Pre-order album via iPhone screws up iTunes navigation

This is a very specific bug, so I'm not holding my breath for any fixes soon. But here it goes:
I pre-ordered an album through the iPhone.
Now, whenever I launch the iTunes App, it will momentarily open the correct page, and then suddenly jump over unannounced to my pre-order purchases -- presumably iTunes is checking if my preorders have been released.
This isn't that big of a deal, but it's especially annoying when using the "Get More Episodes" buttons in the iPod player. Clicking "Get More Episodes" takes me automatically to the appropriate Podcast directory, but only momentarily. It quickly automatically switches to the pre-order list. There is no direct BACK button, forcing me to start from the main Podcast screen and search my way back to my specific Podcast directory again.
I assume this will go away once my purchased album is released and I can download it, but this is making Podcast streaming a headache.
Any fixes, "me too"s, or suggestions?

If you go into the itunes store and select the Purchased Link under Quick Links
Then you can select the Album it should appear under the Music
Click the Cloud icon by the side of it and it should download at no extra cost.
In future to ensure this does not happen. Preferences, Store
Tick Download Pre-Orders when available

I would be eager to download and listen to a pre-ordered album as well. I found a couple of resources that might help with downloading this purchase.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the album does not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the album from the list of past purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the album, you will not be charged again. You can find the steps to do this in the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on a computer" in the following article:

To pre-order an item, click the Pre-order button next to the item. When the item is available for download, you receive an email notice. You aren’t charged for the item until you download it.
To download a pre-ordered item, click the link in the email notice or open iTunes and choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for pending pre-orders, choose Store > View My Account, and click Manage Pre-orders.

I have purchased a pre ordered album, however I cannot download it to any of my devices at all! I've tried using the various links given to me but nothing happens, and I've tried downloading it ion my laptop using the function 'check for available downloads' but it tells me that all my downloads are up to date!
The album came out on 15th July The Pet Shop Boys new album and I still haven't been able to get it, please help

Does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, or the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes for downloading ?

If you delete the song from your PC you can redownload it. Make sure you actually remove it from the computer, and not just from the library (select "Move to Recycle Bin" when deleting). To redownload you can go to the itunes Store->Purchased-> Download Previous Purchases. Within there you have the option to view all songs purchased, as well as all songs which are "Not In My Libraray".
If you don't feel comfortable deleting the song, you can just move copy/paste it somewhere else so that you've got it backed up in case the re-download doesn't work.

Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, it's already running the newest OS it can.
If it's an Intel Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update twice.
If you upgrade the OS, back up the computer first.

My verizon account is fine, and I am eligible for an upgrade, there is no past due balance.. the order went from being prepared to ship back to processing 2 days before it's supposed to get here.. still says it's going to deliver 9/21, yet it still stuck in processing mode, called apple for the past couple of days since i ordered it ON TIME and basically spoke to 17 different people telling me all different things and seems as if it just becomes more and more of a problem..

this what most people say, track in on UPS website using your phone number. its TRUE and better tracking info

When will the next wave of pre-orders for the iPhone 5 be shipped

Dear Apple,
I sadly had to pre-order my new iPhone 5 through AT&T last Friday morning and was told I would get the phone today and then told it would be Oct 5th. I went into a store to see what I can do and although they have plenty in stock they told me nothing and then informed me it would be late October before it shipped. I know that this has nothing to do with you but since you have wonderful customer service and knowledgable peole can you please give me an accurate date on when the next wave of pre-orders will be shipped. Thank you so much. You guys are the best.

You're not addressing Apple here, we're all users like yourself.
If you want to know when the next shipment will be, call your local store or whomever you ordered it from and ask them.

Questions About Pre-Ordering/Reserving the iPhone 4?

I know on June 15th you can pre-order/reserving an iPhone 4. I am a bit unfamiliar with the pre-ordering process.
If you can pre-order and pick it up in the stores, does that only mean it guarantees you one on launch day? Also on launch date will there be a separate lines for pre-orders and non-preorders? (So pre-orders go in the store first?)
And if you reserve the iPhone 4 in store pick-up, do you have to pay the whole thing, or just put a certain amount down?
I doubt if anyone knows this question.
What time do Apple Stores open when the new iPhone 4 comes out? I bought my iPhone 3GS last year at launch at AT&T and they opened at around 7 I think, which I read is the same this year.

rather not deal with the crazies and people, id order online and get it shipped to my front door. check with your local Apple store for business hours. i remember att opening a little earlier on launch day for the 3GS, idk about Apple though? id asume both will run it alot smoother for everyone.

if you don't have time to stand in line or don't want to risk getting there too late and leaving empty handed from the apple store preordering will guarantee you one but possibly in a slightly longer timeframe
