Pre-setting radio stations to Zen Touch rem

I've been trying to work this out for a while, but I can't seem to pre-set numerous stations onto the remote. I can only seem to pre-set one station. Anybody know how to do this?

Find an empty preset by pressing the 'Preset +' button (i.e. Play). Scan into the radio station you want to preset, then hit save on the top of the remote. then press the 'Preset +' button again until you find another empty preset and do the same.
Hope that helps!

  • Listening to Favorite AM radio station on ipod touch

Tried to listen to one last night, kept getting an error message regarding too many pop ups or something, any help appreciated.......Avi

Most radio stations websites use flash and the Touch does not have flash yet.
Someone above mentioned FlyTunes, it's a pretty good alternative but just know that most of the programming on there is old such as Loveline and Stern. The music channels are nice to listen to.

  • I Tunes Radio Stations and Ipod Touch

Hello Folks: Can the Ipod Touch play the iTunes radio stations like my MacBook can? I really enjoy that feature of iTunes.
    Thanks,

no, the ipod touch does not support streaming music online, or internet radio. But you can look at this

  • How do you set radio station favorites?

AppleTV (2nd gen) seems to have set up one station as a Favorite on its own, probably based on my repeated listening.
Is there a manual method of identfying radio station Favorites?

Hold down the select button on the remote and an option should pop up for the current station.

  • Zen Touch Rem

    Hi
It would appear that Creative (bless 'em) have now killed off the wired remote for the Zen Touch and other older players.
Now my problem is that my remote has ceased working properly (loss of signal / distortion to the headphones) and is long out of warranty. There's obviously a bad connection at the player end of the cable, but having taken it apart it does not look at all user servicable.
So, do I have any alternati've to paying ?70 on ebay for a non-guaranteed replacement?
I'm really annoyed with Creative over this, since the remote's a good piece of kit when it's working properly.
    Thanks for any help.

Have you asked Creative whether they can repair it's

  • Radio Station Favorites Add/Remove

    All,
I am enjoying the internet radio very much, but I have one question. How do you remove a "favorite" radio station once you have chosen it? I get the list always at the top of my internet radio choices and selected a few in-correct options. I dont see anyway to remove a favorite once you have added it

Is it no longer possible to add your own radio stream URLs to the Apple TV? On the first Apple TV, if you had added a custom audio stream in iTunes (using Ctrl+U) and placed it in a playlist, it would be playable on the Apple TV. And in the most recent Apple TV 1st gen software updates, there was an option to select radio stations from your iTunes playlists above the list of pre-loaded radio stations. Is this gone now, or am I just missing it?

  • Artist radio stations vs regular playlists

I'm just wondering which has more variety?  I have some favorite playlists, but a lot of the never get updated, so even on shuffle, I end up hearing many of the same songs over and over.  I've been playing around with the "radio stations" lately where I just type in an artist, and it play songs by them and similar bands.  Is this the best option if I want variety?  I find the pre-made radio stations pretty lacking, and there's not enough of them.

This has to be a bug Peter, right?  I had Pandora for many....many years.  There were times that I would get 5-10 songs in a row from the same genre.  Did I like it, no.  But it is bound to happen.  But when we are talking 40-50 consecutive songs from the same genre, this can't be right.  At this point I have created at least 4 seperate playlists with varying number of tracks.  I have created 2 on the windows client, 1 on the web player, and 1 on my android device.  All have had the exact same issues.  Each one of them only plays 1 genre of music.
I love spotify!  I played around with grooveshark, google music, beats, slacker.  I have been extremely impressed with everything I have seen with spotify.  It really is an amazing product!  I was disappointed when there wasn't a "quick mix" of sorts.  As soon as I saw you could create a station based upon a playlist I thought "Problem solved!".  Without this critical feature working, I don't know how I could possibly stick with spotify =(

  • Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock? I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on and start playing that Radio Station from Sleep mode at spec

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

How do I remove an unwanted toolbar?  I added a radio station to my ibook and it set up its own toolbar so when I go to Safari I have to use it.  It involves using Bing for everything as well.  It's very annoying and I want to remove it.  I can't just type in a URL and have it go to the site.  It takes me to all of Bing's choices.  Also, when it anticipates what I'm typing (incorrectly) and I have to delete it's guesses all the time.  Can anyone help?

Have you looked at Safari's menu bar > view> toolbars to see if it can be unchecked from there, also see if there is a button to collapse the toolbar on the bar itself.

  • TS2771 i am in ny and i get my favorite radio station in fl on my ipod touch, but when i plug in my ipod to the aux on my radio so i can hear the music ,i hear nothing at all

i am in ny and i get my favorite radio station in fl on my ipod touch, but when i plug it into my aux on my radio so that i can hear it, theres no sound at all

Do headphones work in your iPod touch? If they do that indicates there is a problem with the cable or the car's AUX input.

  • HOW DO I SET UP MY NEW MACPRO TO PLAY A RADIO STATION

How do I set up my macpro to play 3aw radio station?

Apps and media are forever tied to the AppleID used to download them.
You cannot transfer from downloads from one AppleID to another, nor
can you merge AppleIDs. If you wish to start using your own AppleID,
you will have to redownload all the items you wish - paying again under your
    AppleIDfor anything requiring payment.
Logout of iTunes under your old ID and login using the new ID.

  • Zen Touch optional wired remote control to play FM radio how do I get it? or can it work without

One of the reasons why i am thinking of buying a zen touch is becuase it has a FM radio built in. From the website it says you need an optional wired remote control to listen to the radio, where can i get one in the uk? or can it work without it's

The Zen Touch doesn't have a radio built-in. You'd need this:

The Zen Micro does have an FM tuner built-in.

  • Zen Touch Froze, It will not re-set or enter recovery m

My Creative Zen Touch froze when my sister was using it, She didn't know what to do with it so waited for me to come home, when i got home the battery had died. Letting the battery die and recharging it has sorted this problem for me on numerous occasion at this stage but this time i am unable to recharge it. It sits at the reboot "Creative Copyright 2004" screen and will not recharge or turn on. I have tried the re-set button and entering into the Recovery mode with no success.
    Any ideas ?

there is a way to recharge the battery, but therefore you have to remove it from the player, which will void the warranty, and still nobody has done this with a touch. at least i know of.
i don?t know the exact procedure so maybe you should search this forum for " battery died", or so. or somebody will explain it again.
the other way is to contact customer support and ask them if they could help.

The Touch and Sleek use different remotes. For the Touch the radio is part of the remote, whereas with the Sleek it's built-in to the player.
Check your regional Creative Online Store for the remote and price.

  • Zen Micro Photo Pre-Set EQ Settings

Is there any documentation on the settings for the Creative Pre-Sets on the Zen Micro Photo I did a search but don't think I was coming up with anything ... mostly user settings.
Just curious as I am clueless when it comes to EQ settings and when I try to set my own, they just don't sound right. I know about the highs/lows and mids but was curious ... I am using Disco right now with Bass Boost OFF and it sounds good to me but was just curious about tweaking the settings in the Custom EQ.
    Thanks!

There was a post a long, long time ago with some of the settings (i don't know the post or what the settings are), but the pre-sets are basically the same ones as in windows media player. WMP has more sliders to adjust the different ferquences than the ZMP has, but the presets are very close (if not identical) to the WMP ones.
