Pre-Printed Invoice Smartform Pagebreak

Hi,
I have designed the smartform as per the client Requirement ie in a Pre-Printed Format.The Pre-printed format contains the header and Footer, header contains Plant address and Footer contains the Privacy Policy.Every thing works fine...
I have to display 2 tables on relted to SD module and the Other Related to MM I have retrived these Details and are working Fine and after this ie at last before the Footer I have to display the Terms and Conditions. The Print format is Dotmatrix and it takes the carbon copies(4) of Invoices
But My Prob is how to get the Page break in the Preprinted Smartform for the Second Table if it has many records to be continued to Print in the next page (I have declared in My page as NExt page as Page1 itself). I dont know how many records the tables have to be displayed ,it will be dynamic..
Could u suggest me in this....

Pre Printed Invoice

We are currently in the analysis phase to the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp3 for a society in Ecuador, and I know that this situation happens in Venezuela too. The laws require that the invoices and delivery notes must be pre-printed by a printer approved by the Internal Revenue Service, giving them the document number for each one.
How can we do, with the invoice number, when the items have sold cover more than one sheet?
Can we use the following pre-numbered invoice to continue printing?
What is the reference number of the invoice, the first number or the second one?

I understand all paper sheets are provided by an Authority andonly these can be used with the approved printers.
I am confused about one thing:
- I can imagine how much every single company is wasting of paper, what about these sheets that are wasted because of paper jams in the printer for example? Do you report on these?
As for the problem printing, every 15 items coming on 1 sheet, in my opinion you don't have to make 4 sales orders, neither you need to split the order into smaller deliveries 15 items max. What I suggest is just redesign the output proces of the delivery ( same for billing ) is that you
1. number your pages as 1 of 4, 2 of 4, ...
2. repeat the header details of your document on each sheet like: Date, document number, customer, ...
3. the items number will continue as normal on each sheet
I think (my opinion) this way, whatever the paper sheet number is, it always links back to the document stored in SAP.

Print Invoice Header Text In Main Window of Smartforms

Helo Gurus !!!
I want to print Invoice header text in main window of smartform.
There are total 5 columns.
Item Quantity Description UnitPrice Amount
Now what I want is to print header text below Description column, there is a loop on the table in main window.
This header text will be printed only once. This is a standard header text
How to get this?

So please use TABLE instead of LOOP in the table we can prin header, main area, footer.
place the header text in header area in table... i am sure this can resolve it.....

Printing double line / small box residing in main box - Invoice smartform

Hi,
I have 2 Invoice smartforms, meant for Country_A and Country_B. We r on ECC 6.00
Country_A is printing fine.
But, when comes to Country_B, in ITEM table, the header box, (where column labels are printed), one more box is printing!! it looks like (not exactly) instead of single line ________ its printing ======, so, pls. let me know, Wht culd be the reason?

Bill to party address printing in standard invoice smartform

    I am trying to modify the standard invoice smartform as per client requirement.In the payment window, i deleted the fields which are not necessary and I have to print bIll to party address in payment information window. I wrote the code like this in program lines.
CLEAR GS_HD_ADR.
get customer adress number
READ TABLE IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_ADR INTO GS_HD_ADR
WITH KEY BIL_NUMBER = IS_BIL_INVOICE-HD_GEN-BIL_NUMBER
              partn_role = 'RE'.
ADRNR = GS_HD_ADR-ADDR_NO.
DATA : IT_ADRC TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF ADRC with header line
       WA_ADRC like line of it_ADRC.
SELECT * FROM ADRC INTO TABLE IT_ADRC
WHERE ADdrnumber = GS_HD_ADR-ADDR_NO.
read table IT_ADRC INTO WA_ADRC index 1.
Next I Created one text node and I inserted fields like
&wa_adrc-name1&
&wa_adrc-street&.
In SE16 , data is there for name1 and street fields of ADRC table. when I am trying to activate the form , iam getting warning message as field&wa_adrc-name1& has no defined value. In the output, data is not displayed for bill to party address. Please tell me the solution.

SMARTFORM Printing: Invoice header company name does not appear

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with the invoice SMARTFORMS whereas when the invoice exceeds more than 1 page, the company name at the left topmost part of the form doesn't appear. The window that contains this should only appear in the first page and when I'm printing an invoice of more than 1 page, the company name doesn't appear in the print-out.
Any idea what would be the problem? or how to resolve this? Thanks in advance

Thanks for taking time to help on this. Yes indeed it is appearing on the first page only. The problem is that the text element that contains the company name in that window doesn't appear if the invoice exceeds 1 page.
Let say if the invoice to be printed has 2 pages then the company name doesn't appear.
But if there's only 1 page to be printed, the company name appears.
No condition specified in the text element nor in window.

Smartforms- Printing Invoices example

Hi All,
I am trying to print invoices.
In Form_interfaces I have IM_T_VBRK type TAB_VBRK and in global definitions T_VBRK type VBRK.
I created a Billing window and a 'Loop' under that with required conditions. Further, Under the loop created 'Text' which will display the fields. However, When I run the smartform nothing is displayed in the Billing window.

As the contents in the Internal table when displayed in a window can flow to next page include the Loop in Main Window or Use Table instead of Loop and text.

Print layout in case of pre printed continous stationery

Dear Experts,
I have one query related to print layout designing.The issue is the PLD is set for an Invoice in the pre printed stationery & the printer out is take using continuous stationery the problem which i have faced is 1 page is printed properly but for 2nd page the print again starts from top so again the user have to do manual setting & print the 2nd page.

It is too difficult to handle the print on pre printed continuous stationery by PLD. PLD is a very basic tool. You may only get it work by endless try and error to see.

Printing Invoices using T VF03

Hi
I am trying to print invoices using Vf03. I can print most of the invoices (or the numbers that they gave me) but two.
When I enter the number for one of those two and tell it to print from the menu it says on the bottom "output could not be issues"
And if I double click on the error message, it opens up an window saying what might have cuassed the error, but not in detail.
This is what it says
"Output could not be issued
Message no. VF304
Diagnosis
An error occurred while output was being issued. It is possible, for example, that the form to be issued has not been activated or has an error. An error may also have arisen while the data to be issued was being edited.
Procedure
Check possible causes of the problem.
Now it prints othe invoices but these two. These are old invoices and needed to be reprinted.

HI,
Please check the text elements in the smartform.
I mean there will be no error in the form but there may be some problems in the text elements. That too it will be while printing
For eg: if there are three text elements but you have only 2 Boxes to print it ( take it in Main window )
So if for some instances if all the three text elements are getting printed, then it will definitely give you an error like Output cannot be issued.
So you need to confirm these kind of errors also in the form. This will come into picture depending on the data what you are printing in the form.
So please check the othe data which is getting printed with the data which is not getting printed.
When ever " Output not issued ", Please check the text elements mostly. This means it is not finding proper place to print the data.
Some times in a row there will 2 columns. IF you pass 3 rows, then it will be definitely an error.
This is what i faced in 4.6 C Version.
Mostly In higer versions you can have the line and column number in the Text elements when you put them in Templates.

Printing Invoice Dot Matrix Printer in the paper size 9.5 x 11 inches

Am using Pre-printed Stationery but I have a problem with printing configuration for AR Invoice through Dot Matrix Printer in paper size 9.5 x 11 inches, when command to print the first page it print perfect but the continuation is not start on the body of the contents but it start from the header of the pre-printed stationery any one with experience on this please share with me.

Have you customized PLD according to paper size ?
Check whether you customized fields in start of report area ? If yes then it will be printed
only on first page.
Check for printer supported by B1 in below link

We have a requirement from our client that we need to trigger a mail of invoice smartform in PDF format on saving in VF01.
Can any body suggest the steps in NACE and also output..

As per your post, I understood that,
After saving Invoice , automatically Invoice has to send in PDF format to the respective email id maintained in CMR-Payer master
if yes, this involves ABAP & BASIS ,
ABAP- Program & FOrm routine has to created & assigned in respective output type & type-PDF (Check in NACE- Output type)
for this, you need to maintain the Condition record- VV31 - with medium as "Mail" -
or else,
you can do this manually also, in VF31- you can give a print & save in PDF format- you can send it - but its complete manual process.

Smart form Driver Prog For Printing Invoice Lists

IN the report builder itis working fine.for exp : 2invoices menas itis coming tin 2 different pages.
In Apps itis not printing in 2 different pages.1st invoices is printing and at the bottom 2nd invoice will start.but i have given page breakup.even thought itis not working.Can any one help in this issue.

This type of problem I faced in Cheque printing on Preprinted , even placing page break it is not working in APPS, bcs when we run the report in APPS it uses it's printer layout setup from UNIX commands one, secondly you set your one page with maximum size and after that place any character co finish the page completely.

Duplex printing for smartform

Hi,
You can select Duplex printing in th epage properties of a page (D = Duplex)
The printer STARTS duplex printing from that page. This means that the printer triggers a pagefeed on that exact moment and starts printing on a new page. So when you have 1 page that stretches over more that one sheet of paper this means trouble. after every page the flow of the program starts a new Duplex print (thus feeding the current sheet and starts at a new page) this results in a new sheet of paper every page. this is not what you want.
You can solve this by creating 2 pages and set their respective NEXT PAGE to each other. Page 1 you set to DUplex, pagae 2 you leave blank..
But notice that when you select duplex printing most (if not all) printers start printing on the backside of the paper. When you use pre-printed (logo) paper, you will find that it prints the front on the back etc.
This can sometimes be corrected (if needed) by sending prescribe commands to the printer directly.
