I'm not seeing any issues with it at all.
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

However they do not display properly in Safari for iOS as tested on my iPod (but they do display correctly in Opera Mini for iPod)

Well, I want to be an iOS developer. I'm a beginner. I just want to know if I could make a living just by developing apps and games for iPhones and iPads?? In about next 5 years, I'll be able to submit my first game. I have my own problems. But can I make a living??

Some devs do quite well, others find it barely worth the effort. Anything is possible, but as noted, it all depends on you.

Flash and publishing for iOS (Help Needed)

I currently own Adobe Create Suite 3 Design Premium. I just recently heard that CS 5.5 can develop iOS Apps. So I downloaded trial 2 days ago and thought I would see if I could develop some apps and if things go well upgrade.
Here is the issue I'm running into. I created the CSR file with openssl since I don't own a mac, only a windows 7 based pc. Apples developers program accepted my CSR and created the provisioning file for it.
However, when I go to publish the for iOS it asks for a .p12 file. I found online that is my CSR file. However, it asks for a password. I have no password for it. It does not allow leaving the password field blank, and anything I put in it is incorrect.
All I need help with is the .p12 file and getting past the password and I will be good to go.
Anyone know a step by step guide or could walk me though this part. Thank you and I greatly appreciate it.

Built app with Flash Builder 4.6 and compiled for iOS, now error when loading to appstore

I built a fairly simple app using Flash Builder 4.6 and have successfully deployed it to the Android Market (after testing on my own Android device). I have also taken that same app and compiled it for iOS and tested it on my own iPad.
I have then done the release build with the "Final Release for App Store Distribution" option in the release build wizard. I have all the correct provisioning certificates in place and compiled the application to a .ipa file.
At this point, using a MAC, I have run the Application Loader utility to upload my application to the itunesConnect portal to get it in the appstore. I've already gone through the steps of entering the metadata, price scheme, and screenshots in the itunes connect portal, and just need to upload it for review.
When I upload the .ipa file into the application loader, it gives me the following error:
"iPhone/iPod Touch: application executable contains unsupported architecture(s): arm"
Anyone have any idea what this means and how I can fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Solved it. Just added the following in the <InfoAdditions> tag for iPhone in my app descriptor XML file:

I have an older iPod touch running 5.0.1 and have ALWAYS manually managed the music on it. I recently updated itunes to 11.1.4.62 and now the 'drag and drop' function in itunes doesn't work. I have verified that the 'manually mangage music and videos' is checked. I really don't want to upgrade the ios as I don't need the newer features. I simply use this for music. Is this a bug with the latest itunes?

Bug in Weather for iOS 8 now missing animations.

Hi everyone,
Ever since upgrade to iOS 8.1 from 7.1.2 I've noticed that the weather app no longer shows background animations for cities outside of the USA. I have a feelings this has something to do with Apple switching from Yahoo as the weather information supplier to The Weather Channel. Comparing an iPhone running 7.1.2(Yahoo) vs 8.1(TWC), on 7.1.2 international cities such as London and Toronto, have current weather status, written under the current temperature which seems to associate the appropriate background animation (fog, rain, lighting, snow... etc); while 8.1 no such status can be found, thus leaving the background's blank without animations. This is a real letdown, as the weather app for many international user has become, well, boring. Anyone else notice this problem (bug)?
Apple, please look into why The Weather Channel isn't providing current "status" reports on international cities, as this animated feature was a great inclusion in iOS 7 and is now missing in iOS 8.

After iOS 8.1.1 released, this bug still occurs on my iPhone 6. But I found a solution: Remove every cities in weather app, and then restart weather app, add your cities back. Now, the background animations come back to your weather app.

That's not true. If you have a mac and you use Time machine. you can restore a previous version of facebook to iTunes and resync your device. Here are the steps:
Go into iTunes opt+click (right-click) on Facebook. "Show In Finder"
Open time machine. Go back in time until you find version 411.0 (or earlier)The file name is called "Facebook 4110.0.ipa"
Restore it to desktop. Go into iTunes and delete the current app.It will give you a warning that it will delete it from all current devices. That should be okay, just re-download it
Drag and drop the file from your desktop into iTunes
Sync your device.
I KNOW this works... as i literally just did it and everything turned out just peachy.

Need help with IPhone 4S and upgrade for IOS 7

I upgraded my phone last night to IOS 7.0.2 and this morning I went through all the initial set up questions and my phone was working. Once I walked away and it turned off, it is asking me for a passcode to get back into my phone. I did NOT have a passcode before I upgraded do not know what passcode it would be asking me to enter. I have tried a couple different passcodes and nothing is working now my phones says it is "DISABLED". Can anyone help?

The upgrade to iOS 7.0 automatically turns on Passcode Lock....whether you want it or not. You probably don't remember the passcode you entered when prompted, but regardless, one was setup on the phone. To fix, & remove the passcode, follow the directions here to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it:

Pages and Keynotes for iOS can not detect documents on my iPad 2

...but all documents can be seen on my iPhone 4s and on iCloud.
Both iDevices updated to iOS 7.0.3., both apps updated with latest patch. I have tried to reset the iPad 2 (64 gb, WiFi+3G), with no positive effect. I saw this error yesterday evening for the first time. Everything was working Tuesday evening. I am able to access and work with the documents in iCloud on my PC. That work gets synced like it's supposed to.
Any suggestions?

I know there are Apple vs YouTube issues, but the same thing happens when I try to play video ads from the Apple site.
The computer is 4 yrs old- this problem started a couple of months ago. No major changes, just updated as available.
Any suggestions....?

I don't have any Safari extensions that I know of. I didn't install any anti-virus.
This is on the error message when it comes up. I went to the WebProcess application in Time Machine and tried to restore it to one year ago, but it didn't fix the problem. As I recall, this began about the time Apple and YouTube parted ways- whether that is coincidence or not...
