Pre-packaged BPF's?

Hello all,
I have recently completed a Microsoft BPC 7.0 installation, I keep finding information from SAP on pre-packaged Business Process Flows but the only BPF available on a clean install for me seems to be the 'Bugeting Process'. Am I missing something or should there be pre-created Business flows or do you have to create each BPF from scratch?

Tpowa, are there any things in there that require dependencies updated on the base system? I would like to make those shared across gnome 2.9 beta and kde 3.4 beta, since both are releasing final versions at about the same time (gnome will have API freeze next week, only a few weeks until first betas arrive, etc, you know the drill).
It would be nice if experimental users could test both at the same time. Gnome currently doesn't build anything against KDE stuff, but gnome requires some things in the rest of arch to be updated and added. I don't think that's different for KDE too.
I keep all my changes in CVS at http://jgc.homeip.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi , which is down at this moment until wednesday when I come home from Norway to fix my server.

In my view the very first thing to observe is if there is any
licence implication by doing so as I believe it was designed to run on top of
HyperV. Technically it is possible to do it. But the licence check should come
first. I don’t know the answer for the licence implication.

We currently have three pre-packaged demo version available with slightly different favours. We are evaluating which ones we want to maintain currently and currently all 3 are at SP4 levels. So a questions back to you would be, if the Hyper-V image was dropped, would the Windows 64 bit version still work for you?

Missing pre-packaged classes?

Hello all,
Perhaps this is because i am running the trial version, but i
seem to be missing assorted classes which should have been loaded
on my computer when i installed Flash CS3 Professional. Most
immediately important to me are the missing
fl.controls classes. When i try to import the class
(specifically
fl.controls.Button) i get the following compile error.
1172: Definition fl.controls:Button could not be found.
When i went an looked on my computer for this class i could
not locate it. My
ActionScript 3.0\Classes\fl
directory lacks a
controls folder, among other things which (according to the
class directory in the left pane of my actions tab) should be
present.
Is this just due to it being a trial version? If so please
forgive my ignorance. If not, how do i remedy this issue?

That's because it's probably part of a new package. Check the
AS 2.0 Migration tables in the help files. A lot of things have
either been deleted or moved to other areas.

Manually kick off a single pre-packaged ETL?

Hi everyone,
Hopefully this is an easy question to answer. I want to run certain ETLs manually via the Workflow Manager. But when I do so, they fail with the 'can't find parameter file' error.
Is there a way I can easily just kick off one of these ETLs for testing purposes?

Pre sales question about Mac Pro

Yes, I know I should ask this to Apple's sales department, but I'd rather ask users of this computer first.
I am aware that all MP come with the Intel Xeon 64-bit chip, but what I need to know is, does that mean I could run the 64-bit version of Windows Vista then too?
Also, any 'hidden problems' with this computer, such as graphic card lockups (like in the iMac) or any other problems that I should be aware of?

The 64-bit version of Vista requires the drivers to be authorized and approved by Microsoft before Vista will allow you to install them. If the drivers you are trying to install have not been OK'd by Microsoft (and are on their trusted list), you can not install them. Vista will point blank refuse.
I tried a Vista 64-bit install (not on my Macs). The motherboard & graphics card came with 64-bit drivers etc so all worked fine, until I wanted my peripherals to install, some manufacturers did have 64-bit drivers, the majority however didn't, so reformat and back to 32-bit Vista on that machine. That is why it is the 32-bit OEM version of Vista that is pre-installed on computers out there than the 64-bit version. (Only the Ultimate* version of Vista comes pre-packaged with both the 32 & 64-bit discs you need, all other versions are 32-bit with a link to a web site address to order the 64-bit disc from Microsoft for the cost of postage).
* I think that in itself says everything, when most people will be buying a non Ultimate version.
Now that I have installed Leopard on a stand alone machine I have a side by side comparison between both OS's and Leopard wins, hands down. Vista looks so, well. . . antiquated by comparison.
As for Mac Pro's, I have the nVidia Quadro FX 4500 in my Mac Pro and it runs beautifully. Combine that with Leopard and I am one happy bunny :o) boing boing

Flash to air package question

Hi folks,
I hope someone can help point me in the right direction. I have a flash application that one menu pulls in through links, mutiple swfs. So if I wanted to package this, from what I see I can use air and create the swf files as dependencies (I think it's called). Now my question: i've read that you can use an update feature for air, but if I push an auto-update, can I only update some of the dependencies in the library? So if I have the menu and update 1 swf file, can I create an update that only updates that one file in the air app, or does the user have to download the whole rebuilt air app? Hope this makes sense.

This updater service is primarily for the AIR runtime.
Dependencies are nothing more than pre-packaged files in your AIR app. In fact, to lessen the burden, what I ended up doing was removed my dependencies from being embedded in the installer/app overall. Once the app was first started it does an integrity check and assures it has the dependencies needed to run. If not, it downloads them. A version check is also a part of that.
The AIR runtime updater will keep the users AIR runtime up to date. Your app should provide its own mechanism for updating other required assets.
Many larger applications (>500mb) do this quite frequently these days. Either an update is compressed in a single package and extracted/deployed after a stub installer is downloaded, or a file patch/check is done one by one. Both very common on large games.
I'd recommend slimming that stub installer down the minimum and using your own updater system along with the AIR framework updater. There's no need to recreate your entire app while making users redownload it all for a simple dependency.

Pre Bankruptcy FICO Steps?

I made research about Change Data Capture and I try to implement it between two databases for two small tables in 10g release 2.MY CDC implementation uses archive logs to replicate data.
Change Data Capture Mode Asynchronous autolog archive mode..It works correctly( except for ddl).Now I have some questions about CDC implementation for large tables.
I have one senario to implement but I do not find exactly how can I do it correctly.
I have one table (name test) that consists of 100 000 000 rows , everyday 1 000 000 transections occurs on this table and I archive the old
data more than one year manually.This table is in the source db.I want to replicate this table by using Change Data Capture to other stage database.
There are some questions about my senario in the following.
1.How can I make the first load operations? (test table has 100 000 000 rows in the source db)
2.In CDC, it uses change table (name test_ch) it consists of extra rows related to opearations for stage table.But, I need the orjinal table (name test) for applicaton works in stage database.How can I move the data from change table (test_ch) to orjinal table (name test) in stage database? (I don't prefer to use view for test table)
3.How can I remove some data from change table(name test_ch) in stage db?It cause problem or not?
4.There is a way to replicate ddl operations between two database?
5. How can I find the last applied log on stage db in CDC?How can I find archive gap between source db and stage db?
6.How can I make the maintanence of change tables in stage db?

Asynchronous CDC uses Streams to generate the change records. Basically, it is a pre-packaged DML Handler that converts the changes into inserts into the change table. You indicated that you want the changes to be written to the original table, which is the default behavior of Streams replication. That is why I recommended that you use Streams directly.

Yes, it is possible to capture changes from a production redo/archive log at another database. This capability is called "downstream" capture in the Streams manuals. You can configure this capability using the MAINTAIN_* procedures in DBMS_STREAMS_ADM package (where * is one of TABLES, SCHEMAS, or GLOBAL depending on the granularity of change capture).

A couple of tips for using these procedures for downstream capture:
 1) Don't forget to set up log shipping to the downstream capture database. Log shipping is setup exactly the same way for Streams as for Data Guard. Instructions can be found in the Streams Replication Administrator's Guide. This configuration has probably already been done as part of your initial CDC setup.
 2) Run the command at the database that will perform the downstream capture. This database can also be the destination (or target) database where the changes are to be applied.
 3) Explicitly define the parameters capture_queue_name and apply_queue_name to be the same queue name. Example:
 capture_queue_name=>'STRMADMIN.STREAMS_QUEUE'
 apply_queue_name=>'STRMADMIN.STREAMS_QUEUE'

B-channel oos and protocol error 510

Dear all,
I have some some issue couple of days ago. The telephony system of my client worked well and suddenly the cannot make external calls via E1. I checked the config and for me it seems to be ok. When I checked the SDL file, I can see the B channel out of service error message following by the
"MGCP PROTOCOL ERROR: <S1/SU1/DS1-0/[email protected]> CRCX error code: 510". They have A CUCM 6.0 and Cisco 2821 as gateway with 12.4 (25f) advance IP service IOS.
I perform the following actions without success:
-From the CUCM in the advance service I forced the Bchannel to bring it in service,
- no mgcp/mgcp, -reboot the CUCM and the Gateway,
-reset the controller throug CUCM,... in vain.
They contacted telco and has confirm that everything seems to be ok. Find below the information that can help you to undestand better

Help with ImageIcon

I'm giving Java another try and I'm working through the short courses and Magercises. I'm having a problem with the code below.

The problem is that the icons don't appear. The image files (bee.gif and dog.gif) are in the same directory as the source file. I get no errors, the images just do not appear in the button like they are supposed to according to the example. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem with ONE STUDIO 4 trying the example below ... the image is in the same directory as the class is and it�s ok ... it only work fine if I set the full absolute path, but not with a relative one ....
But I tryed the same example in the same dir with Jbuider 3 ... and it works fine and the ImageIcon appears .... I think it�s something related to Filesystems in the Studio One ....

put the gifs in

c:\java-ide\sampledir\examples\myapps\test.
I've placed the gifs in c:\java-ide,
c:\java-ide\sampledir, c:\java-ide\sampledir\examples,
etc. (all directories) and nothing shows the gifs in
the buttons. Any ideas?
