Preload to Memory ( is that even possible ) ?

So I noticed with the app I am working on. There are some stutters the first time a section animates on the stage. Once its been seen on the stage is performs great for the duration of the session.
is there a way to preload all these movieclips to memory or something so that they will always perform great from the first time they are displayed to the stage ?

So whats happening is that it stutters on the first real visible tween.
I even tried using loadChild when the app first loads.. but set an index of 0 to hide it.
then when you click the button to view that movieclip .. I moved the index up to bring the clip to the front and do the tween .. That still stutters.
I tried putting the tween while the movieclip is at 0 .. even tried using the exact tween statement of the actual tween I perform while visible. ... It still stutters.
Once the stutter happens once.. it never happens again until you close the app completely. and re open.

Photoshop Elements 11 boxed software installed once in Dec. 2012 won't install on new computer. Disk can't be read (tested on 3 different computers). How is that even possible of a meticulously clean, well-protected disk?

On December 12th, 2012 I ordered (purchased) by mail an official copy of the boxed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 software from B&H Photo (New York, NY). I installed it successfully without any problem on my then computer. I have enjoyed using the program since then, it’s great. This past week, however, that same computer died and I was force to buy a new computer (Windows 8.1).
To my big surprise, the Elements disk wouldn’t load off my DVD drive. The drive just kept “clicking” for 20 minutes. After trying several times from reboot, for an hour and a half, I then tried installing it on my laptop, just to see if my drive was faulty. No, it wasn’t. It too immediately went into an endless “clicking” routine trying to read the disk. And for one last try, I put it in my sister’s laptop and she got the very same result - endless “clicking”, no install. No computer could read the disk!!!
How is this even possible from a commercially made disk I used only once in 2012! The disk is meticulously clean, unscratched, unscuffed, put away in its original box and stored on my shelf in a cool place away from the sun!

Is there anything you can do about this as I see no reason why I should be forced to spend over a $130 (in Canada) to replace a disk that worked only once!

Thx Allan, my phone screen doesn't look like that. The name of my device in in the gray area at the top, it's not accessable. I tried for the first time last night to plug the phone into my laptop and in itunes it does not recognize my phone at all. the phone is running 4.2.6, and the laptop is a month old. I installed itunes on it, and authorized it, but on the left margin on the itunes screen, it doesnt show anything about any devices. And when i plug the phone into the laptop, the pop up box asks about pictures and videos, doesnt mention music or itunes at all. Ugggh!

i was browsing through my ipad. When i saw an app (Vocabulary HD Free) which was clearly listed as FREE. So i clicked on it to install it then it took me to my credit card page tellin me to confirm my credit card information as it said it was incomplete. So i filled in the required information clicked next and next thing i know is that i got a message from my bank saying i have been charged $4.99.
So what happens now? Does the developer compensates for this misunderstanding?

Long hold on the document in mail and it should give you the open in... option, select adobe reader and the file is now saved locally for viewing even while offline.

i have been watching netflix and i noticed that the fans came on. i was worried about the temperature of the components getting to hot so i downloaded istat pro to help get an idea of the temperature. i was wondering what is optimal temperatures in farenheit for the cpu and what has to be exceeded to kick the fans on ?

the fans are always on when the mac is on, you just can't hear them until about 3500 rpm. The mac has a thermal sensor that will shut the mac off before it gets to the point where the heat may cause damage. When watching nexflix you may see temps as high as 180 F but that's ok. On rare occasions my mac has been as hot as 202F but only for a few mins, but 160F-180F for a duration of a movie.

The GPU in a iMac is NOT upgradeable.
You should check to see if your model of iMac meets the minimum specs to run FCPX.
I believe that your GPU is NOT OpenCL capable, and hence not supported.
Even if it works, you would probably get marginal performance.
What you can do is download the trial version and see how (and if) it works.

We are currently have a solution that allows us to use a campus RADIUS
server as the authentication mechanism for accessing the Internet. We want
to integrate this so users can authenticate with their campus IDs but gain
access to the Novell server (home directory and printing) using the same
information.

So, essentially, we would like the external RADIUS' user/password data to
be synced with the eDirectory data, but have the eDirectory receive updates
from the RADIUS (or LDAP, Kerberos or whatever system is necessary). Or is
an all-Novell solution the only possible way to use RADIUS authentication?

As jim said, you can use idm to do this, but another option for you
might be to use somthing like freeradius and point it back to
edirectory as its authentication source.

On a non-jailbroken phone. Complete developer license legal, Are the following even possible?
1. Change individual contacts to a foreign language with custom keyboard (If I have a Russian friend, modify the contact to where all information can be in Russian and texts to person will auto be in Russian, and another all English or all French, on and on)
2. Group contacts together and turn on do not disturb programmatically (I choose 10 of my 30 contacts in a designed app and turn on do not disturb for just the 10)
3. Modify any information in the contact listing a hyperlink, example make the e-mail address link to a webpage rather than a e-mail.
4. Change color of text to or change fonts on individual contacts.
I know Swift is said to allow more modification for individual contacts, is Swift the way to go if any of these are possible.

1) I am not completely sure but I would say this is unlikely. You definitely can have contact information in different languages. However, I don't think that you can "set" an auto language whenever you communicate with that person. You would have to manually switch your keyboard to that language every time.
2) You could add all contacts that you do want to be "disturbed by" to your favorites. Then turn on do not disturb and chose allow favorites. However, this would cause you to have a lot of favorites and always be in do not disturb. Unfortunately, this is the most efficient way as of now.
3) Yes, there is actually a spot in contacts for a URL. This would be easier than putting it in the email section. This is fairly easy to set up.
4) You cannot change the font or color of really any text in standard Apple Apps currently. This is obviously available if you jailbreak, but you seem to not want to do that, which I respect. So you cannot do this one at all right now.
