Pre-ordered single not downloading...

I pre-order McBUSTED's version of Love is on the Radio, but it will not download, and i have tried to sign out, sign back in, i can't find the 'Report a Problem' button on my phone and i just really want the song now

Download a pre-ordered item
When a pre-ordered item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download your pre-order.
If you enabled the option to automatically download prepurchased content in iTunes, then your pre-ordered content may already be in your library. If not, click the download link provided in your email notification, and your pre-ordered content will begin to download. You can also use the Check for Available Downloads feature in iTunes on your computer (choose Store > Check for Available Downloads) to begin downloading your pre-order.

Gwen Stefani Pre-Order offers to download a single track now and then the rest later when the album is released.
Ordered the pre-order but the track didnt download.
Now on my THIRD reply to try and get apple support to understand what is happening, so far I have a one track credit and told to download the song...only problem...its a pre-order you cannot download the song.

Maybe as this is the international version someone lazily copied the US version of the page and didnt notice that bit of text with the promise and therefore it was never setup in the UK store or elsewhere?

HT5714 Pre-Orders are not downloading for days at a time?

I have received the email stating that my Pre-Order is ready for download, so went and did the 'Check for Available Downloads' and nothing, restarted iTunes and checked again and nothing, now it's the next day and still NOTHING??
The movie I'm referring to is the new "Hansel and Gretel: Which Hunters (2013)"

Only just now I decided to try something else and so went into iTunes, then the iTunes Store and selected 'Account' in the Quick Links menu on the right-hand side, it popped up and asked me to re-login, so I did and low and behold I got a pop-up message stating that I had pre-orders ready for download and if I wished to download them now to click "Ok", so I did and my stalled pre-orders came to life and started downloading... wish Apple could improve on this but now I'm happier they're downloading

Free Pre-Order Singles not included on the Album once released

Hi there,
I've had the following issue on a few albums I've purchased after already having the single. Most recently is P!nk's new album 'The Truth About Love' offered a free single of 'Blow Me (Once Last Kiss)' if you pre-ordered it. When the full album was released it skips giving the single and show's it like it's not even part of the album. This is easily fixable in iTunes however I use Match and the Cloud for my music on my devices and it still shows like it's only a single and not part of the album essencially discluding it from a continuous playback of the album the way the artist intended. I believe this is in the system as a way not to aquire duplicates but I would prefer it the other way round since having a duplicate is better than having an 'incomplete' album according to my phone and other devices even though I have the song in it's single format.
Apple please fix. In the mean time is there a way to fix this in the Cloud/Match? Thank you.

I had the exact same issue this week for a Pre-order album as well. I would recommend canceling the Pre-order and download it again as you mentioned it has not been charged. This article will walk you though the process.

My pre-order is not downloading

So, Kendrick Lamars album got dropped sooner than everyone was expecting, because interscope made an error with it or something. I pre-ordered the album, and now everyone is saying how good it is, the lyrics are out and everything, but its not downloading for me... Its probably something to do with the fact it got released in error, I don't know but I just want to make sure that it comes to me and that I am charged for all the songs, because so far I'm pretty sure I've only been charged for the single when I preordered it
In the store it says all the songs are purchased but it doesn't let me play them, and in the music app its showing me the complete my album option, I tried that, but it didn't work, but it shows all the songs and their prices like I didn't buy them yet... Will that mess up the fact I pre-ordered it? How do I know I'm not being undercharged? I don't know, thanks for reading, please help, hahaha.
Nevermind, sorry, it worked itself out somehow, I don't know how to delete this lol...

i got up this morning to download this album, i breaked from work to download this album, i am working during my lunch trying to download this album, this is a load of crap. you have to be kidding me that bands are setting up these preorders and having these relationships with itunes so that their fans can get ripped off. hopefully by the end of the day i'll get my delayed e-mail. maybe by then the guy who has to click a button can finish his slurpee and pork rinds.

Pre-order will not download

I pre-ordered Natasha Bedingfield's new album a week or so ago and got the email to download it. When I went to get it, it said that the item was no longer available. I even canceled and tried to buy it again, but now it won't let me pre-order again. How can I get my pre-order?

I also pre-ordered Natasha Bedingfield's new album, "Pocketful of Sunshine" and received the e-mail to download it and it said that this album is not available anymore. So I also decided to cancel it and try to preoder the album again and I receive the same message: "The album you tried to buy is no longer available." What should I do...I know that her album comes out today, which means the preorder will be gone soon, but I was really hoping to download the bonus songs...let me know what I should do, and how to get my pre-order back.

Pre order has not download

I pre ordered Love is on the radio by Mcfly it came out on 24th November but it has never downloaded on any of my devices. I have been on Itunes and checked for downloads but it says there are no downloads. on the store it just says purchased and I have no idea how to actually download it!

I am having the same issue. I pre-ordered a book (I can see the pre-order in my Purchased History) and I did not get an email and it did not auto download but when I go to the store, I can buy it.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

If you are on a EDGE plan, can you pre order the Note 4 or do you have to actually go to the store to get the Note 4?

Im on a EDGE plan with my S5, i want to pre order the Note 4 but doesnt seem like i can via the website, do i need to go into the store once the phone is released to EDGE up to the new Note 4?

you can pre order the note 4 if your on edge, however you will need to pay whatever you need to pay to get you to edge up eligibilty

Pre-Order single won't sort correctly once album downloads

I pre-ordered Ryan Adams "Easy Tiger" and got the single "Two" immediately downloaded. When I downloaded the rest of the album today, it did not re-download the single with the rest of the album. When I tried to fix the sorting issue by changing the info fields (album name, track number of X, etc) nothing worked. Itunes and my Ipod still put this song at the end of my album. This drives me nuts. Any help?

I'm having the exact same problem with the exact same album - Ryan Adams / Easy Tiger, and the single Two.
I have noticed that the album tracks are marked Explicit, while the single is not, but that's the only difference I can see.
Like jtrieb I've tried changing the album name and fixing the track number to be 2 of 12 to fit in with the rest, as well as sorting by track number and then album, to no avail. It insists on remaining at the bottom of the list.
Note that I'm not using iTunes for Windows (found this thread via search), but iTunes for Mac OS X.

My pre-order has not & will not download.

I pre-ordered an album awhile ago and have yet to receive it. Everytime I try to download it, i-tunes either says that all my music has already been doenloaded or that it is no longer available in my area. It's really starting to tick me off & I don't know what to do about it. It really makes me not want to pre-order anything from i-tunes anymore. I want the album and what was promised if you pre-order the album. I keep trying to use the help & the contact us on i-tunes but it just keeps sending me around in circles. I hate that when you try to contact i-tunes online, all they seem to do is run you around in a big circle over and over and over and over again. It's really annoying and frustrating. Receiving pre-ordered games on release day is seriously important to many gamers. Best Buy wants to ensure their customers get their hands on the latest games as quickly as possible. That being said, we ship the games as soon as we can to get the games to our customers as close to release date as possible. HT1209 Pre-ordered albums not showing in "Purchases" after delivery

Hi
I recently purchased two albums on iTunes on my iPhone that were pre-ordered by a few days. On the release date I was duly notified and dowloaded them to my phone successfully.
Today I am trying to download them to my iMac but they don't appear in my "Purchases" list. Other items I have ordered which were not pre-orders are all there in the list OK.
Any suggestions?
