  • Pre-defined header in report

    Hi All,
Maybe a stupid question but ... when we create a new ABAP (se38->create) in our system, a report header (lines and pre-defined fields) is already in there. It's not an existing pattern in the system (no entries in TSE05).
Can anyone tell me where this header in the ABAP is coming from and how we can change it ?
    Thanks,
    Rob Makelaar.

  • Trying to change a pre-defined report. Date format is wrong, 20140217 should be 17.02.2014.

The pre-defined report in sccm "Computers with specific software registered in Add Remove Programs" has a query like this:
    Select DISTINCT sys.Netbios_Name0, fcm.SiteCode,  sys.User_Domain0, sys.User_Name0, sys.Operating_System_Name_and0, arp.DisplayName0,
    arp.InstallDate0
    FROM fn_rbac_R_System(@UserSIDs)  sys
    JOIN v_Add_Remove_Programs arp ON sys.ResourceID = arp.ResourceID
    JOIN v_FullCollectionMembership fcm on sys.ResourceID=fcm.ResourceID
    WHERE DisplayName0 like @filterwildcard and fcm.CollectionID=@CollID
I have highlighted the part that I added to the report.
I have inserted an extra column in Report Builder, and added the value inside the column and the install date can be viewed in the report. However the date format is shown like this: 20140217 - I want it to be 17.02.2014.
So I try to change this via right-clicking on the cell in Report Builder, Text Box Properties, Number. Here I choose Date and the correct format. However it does not change the date format when saving and running the report again. It just stays the same.
    Kthxbai

The format can be change if it was a date. But if you look that field it is NOT a date, it is a string and therefore will not  change to the data format that you want.
On top of this, there is a bigger problem. Not ever setup records the date or in the same format so.....

Sorry - I am not sure what you mean by the last statement. "Not ever setup records the date or in the same format so.."
    - Would it be possible to elaborate? Thank you very much.

  • I don't want a pre-defined image size?

Is there a program for pictures that doesn't require me to pre-define the image size? I want a program that doesn't make me choose the size of the image before I start. I might want to make it longer or taller, or shorter. I've been looking for a drawing type of program that will let me drag-drop smaller or bigger. Sorry to make the comparison, but something like MS Paint from '95, but without the crashy-ness of windows.

    Have a look here...
When you create a new store account or sign in with an existing Apple ID (that you haven't used in the store), you must provide a payment method. If you want to remove the payment method after you create the account, you can change your payment information to None.

  • Are there pre-defined photo layouts in Aperture as there are in iphoto

I have looked at Aperture Boo layouts but pre-defined page layouts as per iphoto seem to be missing do I have to start
from scratch and design my own?
Am thinking I should stick with iphoto.....

    Different programs different layouts.
I know that the slideshow themes from iPhoto 11 are useable in Aperture, not sure about the book themes.
As for sticking with iPhoto or moving to Aperture, if your major use of iPhoto is making books, calendars or the other consumer type projects that iPhoto does well, then you might be better off sticking with  iPhoto. Aperture is definitely lacking when it comes to these.
However from both an image management perspective and image adjustment perspective Aperture wins hands down.  One way around this you might want to consider is to use Aperture as your main photo program and only use iPhoto for these tasks.  In iPhoto under File is the ability to access the Aperture library. ranted you only have access to the Aperture previews this way but you can set the preview quality in Aperture to what ever level you need to get he print quality you want.

Deactivate the User Exit and Try Once. Please Contact Abaper.
    Activating and Deactivating a Project
After you have attached all add-on functionality to the exits in your project, you need to activate the project.  Activating a project turns on all your add-ons.  You also need to activate your project after you have transported it from a development system into a productive system.
When you activate your project, the system turns on all the add-ons contained within the project.  You cannot activate certain add-ons separately.  The activate an add-on project, proceed as follows:
    1.         Enter the Project Management transaction.
    2.         Choose Activate project.
The system confirms that the project was activated.
You can now call up a standard SAP transaction that contains an exit you used in your add-on project.  Your add-on functionally should appear.
If you need to make changes to any of your add-ons, you must first deactivate the project that contains that add-on.  Deactivating a project turns off all of that project's add-ons.  To deactivate an add-on project, proceed as follows:
    1.         Enter the Project Management transaction.
    2.         Choose Deactivate project.
The system confirms that the project was deactivated.
Once the project is turned off, you can make changes to the project's add-ons or build new functionality to hook on to the other exits in the project.
    Transporting Add-on Projects
To take advantage of the exits in the R/3 System, you must create an add-on project.  This project contains at least one SAP enhancement package and all the user exits assigned to this package.  Your add-on project also holds the add-on functionality you create to hang onto the exit hooks.
When you first create an add-on project, you must assign the project to a change task.  You also need to allocate a change task number for every add-on component you develop, such as include programs, subscreens, and menu texts.  You can use the same change task number for all your project components.  If your project is spread out over more than one change task, you should assign these tasks to the same transport request.
Once you have completed your project, release your change tasks.  As a final step, release the transport request that contains all the change tasks for your project.  The system will export your add-on project and coordinate its import into a consolidation or productive system.  You must then ensure that your add-on project is active.

  • Pre-defined reports on activity

    Post Author: Jon80
    CA Forum: General Feedback
It seems that Business Objects XI provides pre-defined reports on the 'Activity' universe.  Any idea where to get documentation on this universe and where to find these reports?
One of the reports should be named 'Document Information Detail'

    Post Author: jsanzone
    CA Forum: General Feedback
    Jon,
There is a PDF you should be able to find on the BusObjects Tech Support site entitled "xir2_bip_auditor" here.
Also, as Amr pointed out, there is under your install folder a sample datbase and reports (biar) files (C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Samples).  If you install auditor after the fact, then you'll have institute both the universe and reporting capability using the import wizard.

  • How to use pre-defined scenarios for RosettaNet with XI 3.0

    Hi all.
I am working in Comgroup Shanghai co. ltd. which is partner of SAP China.
We have a potential customer who use RosettaNet as their Supply Chain EDI system.
I would like to make a demo for demostrate the pre-defined scenarios for RosettaNet RNIF 2.0 packages.
Where can I find such guideline ? I have checked the article: implementing RosettaNet with XI 3.0, but it cannot help me.
Another question is how I can develop my own scenarios for the RNIF standards which are not included in XI RosettaNet business package ?

    Hi Andy,
See the instructions below after you installed the RosettaNet STK.
Below given is the sample config for PIP3B2 Scenario. Part I is using STK and Part II is using 2 XI systems.
    <b>Part I. Test Using STK</b>
    In your XI ID:
    1) Define both the parties 1) Shipper(Your Partner) 2) Receiver(Your company) with identifiers like DUNS Number.
    2) In ID goto>Tools>Transfer Integration Scenarios from IR-->select the scenario "PIP3B2_Receiver" from the drop down list.
    3) Follow the 4 steps in the config wizard.
    4) While creating your CC, create it from the channel template delivered with the RosettaNet BP.
4.1) Specify the URL for STK which should be in the following format
    http://<STK Server>:<port>/rosettanet/servlet/listenerServlet?userId=<Party Name>
4.2)In the location fields, enter your location and your partner location.
    In your STK
    1) Start the RosettaNet STK.
    2) enter the UserID<Partner Name in XI>
    3) Select the Test Scenario, 3B2V01.01-AdvanceShipmentNotification-0001-Scenario-Shipper
    4) Enter Global Business ID(DUNS Number) and Location ID for both the partners. These fields should be same as in your R/3 Party configuration.
    5) Enter the URL as follows:
    http://<XI Server:<J2EE_Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF
If everything is configured correctly as mentioned, you should be able to test your single-action scenario.
<b>Part II Test using another XI System</b>
For these follow the steps above for XI Config.
Configure one XI System as PIP3B2 Shipper using the Scenario "PIP3B2_Shipper" and config wizard as mentioned above.
Configure the other XI as PIP3B2 Receiver using the scenario "PIP3B2_Receiver" and config wizard.
In the Url field, specify the URL as follows:
    http://<XI host>:<J2EE_Port>/MessagingSystem/receive/RNIFAdapter/RNIF
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I find the ports a pre existing program used in DAQ?

    Hi all,
I am setting up a laser displacement sensor and trying to utilize a pre existing program that was created by graduate students before me. There are 4 wires coming from the laser displacement sensor that need to be connected to the DAQ but we have no information telling us where these wires are supposed to attach to the DAQ in order to run the pre existing program correctly.
Is there any way that we could figure this out?
    Thank you for your help,
    mccutchen12c

    James,
Thank you for your help! Yes, we have looked at a couple different methods on how to tell if the information had been programmed by the previous grad students and we haven't had any success in finding that information. So I believe you are right in assuming its not documented.. We will do a better job of documenting for future grad students after us.
I have attached our code. Any insight you could give would be greatly appreciated!
We have an Acuity AR200-6 laser displacement sensor with green, yellow, black and a wire that isn't wrapped that all lead to the serial port in the back of the computer and ground. We then have white, blue, orange and brown wires that do not have a location.. We did some research and the are as follows:
    white: laser disable
    blue: buttons disable
    orange: voltage output
    brown: voltage RTN
We are starting to wonder if we are just not supposed to use the DAQ.. Can you confirm the connection is solely through a serial port?
    Cheers,
    Carley

  • Issues in creating a Pre-defined filter in Universe

    Hello Everyone,
    Here is the problem...
The idea is to have a prompt (Prompt1) to allow user select the Input type ..ie."Check Number or Invoice Number". There is the second prompt (Prompt2) which will allow user to input a value. Based on Prompt1 value, the prompt2 input should be evaluated against Check Number object or Invoice Number Object.
This is using a universe based on a BEx query.
Following useful information in the OLAP universe Best practice doc available [here] which Ingo once shared with us [on this forum], I created following pre-defined filter in my universe.
    <OPTIONAL><FILTER EXPRESSION="IIF(@Prompt('Select Input type','A',{'Check','Invoice'},mono,free)='Check', [ZFIAP_IS1___F20].[LEVEL01],[ZFIAP_IS1___F46].[LEVEL01])"><CONDITION OPERATORCONDITION="Equal"><CONSTANT TECH_NAME="@Prompt('Enter Check or Invoice Number','A',,mono,free)"/></CONDITION></FILTER></OPTIONAL>
    Where [ZFIAP_IS1___F20].[LEVEL01] = Check Number & [ZFIAP_IS1___F46].[LEVEL01] = Invoice number.
The object is parsing without errors in the universe. But when I use it in my report, the report throws an error " failed to execute with the error Invalid MDX command with " "
I took the MDX statment and tried to run/debug using MDXTEST and could never get it to work with the above objects. It was seen that the filter created in such a way is handled [Measures] object which only accepts Numeric values and not Strings. Where as my Check number and Invoice Number values are strings. The MDx statement is given below.
Has anyone experienced this issue earlier ?
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[4C46B176-CC15-DF11-92,5D,25,C2,A9,6F,0,0] AS ' IIF(Check=Check, [ZFIAP_IS1___F20].[LEVEL01],[ZFIAP_IS1___F46].[LEVEL01]) ' SELECT { [Measures].[4GQZ1D26O6QATUDY32CGL1C38] } ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY FILTER( CROSSJOIN( CROSSJOIN( CROSSJOIN( CROSSJOIN( CROSSJOIN( CROSSJOIN( [ZFIAP_IS1___F93].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS, [ZFIAP_IS1___F94].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [ZFIAP_IS1___F92].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [ZFIAP_IS1___F71].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [ZFIAP_IS1___F55].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [ZFIAP_IS1___F46].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [ZFIAP_IS1___F20].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ), [Measures].[4C46B176-CC15-DF11-92,5D,25,C2,A9,6F,0,0] = 0000041924670) DIMENSION PROPERTIES [ZFIAP_IS1___F55].[2ZCCNODE01], [ZFIAP_IS1___F55].[2ZCCNODE02], [ZFIAP_IS1___F55].[2ZCCNODE03] ON ROWS FROM [ZFIAP_IS1/QZFIAP_BOUNV2]

    Hi,
In fact, what you are requiring is feasible in Microsoft Analysis Services by defining a calculated meaure and a filter using this calculated measure.
Unfortunately, due to MDX restrictions in SAP, it is not possible to do it in universes.
I suggest that you create a range variable on Time to allow the user to only retrieve the dates needed.
You can retrieve all the dates and then apply a filter in Web Intelligence document: this solution might have the disadvantage to retrieve more data than necessary.

  • How to export multiple copies reoprts based on parameters and with pre-defined naming

    Hi All:
I have a problem of using SSRS 2012, we have multiple clients and they wanted us to deliver the pre-defined excel reports to different branches based on selecting the "branch name" parameter, also they have a naming rule for the excel
    report file.
We cannot use the subscription as they need to do it in one batch and upload to an FTP file, therefore we are doing this manually for over 300 reports. Is this a convenient way to generate them in one batch as well as customising their file names?
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Cheers
    Johnny

    Hi JohnnyKahWang,
As per my understanding, there are multiple clients, you want to deliver reports to clients according to branch name parameter, and naming the excel file according to the rule. If that is the case, we can use data-driven subscription to achieve your goal.
Reporting Services provides data-driven subscriptions so that you can customize the distribution of a report based on dynamic subscriber data. Data-driven subscriptions use query results to determine the recipients of the subscription, delivery settings,
and report parameter values. At run time, the report server runs a query to get values used for subscription settings. We can use the Create Data-driven Subscription pages to define the query and assign query values to subscription settings. For detail information,
please refer to the following steps:
      1. Open Report Manager, and locate the report for which you want to create a data-driven subscription.
      2. Hover over the report, and click the drop-down arrow.
      3. In the drop-down menu, click Manage. This opens the General properties page for the report.
      4. Select the Subscriptions tab, and then click New Data-driven Subscription.
      5. Choose a method of delivery, then select data source for the subscription.
      6. Specify a query that retrieves subscriber data like below:
    CREATE TABLE Name (
    BranchName varchar(20),
    ExcelFileName varchar(20),
    Email_to varchar(50)
    INSERT INTO Name values
    ('Branch1', 'Name1', '[email protected]'),
    ('Branch2', 'Name2', '[email protected]'),
    ('Branch3','Name3', '[email protected]');
IF we chose Windows File Share delivery extension, we can define path in the query.
      7. Specify delivery extension options like below:
      8. Specify report parameters to BranchName.
      9. Specify when the subscription is processed, then click Finish to save the configuration.
For more information about Data-driven Subscription, please refer to the following documents:
    http://msbimentalist.wordpress.com/2013/08/26/how-to-create-data-driven-subscription-in-ssrs/
If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,
    Wendy Fu
