PR is not creating in Backend ECC for Direct material Shopping carts

Hello Experts,
i have one issue, due to some reasons we deactivated 'Order as Direct Material' button on our SRM shoppingcart screen. But again due to the requirement we activated the 'Order as Direct Material' button. Now the issue is when we are creating a shopping cart by using order as direct material button no Purchase Requisition is creating in the backend ECC. we are in SRM 5.0. we already implemented BADI: BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW. we are able to create PR for the shopping carts which we order normally i.e for non-direct materials (with out using that order as direct material button).
please guide me on this!!!
thanks in advance!!!!

Hello,
You can use note 1173815 to debug if follow-on document determination is occurring in backend.
Also, you will be able to check if any error happened during this process.
Kind regards

  • SRM 7.0 PO not replicated to Backend ECC 6.0 Ehp 4

    Hi SRM Gurus,
    SRM 7.0  SP 8 - ECC 6.04 SAPKH60406 ECS
    RFx Response to PO -
SRM Local PO is created and is in held status.  Purchaser gives the source of supply and Acc Assignment and order it.
PO now is in Ordered status.
Issue: this PO is not replicated to Backend ECC 6.04.
    Did the Debugging as follows:
    1.  BP at B46B_DPO_TRANSFER.
    2.  Got the PO GUID from the BBP_PD transaction.
    3.  FM BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC, execute it and it  stopped in the breakpoint.
    4.  On 'FUNCTION 'BBP_PO_INBOUND' DESTINATION lv_destination',  hit F6.
    5. Checked  lt_bapi_return details.
Here there should be information regarding some error during the PO copy to backend.
With this error message you can check why the PO was not created in backend.
ERRORS from Backend are as follows:
    1.   No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:   E  BAPI 001
    2.   Document contains no items       E    ID 06   Number 010
    3.   Please enter items first.              W   ID 05                 005
No XML messages in SXMB_moni both in SRM side and ECC side.
What am i doing wrong here?  Any help is highly appreciated.

Since we are in SRM 7.0 ECC 6.04 Ehp 4,  with PI 7.11 + ROS and no SUS.
doent the system uses ESOA Service for PO replication.
We did CCTR / CPPR scenarios too. Both are sucessful.
Do we need to impl BADI PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT
But thats for Service hierarchy and Service POs -  We dont have Service hierarchy or SUS in our SLD.
IF PO replication also uses PI, what configuration do i need to do?

    NO Prashanta,
It is still pending for me . i just raised OSS message to SAP ...but SAP saying that
" I checked and found that in the classic scenario , Direct Materials cannot use backend contracts. The behavior described above is in accordance with the system design. Only local sources of supply (local contracts and interlinkages) can be
used in the direct material scenario, as well as as in the extended classic scenario . Therefore the above error message which you get "Specify a valid contract" is valid."
I replied with the doubt that "Thanks for reply but we are not convenience, since what we learnt from

  • Create Quality Management view for a Material in background mode

I want to know if there is a way to create a Quality Management View (Quality Management tab) on Material Master (material already extended to plant ) in background mode.
The requirement is to add inspection setup data for a material extended to a particular plant in background. I tried using 'BAPI_MATINSPCTRL_SAVEREPLICA' to add the data and it works perfect as required. Now the problem is this BAPI is creating the inspection setup data only for the material which has QM tab in MM02 for e.g. I manually created the inspection setup for a Material from MM01 and then deleted it , now the BAPI works fine for this material because when I created an inspection setup from MM01 it created the QM tab and after i deleted the entry the tab was still there with no entry in inspection setup.
I want to create inspection setup for a material which does not have QM tab.
I have to create everything is background mode. BDC is one option which I am list interested in.
Thank you for helping in advance.

Thank you for looking into my issue. I have to do the inspection setup in background without using any front end transaction.

  • In Sales Order Users are not allowed to change price for any material

    Dear all,
Please give me the solution :
In Sales Order va02 Users are not allowed to change price for any material .

    Hi Amit
If you  want that in VA01 manual as well as other pricing condiion entry and cahnges to be allowed and only in va02 users should be restricted ,then  you have following alternative.
    Go to  T.Code SHD0
    Select Transaction VA02.
Create a new variant ,give suitable name.
    select option change with processing.
So u can run a va02 transaction and for every screen u can create screen variant and control data entry whether required  , dispaly or hide.
in this for  LV69a pricing  screen disable update button .
so system wont change anything updated or cahnged in pricing.
further you can create the variant transactions  from this transaction variant and assign to different users as per control requirements.
I think this will help you

  • SRM MM-SUS for Direct Material ( i.e. Ext Classic Scenario)

    Hi Friends,
We are planning to have the Classic Scenario in SRM 7.0  with  SUS. So it will be SUS-MM scenarion and it supports only for Classic Scenario,
But when there is a case of Direct Materials [ Manual or through PDP ( Ext Req) ], it is SAP by defaullt setting that , system determine Extended Classic Scenario.
Now , if SUS-MM supports only to Classic scenario ,then we can collaborate the Orders of Direct Material genereted through Ext Classic Scenario in SUS ?
Confused over these contrast . Can any one suggest that how to get both one in SUS-MM  ?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Alex,
    Thanks for reply.
It seems here is some confusion. PDP of Dircet Material is standard SRM secarion where we can soure the requieremnets generted in various SAP Module like PS, PM , SD, APO..etc. So We just hav eintenstion to source the requiermnet in Sourcing cockpit to create the PO .
Okay. For time being , forget the PDP of Direct Material.
Just take the Direct  Material ( For which we mention inventory or we procure for stock) only.
By SAP standard / defualt setting  , for Direct  Material , local PO is generted ,althoug we have mentioned Classic Senrion setting for the same . And it is Extended Classic Scenarion. Right!
At another side , it is SAP standrad that SUS-MM senarion support for only CLASSIC SCENARIO.
Then , my conern is  how we can send these Local orders for dircet Material to Supplier via SUS ? Wether it is not possible ?

  • More than one Follow On documents for a single shopping cart

    Hi All,
How can we determine if there will be more than one follow on document created for a single shopping cart.
One reason could be if shopping cart items have different source of supply.
What could be the other reasons. Also is there any way by which we can debug and find out the number of follow on documents created for a single shoppining cart.
    Thanking you all in advance.
    Thanks and Regards
    Manoj

    Hi  Manoj,
<i>"Also is there any way by which we can debug and find out the number of follow on documents created for a single shoppining cart."</i>
There's a FM to get all the follow on documents related to the SC and all the relations per item... use <b>BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL</b> and retrieve the <b>E_HEADER_REL</b> for the SC relations, and the <b>E_ITMLIM_REL</b> for each <b>item relations</b>.. there you will see:
    OBJECT_ID_A -> OBJECT_ID_B
what it means is the relation between a SC and the PO, or the SC with a BID... you can identify the object types by taking a look in the 'BUS...'
    OBJTYPE_A -> OBJECTTYPE_B
    SC -> BUS2121
    PO-> BUS2201
    BID-> BUS2200
    etc...
I hope this can help you to retrieve what you need....
    BR,
    Gerardo....

  • PO not created in backend after SC creation

    Hi Gurus,
We are using classic scenario. Once the SC is approved in EBP it should create PO in backend. But it is not happening.
The status in BBP_PD for the SC is I1111 item in transfer process. Also i checked BBP_PDBEI there the object is BUS2105 and also followon Backend id has been published.
But when i see it R/3 i am nto able to see the PO.
Can you pls. help out trace the error?

    peter method.
however your sc created a number range for Purchase order but really not PO created in ecc system
can you resubmit your shopping cart via clicking follow on docuemnt in monitor sc.
then you will get again real error message in application log or rz20 for the shopping cart.
from that error clearly srm will say why it could not create a PO.
Then you can correct your shopping cart data and it will create a new PO number.
even you hammer /push a shopping cart 10000 times via FM , it will not reach ECC unless you correct the error data in the shopping cart.

  • PO not created in Backend

    HI,
My SRM Quality gets re-freshed and i am on ECS scenario, i change all the ALE settings and now i am able to create a Shopping cart but when PO is created in my SRM system it is not replicated in ECC quality and i can see my status of the Purchase order when created with ref to SC is Ordered.
PLease let me know what all are the settings i need to check so that when my PO is created it will get replicated in ECC system.
    Smriti

    Hi Smriti,
This is a general error message which is returned by the function META_ACCSERV_CHECKACCASSIGNMT for any exception returned by the backend while checking for account assignment.
Problem is more than likely to do with your table BBP_BACKEND_DEST, here is a snapshot of ours.
Ensure your SRM system is the only one of type LOCAL, and with X under LOC_SYS.
Also ensure your SYS_TYPE for the connected backend is correct.
    LOG_SYS     DEST                   SYS_TYPE    RFC_POSS LOC_SYS FI_VALIDATION
                                                                                    PMECLNT300  PMECLNT300       LOCAL           X                     X        0
    QPTCLNT100  QPTCLNT100       ERP_2.0         X                                0
    QZ4CLNT100  QZ4CLNT100      R/3_4.0B        X                                0
    QZ8CLNT100  QZ8CLNT100      R/3_4.6C        X                                0
You should also check the IMG setting Define Backend System and the the RFC checkbox has been flagged for the backend.
Also very importantly see that in PPOMA the attribute ACS and SYS is correct.
These suggestions should work, if they don't, as at beginning of my reply, the error you are getting is a generic error.
If you set a breakpoint at META_ACCSERV_CHECKACCASSIGNMT you should be able to see the actual errors that are returning from the backend before they are filtered down to that error.
Also if you RFC into backend through this FM and set BP at statement message you will stop at exact error, then can note search or look for more information in SDN.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Matthew

  • Transfer Order not created while performing GR for Production order

Hi, I am facing a problem while recieving stock from a production order. The system does not create a transfer requirement or a TO.
Let me give you a brief background.
This is a new functionality introduced in ECC 6.0 for working with kanban in WM.
Supply area is created for WM location.
Control cycle is created for material, supply area. Warehouse, storage type and Bin is maintained in control cycle record. When the GR is done for production order material is recieved in this bin.
    1) Now when the Kanban is set empty a production order is automatically created.
    2) Once the production order is confirmed the material automatically shows up in the bin.
A material document is created which shows IM movement type 101 and WM movement type 103. Also in material document Immediate auto TO checkmark is blank.
    3) *PROBLEM* - System does not create a TR or a TO. the material automatically shows up in the Bin. How can we enable an auto TR and TO creation.
Following are the settings which I have already checked:
    1) In IMG, WM movement type 103 has auto TO indicator set.
    2) IM-WM interface for 102 movement type and 103 movement type is maintained.
The main problem is: Although the material document displays WM movement type 103 and the stock lies in WM bin, System never created a Transfer requirement or a Transfer order.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me in this.
    Thanks

    Hi Mike,
I do not know this function in SAP, so these are just my ideas:
    1.
System does not create a TR or a TO. the material automatically shows up in the Bin.
I think it's a normal SAP behaviour. If you do GR against a PO the quant(s) will appear in interim storage bin w/o TO. The TO is to move the quants from one bin to another, but in this case the quant comes from 'nothing' and arrives at the bin.
If you make confirmation and consume the components refering to a PrdOrd, the components will disappear w/o TO from storage type 100 + dynamic bin, because there's no TO that could move them from dynamic bin to 'nothing'.
So, these 'movements' are to change the WM stock level and TOs are not designed for this.
    2.
There's difference between auto creation of TO and immediate TO creation. Please check what SAP help says in case of TOs for outbound deliveries:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/c6/f8406c4afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
    3.
Now when the Kanban is set empty a production order is automatically created.
So, if you remove the stock from the Kanban it triggers the creation of a PrdOrd. This is very logical in a Kanban system because it is a pull system. but your problem is not this, it's clear.
If you just created an automatic TO and would remove the stock from Kanban-bin, a new PrdOrd would be generated, and so on. As many times you remove the stock a new PrdOrd is created and this might be the reason why no TO is crated automatically. In this case this would be a push system and not kanban system.
I do not know this process but if we concentrate only on the pull system, maybe this Kanaban is to store the FG until an event (e.g. shipment) should trigger the stock removal from this bin. (just my assumption)
Please try to mark the TR creation for the movement type w/o auto / immediate TO and tell us the result (whether you get the TR if you confirm the PrdOrd).
    Regards,
    Csaba
