PR Delivery Date MRP Forward/Backword planning

Does system ensures PR Delivery date is always working day ? Please see below examples
Backward planning:
Requirement Date: 03/05/2010 [Monday]
Suppose GR Processing time = 0, Planned delivery time = 1 Day, purchase processing time = 0
Now what would be PR Delivery date? by calculation it must be Saturday isn't it [03/052010 - 1 calender day]
Forward Scheduling
PR is created to day [28/04/2010]
Suppose Purchase processing time = 0, GR Processing time = 0, Planned delivery time = 3 Days
Now What would be PR Delivery date proposed by system? by calculation it must be Saturday isn't it [28/04/2010 + 3 calender days]
Please Suggest

Hi,
Forward Scheduling
PR is created to day 28/04/2010
Suppose Purchase processing time = 0, GR Processing time = 0, Planned delivery time = 3 Days
+Now What would be PR Delivery date proposed by system? by calculation it must be Saturday isn't it 28/04/2010 + 3 calender days+
System will ensure that PR delivery date will always be a working day
In the above case the delivery date will be 03/05/2010- monday, since 28/04/2010 + 3 calender days will be a saturday and considering saturday is a holiday , the delivery date will be 03/05/2010- Monday.

  • Reg Plan Delivery Date - MRP - Calender Days

    Hi
    This is what i understood
Plnd dely time - Calendar Days [which means including weekends]
GR Processing & Purchase Processing Days - Working Days
    Now, Suppose
    Requirement Date is 06-05-2010.
Plnd dely time - 5 days
    Gr Processing daye = 0
    Purchase Processing Days = 0
When MRP Run and Creates PR with a delivery date 06-05-2010 and PR Release Date = 01.05.2006 [06/05/2010 - 5days]
Which means buyer must convert this PR by 01.05.2006 which is Saturday, which is nonworking day.
There can be a chance that buyer might miss this instances. How do we face these issues
Since Plan delivery date is calendar dates which might push to release dates to weekends, Please suggest

    334,
You can alter any of the 3 durations to meet any of your unique business requirements.
Without knowing why the existing durations have been set the way they are, I can't really answer your question.  If it were me, and the client raised this as an issue, I would probably suggest to the client that he increase the Purchasing processing time to 1 day.
What you do, however, is up to you and the business requirements of your client.

  • Delivery date for forwarder and plant

    Hi Gurus,
I have got one issue, the description provided for me is "We have delivery date plant, and delivery date forwarder, but in case we use one lead time, should only delivery date plant showed in form." Could any body help me out in this regard.
Please reply me if you need any further information.
    warm regards
    Sridhar B

Yeah got ur point i was mapping the table configuaration for ur reference.
This grouping is supposed to make sure that all materials are delievered at the same Date (VBEP-EDATU) and must use the last date in the delivery group.
    say materials  X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
                         Y -- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
so the matnrs are avalaible in VBAP along with  for the VBELN and POSNR values now pick the delivery date for this material from VBEP   ,,
Now once the itab is sorted by delivery group  and EDATU descending .
so X and Y are present in for delivery group 001 say .
    X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
    Y-- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
after sort by date it will be
    Y-- DELIVERY DATE  27 12 2006
    X -- DELIVERY DATE  20 12 2006
which will pick up the latest date (or max date)
Tis was what i meant to say.
what is the incude you r using ?

  • Delivery date and transit time

    Hello,
we have such a problem that we want to model vendor delivery transportation time in Purchase order and also in MRP run.
That is, vendor confirms delivery date, but that date is that when goods are at vendor premises ready for delivery.
So there is several days delivery time in between until goods are really in our premises.
And our planner orders transportation from third-party and only then we know what is the real delivery date.
SAP's Planned delivery time contains both (making of goods by vendor and transport) and thus it not suitable for our purposes due the fact that vendor is not responsible for transportation.
Could you help and tell is it somehow possible to set transit time separately to purchase order? So that we have delivery date for vendor and another delivery date for transportation and that date is relevant for materials planning??
In that way we could plan our purchasing more accurately.
    Thank you in advance.
    -Juha

    Hi Juha,
Do you use Routes (Transaction 0VTC)?  If so - you can specify a 'Transit Duration' value on the Route.
Routes link 'Transporation Zones'.  So for example if your Third-Party Logistics provider belongs to 'Transportaion Zone' A and your ordering Plant belongs to 'Transportation Zone' B - then you can have a Route A <-> B with a Transit Duration Value maintained on it.
This may be a possibility given the specifics of your scenario.
    Hope this helps.

  • PR delivery date calculation for TAB orders

    Hi All,
    1) The PR which is created via TAB item in the sales order - the delivery date for such PRs is equal to the delivery date in the sales order. This is happening only for TAB orders without BOM explosion in the sales order.
2)In BOM exploded sales order - (meaning the parent item is entered in the sales order with item category TAP. ) -The sub components of this parent item is auto populate in the sales order. If any one of these sub components have item category TAB...then it creates a PR which has the delivery date equal to the "Planned delivery time" in the info record.
Can anybody please explain why the PR default delivery date is different in the two cases explained above. Both are TAB items...the only difference is one is a stand alone TAB item and the other is via BOM explosion.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ashok

    Hi Sasy
Delivery date calculation for MRP generated PR will follow the below settings
    1) Purchasing processing time in the Plant parameters in the customization and is calculated based on the Factory calendar days.
    2) Planned delivery time maintained in PIR and is calculated based on Normal calendar days
3)GR Processing time Maintained in Material master record, calculated based on Factory calender.
If you add up in the following sequence then you will get the exact delivery date.
Purchasing Processing time + Plnd delivery time + GR processing time.
Hope it will solve your  issue.
    Thanks / Karthik

  • Delivery Date in PR

    Hi,
When MRP is run, PR's are created and they give the delivery date by calculating the planned delivery date + GR Processing
    from the material master.
But the client wants all PR's delivery date of a week should be changed to that weeks "wednesday" as per the calendar date.
I took the MRP type - R1 - timephased plg, executed the forecast in the material master.
I went to MD26 tried creating Planning profile, tried almost all options of calculation rules, still no use.
Please advise, what calculation rule i have to take and also, any other setting which needs to be changed, for the requirement.
    Thanks
    Ganti

    Hi
To calculate the delivery date of the PR you have only below option.
    1) Purchasing processing Time - Factory calendar days
    2) Planned delivery time - Normal calendar days
    3) GR processing time - Factory calendar days
You have to make sure that Client always run the MRP on fixed date for example every Sunday.
So you have to adjust the above timings to get the desired delivery date baded on the fixed MRP date.

  • Delivery date in STO b/w sloc

    Hi All,
Need your help in understanding the delivery date prposed by SAP in ME21N for document type UB and stock transfer between sloc to sloc with delivery for a plant.
Current stock in MMBE in issuing sloc is 34
Also checked the stock requirement list and the requirement is 2 pc as of now.
    Data from config.
1 Shipping point- Pick pack time / load time --route dependent
    2. Pick pack time/load time is 0 in route
    3. Transportation lead time is 0
    4. Transit time is 1 day
    5. Planned delivery time is 3 days
    6. GR processing time is 1 day.
PO creation date is 5 april 2011
As per the concept I know the below calculation should happen to find out the delivery date.
Assumption: Commited date = material availability date
material avalibility date(5 april 2011 should come but i dont know how 6 april is coming) + transprotation lead time (0 day) + loading time (0)+ good issue(5 april)+ transit time(1 day) + Planned delivery time (3 days)
Delivery date should come as = 9 april but in system its coming as 8 april
some checking rule is also assigned to material in mrp3 view

    Hi,
The delivery date is the date on which we receive goods. The process of delivery date determination is in the moment you enter a material number and hit enter, SAP moves the current date into the delivery date, and depending on planned delivery time of material master it add those days to the current date. If the data entered is sufficient to determine already the info record, then it takes the planned delivery time from there into consideration. Thanking you.

  • Delivery Date in STO ( UB) & PO (NB)

Hi, I have a question, delivery date in STO (UB documnet type) or PO ( Doc type NB) what it refer? ( item-->delivery date)
I mean the date on which we are going to receive the goods or the date on which either vendor or supplying plant going to transafer or ship the goods?
Since we are able to create outbound delivery in STO using VL10b transaction only if the delivery date in PO is greater than or equal to VL10b delivery date.
Also let me know, how the delivery date will be determined in PO/STO automatically. when i enter the material , plant and qty automatically delivery date is getting determined?

  • Delivery date in Sales Order for Make to Order Scenario

    Hello,
We are creating Sales order for MTO ... In that our requirement is to get the delivery date based on Production planning and not from RLT. ie we have configured RLT as 36 days, system calculates delivery date as 36 days from the date of order what ever be the order quantity but considering our plant capacity  this is not possible. In our Production planning we allocate certain numbers per week. so when we give 100 nos order it plans as per the allocation if we see through MD73 it will give clear picture but in our sales order it shows delivery possible date as 36 days from date of PO. How to correct this.. it should calculate from the date of beginning of the production process.
Can any one help in finding solution for this

  • Fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n

    hi
need fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n
in me21n when i enter on to fast change screen i doesn't find statistical delivery date
can anyone tell me the process
    thanks

    Dear Anudeep,
You cannot change this via "Fast Change".
Please see the usage of this field.
Calculation of the delivery time is an element in the determination of a vendor's adherence to delivery dates (that is, the vendor's delivery timeliness, or on-time delivery performance) in MM Vendor Evaluation.
If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes. However, the statistics-relevant delivery
    date remains unchanged.
As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.

  • SLFDT - Statistics relevant delivery date

    Hi All,
Can you please let me know what exactly statistics relevant delivey date means?
    Thanks

    Hi
Statistics-Relevant Delivery Date is the Date for the calculation of the delivery time.
However, the statistics-relevant delivery date remains unchanged.
As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.
The system inserts the delivery date into this field in the following cases:
You do not enter a statistical delivery date.
You change the delivery date, have not entered a statistical delivery date, and the PO or scheduling agreement delivery schedule has not yet been transmitted to the vendor.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Statistics Relevant Delivery Date in ME38

    Hi Gurus,
i have a question regarding changing the delivery date in Tx ME38.
When I change the delivery date manually the statistic relevant delivery date is set to blank automatically.
The SAP Help says that the date should remain unchanged and thats what we want.
    SAP Help Text:
If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some
days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the
delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes.
However, the statistics-relevant delivery date remains unchanged.
As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens.
At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works
on the basis of the right date.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards
    Georg

    Hi Jürgen,
in the Include MM06EFET_ETT_FUELLEN there is following coding:
    IF NOT im_sd_scheduling IS INITIAL.
            PERFORM ett_sd_scheduling USING 'X' 'X' eket *eket
                                      CHANGING eketdata_sd.
    In the FORM ETT_SD_SCHEDULING
    there is the following coding:
Datum oder Uhrzeit geändert --> Versandterminierungsdaten zurücksetzen
      CLEAR c_eketdata_sd.
    Lieferdatum und Uhrzeit setzen
      c_eketdata_sd-eindt = i_eketn-eindt.
      c_eketdata_sd-uzeit = i_eketn-uzeit.
So the internal table c_eketdata_sd is cleared and only the delivery date and time are updated, but not the statistc relevant date.
It seems to me like standard behaviour of SAP.
    Best regards
    Georg

  • Requested Delivery Date (Warning Message Box)

    Hi Guru's
We are currently doing some testing in Sales Order creation and suddenly a dialogue box is appearing when we change the <b>Requested Delivery Date</b> and <b>First Date</b> fields to the current date.
    <b>The Message Reads</b> :
Planned delivery dates exist for the customer.
The requested delivery date is not a planned date.
    Select a requested delivery date.
    11.06.2007         Current Requested Delivery Date
    12.06.2007         Next Planned Delivery Date
Please can you advise how it would be possible to switch this message off.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
    Thks

    Hi Nikhil
Thnak you very much for your reply .
You are correct it is the delivery dates set on Master Data under the Additional DSD Data button that influences this message.
Do you perhaps know how to turn this warning message of.
    Thanks

  • Comitted delivery date in STO

    Hi Friends,
When there is no stock available the supplying plant, the comitted delivery date in ths Stock transport orderis showing as 31.12.9999 which is impossible to meet.
Do you have any clue on this abnormal behavior of the system?
    Thanks alot.

  • Planned order creation via MRP depends, If we change Delivery date in STO

    Hi,
Planned order  creation via MRP depends, If we change Delivery date in Stock transfer Order.
I created STO with delivery date as 31.1.2012 and when i checked MD04, i can see Planned order created on 27.2.2012 with the same above STO quantity .
Now when i changed the delivery date as 30.1.2012 and runned MD03, and then checkd MD04, planned order disappeared.
Why Planned order got created when STO delivery date was 31.1.2012 and when I changed the delivery date in PO, planned order disappeared.
    MRP profile details :
    Plnd delivery time   1
    GR processing time   1
    Planning time fence  38
    Tot. repl. lead time 38
Can you please let me know why system is beaving in this manner?
    Regards
    Utsav

    Hi,
Normally , MRP runs based upon the requirements. If your STO is created for a date , system checks through the availabiloty check wheather there exists any stock for that date to get deliverred in the supply plant .If there exists for that date the stock , planned order will not be created. If no stock available then a planned order will be created in MRP.
cHECK the availability check parameters assigned to material master in supply plant.
