Preloader...every time it plays!

Folks,
I have a movie that is apprx. 400 frames long. It has a sound
clip that runs as background music. I am using a % preloader that I
have used successfully in the past and this is my problem. The
flash movie (Navbar + rotating photos) resides on every page of my
site. The movie loads on the home page and and plays fine.
Everytime I nav to another page the movie preloads again. Taking
the same amount of time (apprx. 5-7 sec.) I know in my past movies
that once the movie was in hte browser cache I was pretty much good
to go on any duplicate pages. Any ideas on why this is doing this.
I can see maybe a slight glimps of the loader but the same amount
of time. 0-100% loading. I checked my cache and the swf file is
present in the cache so I know it's being downloaded. Any insight
would be helpful!

Had the same problem in two different cities. 1st city... neighbor cut the cable wire sheathing when installing their sprinkler system. FIX: Had the comcast cable replaced from box to house. When inspecting old cable, noticed cuts on the wire, and probably water was getting inside and shorting the signal. 2nd city. same problem, cable underground. FIX: Had the tech re-run a cable from box to house, but this time it was above ground.When I removed the old underground cable, again, it was cut in several places.

When you are pulling music from a hard drive and it says music can not be found, is there a way to stop it from doing that every time I play music from my computer? It used to find all music now it only finds 1 song at a time

When pulling music from a harddrive and it say music can not be found, is there a way to stop this from happening every time I play music on my computer? It used to find all music when serching for song but now it only finds 1 at a time. I have over 2000 songs so I can't go through this every time.

1) However I do not want to move my itunes Music onto the flash drive, only my Movies, and want to keep my music on my hard drive.

2) Do the MacBook Air's not have a separate program other than itunes that can play movies? If so, is there a program I can get to solve this problem? I went onto the App Store to see if there was something I could download, but all the apps were for creating DVD's, not simply playing them.
If you can play the movies in iTunes, you should be able to open the movie files using Quicktime, which should already be on your system. If you have already transferred the files to your flash drive, open the flash drive in Finder, and hold control when you click on the movie file (or right click if you have the enabled) and select Open With Quicktime Player. This should play the movie directly from the flash drive.

3) If 1. & 2. questions are solvable, will it then be safe to delete the movies from my itunes?
You can move the TV shows to your flash drive by dragging them from the iTunes window to your flash drive in Finder or the flash drive icon on the desktop. When you are sure everything is transferred over to your external device, you can delete the movie from iTunes. I recommend playing the videos from the flash drive first before deleting them in iTunes.
To delete the videos from iTunes, you can highlight them and press the delete key on your keyboard. In the next prompt, you would want to move it to the trash so that it is deleted from your internal hard drive.

My sound is running through the Saffire Pro 40 Interface (Focusrite) into external speakers with powered amps.
Also, When I record I am hearing little pops in the system. I have checked all of my meters and they are not clipping. What is causing it and how do I get it to stop?

The Mac reads the USB cable as a midi device, but not the keyboard that I am trying to use as a controller. I have tried it with my korg sp 300 and with my Nord Electro 2.

Notice, -internal interface-. What you have is a simple USB MIDI Interface. Most MIDI interfaces are USB.
My point is (was), MIDI OUT of the Korg goes to the connector marked MIDI IN on the Alesis, those new to MIDI often get this wrong.

ITunes Accesses FDD every time I play a file (!!!)

This is really funny, as every time I hear the FDD drive being accessed I laugh and keep wondering why would a program like iTunes 7.2, in the 21st century would mess with the floppy diskette drive and access it every time I play a file, despite the fact that I have not inserted a floppy disk since I bought my PC.
Any ideas on how I can stop it?

First, make sure it is iTunes that is accessing the FDD. You can use the free tool "Filemon" to do so:

You can't gift it, gifting can only be done from within the store, not from within your library.

As of iOS 6 this feature has been removed. To delete music you must either go to Settings > General > Usage > Music and delete all music, or disable iTM, delete what you want to delete and re-enable it.

Itunes 8 needs to authorize every video every time I play them.

ITunes Radio hangs every time it plays a rejoin (You're listening to iTunes Radio).

Every time iTunes plays a rejoin ("You're listening to iTunes Radio"), the channel hangs. Stopping and restarting the stream does not fix the problem. The only solution is to start a second channel for a second, then go back to the original channel.

Same issue since changing Apple ID password. Apple TV won't allow me to play my music of video purchases (says iTunes is currently unavailable). I'm able to play them on my mac and iPad, however. Radio on the other hand is completely crazy on all my devices - when choosing a station it immediately skips through several songs at a rapid pace then gets stuck on the "you're listening to iTunes radio" glitch as described above.
I've done a reset and factory restore of my Apple TV, signed in and out of my Apple ID, reset my router, NOTHING has worked. Apple support was no help.
I'm sorry I have nothing to contribute right now - I'll keep searching and share here if I find a solution.

I keep having to install flash player 11 every time i play games.whats wrong?

Almost every day i am playing one zinga game or another.during an upload of an game it will freeze and i will be asked to download the newest adobe flash player so the game will function properly.the rest of that day every thing will be fine.the next day the same thing will happin again.the download always works fine and the games all function fine after the download.this has happined four times now.i am an little confused and concerned.

windows seven with all of the up dates to this time point.i use
internet explorer ie9.but i also use google chrome and am finding my game play to work just fine on google.also i was just trying to take an survey and the site told me that i did not have the latest flash player installed and was asking me to download it.that would make it about eight times now.

ITunes crashes every time I play a song or I sync my iPod, or when I try to purchase/download/update an app

Every time I try to play a song, try to buy anything or my iPod tries to sync, iTunes crashes. My computer sends me an error message. I tried creating another iTunes account but it didn't work.

Every time I play a video on youtube it sounds like another version of that video is playing five seconds later, (and keeps doing so over and over) any idea how to fix this?

When I load a video on youtube, it plays, and then it sounds like another version of that video plays 5 seconds later, and after 5 seconds more, another version etc- etc.

iTunes saves out a new copy of the entire library file every time a change is made to the library. This is not new behavior.
The slowdowns I have seen like this have ususally been caused by:
A virus
or
Some anti-virus software is incorrectly interpreting the rewriting of the file and is causing a problem.
Either way, you should definitely update your anti-virus software and definitions to the latest, and run a full scan of your system. If that does not help, you may want to recreate your iTunes library.

Why does Game Center ask me to log in every time I play games online?

I don't understand- I enter my Apple ID and password and I log in, but it asks me to log in every time?!

I don't play games online but it's possible that this is a security feature....if you have to log in every time, then your friend can't access your device and mess with your game center account.
My issue has been with apps that log me into game center without my consent....I don't want to be logged in, they have no option to turn it off and I'm logged in every time I open the game.
Since your issue is with online games, I'd look in the settings for that game on the site and see if it has a 'never log out' option.

Dittos here. I've had my iPod since May. Everything worked fine until the most recent iPod Firmware update.
Specifically, MP3 podcast files from Manager-Tools.com cause reboot of the IPOD when in UNREAD state. If played (even 3 sec.) in iTunes prior to sync, they play fine; if reset in iTunes to UNREAD they again cause the a reboot in my iPod! Other podcast MP3 files are fine. All downloaded and administered via iTunes 7 (latest release). iPod debugger shows no errors. BTW: I have been unable to restore to the prior update.
Suggestions?
