PR header text copying to PO header text

Hi all,
We have implemented BADi  ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST to copy PR header text to PO header. The issue is it is not let us view the PR header text prior to saving the PO.
Also the same BADi is implemented in other instances, and it is allowing us to view the PR header text as soon as PR is copied in PO. Also there is a green tick mark available in Tcode ME21N in this instance, while the same is not available in the instance where we r getting this issue.
Plz help

Hi,
Probably this is the issue: (from IMG BadI documentation):
<<<>>>
Standard settings
In the standard system, the Business Add-In is not active.
The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
->>>>>>>  The BAdI cannot be used multiple times.     <<<<<<<<-
<<<>>>
Have you tried to use BadI: ME_REQ_HEADER_TEXT?
hope it helps.

wojciech

  • Billing Doc-Header-Texts copy Accounting Doc-Hader Texts?

    Dear gurus,
I it possible to copy Billing Doc.-header- Text1 to
    Accounting Document>>>>>>"Doc. Header Text" field?

    Hello,
the SAP note 301077 lists the available userexits in SD/FI interface.
If, for example, you want to fill a BSEG field of customer line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_002 is the good one.
Instead if you want to fill a BSEG field of a G/L line, userexit EXIT_SAPLV60B_004 is the good one.

  • Sales Header Text copy to Delivery Header Text

    Hello,
We want to copy sales order header text to delivery header text.
We already did the configuration VOTXN in DEV client and it is working.
When transported to QA client, we're not able to copy sales order header text to delivery header text.  It is still saying Access Sequence missing.  Checked the configuration in QA, and the access sequence is there attached to the Text Field.
What else could have been missing?

    Hello,
Have you created Sales order Header Text by using transaction SO10.
if Yes,then Run the program 'RSTXTRAN' and attach the Text object to your TR.
Then Transport this Text to Quality.
There will be 2 workbench request and 2 Cutomising request.
Please take care of Sequence in order to move it to QAS(As per Condition Technique Determination)
    Revert if not resolved.
    Regards

  • PR header text copied to PO header text

    hi
is there any setting for coping PR header text to PO header text
i checked in  define text types & copying rules to PR & PO
    am not finding this option
to copy PR header text to PO header text
is it possible in std SAP
    nani

    this is not possible.
You can  convert various different requisitions into one purchase order.
You can create per requisition one PO item.
You can even have one PO item that has a schedule line per PR.
Imagine that each PR has its own header text, from which purchase requisition shall then the the header text be taken?
From all and just adding. Or only from the first PR, or last PR.

  • How to configure Sales order item text copy to Purchase requisition item

    Hi,
How to configure sales order item text copy to Purchase requisition text then copy to PO item text.
    Regards
    Jack

    Hi Rajesha,
Thanks for your reply, some of the items in sales order are procured externally by us and our customer maintains text related to price and specification in the item details of the sales order, MRP creates planned order for these materials and these planned orders are always converted in pur requisition, we want that text from the sales order item details should be copied in to the purchase requisitions converted from planned orders.
is there any user exit which can be called at the time of saving a purchase req or user exit for converting planned order in to pur req.?
if there is any such exit available, then I think I can read the pegged requirement of the planned order where sales order item will be found then read the text in the item then copy this text in pur req then save pur req may work.
but this will be a bulky development, please let me know if we can shorten the development.
    Thanks again
    Anand

  • Header Text copy to PO from vendor master

    Dear all,
I am trying to pull data storeed in vendor master to PO for header text so that we don't need to repeat to each PO for the vendor.
I tried to link this in "Texts for Purchase Orders" in SPRO ,But not able to link it
B'coz it's not allowing me to add the object of vendor master
so pl guide me how i link vendor master text to PO
    Regards,
    Vimlesh

    Hi,
In customizing ->material management -> purchasing -> purchase order -> texts for purchase orders -> define copying rules for header texts, choose "header text" and click on text linkages. Here you can enter for source object "vendor master", and for source text choose vendor master header text.
And in the FIX INDICATOR for text you have to maintain blank. then it will copy text
This will copy text from vendor master to PO header text.
Please check this and revert back if you need further details
    thanks,

  • Third Party : Sales order Header text should copy to PO Header text

    Hi,
I need to copy sales order header text to PO Header text
in the third Party sales order scenario.
Can anybody suggest how to do it.
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards,
    RRS.

I doupt that this is possible without using a user exit.
The 3rd sales order will create a PR, the PR has no header text (just a header note = internal use), the PO is created in reference to the PR. And it is not possible to copy PR header text to PO header text.

  • Customer Master - Sales text copy to Sales Document Header

    Hello,
I have properly configured the text types, access sequences, and text procedures to take text from the Customer - Sales & Distribution and copy to the Sales Document Header.  After testing this in my DEV system, everything is working appropriately.
I have transported these changes to my QA system, all transports went through successfully.  All configuration is now the same between my DEV and QA systems, and the access sequences are recognized in both systems via the TTXERN table.
All changes were made using transaction VOTXN.
The problem is that when performing my test in QA, the text is not copied from the Customer Master - Sales Area text to the Sales Document Header text.  When going to the Text Determination Analysis view, it states 111 - Access Sequence does not exist.  When selecting Customizing, it clearly shows that the access sequences do exist.
Has anyone encountered this issue?  I have checked SAP notes but have not found a proper resolution for this issue.

Read OSS  Note 1002455 - Errors in texts: Messages VX 201, VX 111, and VX 205 and  Note 1002664 - FAQ: Text determination problems after upgrade.
Also check OSS Note 581779 - Text determination analysis: Access sequence does not exist.
One more OSS Note 970153 - Change to Customizing text not transferred to target system may also apply to your scenario.

  • Order header text needs to be copied to Invoice Header text

    Dear All,
i am putting some header text in the sales order,i want the same to be copied to the invoice header text, pls guide how to do the same as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    AKD

    Dear AKD,
If you want to copy the sales order header text to the invoice header first you need to copy the sales order header text to the delivery header from delivery you can copy to invoice.
When you want to copy the Text from Sales order to delivery the Access sequence will place a role
Through VOTXN you need to do the Text determination settings to the Sales order header, delivery header and invoice header.
If you want to copy the sales order text to the delivery document The Text Object should be VBBK in the delivery Header Text determination access sequence for that Text ID
Again you can copy the text from delivery to Billing document through checking the Delivery Text field in the billing document detail screen (Top most bottom of the screen).
Go to VOFA transaction select your billing document type then go in to the details here you can find the Delivery Text field you just check that check box.
Now system will copy the sales order header text to the delivery header then it will copy to the invoice header.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Order Header Text not copied to Invoice Header

    Hi All friends
I have created text id for copiying sales order header to invoice header in votxn. I assign in text procedure of sales order as well as Invoice text procedure. I create sales order with maintaining text ID But when i created invoice with same sales order text id is not copied. Please suggest me what steps i should take and what Access sequence i must maintain to copy text from Sales order to Invoice.
I have maintained the access sequence and maintain the required text id in access sequence. But system is only access the first text id from order header to Invoice header not other text id  which i maintain in order.
    Regards

Edited by: SHAMBHU SARKAR on Dec 29, 2008 12:30 PM

    Hi shambu
while doing text determination in one step in i think in text id's in text procedures, maintain as TEXT IS OBLIGATORY AND SHOULD BE DISPLAYED WHILE COPYING.
Text is obligatory and displayed when Transferring - whatever text you have entered in the sales order that will be copied into preceding document say delivery or billing

  • System should Not copy sales order header text

    Hi all,
My requirement is system should not copy sales order header text while copying sales order to sales order with same order type.
for example i have order type OR - standard type with 500 line items with reference to that same sales order we are creating another order with same line 500 line items, but requirement is system should not copy source document header text in to target document header text,
Do you have any standard functionality to avoid this or we need to go exit
    Regards
    Nishad

    Hi,
You can do it via standard SAP configuration.
    Transaction VOTXN.
In the access sequence you have the corresponding Text ID added with "Text Object" VBBK. That's the reason why you are copying text.
    Change the entry.
Check below link on how exactly to do that. This doc says about how to copy customer text to the sales order. But procedure is same for you as well. Just the object is different.
    [Text type config|http://learnsaptips.blogspot.com/2010/09/text-type-configuration-in-sap.html]
    Hope it helps!

  • A text on the invoice header It is copied from the customer master

Hi need to create a text in smart form the requirement is as below
It’s a text on the invoice header. It is copied from the customer master to the order than to delivery and finally on the invoice.
    Regards
    Rasheed

    Hi!
You have to write a code in your SMARTFORM for this.
First you have to read the customer master data from the table KNA1.
Then you have to read from the SD order and invoice, this can be found in table VBPA.

  • Header text + copy control

    Dear all,
2 issues regarding header/item text and copy control.
    Header text
I created a copy from the standard stales order "DR" (debit memo request) and from the standard order "CR" (credit memo request).
Can anyone tell me why the DR doesn't have a header text, while CR has the field available?
Or even better: could anyone tell me how I can have a header text for the sales order DR if it is not shown (via standard customizing)?
    Item text
Other issue I have is with the item text: we are making a copy from the masterial sales text, however, on the sales order this text cannot be edited anymore. Any possibility to change this via standard customizing?
We make a copy from a standing sales order to a normal sales order, where the text is derived from the material sales text, but should remain editable on the normal (2nd) sales order.
    Copy control
If we want to copy the item text and header text from sales order to billing document, which copy control to take?
Currently I have the standard copy control, however, for the CR sales order copy, the item text is copied. For the DR sales order copy... the item text is not copied from the sales order to the billing document...
    Many thanks!

    Hey,
    Regarding your first question..
    Header Text
Can anyone tell me why the DR doesn't have a header text, while CR has the field available?
The CR document type might have got Text determination procedure assigned and DR doesn't have that. Check that in VOV8 or VOTXN.
This can be configured in VOTXN, select the Sales Document Header radio button and click on the Change option, Select the relevant procedure and go to the "Text Id's in Text procedure"  then Uncheck the "Reference" check box against the text id you are looking for. If this box is checked then the text will be referenced and is non editable, till the source text is changed.
Regarding your third issue,  Once you assign the Text determination procedure to DR document type, it will take care of it.
    Regards,
    Aj.
