Pre order an apple iphone 5s in onilne store says shipping is in October but at what date
when sending the iphone 5s from Apple's website already pre ordered

Check that order status online. If it's in "Processing Items", there's still a while to wait, but you can cancel the order if you wish. If it's "Preparing for Shipment", then shipment time is near, and you can no longer cancel the item. If it's "Shipped", then you can find the expected date of arrival.

My verizon account is fine, and I am eligible for an upgrade, there is no past due balance.. the order went from being prepared to ship back to processing 2 days before it's supposed to get here.. still says it's going to deliver 9/21, yet it still stuck in processing mode, called apple for the past couple of days since i ordered it ON TIME and basically spoke to 17 different people telling me all different things and seems as if it just becomes more and more of a problem..

How does pre-ordering with Apple work?
For people who have previously pre-ordered with Apple (for an iPad or iPhone) or are familiar with their pre-order process, would you mind explaining the process to me?
In other words, will their website lag due to an overload of orders? Will everyone be guaranteed an iPhone 4 on the 15th? Is there limited availability? Will they be depleted out of iPhones if I order an hour after?
I don't care when I get it, but will I be guaranteed one on the pre-order date?
Thanks!What has happened in the past is the pre-order date is when you can place an order for the phone. You will not receive it until at least the 24th (available date). If you want to be one of the first on your block to get one, I'd recommend ordering as early as possible. You will be told the prospective "receive by" date when you order. Historically, those that order early, receive them on the available date. Of course you can also camp out at your local Apple Store (as has become an Apple tradition).
It is possible there might be a lag during the initial rush, but I doubt it. Apple has figured out how to take orders fairly efficiently -

Dear Apple,
I sadly had to pre-order my new iPhone 5 through AT&T last Friday morning and was told I would get the phone today and then told it would be Oct 5th. I went into a store to see what I can do and although they have plenty in stock they told me nothing and then informed me it would be late October before it shipped. I know that this has nothing to do with you but since you have wonderful customer service and knowledgable peole can you please give me an accurate date on when the next wave of pre-orders will be shipped. Thank you so much. You guys are the best.You're not addressing Apple here, we're all users like yourself.
If you want to know when the next shipment will be, call your local store or whomever you ordered it from and ask them. -
Questions About Pre-Ordering/Reserving the iPhone 4?
I know on June 15th you can pre-order/reserving an iPhone 4. I am a bit unfamiliar with the pre-ordering process.
If you can pre-order and pick it up in the stores, does that only mean it guarantees you one on launch day? Also on launch date will there be a separate lines for pre-orders and non-preorders? (So pre-orders go in the store first?)
And if you reserve the iPhone 4 in store pick-up, do you have to pay the whole thing, or just put a certain amount down?
I doubt if anyone knows this question.
What time do Apple Stores open when the new iPhone 4 comes out? I bought my iPhone 3GS last year at launch at AT&T and they opened at around 7 I think, which I read is the same this year.
I'd rather deal with Apple. Do they open around 7 A.M to too?rather not deal with the crazies and people, id order online and get it shipped to my front door. check with your local Apple store for business hours. i remember att opening a little earlier on launch day for the 3GS, idk about Apple though? id asume both will run it alot smoother for everyone.

It is unclear the advantage to pre-ordering the new iPhone 5. What I have read is that it will ship on the 21st if you pre-order? If so the only way to get one on the 21st is go stand in line. Please correct me if I am wrong.
if you don't have time to stand in line or don't want to risk getting there too late and leaving empty handed from the apple store preordering will guarantee you one but possibly in a slightly longer timeframe

I cancelled a pre-ordered book on my iTunes account, but in my iBooks it still says pre-ordered. The iTunes account is the same as the account on my phone. How do I get it to not be pre-ordered on my iPhone?

Why did I pay $19 for Start Trek Into Darkness pre-order, if Apple KNEW they were going to release a bundle on the release date and I could have got the other Star Trek movie for just $5 more? What the heck Apple, I feel completely ripped off.
I didn't even have time to cancel the preorder as that processed a couple minutes before the bundle was posted.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go.
