Pre-ordering Macbook Pro with Norwegian keyboard for US pickup - possible??

If I pre-order/pre-pay a new Macbook Pro (Retina) for pickup in the US, is it possible to get it fitted with a norwegian keyboard? When buying online I only see the options for English, Spanish and French keyboards.

Well, there not really any way I can in direct contact with them without calling them, which is not an option for me where I'm currently based. The potential pick-up stores themselves do not have emails listed on their page either..
Is there any official helpline from apple which is email-based??

I'm a university student majoring in Japanese and I have been trying to order a Macbook Pro with a Japanese keyboard.
Apple.com seems to let you order a Macbook in a number of different languages but Apple.ca only gives English and Canadian French.
Would anyone know if Apple.ca is planning to offer the same?

I recommend you call into the online store and ask for further assistance. I know that I can't order every type of keyboard layout from the online store but a good friend of mine was in a very similar situation and the people over the phone were able to arrange the custom order.

Order MacBook Pro with different Keyboard

Hey Guys,
Since i will stay in Hong Kong for some weeks, I am planning of buying me a new MacBook Pro 13-inch at the Apple Hong Kong Education Store.
My Question:
1) Is it possible to deliver it with a german keyboard instead of an english one? I see no adequate option during the order process. Does it cost some extra bugs?
2) Can i use the Education Store in Hong Kong even though i am a german student with a german Certificate of Study?

In earlier years you can go th an Apple Store, buy a Macbook Pro and ask for a replacement to a other type of keyboard. I do this 2-3 times in the last years for german keyboards. If you done this on the same day you bought the macbook, the replacement happened without charge anything. It was a great service.
Yesterday i go back to the same store like before and both - the sales representative and the guys an the GeniusBar told me - that this is not offered by Apple anymore. Because the US Apple Online Store do not offer other Keyboards the US-based keyboards and the German Apple Online Store do not deliver to other countries the final conglusion from the Apple Stuff was:
Flight to germany, but it over their.
I see here in the Support community a lot of questions about norwegian, german and other kind of keyboards they want to buy in the US. Their is obviously a need for this. And from the logistic standpoint, it should be easy for Apple to offer that in the Online Stores itself.
For me the conglusaion is: I stay with my old Macbook Pro and hope i need no replacement within the next years. To order it in germany, ship it to a friend, pay taxes twice (in germany and vur customers) plus shipment, make it to expensive (bottonline: 600-800$ more than buy it in the US) make no sense to me.

You might try calling an Apple retail store and ask if they can get one for you.

What kind of problem that make me can not ask the store directly? Even me, I couldn't imagine the reason but I'm surprised how your doubt come. Actually, whatever I think it's my privacy.
Anyway, I tried finding inquiry form or customer support email on the Hong Kong online store page but I couldn't find anything. I think if there're anyone got an experience about this here, no matter he/she will work for retail store/Apple store or not. (or only store representator can answer this question?) The opinion could be varity from the people, I think. But it looks like I just answer from this community representator. No one have more idea or think different.

I believe that if you want an Arabic keyboard, you have to purchase your computer from a store outside the US which serves Arabic countries. Your other choice is to use skins on top of a regular keyboard. But, ask an Apple store in the US, or call Apple to verify. You most likely won't find such in stock in any Apple store in the US.

MacBook Pro with Swiss keyboard in US Stores

I am looking for a MacBook Pro with a swiss keyboard layout. I know that the Store in Switzerland is selling such laptops, however they don't deliever to US. Since the MBPs are produced at the same location, there is only an Apple "internal"-ordering issue, which needs to be addressed to solve my problem.
Does anyone knows if this is possible? I mean you can order Norwegian keyboards in the US store besides many other layouts.

I don't think there is any way to get that in the US. An alternative would be to use skins or keyboard stickers.

Im going to America in two weeks and I want to buy a Macbook Pro; But because I'm british I don't want an American keyboard. Is it possible to reserve one online in advance (With the british keyboard) then pick it up a couple of days later? or can you not get a macbook pro with retina display with the UK keyboard in America? If you go to the Apple Online Store, link at the top of this page, you might be able to configure it with a English keyboard and then have it sent to a USA local store for pickup. Not sure that soomething you have to check for yourself.
