PRE/Mac installation errors (was Please Help with PSE 12 Download)

Can anyone help with a .CPP-283 and a .CPP-683 error?

I've spen the better part of days trying to get this thing to run, to no avail. This is the only program I've tried to install in the 3 years I've had this MacBook where I've had issues......
Anyway, it was downloaded from a disk on OS 10.8.5

SQL Server Express 2008 Installation error. PLEASE HELP.

Hey guys anyone know what I should do to install SQL Server Express 2008?
Im running Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit
These are folders i got on framework folder:
    *      v3.5
    *      v3.0
    *      v2.0.50727
    *      v1.1.4322
    *      v1.0.3705
Installing SQL Server 2008 Express (run time only)
And this is the error I get during the process
"Attributes do not match. Present Attributes (Directory, Compressed), included attributes (0), excluded attributes (Archive, Compressed, Encrypted)."
I have downloaded and installed all Visual Studio 2008 SP1 Express Ed (C++, C#, VB, WebDev) and all worked well
I get this error during the "Feature Selection" setup process.
I also noticed when I tried to use Windows Update, I saw Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1 (KB968369) suddenly available (I have updated windows and installed all important updates before installing Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL). Then I used Windows Update to install SQL Server 2008 SP1 and I still got this error:
Error
Code 84B40000 Unknown error....
I also get this downloading error on SQL Server while installing all 4 Visual Studio Express Editions (C#, C++, VB, WebDev).
"The following cannot be downloaded:"
I've already tried the troubleshooting guide about BITS but the tool fix seems to only supports Windows XP Operating Systems.

I think this might have some connections to why I get errors on a simple 'Hello World' Website.
I was just trying to simply make a 'Hello World' Website .. Just THAT on my website.
A simple Website for me to start. Just showing those text on the website. But when I tried to run (debug) the program. This error shows...
'Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:5903.'
I have Build the Web Site and there was no error. Since it was just simply 'Hello World' text.
Im sure there's some problem but I'm completely stuck here. I dunno if its connected to the problem above.

In my case I had to uncheck "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties"
Right click on C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server
Click Advanced on General Tab
Uncheck "Allow files in this folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties"

After Effects CC installation error. Please Help!

Hi, I have been trying to install Adobe After Effects CC, I am using windows 7 x64, the installation only gets to 43% and then comes up with an "Installation Error - Lean More". So I click learn more and this is what appears:

Yes, I am trying to install AE Through the Creative Cloud app. And yes, I have only just installed the Creative Cloud. The exact steps I am taking are:
First I click on the "apps" tab in the Creative Cloud window, this brings up the list of available trials. Next, I click on the "Try" button next to "After Effects CC (2014)", the installation only gets to 43%. The button "Installation Failed - Learn More".
So when I click on the "Lean more" button, it shows me this error.

Toward the last section of download - I get this error message

I have tried turning my firewall/anti virus off.
Closing down all unnecessary programs & Restarted my computer.
None of this has worked.. My pc meets all the requirements for the software..Please HELP!!

If you had your firewall and virus protection on at some point when attempting to install on a previous attempt you may now have a hard time doing so even though you have now shut them off.
It was not wise to do so in the first place.
Probably the permissions have been altered and you will not be able to install these components as the directories are probably set to either no access or read only.
I do no know how one would repair the permission on PC though I believe you have to use the control panel to access each directory and change it that way. I did it onceand it work but I do not really recall what part of the control panel I had to access.
You can try create a new account and then logging into that account makeing certain the firewall and virus protection and any other protective softwae is off and the reinstalling there.
It might work.

HT2311 itunes 10.6.3 installation error! please help!

i downloaded itunes 10.6.3 from the apple website. when i run the .dmg file the installer starts and in the end it says "the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.Contact the software manufacturer for assistance". i cant update my itunes 10.1.2 to 10.6.3! i am using macbook pro 13" on snow leopard 10.6.6.
P.S- i just formatted my hdd and reinstalled OSx 10.6.6

I called the apple care tonight because I had exactly the same problems!
The lady on the phone then email me a link on how to uninstall the older version of iTunes.

Jampack Installation Error. Please help

I have a major problem , I have bought the Jam packs, 1, 2, and 3.
When i tried to install them in logic, It asks for Jampack one, so i putted it in.
When i pressed ok, It starts and stops immediately. Saying that i need to check my connection and if the files are ok.

may simply be bad disks, i had issues with Spectrasonics Omnisphere where the GUI told me files were corrupted, Spectrasonics being very cool replaced the instal disks where needed now all is well. Have you tried them on another Mac?

Your advice did not help me. I also installed 10.7.4 combo but the situation is the same.

First, be sure that the contacts on the devices are in the "icloud" section and not the "On my iPhone" (or iPad) section of the contact listings/groups.
Missing contacts:
Here's a test to perform - using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and go to the Contacts page. If most of them are gone, then they are gone.
If they show up, then the problem is that your device is not connecting to the Contacts database on icloud.
On the device, go to Settings>icloud. Be sure icloud is on and using the right ID. If not, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account - this just disconnects the device from that account, no data is lost. Then log back in using the correct ID. ALSO - be sure the Contacts are turned on (on the same screen).
Note: Contacts are not part of an iCloud backup, since they are part of contacts database on iCloud's servers. So performing a restore will not help.

Then they have been deleted. There are many reasons for this. One possibility is that someone else is using the same iCloud account (family member, etc.) and they deleted contacts, thinking they did want them on THEIR device. How to get them back? Unfortunately, an iCloud backup does not include any of the sync databases, like contacts, notes, calendars, reminders, etc. because the data is already stored in these databases. Your only hope for restoring the data is if you had that data on a computer (like a mac's Contacts, Calendars, etc.) and that data was backed up using whatever backup software you typically use (e.g. Time Machine on a mac). Just restore the data files back to the computer. Other than that, I'm afraid the data is gone.
