Help regarding attaching smartform to a report program for QM module

I have developed a certifiacate of analysis smartform for QM module and i attached it to a output type ...but i need to attach this smartform to a standard report RQCAAP01. can anyone help me what customizations i should do in report program in order to attach smartform.

Can we use SmartForms in WM Module?

Ofcourse it is possible, but it will give you a lot of work.
In WM customizing you can define your printprogram and form yourself.
So it is possible to couple a smartform printprogram to a smartform.
Only the returncodes are less efficient in case of errors.

Use
To use Smart Forms, two main parts are needed: A form template, and its print program. For the Preconfigured Smart Forms from the Business Unit for Small and Midsize Business (BU SMB), there is one Add-On that you may need:
 Add-On BP-R3 PF 46C V2 (Preconfigured Smart Forms), contains all Print Programs and a set of generic Smart Forms (both under namespace /SMB40/) that you will need to run all of the BU SMB Preconfigured Smart Forms.

Smartform for production order

We have currently SAP ECC6 EHP3 installed and I'm looking for a preconfigured smartform for the production order. I know we can import country specific best practice templates, but this is too much for only the need of one smartform.
Can anyone provide me the following data for the smartform "Production oder":
- print programm
- style
- smartform

Smartforms or SAPScript for FI module

Hi Experts,
for the SD or MM modules, the Form and respectinve print programs can be found in TNAPR.
I know that these data for FI modules are under correspondence but I don't know in which table these data are stored.
can anyone tell me as where they store these data?

Try to use NACE and select FI application and check the output type and the print programs.
1) use this function module and specify the form name:-
SAPSCRIPT_SELECT_PROGRAM
2)Or goto se11 and display contents of table TTXFP specifying the form name field

We have a new ecc6.0 system but sap did not provide the preconfigured smartforms with us. but we have requirement to convert the purchase order into a pdf and send by mail when we r using me21n. any inputs or help on this is greatly appreciated.
Is there any other way to convert a sap script or smartform into pdf format and send it by mail and configure it in nace

You need to download the file - its like a patch - which has to be applied for configuration of the preconfigured smartforms.
This is available for download from SAP or you can request for the same.
Hope this may help you out.
The other way out is to call you own Z driver program and call the standard smartforms in this the Z driver programs has to configured in the NACE transaction. after calling the standard smartform in your Z driver program you cna call a function module to generate a PDF file with the data which has been passed onto the Smartform itself.
Later after this step do call the Send mail Function Module and then send to the appropriate person.
But one question over here is whom do you want to send the PO - is it a mail which is fixed always or will it be retrieved from somewhere.

Smartform For PO

Hi All,
I am working on a Smartform for the PO. We have a requirement to print the INFO RECORD PO TEXT on the form. I am able to print the hard coded texts on the form, but the problem comes when we have to print the standard texts on the form. I have written an INCLUDE statement for the Standard Text in the PO. When I write this statement as command no text is getting printed in the print preview of the form and when I write this statement as continuous text then I am getting the complete include statement in the print preview of the form.
My required is to get the appropriate Standard Text on the Form.
Please suggest some solution for this.

HI Ankur,
If you want to avoid hard coding texts in forms, use include text or text module.
First create your own text in tcode SO10.
Second in the text node, choose the text type as Include Text and give the details of text what you have created in SO10 like Text name , Text ID, etc.
IN print preview it will show the text.

If you are able to download it directly then i dont think it is a paid consulting.
Prior to providing the service, SAP mentions that it would be a paid service & asks for your approval. If you give the approval, then only it processes further.
If you are not prompted with any such information, then please go ahead & download.

Smartforms in QM module

Hi all,
is it possible to configure smartforms in QM module?
Currently we know that the CQ85 transaction only lets us configure SAPScripts here.
Is there any workaround to this? Or is it only possible to have SAPScript here?

for QM module this will not work, as there are no output types to configure here.
Nace is fine for SD, MM, etc, but in QM its not applicable.
Any other ideas?

hello everyone,
i am new to SAP particularly SMARTFORMS. i am planning to create a simple letter which later i want to call in my abap program.

 Go thru the link othere have given it would be make u learn lot abt smartforms.... For ur requirement U need to have 2 things as every smartforms have..... a Print program .... then ur smartforms for it.
Goto SE38 & create a print program.... as follows

At a very high level you will need to:
1. Create the Data Entry Profiles. These are the templates that employees see when they go into their timesheet, and there are lots of options depending on what other modules and/or further processing is required for the time entries.
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > Cross-Application Components > Time Sheet > Specific Settings for CATS regular > CATS regular > Record Working Time > Set Up Data Entry Profiles
2. Define the field selection. i.e. the columns that will be visible in the timesheet, and which ones are required/read only

3. If you are using manager approvals, you will then need to set up the approval views. The default ones may be sufficient for your requirements or they may need tweaking slightly

4. In order to valuate the entries you will then need to set up a Time Evaluation schema; this will analyse the time entries and convert them into wage and/or time types which can then be processed by Payroll for payment. Preconfigured Smartforms

Hello,
I'm working on ecc 6.0 and I have a problem with smartforms. I have to create custom smartform for purchase order but standard smartforms such as /smb40/mmpo_a are not available in the system. Is not available package SMB40.
I've tried to download this from another system but I am not able to upload it in my system. ERROR: INVALID FORMAT FILE (NAME SPACE) and it is xml format.
How can I solve this problems?

For the availability of SAP Best Practices Preconfigured Smart Forms, check SAP Note 843193 firstly.
You can download the latest version of smartform from SAP Note 852250.
You can find MM/SD smartforms from attachment, you need to create them
by yourself in your system manually ,please refer to technical document
in the attachment.
Also, the preconfigured SmartForms are delivered with
the country-specific SAP Best Practices Baseline and Industry packages.
Check http://service.sap.com/bestpractices for availability.
