Pre Order Purchases

I pre order Christina Aguilera Bionic CD when i had my computer. I no longer have my computer but I do however have wi-fi in my house. Is there any way I can just get the CD to download straight to my Ipod without the computer via wifi or will i need a computer regardless?????

I tried to see if I could get to the accounts page from my iPod Touch and I couldn't. I couldn't even get to the Manage Pre-Orders section. So the answer is no. You will need iTunes on a computer to download your pre-order.

  • Pre-order purchased but not downloaded; no pre-order email and purchases not on cloud. Help?

    I purchased a pre-order for an album back in September, with a release date of Oct. 29. On Oct. 29, the album was displayed as "purchased" on the iTunes Store yet it did not download. I did not receive a pre-order email and the purchase was not on the cloud.

    I have the same problem :(

  • Can't find iBooks pre-order/purchases section?

    I thought I had pre-ordered a book through iBooks, but when I access my account to verify the pre-order, I don't see anything that will allow my to view my pre-orders.  It said to click on purchases, but I don't see anything titled purchases.  The only thing even close is the puchased icon at the bottom of iBooks store and it doesn't list the pre-order.  Help!

    To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for pending pre-orders, launch iTunes on your computer, choose Store > View My Account , then sign in and click Manage Pre-orders.

  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Pre-order & Purchase

    Hi,
    The only reason I pre-ordered and purchased this game through Best Buy is that it appeared in advertisements as being part of the "$10 rewards" program. Now, I come to this site and find out that's not the case. I think this is really lame, Best Buy needs to be more responsible for their advertising whether it's in print or online. I would really like that $10 in rewards.

    Like enuf mentioned, it's my understanding that Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel! was never part of our Get $10 promotion. Do you remember where you saw this information? Was it on BestBuy.com, in our weekly ad, or on a third-party website?

    So which is it?
    Also when it says Register for 8 year warranty it says serial number.  How do I know my serial number if I have not received the product yet?  Also when is this thing being released?  I just want to make sure if I pre order I get the 8 year warranty.  I already have the gd80 but I really want this board for the warranty and the extra features.  Thanks guys.

     It seems to me you pre order and then you register it with the serial number after you receive the product to get the 8 year warranty.
    Products have to be registered within 30 days from original date of pre-order purchase to receive our limited 8 years warranty. (Products failed to register within 30 days will still receive standard 3 years warranty).
     A little extra research by you would have come up with this same little tidbit of information.

  • Just noticed a recurring pattern of not being credited my $5 pre-order deposit.

    The other day I was going over some of my Best Buy gaming purchases this year through MyBB, and noticed for one game, Project CARS on PS4, I was charged an additional $5 for the pre-order bonus (noted as "POB") which should have been free. I contacted customer support and was told I'd only be able to get a refund w. receipt in-store, and it was up to the store's discretion. As I didn't save a recipt from May, I figured it was a loss and not worth trying to make a case over $5.
    Then I noticed something else. As a Gamers Club Unlocked member, all new release $59.99 games go down to $51.35 ($47.99 + tax) when the 20% deduction is applied. When accounting for the $5 deposit to reserve an in-store pre-order, the game should work out to $46.35 after tax if the transaction is processed properly. However, going through new release game pre-orders, I noticed that almost every single game I pre-ordered for in-store pickup this year was processed incorrectly and I was charged $51.35 due to not being credited the depsoit I had already paid. I didn't realize at the time, but now it appears as if has been the case for four pre-order purchases, which when added to the $5 I was charged for the pre-order bonus, works out to a $25 total overcharge. Is there any way to try and get my money back on this at this point or no? As some of these purchases were from months ago, I don't still have the receipt and even if I did, would be past the return window (though this wouldn't be a typical return issue).

    You certainly shouldn’t be running into so many issues with pre-order deposits at your local Best Buy. I’m familiar with hiccups with these in the past, but I haven’t heard anything for quite some time now. Our systems are setup to automatically apply your $5 deposit to the final transaction when a game releases, so this leads me to believe that some of your pre-orders aren’t being fulfilled properly at the store level. I’m very sorry if this has occurred on any of your pre-orders!
    Like others have mentioned, your local store should be able to refund any pre-order deposits necessary. We also have the ability to locate previous pre-orders/receipts, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Considering the timeframe here, you may want to ask to speak with someone from your store’s leadership team as well, should you run into any issues.

  • Reward Points for pre-order $?

    I pre-ordered Sunset Overdrive the day before release and also started a new GCU membership either before or after that transaction.  I placed $5 on the game since the 20% discount for GCU wouldn't apply to until pick up so I couldn't accurately pay off the game as part of my pre-order.
    Upon picking up my copy I received the $5 off the post 20% discount (and an additional $2.50 came off from an old BB store credit I had).  My final for the game itself was $40.46.  There were a few other items on the receipt that granted some points toward my next gift card but if you add the total for my entire receipt that was paid out (not uncliding the store credit.  Instead of receiving $45.25 worth of points I received just the $40 worth of points and my original pre-order purchase it reflecting zero points earned.  Both transactions are reading as Pending still so I'm not sure if that's the problem or what.  I'm  concerned that if I had paid $40 worth of pre-order and my final pickup out of pocket cost was like $1-2 would I only have received $2 worth of points?  If so I'll never spend more than $5 for a pre-order and the victory pre-order $10 credit you want to lure us in with turns out to be $5 only.
    Just curious to if the pre-order value (when actual cash and not a trade in or trade credit) will count for points after all the transactions go from pending to final.

    Enuf is correct on both counts: it typically takes 15-20 days for points to post, and no points are earned for portions of purchases paid for using gift cards, store credit or reward certificates as payment.   • Pre-order points missing and pre-ordering problems at the store level.

    During the week of July 6th-July 12 there was an ad for pre-ordering certain movies and getting 100 bonus points for each movie.  On July 12th I pre ordered Rio 2, The Amazing Spiderman 2, and Transformers:AOE (Steelbook edition).  The employee was able to successfully pre-order Rio 2 using the provided in store pre order card but had difficultly pre ordering Spiderman 2 and Transformers.  Rio 2 and Spiderman 2 had set release dates while at that time Transformers did NOT have a release date until recently.  These pre-orders were done in three different transactions. 
    Picking up Rio 2 on 7/15 was not a problem.  The employee did an exchange in the system.  The 100 bonus points never posted.
    The Amazing Spiderman 2 had a lot of problems.  The employee thought I already bought it and picked it up on 7/12 when I went to pick it up on 8/19 (the release date).  At the time of the pre order purchase, there was no announcement of the BB exclusive Magno pack for the same price as the regular blu ray release.  Again the employee did a return/rebuy.  This employee also stated that the employee who processed the pre-orders Spiderman and Transformers did it incorrectly since it looks like she did it as a normal transaction instead of a pre-order.  The points have yet to be posted.
    Transformers: AOE (Steelbook edition) now has an official release date of 9/30.  My question is will the system allow for employee to process the pre-order pick up since it is outside of the 45 day window?  I am hoping it won't be but seeing how the employees have been processing pre-orders incorrectly when picking them up I expect problems when doing so. 
    I have also noticed a price drop for transformers (6760435) from the time I pre-ordered it on 7/12.  Will the employees be able to adjust the price and give me the difference?
    Not all stores carry the pre-order cards making this a difficult process for everyone (it takes me on average 30 minutes to pick up 1 pre-order instead of in and out within 5 mins like usual) because someone didn't do it correctly the first time.  So my question is, how should employees process a pre-order if there is NO Pre-Order card in store??  I would love to continue to pre-order at best buy, but am getting tired of having employees screw up my pre-order.

  • Pre-order album via iPhone screws up iTunes navigation

    This is a very specific bug, so I'm not holding my breath for any fixes soon. But here it goes:
    I pre-ordered an album through the iPhone.
    Now, whenever I launch the iTunes App, it will momentarily open the correct page, and then suddenly jump over unannounced to my pre-order purchases -- presumably iTunes is checking if my preorders have been released.
    This isn't that big of a deal, but it's especially annoying when using the "Get More Episodes" buttons in the iPod player. Clicking "Get More Episodes" takes me automatically to the appropriate Podcast directory, but only momentarily. It quickly automatically switches to the pre-order list. There is no direct BACK button, forcing me to start from the main Podcast screen and search my way back to my specific Podcast directory again.
    I assume this will go away once my purchased album is released and I can download it, but this is making Podcast streaming a headache.
    Any fixes, "me too"s, or suggestions?

  • Pre-ordered 4 games, haven't received the $10 reward certificates

    Last month I preordered 4 games (Little Big Planet 3, GTA V, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age) which were picked up on release (11.18).   All are supposed to come with a $10 gift card, when I picked them up they told me they should be on my rewards account after two weeks.
    I have not received them, were they supposed to issue them to me when I picked the games up?

    Bad news first, Little Big Planet 3 and Dragan Age were never part of the $10 pre-order/purchase promo so that`s why you won`t be recieving $10 certs(500 MyBB pts) for either of those titles.
    Far Cry 4 and GTAV are eligble titles and they released on 11/18 so those pts should post in 15-20 days. If they don`t show by Dec. 8-9 then bump this thread for assistance.

    Hello, I just pre ordered 3 games. Black ops 3 and Battlefront for ps4 and elder scrolls for Xbox one. My question is do I get the pre order code for black ops 3 in my email because I didn't get it on my receipt? And also when do we get the 20 percent off for the pre order games? On my receipt it still says I will 59 and some change (I put 5$ down on each game). This is my first time pre ordering at best buy and I did buy the gamers club unlocked earlier and got the bonus 10% when I traded in a game.

    Welcome to the forums and thank you for the questions!  Enuf is correct in stating that the Gamers Club Unlocked benefits would be reflected on your BestBuy.com pre-order, but wouldn't be on your in-store pre-order receipt until the date of the purchase.  
    You should receive the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta code by email usually associated with your My Best Buy account.   Please make sure to check your "Junk" or "Spam" folders and allow 24-48 hours for it to arrive.

  • HT1725 i keep trying to download purchases but nothing is happening. i click the button a million times and it won't download. i also preordered an album before i had money on my account, and i've just put money on but it won't let the pre order download.

    i am literally fuming over this.
    First off. i purchased an album for preorder when i didnt have money in my account.
    now i have money in my account and it wont fricking download. ive tried turning on automatic pre orders i've signed in and out ive done all that crap and it still just says purchased.
    second, i can't download ANYTHING to itunes. i JUST purchased two new songs and it will not download them to itunes. i keep clicking on the little fricking cloud button but nothing happens. if itunes just took my money and wont give me my songs i am going to freak out someone please help me

    Are you logged into her iTunes account using her Apple ID on the iPad? Settings>Store>Apple ID?
    If you are, you could try restarting the iPad and try again, maybe that will reset everything - and maybe it won't. But, if you continue to get the message about contacting support, there may be a red flag that came up somewhere along the line - and the only way to resolve it may be to contact iTunes Support.
