  • Attendant line status at remote site

we have a centralized 4.1.3 call manager with remote site using mpls. we set up the attendant application for the receptionist at the remote site and everything worked as expected. The next day, she no longer could see the line status.
I've tried it from the main site and it works fine. We've tried restarting the services.
Does anyone know what might have happened?
    thanks
    Rob

problem turned out to be the windows xp firewall running on the receptionist pc. when it was turned off, line status worked.
solution is to add the acclient program as an exception in the firewall settings

  • My procedure is taking long time to process the attendance information?

    Dear Experts
I have procedure which runs employees monthly attendance sorry here I am unable to post the procedure it contains 4500 lines and I am using oracle 11g R2 version on Windows 2008 R2 Server with 4 GB RAM
I have run my procedure for 1 section which have 180 employees count and procedure took 28 min of time to complete the process for 1 month and I have total 3000+ employee to run the attendance process for all the employee for 1 month.
I am Storing all the employees in Cursor then looping one by one with Dates (1st to End of the month one date for all the employees) using While Loop.
    or
can you give me the suggestion how can I find at which stage procedure is taking time in the 4500 lines of code.

I tried with BULK COLLECT with for loop however it takes 6 hrs 50 min to complete the process where as cursor completes it with in 25 min
Below is the type which I have used
TYPE employee_nums_t IS TABLE OF employeemaster.empno%TYPE
                  INDEX BY PLS_INTEGER;
          l_employee_nums   employee_nums_t;
select EMPM.EMPNO BULK COLLECT INTO l_employee_nums
                FROM EMPLOYEEATTENDANCE EMPA,EMPLOYEEMASTER EMPM,SECTIONMASTER SEM,CATEGORYMASTER CGM
                WHERE SEM.SECTIONID=EMPM.SECTIONID AND EMPM.CATEGORYID=CGM.CATEGORYID
                AND EMPM.CATEGORYID!='4'
                AND (P_SECTIONID IS NULL OR SEM.SECTIONID = P_SECTIONID)
AND (P_CATEGORYID IS NULL OR EMPM.CATEGORYID=P_CATEGORYID)
                AND (P_EMPNO IS NULL OR EMPA.EMPNO = P_EMPNO) AND EMPA.EMPNO=EMPM.EMPNO
                GROUP BY EMPM.EMPNO ORDER BY TO_NUMBER(EMPM.EMPNO);
    FOR indx IN 1 .. l_employee_nums.COUNT
            LOOP
              ----- (Here is remaining program)

  • Unity Connection Auto Attendant direct to voice mail, MWI issue

    hi,
First time encountering this issue with call transfer from AA and MWI.
An Auto Attendant have been setup for a branch office.  All employees at  the Branch office phones are assigned a DID.
Customers can dial the 10 digit or  dial the main line (auto attendant) and then dial the last 4 digit extension to reach the employee.
Problem I am having is there is a range of numbers that when being transferred from AA, goes directly to voicemail.   Also when there is a message  left on the voicemail, the MWI is not lit.  It does show the envelope icon and the  message "you have vociemail" on the phone display.
I can call the DID directly and it does not go directly to voicemail but MWI is still not on when a message is left.
This only happens within a range of numbers..  for example, I have 50 DID assigned to this office from XXX-XXX-0100 to XXX-XXX-0150.   Only the phones within the range of XXX-XXX-0120 to XXX-XXX-0130 have this issue with the AA going directly to vociemail and MWI not on when a message is left.
For phones outside this range of numbers, AA transfer works fine and MWI works.
anyone ran into this issue before?
    thank in advance.

    Hi,
The range in which you are facing issue is  XXX-XXX-0120 to XXX-XXX-0130, just try to open any  one of the extension in this range and go to edit -- transfer rules -- standard/alternate (if alternate is enabled) -- Transfer calls -- may be this is set to Greetings. If so the transferred call goes to voicemail directly. Try enabling Extension.
Just try this for one extension and see...
Hope this helps, i had the same issue.
    Regards
    Jagadish G

  • IP Phone call forward to Attendant Console - reach Attendant Console Voicemail

    Hello,
I have an old Attendant Console based on CUCM7.1(5) with CUC 9.
Most of my user have voice mail box.
My issue is following: Users forward there phone to AC pilot point during lunch time or meetings.
When a call is then transfered to Attendant Console, if it is not answered, it is redirected to Unity connection and reach User Voice Mail box.
This is the good way of working for all users (to reach first redirect number mailbox), but my customer wants in the particular case of calls forwarded to standard, to reach standard voice mail box.
    How can we achieve this?
If I setup a Translation Pattern on CUCM to translate a dummy number into attendant console Pilot Point number, and forward user to this dummy number, does Translation Pattern replace the first redirect number?
    Thanks for your help.
    Thibaut

It is likely that they are transferring a call to the operator on a line they are not logged into instead of the queue.
All calls should be routed through the queue in order to receive full CTI control of that call, I would suggest you create a speed dial with the DN of the CTI Route Point for the operators queue and then transfer the call to that instead of the operator directly, this way the call sits in the queue with any other callers.

  • Call forward to external number which has auto attendant

    Hi
I am a voice administrator in my company
I want to forward all of my calls to my Other location's number.
Other location has only POTS line and to reach my extension user needs to go through Auto attendant menu.
Is it possible to enter a digit pattern in call forward destination in CUCM so that it can take care of Auto attendant menu of my Other location and land on my number?
    We have CUCM 8 running.
    Please help!!
    Ashwin

    Hello Ashwin,
"Other location has only POTS line and to reach my extension user needs to go through Auto attendant menu."
What type of phone system and voice mail is providing the auto attendant?
How are the POTS lines(analog only correct?) terminated into the phone system?

  • I need help,  I recently won an iphone 5 in a survey !  I have never had an apple product before.  I have had to drive to Newcastle on two occaisions to attend workshops, they were only just helpful !  most people had ipads , i was only one with iphone,

I need some help. I recently won an iphone 5 in a customer survey. Could not believe my luck . That was mid March 2013.  I have never used any apple products before.  Today I want to get out my old Nokia E5 and go from there.  I have attended two workshops at an apple retail store at Charlestown Square, they were not very helpful, everyone at the workshop had ipads, i was the only one with an iphone. I know that to navigate around on them is simular, but after going to two workshops, which i had to drive over an hour there and back, just to get some help in how to use a mobile phone is ridiculous to me!  I noticed some problem with , I could hear people i was talking too, they could not hear me, just prior to attending my second workshop,  after much debate I was told that the phone had a manufacturing fault and that I was going to be issued with a new phone.  That was 2nd April, since then i have virtually no reception, can't send txt messages, cannot connect to my wi-fi device,  problems with battery.   The battery , once fully charged does not last 24 HRS,  this morning for example - was 100% charged, made a 2 min local phone call  , at completion of call , battery displayed 80%.   By lunch time it was displaying 56%,  i had not used the phone at all ! i don't understand it!  I have been with the same phone provider for 2yrs now and have never experienced the problems i am having now.  CAN ANYONE HELP ME ?  Yours Sincerely  Tracey.

Tracy, first you should restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo.  This process could solve some of your problems.  Also make sure you have the latest update, go into  our settings>general>software update.  On the wifi issue try restarting your router, if you are still having problems try resetting your network settings, go into your settings>general>reset then tap reset network settings.
The battery issues seems normal, the battery will not last 24 hours.

  • Partial cancellation of attendance for attendee in training and event

    dear training module experts,
i have a issue in partial cancellation of attendance.
1.I have created a business event group  for training calendar(OOEG)
2.I have created a business event type (OOET) WITH RELATIONSHIPS
3.I have created business event dates with resources(PSV2)
4.I HAVE BOOKED PERSONS FOR EVENTS ( NOT FIRMLY BOOKED)
    THE EXAMPLE IS
BUSINESS EVENT TYPE IS : "communication skills program"
Business event dates are: 01.02.2007 to 03.02.2007
    Persons booked are : 1.paul
                                    2.David
                                    3.Chandru
                                    4.Rex
                                    5.Bansali
all these persons are booked for 3 days . But on the day of event happening, one person say ., David doesn't attend only for 02.02.2007 where as he attends for 01.02.2007 and 03.02.2007.
Now we have to cancel his attendance only for 02.02.2007.
we need a report to be run showing his attendance for that event called "communication skills"  for 01.02.2007 and 03.02.2007 and his report for 02.02.2007 should show nil.
In other words, i need to partially cancel his attendance and not cancel the whole attendance for him.
how to go about it? is there any program in standard .
IN normal transactions , it doesn't seem possible
Even integration with time management  doesnt help for partial cancelllation  before running a attendee list report .
soliciting your replies  and correct solution.
    nataraj s

Do it  through your IT 2002. Mark him as leave for those days. Cancelling through TEM will cancel attendence for whole program

Since you said that you have activated integration b/w Time and TEM, and you have maintained Attendance Type for both Instructor and Attendee let us look at the options.
In SM35 session gets created only when the Payroll Area is locked and if you try to book an attendee or Instructor during that period. In other circumstances system will create the attendance for both Instructor and Attendee as soon as they are booked for a course.
I would suggest you to check if the Infotype 0007 is maintained for those attendees/instructors for whom you are facing problem and also please check Course Type's 1026 (Course Type Info) Infotype settings.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if you still face this issue.
    Best Regards
    Reddy

  • Training and Event Management - 2 Specify Attendance Types

    Hi
Is it possible to assign 1 attendance types to each course type or an specific event.
    For example:
There is a course that generates payed attendance and another course that generates non payed attendance. So to discriminate for the payroll we need to assign 2 different attendance type for each course type or for an specific event.
Is this possible? Please answer us asap.
    Kind Regards,

As far as i know,  settings for individual business events are made when you define the at BEtype of which there is none of the settings you require. One solution could be to remove time management integration for the ones that are unpaid and maintain them as unpaid absences:training. Hope someone else provides you with a more helpful response.

  • Attendance Capturing : Training and Event Management

    Hi Experts,
I'd like to know how to capture attendance for a Business Event.
    For an example,
We have a Business Event (Course), say, Verbal Communication Level 1,
    Start Date : 17.04.2014            End Date  :  21.04.2014
Each day schedule is as follows
    Start Time : 09:00:00hrs           End Time  : 15:30:00hrs
    1st session   : 9.30am to 11.00 am       break : 11.00 to 11.30am
    2nd session  : 11.30am to 1.00pm       lunch : 1.00pm to 2.00pm
    3rd session   :  2.00pm to 3.30 pm
    now my questions are,
    1. is there any standard way to capture attendance of the employees for the event?
    2. how to find get the attendance for each sessions ?  (say, present in morning session and absent in afternoon session)
    3. How to capture attendance for the vent in each day ? (say, present in first 2 days and absent in remaining days)
i would like to know, among booked attendees, who all are present for the event and absent for the event?
    thanks in advance

    Hi Sebin,
When you book the employees to event, automatic relation ship is created in table HRP1001, relationship type A025.
But for your 2nd and 3rd questions, we cannot identify it is not possible in standard to capture partial attendance OR partial absence.
OR you can create a curriculum and prepare events for each of the days and capture the day wise attendance/absence.
Hope the above clarification clears your doubt.
    Thanks
    Srinivas Ch
