\
The content of this file is:

"$$$/AgDevelop/Menu/View/ZoomIn/Key=Cmd+."
"$$$/AgDevelop/Menu/View/ZoomInMinor=Slow Zoom In"

This makes Ctrl+. zoom in on pictures and Ctrl+Shift+. toggle between showing and hiding the library filter bar.
So far it seems to function. This copies the way LR is translated to French and German. But I would very much like some input from Adobe on what can be done without danger. Maybe also a list of all shortcuts so we could do this ourselves without compromising anything.

Minor correction:
I believe it should be:

The character "&" after "=" on line 1. But it seems to function like you wrote it too.
I tried changeing "&Before only" into "&Före enbart", which translated the menu into Swedish, but the letter ö looked strange.

How to do keyboard shortcuts to an external program?

Hi everyone,
i'm developing a program in labview that reads files created from an external program (an usb oscilloscope interface) and analyzes them.
That problems is that I need to start manually, before, the acquisition of data on the oscilloscope interface and than I have to start the labview program; that's not really elegant and efficient, so I whish to know if it's possibile to let my labview program open the oscilloscope interface and tell to it to start the acquisition.
Now, the exec subvi let me start the program, but I dont know how to start the acquisition.
With the oscilloscope interface as active window I can start the acquisition with the keyboard shortcuts ctrl-t ctr-g. Is it possible to let the program send to windows the request of execute those keyboard shortcuts on the active window?
The oscilloscope doesnt have any ActiveX interface.

You can use the VI posted in this reply to send keys. Note that this sends the keystrokes to the window that is active. This means you have to first activate the window. To do this you can use the Windows API utilities found here. Specifically, use "ShowWindow".

DW CS6 where to find keyboard shortcut to insert li tag?

Hi, before updating to the latest CS6 build (I think, certainly in DW5/5.5) I used to be able to define a keyboard shortcut to insert an li tag (and select that from the menu) - I used this all the time. I can not now see where I can define a shortcut to do this anymore (or a dt or dd for that matter). Either I am going blind, or it is a new bug. I hope it is the former and someone can tell me where it is. Thanks for any help!
NB: Update - I notice from here (http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/dreamweaver/using/changes-insert-options-creative-c loud.html#main-pars_text) that Creative Cloud CS has had Insert > Tag (and others removed) making it LESS functional to me than non-cloud CS6 and CS5.5. Who was the brain behind that decision? Is the idea to get people to buy both offline and cloud versions and so make even more money? I thought Creative Cloud was the "ultimate" offering?

As you've already noticed, the Text category has been removed from the Insert panel/bar and Insert menu. As a result, you can't assign a keyboard shortcut to <li>, <dt>, or <dd>.
However, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to <ol>, <ul>, and <dl>. They're in the List submenu of the Format menu. Once you have inserted a list, just pressing Enter/Return should create the <li> items. In the case of a definition list, pressing Enter/Return creates <dt> and <dd> elements alternately.

How add my keyboard shortcuts to Premiere Pro CC?

I have my own keyboard shortcuts. Every time a path to shortcuts was like this:
C:\Users\**myaccount***\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\6.0
But in CC version there is no. Where I have to paste my shortcuts to have it in Adobe Premiere Pro CC? A path is different?
I even try to search a .kys files and finally found in a different place like:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014\Keyboard Shortcuts\en_US
And past it that, but... it still doesn't work! So if that... what else I have to do to that simple think works!
I want shortcuts from Adobe Premiere CS 6 works on CC. Is that possible or CS6 shortcuts to CC version doesn't work anymore?

Why such shortcut like "CTRL+K" is meant "Add edit"? Shortcut CTRL+K makes "a cut". Why a name of it is so different like "add edit"?

If these plugins are ZXP files, you can install them with Exension Manager CC. If not, you have to copy them to the appropriate folder manually.
