Prelude Ingest don't work as expected with P2 material.

Hi!
I try to ingest my footage from P2 card and this is what's happening.
If I just use Ingest dialog windows with P2 mode like just clicking the card, it shows only less than half of the footage as you can see in 2 images of below.
Ok. So tryed to solve the problem and got to the "folder mode" and marking all clip parts and ofcourse check "stitch clips together mark" and choose Transcode to h264. After that, Media Encoder tells me multiple errors. It shows error box "One or more errors occured during ingest.Please check the..." And event window tells "Transcode task failed. Reason: AME unknown error!" and "Concatenate task failed. Reason: AME unknown error!". Adobe mediaencoder errorlog tells "
  - Encoding Time: 00:00:15
02/06/2014 06:50:36 PM : Encoding Failed
Export Error
Error compiling movie.
Unknown error.
So... what can I try next or forget the using Prelude?
Sami

Hi,
Thank you for your post.
The two images you posted represent the different views of Prelude interprets P2 clips. On the 'File Directory" view, it shows much more footages than the 1st image under the same folder, because there are spanned clips for the two shots. When a shot or take is recorded requiring more than the file size limit of a medium, a file-based camcorder starts another file, and continues recording the shot to that file without interruption.
So, you could do the ingest from either view. For P2 clip, prelude imports all of the spanned clips within a single shot or take as a single clip. No need to transcode.
To import a group of spanned clips, select one of them to import all of them. If you select more than one spanned clip, you will import duplicates of the whole group of spanned clips as duplicate clips in the Project panel.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ada

  • PageMargins don't work as expected

    Hi,
    I'm printing a report with the following code:
    document.PrintOptions.ApplyPageMargins(new PageMargins(1440, 0, 0, 0));
    document.PrintOptions.PrinterName = dialog.PrinterSettings.PrinterName;
    document.PrintToPrinter(dialog.PrinterSettings.Copies, dialog.PrinterSettings.Collate, dialog.PrinterSettings.FromPage, dialog.PrinterSettings.ToPage);
    However, the margins don't work as expected. If you set thr right or bottom margin, everything is fine. However, if you set left or top, you'll get completely unexpected results.
    See this illustration:
    http://i33.tinypic.com/2dl8xsi.png
    Arrows indicate where whitespace occurs after the margins have been set.
    The only margin I want is a margin at the left, but as you can see from my illustration, it's not possible.
    Setup: CR2008 SP2, VS2005, C#/.NET 2.0
    Regards,
    Florian

    Thanks, that seems to work much better (even faster).
    Here's the code that worked for me:
    if (dialog.ShowDialog(this) == DialogResult.OK)
        document.ReportClientDocument.PrintOutputController.ModifyPaperOrientation(pageSettings.Landscape ? ReportDefModel.CrPaperOrientationEnum.crPaperOrientationLandscape : ReportDefModel.CrPaperOrientationEnum.crPaperOrientationPortrait);
        document.ReportClientDocument.PrintOutputController.ModifyPrinterName(dialog.PrinterSettings.PrinterName);
        document.ReportClientDocument.PrintOutputController.ModifyPageMargins(1,1,1,1);
        try
            PrintReportOptions options = new PrintReportOptions();
            switch (dialog.PrinterSettings.PrintRange)
                case PrintRange.CurrentPage:
                    options.AddPrinterPageRange(this.GetCurrentPageNumber(), this.GetCurrentPageNumber());
                    break;
                case PrintRange.AllPages:
                    options.AddPrinterPageRange(1, totalPages);
                    break;
                case PrintRange.SomePages:
                    options.AddPrinterPageRange(dialog.PrinterSettings.FromPage, dialog.PrinterSettings.ToPage);
                    break;
            options.Collated = dialog.PrinterSettings.Collate;
            options.NumberOfCopies = dialog.PrinterSettings.Copies;
            options.PrinterName = dialog.PrinterSettings.PrinterName;
            document.ReportClientDocument.PrintOutputController.PrintReport(options);

  • Some keys don't work in combination with Shift

    Okay  so I have the Pavilion Sleekbook  15-b011nr
    Serial Number:   [Personal Information Removed]
    Product Number:   C6N92UA
    and today I noticed certain keys don't work in combination with the left Shift for example, Shift+S (both left and right), Shift+M, Shift+Z, Shift +X, Shift+C don't work, shift+F does work but gives me this FV. same with j it gives me JM instead. I installed an updated bios, ran a diagnostic test using F2 and under the compenant test for the keyboard it failed and gave me this
    keyboard test failed
    failure Id # U375BD-6m96P5-MFPX1F-G03B03
    product id # C6N92Ua#aba
    now while trying to type all this I found other letters now working as well as me not being able to input the semicolon with either shift key. frustrating since I got this laptop in June so it's still under warranty. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so how do i fix mine? I'm pretty tech savvy so feel free to let me know, or is my only option is a replacement from HP?
    Thanks!

    Hi hzapata, I know that it work fine, after Load preset, but why You lost the default configs?
    Is this my question to Smit.

  • Some links look clickable but don't work - Word 2010 with Acrobat PDF creation

    Windows 7
    Latest Acrobat subscription
    Word - Office home and student 2010
    I can create PDFs via Acrobat and Word on Windows 7,  but after editing the PDF with Acrobat on Mavericks OS X, only in-document links remain clickable. External web hyperlinks, both exposed URLs and blue text with URLs hidden under link text do not work in the PDFs that are edited on MacOS. They look like they work, because in the PDFs the hand cursor appears and you can click the links, but nothing happens in the browser.
    I can't find any troubleshooting information about this.
    My process:
    Word: Options: Advanced - remove check in "use ctrl-click to follow hyperlinks"
    Convert file using the Acrobat tab in the Word ribbon.
    Set compatibility to Acrobat 8
    Create PDF (icon)
    Click Options
    Check "create bookmarks"
    Convert Word Headings to Bookmarks
    Accept defaults, which are:
    Convert document information
    Enable Accessiblity
    Reflow the tagged Adobe PDF.
    The PDF is converted. Links all seem to work as expected.
    Take the PDF to MacOS Mavericks, add pages, optimize, using Acrobat on MacOS.
    Afterward, only some kinds of links in the PDF work.
    This is a new problem that seemed to start when I recently began to use Acrobat's subscription version on Windows instead of FoxIt to convert the Word docs on Windows.
    Q: Is this a known limitation that MacOS Acrobat creates unusable links despite the initial PDF conversion being done on Windows Acrobat?
    Q: Should I do something additional so that external links remain clickable after processing on MacOs?
    Thanks for any clues.

    Thanks for your reply.
    After some experimentation, it seems that the place where *some* links stop working is when I take a PDF file from Windows and optimize it on MacOS with Mac Acrobat Pro. All the links work *except* the kind where the URL is hidden behind blue underlined text. These look like they work but when you click them nothing happens.
    So to fix it, I think I need to optimize the PDFs on Windows Acrobat Pro.
    The MacOs Acrobat Pro, which I paid many hundreds of dollars for is therefore completely useless for documents with this kind of normal hypertext link.
    Also, Windows Acrobat Pro is required in order to ensure that table-of-contents links made in Word (MacOS) continue to work in the PDF. The trick there is to regenerate the TOC on Windows Word before using CreatePDF to convert it.
    I hope someone else benefits from this insight, because I wasted weeks of my life trying to troubleshoot this undocumented problem.

  • Read Key and Write Key not working as expected with paths on RT

    The configuration file VIs Read Key (Path) and Write Key (Path) don't seem to work as expected (at least not as I was expecting them to) on an RT target.
    When working on my WinXP PC with these two VIs, paths are translated to what looks like is supposed to be a device-independent format before being written to disk. The path C:\dir\file.txt becomes /C/dir/file.txt when writing and vice versa when reading. On my RT target, however, that same path is written to disk as C:\dir\file.txt, unchanged from the native format.
    The translaton of a native path to and from the device-independent format appears to be the responsibility of Specific Path to Common Path and Common Path to Specific Path. These both use the App.TargetOS property to determine the operating system. In the case structure for these two VIs, however, there is no case for PharLap or RTX. (My RT hardware is runnng PharLap; I don't know enough about RTX to comment.) This means that the results of String to Path or Path to String are used without translating between the device-independent format to the native path format.
    This isn't a problem if you create a configuration file on one machine and use it on that same machine. I noticed this only when tranferring a config file from my PC to the RT target, where the target would not open the file paths it loaded from the configuration file.
    This occurs on 7.1.1 and 8.0.  I don't have 8.20 to see if happens there, too.

    In LV 8.2, this was fixed.
    The problem is App.TargetOS returns "Pharlap" on RT systems, and "Pharlap" is handled by the default case ("invalid OS target") in LV 8.0.  In LV 8.2 the default case is "Windows 95/NT", however.  The reason you could write and read an .ini file on RT in LV 8.0 and earlier is because these two VIs (listed below) were both running the default case of "invalid OS target".
    vi.lib\Utility\config.llb\Common Path to Specific Path.vi
    vi.lib\Utility\config.llb\Specific Path to Common Path.vi
    As you saw, this fails when you perform one operation in Pharlap but the other in Windows.  You can fix this by modifying the two VIs listed above.  Just go to the case structure and make "Windows 95/NT" the default case.

  • ServiceDesk software not working as expected with new Firefox version

    After recently upgrading to Firefox 5.0, I have discovered that the ServiceDesk software I use with Firefox no longer works as expected. This software is ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus 8.0. The problem is irratic but unique to Firefox. I don't have this problem with Chrome or IE.
    The problem is this: When I open an issue, several fields become active, one of which is the description field where the user who sent the issue typed the description of their problem. When editing the issue and the active fields become active, sometimes this description field is completely blank, meaning their description is gone, but not really. I have to close the page and try to re-open hoping this time, the description will be shown. Also, there is a tab for me to enter a resolution when I want to close it. I cannot enter anything in this field, or rather I can, but when I save it, nothing gets saved to this field, so the user doesn't get to see my resolution. The default font for ServiceDesk is Arial, but I know something is amiss because the default font is Times. If the font shows as Arial, then I know everything will be okay.

    I knew I would figure this out as soon as I posted it...
    This is the behavior you see if the SamAccountName field is not included.

  • ArrayDeque as a stack doesn't work as expected with complex objects

    Trying to use ArrayDeque as a strorage for complex values <PSList<PSol>> (i.e. Arraylists of structured Values PSol), this doesn't work as expected. The code below should produce different values of pSLWk, being stored on bkStack, which are then to be retrieved by pop() to the variables pSL1, pSL2, pSL3.
    However, retrieval only ends up with three identical data sets (variables) pS1,pS2, pS3.

    Thank you for your comments, although I see we still don't have a common understanding of the problem.
    Firstly, I add the code for the PSList and the PSol classes, so you might find some problem with that:
         public class PSol     {
              private StringBuffer val;
              private int zI;
              private int sI;
              private int bI;
                        // == Konstruktor
              public PSol( StringBuffer v, int z, int s, int b )     {
                   this.val=v;
                   this.zI=z;
                   this.sI=s;
                   this.bI=b;
                        // == Getter,Setter
              public StringBuffer getVal()     {return val;}
              public int getZ()     {return zI;}
              public int getS()     {return sI;}
              public int getB()     {return bI;}
              public int getVSize()     {return val.length();}
              public void setVal(StringBuffer v)     {val=v;}
              public boolean hasVChar( StringBuffer ch, boolean delCh )     {
                   boolean bT=false;
                   StringBuffer fSt=getVal();
                   if (!(fSt.indexOf( ch.toString() )     == -1))     {
                        bT=true;
                        if (delCh)     {
                             setVal(fSt.deleteCharAt(fSt.indexOf( ch.toString() )));
                   return bT;
         }     // PSol
         public class PSList<E> extends ArrayList<PSol>     {
                   /**     Construktor 1: PSList(v,z,s,b) - makes list from single arrays
              private static final long serialVersionUID =  4711L;                         // ### JAVAC Warning! ###

                    v=new StringBuffer(vS[i]);
    //ArrayList<PSol> pSL=new ArrayList<PSol>;
                   for (int i=0; i<valDim; i++) {
                        this.add( new PSol( v[i], z[i], s[i], b[i] ) );
    /** Konstruktor2 : makes list from matrix array
    public PSList () {
    for (int j=0; j<nDim; j++) {
    for (int i=0; i<nDim; i++) {
    this.add( new PSol( new StringBuffer(sGuiArr[i][j]), i, j , i/locDim + (j/locDim)*locDim) );
                        /**     ------- Construktor 3 : PSList(PSList pS) - makes list as a copy of an existing one
    public PSList ( PSList<PSol> pX )     {
                   super (pX); // ArrayList-Constructor (Collection)
    // get Element <PSol>
    public PSol getEl ( int i )     {return get(i);}
         public int getCount()     {return size();}
         public int getTValLg()     {
                   int lg=0;
                   for (int i=0; i<getCount(); i++)     {
                        lg=lg + getEl(i).getVal().length();
                   return lg;
                        /**     ------- checkResult()     -     Check if alll elements are single char +dump
         public boolean checkResult(String messg)     {
                   boolean allOne=true;
                   for (int i=0; i<size(); i++)     {
                        if ( getEl(i).getVal().length() > 1 )     {
                             allOne=false;
                             System.out.print(" ");
                   else     {
                        System.out.print(getEl(i).getVal());
                   System.out.println("<C.R.>"+messg);
                   return allOne;
         }     // Class PSList
    Secondly, I don't really see what you mean by pointing out to 'only one "pSLWk" instance of PSList'. The variable pSLWk is the variable to be worked upon; after some change of the contents, I want to save this state of contents to the stack. When I pop that variable from the stack, I wouldn't want to restore it to pSLWK, but to some other variable, e.g. by public PSList<PSol> pSL1;
    pSL1=new PSList<PSol>(bkStack.pop());Again - to my understanding (which comes from old days of microprocessor coding... - there shouldn't be a need to know how the data came there, or what was the name of the variable who stored it there. And  : the implementation of ArrayDeque returns 'elements' of class E, not references !
    Thirdly, you're right, that the method of using a copy constructor for retrieval looks 'weird'. However - I had some other versions that didn't work either, e.g. the straightforward one, as I pointed out.
    And fourthly: yes, I'm almost sure that I'm messing up something somewhere. I went to this forum hoping to clarify that ... :)
    If you don't mind, could you please sketch a few lines of code, how to 'push' a complex variable to a ArrayDeque stack, and retrieve it - by 'pop()' - to some to other variable of the same class later ?
    Might make our discussion much easier, to see how things REALLY work.
    Thank you ! • Second Level Subdomains | wildcard domains on Azure don't work as expected

    Hi,
    We're having issues with the Custom Domain functionality of Azure Websites.
    In short, a wildcard CNAME record has been set up to point to the Azure Website instance:
    *.mydomain.com -> mydomain.azurewebsites.com
    In Azure portal, in the custom domains section, the wildcard is also set up with a valid entry
    e.g. *.mydomain.com (record in custom domains section).
    Problem:
    visiting www.level2.mydomain.com results in a 404 error from Azure 'Error 404 - Web Site not found!' etc.
    Every other single-level subdomain gets through fine e.g. level1.mydomain.com is fine.
    Question:
    Are we doing something unsupported here?
    Thanks in advance,
    H

    Hi Petr,
    Many thanks for your response!
    With the knowledge that double wildcard certificates are not supported with Azure Websites, I set up a simple test to see if second-level subdomains would work on Azure Websites
    without SSL.
    Test:
    - a template MVC5 app, no SSL endpoint binding and a single custom domain *.mydomain.com.
    - Home controller index action with a simple redirect to another site
    - published to a Shared Azure Website instance
    - DNS entry from *.mydomain.com to <azurewebsitename>.azurewebsites.net
    - wait for everything to propogate
    Result:
    - 'Error 404 - Web Site not found!' on Azure when navigating to www.secondlevel.mydomain.com
    - Successful redirect when navigating to random.mydomain.com (where random is
    not an explicitly mapped subdomain in the DNS service: therefore, wildcard catchall is working as expected for single-level wildcard subdomains)
    Assessment:
    The non-support of second-level subdomains is not restricted to the fact that Azure Websites don't support double wildcard certificates? The issue extends to Azure Website's non-support of double wildcard Custom Domains?
    Thanks,
    H

  • Http cache don't work as expected in an applet

    Hi, everyone!
    I write an applet which dynamic connect a http server and fetch content from it. I wish the content could be cached in browser's cache system.
    Here is my code, it's work well in MS JVM, but when I turn to sun plugin, the cache system don't work. Every time I get a Response code 200 ( wish to be 304)
    ==================My code================================
    URLConnection conn=(URLConnection)url.openConnection();
    conn.setUseCaches(true);
    conn.setAllowUserInteraction(false);
    conn.connect();
    java.io.ObjectInputStream ois=null;
    Object o=null;
    try
    ois=new ObjectInputStream
    (new java.util.zip.InflaterInputStream(conn.getInputStream()));
    return ois.readObject();
    finally
    if(ois != null)
    ois.close();
    ==================My code================================
    I tested on sun JDK 1.42 and IE6.
    My Http Server is Jetty ,and I do have add a last_modified tag in http response.
    I look into the Java plugin control panel ,only the jar file is cached.

    Sorry for the confusion, of course you are right and it seems to be a bug.
    I ment that the method name setUseCaches itself might be confusing because it does not force caching, it just allows it when available.
    There are several bugs about the plugin caching (4912903, 5109018, 6253678, 4845728, ...) even if they might not fit 100% to your problem they show that plugin caching is an issue which sun really should improve.
    You might have a look at them and vote for them or submit a new bug.

  • Paint of Focus don't work on  Buttons  with Borders/or opaque Buttons! Why?

    Hi, if I use the Metal Look&Feel Buttons with Borders (RaisedBevelBorder) never paints the focus, under the Windows L&F only raised TextButtons don't paint.
    The default of true for the value FocusPainted is unchanged
    and they are all in the FocusTraversePolicy (without Borders it works fine).
    If you set Buttons or the surrounding panel with images or text opaque (without Borders) you face similar problems.
    This may caused by the reason that the layer, which is needed for the paint of the focus is never painted.
    But that's not the behavior I expected.
    Has anyone a clue to solve this problem or is it a bug?
    Greetings Michael

    Hi, I have modified your program a little bit to demonstrate the problem. Please replace the gif with any small image.
    setOpaque doesn't make any problems -- sorry (The focus seemed to be consumed by my Background).
    But the problem seems to be, if you shrink the buttons to their preferred sizes (That may the cause why the focus isn't so good visible, if you use pack).
    In my example it makes no difference.
    Thanks for your help.
    I'm looking forward to your reply.
    Greetings Michael

  • Albums don't work as expected

    New to itunes and am importing my CDs...
    1) An album like Actually where the artist is always Pet Shop Boys groups as one album as expected.
    2) An album like Into The Woods, various artists, does not group at all (all individual songs are not in same album).
    3) Some albums with various artists do group together under the same album correctly (not many).
    Question 1) Particularly for #2 above, how do you get albums to group together correctly?
    Questions 2) What does the 2nd column (after the art work) mean? It has a number in it, and for albums that group correctly, it makes sense, track 1, 2 etc. For for albums that don't droop, I will have a long song that says 15 for that number. There is a number column for track #. Additionally, the 2nd column cannot be hidden.
    Thanks!

  • After restoring 5S from 5, notifications from many news APPs don't work (no problem with my iphone 5 running iOS 7.0.2)

    I used iphone 5 and have updated it to iOS 7.0.2. Everything worked with it. I can receive all the notification from news APPs.
    After receiving iphone 5s, I set it up by restoring the backup from iphone 5. However, not all APPs were synced. Also, many notifications are not working especially with the news APPs I was using.
    The notification of those APPs affected are turned on in the notification center.
    I have restored iphone 5S to factory setting and set up again, but still not all the notifications are working.
    What should I do?

    A workaround is to reinstall lazy apps, mostly for those that were restored but don't appear on notification center, eg. Whatsapp. In my case I have more than 500 apps installed.
    We need a correct solution for this problem.
    I also had this problem on the past moving from 4s to 5.
    And now from 5 to 5s.
    The only notifications working after restore in my iPhone are those from Facebook.
