PRA Production number ranges

PRA Production number ranges maintenance is split into 2 options:
Interval Maintenance For Revenue Accounting Integration Turned ON
Interval Maintenance For Revenue Accounting Integration Turned OFF
What is not clear is where to find the integration switch to identify if it is ON or OFF?

Hi Paulo,
There will not be any switch that you can see, it is based on the scope of the configuration you determine which interval number range you need to configure for Revenue, for example, if the scope of the project is to include production module and have the number range for revenue defined to integrate, then choose revenue accounting integration turned on and vice versa.

  • Alfa-numaric number ranges

    Hi ,
Can we maintain alfa-numaric number ranges for BP Master and product master
ex i want the number ranges for BP is  123ABC . and  Product number range should be
    345XYZ .
    full points will be rewarded

    Hi,
You can maintain the external number ranges as A100000 to A900000 in the number range maintianance for BPs as well as Product Masters
The method for the same for BPs would be to create the number range and assign it to a Grouping using
    SPROCross-Application ComponentsSAP Business PartnerBusiness PartnerBasic SettingsNumber Ranges and GroupingsDefine Groupings and Assign Number Ranges
    Hope this would help.

  • Number range for serial Number in production order

    Hi all,
I want to use the Serial Number in production Order ... It should be generated automatically ... when i try this system creating the serial number from 1.....i want the number to start from 2000000 , How to configure this number range ....
    Please advise me ...
    Regards,

    Dear
Following steps are required in Serial Number Management :
    1. OIS2 or Go to path SPRO > Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Technical Objects > Serial Number Management > Define Serial Number Profiles. There enter "2" in Stkck column for your serial profile.
2.SPRO->SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Technical Objects->Equipment->Equipment Categories->Define Number Ranges
    3. IQ01 Create Serial Number
    4. MM02 You need to add the above created Serial Number Profile in the Material Master ion the work scheduling view .
    5. CO02 Assigning the Serial Number through Production Order,
Also Serial Number can be created automatically by clicking on u201CCreate Serial Number Automaticallyu201D , Release the Order
    6. MB31 Do the GR for the above created Production Order and Check in MMBE for serial Numbers
    Try and check

  • Create number range and assign new product id

    hi,
can anyone tell me the steps to create the number range and assign it to the product id..
and replace existing product id to the new one through program or.. is there any standard program is available to change the product id
    thanks
    dinesh

    Hi Dinesh,
Agree with Arden, I think there is no number range feature for product IDs. You can have your own number range object and intervals with custom solution on UI to create product IDs sequentially.
I am not sure but have a look at the TCode: COMC_MATERIALID_ALL which may be doing what you need.
You cannot change the product ID once created I think.
You can change the category assignment of the products through the report : COM_PRODUCT_RECATEGORISATION
Check enhancement spot : CRM_PRODIL_EXIT which has got some methods for CREATE and MODIFY Products.
    Hope this will be useful.

  • Transport number ranges to production server of withholding tax

    Hi
I have created the number ranges in the development server and saved in one request, but the number ranges are not working in Production system. How can i again transport the same request in production system.
I tried to transport it again but it is showing in grey mode.
    Thanks

Number ranges are suggested to be maintained directly in the production client.
Even if you want to transport, Go to SE01 and check that your trans then port include the number range you want to transport.

  • Number ranges in production server

I have created the following number ranges in production server
    $$$$     IN     EX
    $$C     IN     EX
    $$O     IN     EX
    $$S     IN     EX
    $$$$
    EX     00000001     49999999     0             (External checked)
    IN     50000000     99999999     50000024
    $$O
    EX     20000000     22999999     0 (External checked)
    $$C
    EX     30000000     32999999     0 (External checked)
    $$S
    EX     40000000     42999999     0 (External checked)
But when I created the org unit it is taking internal and the number is assigned 50000000.
I want all the org units to be 20000000 to 22999999 and external.
    How should I do it?

    Hi,
For org units if you require the  ID to belong to the external number range, you will need to specify the ID of the org unit and then hit CREATE.
If you do not specify the ID, it will take the next number available under the default internal number range which is
    $$$$
    IN 50000000 99999999 50000024
    Hope this helps.

  • Number range object interval - Production Orders

    Dear All,
In number range object AUFTRAG, no. of numbers in buffer mentioned as 20,
To my knowledge, because there is buffer defined as 20, system may skip some numbers in production order number range amounting to 20.

Can anyone tell me why is this happened?

  • Plantwise separate number range for Production order

    Hello SAP Expert,
I my project our client require plantwise number range for Production order, order Confirmation for indentifiction purpose .
Please give way to do this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Yogesh.

    Hi,
As per standard SAP not possible because Order types are maintain at Client level and not at Plant Level, but as Sukender said use Different Order Types for different Plants. But I guess user will face one problem often during Manual Production / Process Order Creation , and that is if they select wrong order type then face a problem like no Order type dependent Parameter set for required Plant.

  • External number range for products

    Hi forum,
I try to upload product in the transaction COMMPR01 with the function: CRMXIF_PRODUCT_MATERIAL_SAVE.
Everything is OK when the product id is not a number, but my client need to give to products a number.
I assign to my category a number range extern, but it doesnt work.
The error when i debug is the next:
    A   |COM_PRODUCT_SETTINGS|016   |7 : Product ID 7 has an invalid format
Any suggestion or idea about this problem¿?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mon

    Hi Mon,
This might be because of the numeric product ID there. if you see the product Id you are passing is 7, which is a number. But, you convert the same and store to database it will be stored with 0 prefixed. For eg. some thing like 0000000007. Number of 0's depends on the lenght of the field.
To avoid this probably you can suffix the product id (which is a numeral here) with 0's and use them. Probably you can use PACK/UNPACK (eith of these two ABABP statements) to get the required product ID.
    This should work. please try.
    Best Regards,
    Sruendra

  • Separate number ranges for GR against PO and GR against Production Order

    All SAP Gurus,
Is it possible to have Separate number ranges (for Material Documents as well as for FI Documents) for GR against PO and for GR against Production Order?
    Regards,

    Hello Anusha,
Basically you need to maintain the confirmation control key in the Info record or the vendor master in order get the option of doing an inbound delivery and not a rough GR. in info record in purchasing screen and also the same screen in vendor master.
The above is a permanent setting for a vendor, if you want to do it temporarily, you need to go to the confirmations tab in PO item details and change the control key in there.
I hope this is what you are looking for
