Pre-order online, can't pick-up at the store

So, I am trying to pre-order Call of Duty, and I was wondering if there's a reason why some stores say it's unavailable for in-store pick-up?

While I greatly thank you for wanting to pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops III at Best Buy, I’m sorry to hear that you may be having issues doing so!
I’ve attempted to pre-order a few of the versions for In-store Pickup and it seems to be working fine for me as well. With that said, I would suggest clearing out your browser history/cookies/cache info and possibly trying a completely different browser all together. I’m admittedly not certain what would be causing your issue, but these steps may help.

You will have to contact Apple, try the local store, and ask. I do not think that refurbished iPod are available at local stores. The may be able to ship a refurbished iPod to your local store for pickup though.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. scodaddy, that is a wonderful question. We are super excited about the new iPhone. You can always pre-order your new iPhone online and then start the mail in rebate by following this link: http://bit.ly/GGnDDC Or you can always go into the store location and do it all in store on the 19th when the phone is launched. That would depend on if the store has them in stock when you go in. I hope that this was able to address your concern.

With Grand Theft Auto 5 potentially being the biggest game of the year, I can understand your frustration at not being able to place a pre-order online.
When we state that “We are not able to verify your information” on your order, that generally means that there is some piece of information on your order that is not matching up correctly. This can be something as simple as a spelling issue, and address that is not recognized as being deliverable or possibly that the billing information on your credit card doesn’t match what is on your BestBuy.com account.
I would recommend reviewing that information and make any adjustments necessary, including trying a different credit card if necessary. If that doesn’t work, the only other option I would be able to offer would be to pre-order your copy at your local Best Buy store.

I can't seem to locate the Store menu in order to 'Authorize' my new laptop for iTunes.

I need to Authorize my new laptop (Windows 8). I can't seem to locate the Store menu in which it's indicated I should find the Authorize function. Can anyone point direct me to it?

Hello dlmpsu85,
The menu bar can be temporarirly shown by pressing and releasing the 'Alt' key on your keyboard. You can also have the menu bar shown permanently, the process for which is detailed in the following article.

I can't download apps from the store with my ipad2 anymore. It was working fine the other day. I tried signing out and back in with no luck.

I am having the same problem I enter my password it says I have to go to a website my info.apple for additional security then goes to website an get safari cannot open the page bc it could not establish a secure connection to server..... One has nothing to do with the other.
You have to pay for the phone if you did not do so online.
Must show ID and if new service you may have to pay a security deposit. Go to the store find out.

1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

Unknown error -3212. I updated to iTunes 11.4. I can no longer connect to the Store.

I updated to iTunes 11.4 when prompted. I can no longer connect to the Store. Tried all troubleshooting, checked Firewall, and my internet connection is fine. I re-downloaded iTunes and selected the "repair" radio button. Still has not resolved "unknown error occurred (-3212)". Does anyone have any other suggestions?

It sounds like you have checked your firewall settings, and your internet connection but cannot get to the iTunes Store with your iTunes application and you get this error number 3212. I would look over the troubleshooting in the following article to see what steps have yet to be done. Infact I would recommend doing the troubleshooting sequentially from top to bottom.

Upgrading to iLife shouldn't delete your iPhoto library and hopefully you have a backup to restore from just in case.
Apple recommends backing up your iPhoto library routinely > iPhoto '11: Back up your iPhoto library
Try rebuidling the iPhoto library.
Hold down the Command + Options keys then launch iPhoto.
Keep the keys held down until you are prompted to rebuild the library.
A dialog will appear with rebuild options. Select the options you want to use.
Click Rebuild to begin the rebuild process. This may take a few minutes to complete.

ITunes U Wellesley: Can I access it thru the store?

Wellesley is not listed with the other institutions on the iTunes U page of the iTunes store. Shouldn't it be? Can I access Wellesley thru the store or only thru the college's site? Thanks.

Your school has to ask to be put into that secton ... it's an application process unto itself ... it goes beyond what's necessary to get into iTunes U.
Generally speaking, if your school wants to issue you a credential to access something in iTunes U, you'll have to go through your school's website. Stuff accessible through the store is more public.
