PR Short text getting copied to the Item text

Hi All,
I have a scenario in which i need the PR short text getting copied to the Item text while creating a PR. Please let me know if there are any settings for the same.

PR short text you mean line item short text field beside material is getting copied?, in such cases make sure that Item text copying rule. from where its getting copied from SPRO>Material Management> purchasing>PR>Texts for Purchase Requisitions >Define Copying Rules.

Incoterms are not getting copied at the item level

HI Gurus,
I have an sales order where If we change the Incoterms at the header level, its not getting copied at the line Items. Its giving an information mesage stating, Header Business Data does not apply to Item.
The Incoterms are intially getting copied from Customer master, but later I am not able to change it.
Please let me know what might be the reasons ? If possible Please let me know some User exits which needs to be checked.

Check in VOV8 for your sale order type the following:-
a) If both Check Division and Item division are ticked, then system will pop up this message due to the fact that in the said sale order, the item division differs from header division
b) The field "ProdAttr.messages" should be blank
Next go to VOV7, select your item category and execute. There ensure that the box is ticked for "Business item". If this is unticked, then system will copy all header data to line item and you cannot change it.

Supplier Note gets copied from Catalog Item to Non-Catalog Item

Hi All,
The basic issue is that when we create a mixed shopping cart, cart with Catalog and Non-Catalog Items (Made using Describe Requirement link), the Supplier Note (in the Documents and Attachments part ) from the Catalog Item gets copied to the Non-Catalog Item directly when we create the Non-Catalog Item.
We face the issue only when the first Item is a Catalog Item. ...
There are no custom developments for the Supplier Note and we do not modify it directly in any other way. Any Ideas .. ?

Hi Bharath,
The issue is that for the Non-catalog ( Item created using Describe Requirement ) in SRM 5.0, the supplier note field is getting populated by default. This is the issue.
The Supplier's Note should remain blank. But, its not... This is the issue. Do you have any ideas what may be causing the issue..?

Thanks for your valuable inputs....
I have maintained the condition record for the combination of delivery plant region and the customer region.......assigned dummy tax code against the Tax condition...therefore I think there wont be any problem in posting billing doc to accounting doc.
There are different combinations,where sometimes the user is liable for 2% CST ....sometimes 4%CST... but I am able to pick one tax value say 12.5% CST across and maintained the tax condition types - manual entry has priority, as allowed the user to change the value manullay as per the user requirement ....
Now if i change the Tax condition value in the sales order ,the same is not reflecting in the Invoice....this also is applying from contract to a sales order...
Please advice me accordingly...

The item may have been removed either permanently or temporarily between now and when you last downloaded it. There may be an problem with the App Store or your connection to it. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Try waiting a couple of hours and trying again.

Coded UI - Test Results/Out - The binary files are getting copied to the TestResults/Out folder

Hi,
I am using Visual Studio 2013 for developing the Coded UI Automation Scripts.
Whenever I execute a Coded UI Automation Script, the binary files are getting copied to the TestResults/Out folder.
I do not want these binary files to be copied to OUT folder, and I have tried disabling the Deployment option under Test Settings > Deployment, but still the behavior is the same.
Could you please advice, how to disable copying binary files into the Out directory.

Hi Karthick K,
From your description, as far as I know that when we enable Tracing and HtmlLogger for Coded UI Test and then run the coded UI test, we will get the Test Results/Out folder automatically.
So it is default that the Out folder includes some files like codeduitestproject6.dll, CodedUITestProject6.pdb etc, we could not disable copying binary files into the Out directory.
However, there have a replace workaround is I suggest you can disable Tracing and HtmlLogger for Coded UI Test. After you disable the Tracing and HtmlLogger for Coded UI Test, it will not generate the Out folder.
Similarly, it will not get the binary files.

DateField not getting copy in the matrix using Datasource & Datatable

I have tried to copy data From Purchase Order Tables to my own created User Defined Form matrix columns using DBDatasource & Datatables ,Instead of Document Date all other data are getting copied but that document date field is not
getting the data plus it is not showing any error message as such.

FrmDate is the Document date of the purchase order which i am fetching through sql query and trying to copy that in the matrix
through datasource .

I cannot save the Firefox icon in Applications: I get a message "The item "Firefox.app" can't be replaced because it's invisible."

I downloaded the update to my desktop and can open it, but I cannot move the icon to Applications. Each time I do, I get the error message: The item “Firefox.app” can’t be replaced because it’s invisible.
It's currently saved in Documents. The icon remains on the Dock.

Label of items get 'stuck' on the items....

Hi everybody,
I have upgraded Oracle 6i Forms to Oracle Forms 10g v10.1.2 . The peculiar matter is that in the upgraded 10g forms almost 60-70% of the labels of all items (display , text items) get stuck on the upper side of these kind of items...., altough in Forms 6i the labels were not stuck on the items......
Is there a bug or something i can do except for modifying the X position of the labels manually...?????
NOTE: In Forms Builder the gap is significant almost as it is in Forms 6i..The problem appears at runtime....

I am using Firefox. The boxes show up no matter if I sign out and sign back in or not and flash has been updated and it still occurs. I've attached an image to show you what it looks like. I've minimized my form to show that the box continues to stay in place. (My form is a lot longer than what screen capture allows me to show and there are more randomly placed text boxes further down the page.)

How can I get and change the items grid of MIRO trx

Hi everyone,
I have a requirement where I need to get and change the tax code field in MIRO's item grid. Is there a function module / Badi to do this? I used MRM_HEADER_CHECK, but the parameters related with this badi only allows read but not change them.
Do you have any idea?

You can change that table with help of the filed-symbol in the BADI MRM_HEADER_CHECK.

MODIFY ti_drseg FROM ls_drseg INDEX lv_index.
ENDLOOP.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <drseg> TYPE mmcr_tdrseg.
ASSIGN ('(SAPLMR1M)ydrseg[]') TO <drseg>.
<drseg> = ti_drseg[]. " this will modify the data in MIRO with your modified data

Getting error message : the item Itunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly. I get this either using the start menu or the desktop shortcut. I tried going to programs /itunes and repair.

I think it is some sort of permissions issue preventing the installer from updating the shortcuts. Is your account an administrator of the machine? If it is and you still have the problem then you may need to explicitly use the "Administrator" account for the install.

Workforce planning data not getting copied into the CATs

I am doing the activity confirmation in the project by transferring the data from CATs. However in order to maintain the data in CAT2 we have to copy the data from workforce planning.
currently it is not happening. The data is not getting copied in CAT2.

Proposed delivery date should not get copied to the target document

Hi gurus,
I am creating a quotation and it is taking proposed delivery date as creation date and confirming a schedule line. When i create the sales order the same data is coped to the sale order. I have a different delivery date in sales order , but the system dose not allow me to change the date saying that a schedule line already confirmed for this line item.
I have unticked the copy schedule line the copay control of item category from quotation to order. still the same problem...pls help

If you carefully look at the problem, the root cause is not at the schedule line but at the document header where the delivery date is given.
So if you really dont want the delivery date to be copied, you should do that in a new copying routine and in that routine, you should copy all the details except the delivery date. This means that even if you create with reference, system will ask you for requested delivery date. Now you can give the delivery date of your choice and further scheduling will happen automatically.

Hi NQ,
Although the question is not thouroughly clear, I can give a few suggestions. You can use the property node for table to refer to any particular row or column of the table. The correpsonding elements in the property node will be "SelStart", "SelSize" etc. Just as a side thought, the index of a table starts with (0,0).
I am attaching a test file. Please see if it helps you in figuring out what exactly you want. This example VI is just to help you try different options under property node (if you havent already tried)to get what you want.
