How to deactivate the u201CHOLDu201D icon in the PR for all user departments, so that MM will not receive any held requisition.Can you pl.suggest what needs to be done

just let the battery run out then plug it in to charge. you'll know when the batt. runs out because the screen will go dark. although now that my controls are back itunes isnt reading that my ipod is plugged in and i cant update my ipod. let me know if you have the same problem.

Missing User Holder Icon only Central User Icon Exist

Classic Scenario; SRM 5.0
Hi everyone,
I had one another question - more of a clarification - I created a user in SU01. And then in order for me to assign this to the org structure I use the transaction USERS_GEN --> Copy User and Employee Data from a Template. This works great. Once this ID is assigned to the org structure - I don't see a User icon -
US VACTEST2 for example. I only see the central user (Vactest2). I have to right click on the Position (s_50015559) and assign the Holder "User" to create a user.
Do you know if this is a standard way to have the Holder User created? Or is there another way when you create a user that the User Holder is created?

We have the same problem as you had once.
How did you solve it?
Central user and position of a user exist in the org.Structure but the USER icon does not appear.
How can we agregate it?

Deleting apps on ipod by holding icon?

My kids have taken over my ipod and keep deleting off apps by holding down the icon until they shake then pressing the X, thus deleting them off.
In my library on itunes I have hundreds of apps and it takes forever to figure out what they have deleted.
Is there any way I can turn off the ability to remove apps on the ipod itself? either remove the option completely, or lock it with a passcode or something?
connecting my ipod to my pc syncs the ipod, and doesnt add the deleted apps back on.

There is no way to prevent that except do not let them use the iPod. What you want is not listed as an option in the Restriction settings.

Quick question: clear jlabel contents holding icon

Hi All,
I've been searching through the JLabel documentation and I've been trying to remove a JLabel's contents that displays an image.

How would I remove/clear this icon? I've tried JLabel1.removeAll(), JLabel1.remove(), and even tried JLabel1.getComponentCount() but the component count returned as 0.
There's gotta be an easy one liner for this. Please help. Thanks!

Here's what the API documentation for JLabel has to say about setIcon:
setIcon
public void setIcon(Icon icon)
Defines the icon this component will display. If the value of icon is null, nothing is displayed.
The default value of this property is null.
So the easy one-liner isJLabel1.setIcon(null);

I recently uninstalled a trial copy of the Creative Suite CS4 Master Collection and then purchased the Design Premium bundle.
My icons are now all differnet. For example, .asp files display with the "text" document icon.
Is there a way (either mnaually or with a utility) to reset all of the icons to there proper state?
I am running Vista Ultimate.

Open Notepad.
Copy this text into a new document:
c:\windows\system32\cleanmgr.exe /dc /sageset: 1
c:
cd \
cd c:\windows\prefetch
del *.* /q
Save to your desktop as "clean.bat" ( a Windows Batch File)
Double click it. It will open the disk cleanup tool.
You'll notice a whole bunch of other stuff listed that doesn't show up when you normally run the disk cleanup.
Check EVERYTHING. (Don't worry, if these were important files, Windows wouldn't list them as cleanable to save space.)
Close the disk cleanup.
Right click the clean.bat file and choose Edit.
In the first line where it says sageset:, change it to sagerun: then save and close the file.
Double click it again and will run a thorough cleanup of your C:/ drive, including some windows cache files that hold icon preferences for file types.
Reboot when it finishes and see if the icons aren't set right.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit changes its mind about my permission to change icons

About a week ago I created a file folder in the root of C: drive to hold icons I created. I have millions of pictures and thousands of file folders so it is quite helpful to have unique looking folders when I am searching. Best method for me
is to choose a file from the folder and make it an icon. I did this for three folders (out of about 50) in my "facebook" file. (About 5000 pics in total, so some organization is in order). Now I am attempting to update the icon for other
folders windows, in its infinite wisdom, is reporting as I browse to the file folder with the icon that it is not there. Explorer on the other hand finds said icon without issue. (Because it really is there, and windows error messages hardly ever
mean what they report). When I look for a hidden desktop.ini file in my facebook folder, I find it for the prior changes. Copying the file, making edits for the new icon and going to save it in the facebook folder, I am asked if I want to replace "the"
desktop.ini file. (Of course there are several, all with the same name, you now, because numbering them would be hard). I don't know which one windows is threatening to replace, and I don't want to make Windows any worse than it is, (still laughing)
so now I am stuck. What next? Thanks in advance to any and all for all advice offered.
One more question... why is something so simple have to be so difficult MS??

PPOME HOLDER NAME IS not displayed

Here is the case ..whena person is retired ..wht we do currently is run a retire action ...and the person is placed in a retirement org unit ..Wwe go to ppome ..we can can c the person who has retired .
Now when he is dead ..his wife needs to get the benefits ..or his wife carries forward his benefits .
In such a case wht we do ..is to just the Wives name on the system ..we perform anthoer action survivor with benefits .
which is similar to Hire action ..where she is hired on the position of the her reitred husband .
It delmits the postiion which the Husband held as per the date of his death and the Places the wife as a new postion Holder .
When iperfrom this action everythign goes fine ..series of infotypes are maintained .
I check pa30 ..all details 1 ,2 infotypes are updated as per the spouse details .
Now thw problem starts
when i go to ppome and enterthe position no ..It shows the Holder icon but no details ..Name nothing no details ..
Wwhat could be wrong ..
I guess something goto towith the ppome screen where its pulling the details ..
Kinldy help me out here .

As Arti stated check the details for holder relationship in PO13. If the relation is not created then you will have to run RHINTE00 report for the spouse.
Are you loading the spouse action through PA40 or through some program?
If program then you will have to run report as stated.
Also in PPOME check the period for which you are checking the data.

for the registry dat file all the required informationm is in there. Create a virtual directory in your HTTP server to reference the physical directory that holds your images.Open registry.dat and scroll down a bit. You find the section where you can set the image type to use jpg or gif and the virtual path. Add your virtual path as shown in the examples in this file.
Just add the name of the jpg file, with no extension, to the button's icon name property.
Alternatively you can use jar files to hold icons too. If you do a search ion this forum then you'll find a lot of comments on that.

Ipod permanetly on hold and DND screen displayed - Help!

hooked up my iPod to my PC and then attempted to start up iTunes. After several failed attempts to start up iTunes (i.e., double-clicked several times, waited, and nothing happened), I disconnected my iPod. Only then I was able to start up iTunes. However, the "Do Not Disconnect" notification is frozen on the iPod screen. I tried to reconnect the iPod to my PC (with and without iTunes running) and the iPod screen remained frozen. The computer no longer recognised the ipod as a drive, nor in itunes. The hold icon remains permantly on even after toggling the hold switch on/off several times. Resetting the ipod does not work as the click wheel is not responsive (ipod on permanent hold)

If holding the MENU and SELECT (center) button doesn't work, you might just have to let the battery completely discharge. This will force the iPod to reset the next time you connect it to power.

HELP!! iPod got frozen in HOLD !!!

Please somebody help me! i got a 2GB ipod nano, last day i switch it in HOLD mode but suddenly it got frozen, so now i can't reset it cause of the hold (even when the hold button is off), i've tried charging it, and it holds the charge, how can i reset it or make it work again?

When you connect it to your computer, does the hold icon appear on the iPod? (in the upper-left).
Also, try putting the iPod on hold. Then push down and drag it to the unhold position.
If it is stuck and will not unhold, you may need to send it in for service...

Dolby headphones icon , Belle FP1 - WHEN IS IT ON/...

After updating to Feature pack 1 , there is an option to turn dolby digital plus . It comes in the form of an icon when listening to something with headphone connected.
The icon is bright and when clicked it turns darker, but I dont seem to understand which of those 2 situations means off and which means on.
Is it on when the icon is bright (meaning, the bright color means "it's curreny on")
OR
Is it on when the icon is dark (meaning, the bright color means "if you click it, it will be on")
it's very unclear to me and for no good reason. Symbian is a good OS, unlike other phones, in Nokia Belle, holding on an icon brings up the icon description - what it's supposed to do and solve these kind of misunderstandings. But in this case, holding the Dolby Headphones icon just brings up the words "Dolby Headphone", in both cases: Holding the icon when it's bright, and also after clicking icon, meaning, when holding icon when it's dark.
Do you understand my intention? There is a dilemma here, on a broader scale it's because it's unclead if the shape of a button (for example, being bright) means it's what the status is currently now, or if the shape of a button is the action, meaning what the status WILL BE after clicking.
For example, the PAUSE button is an icon that shows what WILL BE after clicking . So I want to assume that it's the same with dolby, bright color means "click me and i will turn on." But it could also mean " I am on, click me to turn off ".
Hope Nokia would be smart to update that icon's description to be "Turn Dolby Headphone on" and "Turn Dolby Headphone off". This would clear confusion.
