PR to PO convertion (4.6C and ECC6)
Hi,
I have got a diff kind of issue (weired one), we have upgraded from 4.6C to ECC6 in ECC6 when you convert a PR to a PO for a matl for which info record is deleted earlied converts all datas expect <b>tax code</b> this happens only in ECC6 but in 4.6c it copies all the data's from info rec including tax code.

Convert smart quotes and other high ascii characters to HTML
I'd like to set up Dreamweaver CS4 Mac to automatically convert smart quotes and other high ASCII characters (m-dashes, accent marks, etc.) pasted from MS Word into HTML code. Dreamweaver 8 used to do this by default, but I can't find a way to set up a similar auto-conversion in CS 4. Is this possible? If not, it really should be a preference option. I code a lot of HTML emails and it is very time consuming to convert every curly quote and dash.

Digital ArtsI too am having a related problem with Dreamweaver CS5 (running under Windows XP), having just upgraded from CS4 (which works fine for me) this week.
In my case, I like to convert to typographic quotes etc. in my text editor, where I can use macros I've written to speed the conversion process. So my preferred method is to key in typographic letters & symbols by hand (using ALT + ASCII key codes typed in on the numeric keypad) in my text editor, and then I copy and paste my *plain* ASCII text (no formatting other than line feeds & carriage returns) into DW's DESIGN view. DW displays my high-ASCII characters just fine in DESIGN view, and writes the proper HTML code for the character into the source code (which is where I mostly work in DW).
I've been doing it this way for years (first with GoLive, and then with DW CS4) and never encountered any problems until this week, when I upgraded to DW CS5.
But the problem I'm having may be somewhat different than what others have complained of here.
In my case, some high-ASCII (above 128) characters convert to HTML just fine, while others do not.
E.g., en and em dashes in my cut-and-paste text show as such in DESIGN mode, and the right entries

turn up in the source code. Same is true for the ampersand
&
and the copyright symbol

and for such foreign letters as the e with acute accent (ALT+0233)

What does NOT display or code correctly are the typographic quotes. E.g., when I paste in (or special paste; it doesn't seem to make any difference which I use for this) text with typographic double quotes (ALT+0147 for open quote mark and ALT+0148 for close quote mark), which should appear in source code as
“[...]”
DW strips out the ASCII encoding, displaying the inch marks in DESIGN mode, and putting this
"[...]"
in my source code.
The typographic apostrophe (ALT+0146) is treated differently still. The text I copy & paste into DW should appear as
[...]’[...]
in the source code, but instead I get the foot mark (both in DESIGN and CODE views):
I've tried adjusting the various DW settings for "encoding"
MODIFY > PAGE PROPERTIES > TITLE/ENCODING > Encoding:
and for fonts
EDIT > PREFERENCES > FONTS
but switching from "Unicode (UTF-8)" to "Western European" hasn't solved the problem (probably because in my case many of the higher ASCII characters convert just fine). So I don't think it's the encoding scheme I use that's the problem.
Whatever the problem is, it's caused me enough headaches and time lost troubleshooting that I'm planning to revert to CS4 as soon as I post this.

I'm using the below coding for converting the output of the program to pdf and then mail it to the recepient.The coding works for background processsing only can i do the same for online.In the write statement i'm using the sy-repid my program name and when i get the pdf mail i'm getting the name of the program but instead i need to get the output of my program.Can any one help me in correcting the coding to get the output in pdf format.I know where i'm going wrong but this is the first time i'm working with this so new to this....It would be better if i could run the program and get the convertions into pdf through mail instead of background processing.....Please change the coding below to get the same.....

Dear Experts,
I have a problem with external sort used in the program. due to that report output records are not in the same order.
For example, i am extracting data from BSEG with fields company code, fiscal year, document no, item no, amount and GL Respectively.
in both the systems (R/3 4.7 and ECC6), data in internal tables are in same order by default.
but after the external sort using filelds company code, fiscal year and document no.
output records are sorted exactly with respect to the external sort order in both systems, but for certain line items are not in same order.

411100The order of extracted records can no be assumed to be constant, any SQL optimizer can change behavior, even without any wide upgrade, but a single database or kernel patch as well as many operation of database administrator can change the order, as well as a change of user behavior, if they fill now another field in selection. So it is good practices to always sort (or use sorted type) internal table extracted or use a ORDER BY clause (provided there is an index in database, else do not)

The order of the rows in the result set refers to all columns that are not listed after ORDER BY, is undefined, and can be different in repeated executions of the same SELECT statement.
There are also some [MANY > 1000] OSS notes on the subject (look for your database, e.g. 1858427 - Incorrect Sorting of SQL-Select Statement, 1859655 - The result set of an SQL-Select Statement may not be sorted, 1858479 - Result set of select statement is not sorted, 1858569 - Incorrect access to result set of SELECT statement, etc.)
Also if you sort an internal table and require records with same key values to keep their respective order, use the STABLE clause.

In case if you are already working in production remember that decimal places should not change. It will affect all previous data.
For your problem best solution is make order unit as 1000. So that your problem will solve
e.g. instead of 2.009 inr for 1 Unit use 2009 inr for 1000 unit. -

Just go to iTunes Preferences. Click on the General icon. Set When you insert a CD to Ask to Import CD. Click on Import Settings. Set Import to MP3 decoder. Make sure you're using Good Quality.
This should deal with your CD's.
With your current music, as long as it does not have DRM restrictions (older iTunes Music did), select the song, right click on the song (or group of songs), pull down to Create MP3 version. -
I would like to embed interactive widgets in iBooks using iBookAuthor. The widgets in question started life in Java but GWT has allowed them to be converted to javascript and to run on web pages (for example, http://softoption.us/content/node/437 scroll to the bottom). In theory, iBookAuthor can bring in most html5, and much javascript. The technique is to wrap the html in a folder, with 2 extra files, a plist and a default png and then change the extension of the folder to ‘.wdgt’. This is the technique for making Dashboard widgets for the Mac, and Apple even have the Dashcode software to do it. So what you really do is to make a Dashboard widget, then iBookAuthor can import it. So far, so good. It is accepted by the text and shown as being there. However, if you use Preview to look at it on an iPad, it is gone (or was never there in the first place). Anyone any ideas on this? MartinI do have a little to add, which might help someone. Indeed, opening a blank page and dragging the widget straight in seems good in difficult cases. But, actually, I was also able to insert successfully from the Toolbar especially to blank pages. So, it may have been something to do with the columns and stuff like that. Anyway back then the insertion would show in iBooks Author but not in the Preview on the iPad. I moved on to actual Google Web Toolkit output javascript. Basically I had three at hand to try: a Hello World with a button which went straight it, one of moderate complexity, (for example with a built in Lisp interpreter), which also went straight in, and finally a more complex one that initially was rejected by iBook Author. Author complained that there was an unsupported media file (of course, Author does not tell you which one it is, that would be too easy). [Remember, this was a proper working Dashboard widget which could be installed on a Mac]. Among other things I had read remarks about .gif files. When looking through the GWT war directory at the actual javascript etc files, I noticed there were two gifs there one called ‘clear.cache.gif ‘ and a second one called ‘0F89659FF3F324AE4116F700257E32BD.cache.gif’. (Now, there is obfuscation so the numbers here may be different from case to case.) The clear.cache.gif did not seem to be anything special. But the other one is an animation. It is three little boxes that twinkle (rather like a waiting spinning cursor). So, I opened that file and saved it to itself (that picks the top frame of the animation and saves only that, leaving you with an unanimated gif). The resulting widget drags and drops into iBooks Author (and seems to work properly at a quick glance). So, if you are having trouble with ‘unsupported media files’ converting animated gifs into unanimated gifs might help in some cases.

I am a windows user that has converted to Mac and loving it but when I updated to Lion my wireless internet dongle would not work anymore and the Macbook Pro does not recognise the device at all so I am unable to reinstall it again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

PSE Elements 9-convert to black and white not working.
I recently bought my wife a new HP computer with Windows 7 64bit and Photoshop Elements 9 to go with it. She has not had any problems up until today.. It seems when she attempts to convert a picture into black and white, photoshop freezes up. Sometimes it will convert the image but most of the time when you go to Enhance--convert to black and white, the little photo of what you want to conver that is on the right hand side of the screen just fills up with dots and then nothing appears on the work area.At that point you cannot close the application or anything else with out Ctrl.alt,delete. I have tried to change the programs compatibility to Windows Xp service pack 2 and 3 as well as running as admin but it does not fix this problem. As far as I know this only occurs when she tries to convert photos to black and white. What can we do? Is PSE9 not compatible with Windows 7 64?

Hi, in my script I am trying to read the Date and Time using the XMP functions of a selected file in bridge. Then, I want to convert that date and time into a format that looks like: "01/12/10 | 01:23 PM" and write that to another metadata field like the description. Fail to convert between UTF8 and UCS2

I got that error message when try to show the table's content in uix page.
I use varchar2(40). the error occurs, when i set special characters like õ,ü,Ü.. and so on.
This affects only UTF encoded database.
We use: 9.0.2.5, Jdev9.0.3.3., UIX, iAS 9.4.2??(i dont'know)
As i know the problem is when there is 40 letters in the column and it contains "special character" it can't convert it, because the neccessary space requered to store values is much more.
If i use nvarchar, i don't think it fix this problem.
And as i know, all sql constant must use where coulmn=N'constans value' format.

How can i set the UTF database and BC4J to run correctly.
I mean... what type to use, what is the column size to set.

ViktorI had the same problem using Oracle 9i. The problem lied within the Oracle JDBC driver itself! --;
If you're using JDBC driver from Oracle 9i, stop using it!
You should download JDBC driver of Oracle 10g from Oracle site and use that driver instead.
After I changed the driver, I now have no problem of getting Korean characters from the database.
