Premier Pro won't show up on PC desktop manager

I have a creative cloud membership and use it on my desktop PC and on my Mac laptop. I have already installed Premier Pro on the Mac, but when I went to install it on my PC today premier pro will not show up in my creative cloud desktop manager on my PC. When I try to download PP from the Adobe site, it brings up my PC desktop manager and nothing happens. But PP still shows up on my Mac's desktop manager and is still installed and working on the Mac. Am I missing something?

Premiere Pro is 64 bit only. So are other video apps such as After Effects.

Your Mac is probably a 64 bit system. I suspect your PC is 32 bit.

If your hardware/operating system does not meet the system requirements for the software then the software will not be available for download on that computer.

My external hard drive won't show up on the desktop!!

I bought a 250Go external hard disk at the same time as my alumnium iMac around september 2007. Since then I had no problems.
I also created partitions on my hard disk:
1 - Mac = Mac OS extended (Journaled) 202 Go
2 - PC = MS-DOS (Fat) 30 Go
When I turn on on my hard disk, both icons usually appear on my desktop but since yesterday, ONLY my PC icon appear.
I went in the Disk Utility and it seems that the MAC partition is always here but won't show up on the desktop. It's like it's become invisible or something.
Should I be worried? Because I use the MAC partition to back up all my files with Time Machine.
I find it annoying so anybody can help me out? Thanks!!

Patrick, I have same issue with my (Intel) MacBook's internal HD. Tried your Script solution but recv'd Systems Events ERROR "Can't set disk "MacBook HD" to true".
The (missing) HD is Boot Camp Partitioned and running Fusion. BTW, Fusion/WinXP will no longer open - "File not Found" error. Also, I didn't immediately notice the disappearance because my MacBook started booting from one of ext HD's (w/o me changing the startup drive).
Any ideas greatly appreciated. I haven't tried the Terminal solutions posted since I'm not Terminal savey.

CS3 Premier Pro Won't Start due to Komplete 5 .dll Loading...

Hi,
I'm running Komplete 5 by Native Instruments on a brand new Quad Core laptop that was built and tweaked by a pro audio company that specializes in configuring machines for musicians. The Win XP Professional system runs very well.
After installing Adobe CS3 Suite, I noticed that the only program that won't start properly now is Premier Pro. When try to start Premier Pro 3.0, the splash screen opens and I can see the Komplete 5 software programs (Kontakt 3, Massive, Pro 53...) trying to load their .dll files. After a few seconds, Premier Pro quits and gives me a Runtime Error.
I've searched around a little bit and can't even find the .dll's for Komplete 5 to try the suggested experiment of moving them away out of their folder and then to bring them back after (if) I get Premier Pro to start as I have indexing turned off on the drives (which I "think" is to keep the system speedy?) so searching manually has not been easy so far. I looked in the vst folder and they are not there, unless I am missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You likely have an issue with one, or more, of the NI .dll's. There have been several issues with these. Do a search of this forum (go back to get all Premiere versions) for "Native Instruments." There are serveral threads on moving the .dll's, so that Premiere doesn't try to load them. Premiere will attempt to load every registered VST/.dll, as you have found. NI's do cause PP to hang.

Have a macbook pro running osx lion, connected a kindle fire using micro usb to transfer pictures and the disk icon won't show up on the desktop. When I ran disk utilities the kindle does show up there. Any thoughts as to why it's not recognizing?

CS5 Premier Pro won't install

I'm on a Mac running OS10.9.3. The hard drive died and I replaced it, now I'm trying to reinstall all my software. All the other CS5 apps installed fine. But not Premier Pro. Can anyone help?

Please be aware CS5 was not designed for OS X 10.9 so it might give all kind of issues running this version on this version of the OS! The designed for os version is OS x 10.6!

Device won't show up on my desktop

Hi, everyone. I tried connecting my phone and my camera (individually at different times) to my Macbook Pro, but for some reason, neither device shows up on my desktop. I looked at my Finder preferences and "external disks" is checked off to show up on the desktop and on the sidebar. Neither device shows up under disk utility, but both of them show up on system profiler when I tried to connect them at separate times. I checked my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) and it says that it's connected as a media device, and when I connected my camera (Canon Powershot S90), my photos show up on iPhoto so I don't think it's really a problem with the removable devices I'm connecting to the computer. I'm not sure why my computer isn't showing either of these devices on my desktop because I've never had this problem before with either device on this particular computer.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hm...I've had my Canon camera for about 2 or 3 years now and every time I've connected it to my Macbook Pro, a new window pops up and it shows up on my desktop. This is the first time I haven't been able to find it anywhere on my desktop.
Also, I have an Android (not sure if that makes a difference) and again, I've connected it multiple times to this computer and every single time, it shows up on my desktop except this one time.

Snow Leopard won't Show up on the Desktop

I've an Intel Core Duo machine with 2 GB of memory
and enough free space on my drive but can't get Snow Leopard to show up on my Desktop.
Apple sent me 2 replacement discs to make sure the problem isn't the disc itself.
The CD drive works fine
At the moment I'm running OS 10.5.8

It does sound likely that the drive has failed, yes. You'll need to contact an Apple Store or authorized service center and ask what it would cost to confirm the diagnosis and replace the drive. It's possible for a user to replace the drive oneself, but the iMac is not designed for user service and can be a bit tricky (more so for some models that for others). If you want to look into it, though, you can find guides for doing so here:

You could also look into an external drive. Some at least can be booted from, though I don't know if all can. Someone else here may be able to recommend a specific unit, or you can ask Other World Computing; they're pretty knowledgable about such things and I'd trust what they told me:

Macbook pro won't show icon previews

Hey there Mac'cers,
Okay so ...at first I could see all my icons/thumbnails etc just fine and when i clicked on them they turned blue...well now I cannot see the preview of the thumbnails/icons and also when i click on them it is grey now not blue and I haven't touched any settings??
HELP!...images are all still there and openable just not showing thumbnails and is rather annoying...

QT PRO won't show MPEG 2

Twice purchased the Key for upgrading from 7.1.3 to QT Pro. In neither case am I able to see the MPEG 2 option in the "Export" menu.
Any suggestions?

After talking with an Apple tech (who couldn't understand why the MPEG 2 option is not showing for me) and spending some time on the phone with an associate of mine...who has the same program that DOES show the MPEG 2 option, the basic question remains unresolved.
1) Do you have iDVD installed on your platform. If not. that may be your problem. If yes, check your "System > Library > QuickTime" folder to see if the "QTMPEGExport.component" is installed.
2) Does your friend have iDVD installed or is he running an older system that may have had earlier versions of FCP, Toast, or QT 6 with MPEG-2 encoder package installs? Old QT MPEG-2 encoder package may not be compatible with QT 7. Know the playback component was modified -- I think between QT v6.3 and v6.4 or so.
As previously stated, QT and QT Pro as a standalone application is a "frame-to-frame" synchronized application. Without the support of additional components installed by other MPEG-2 Apple/third-party applications, it does not support an MPEG-2 export option. Further, I am somewhat disappointed that an Apple tech did not explain the basic QT MPEG-2 restrictions (see FAQs) or explain the circumstances under which MPEG-2 encoding capabilities are added to QT Pro.

Premier Pro won't load anymore..

..the splash screen loads fine..but just jumps back to my desktop. There are no error messages. I have been using Premier for months, this issues has come out of the blue..can anyone help?

I'm not sure what you mean by "is the license per CPU." Did you mean per OS platform? Anyway, the license is very flexible. Unlike prior perpetual license versions, which were platform-specific, CC allows you to install on both Mac and Windows. I'm not sure whether it specifies how many computers you can install CC applications on, but you can have it activated on only two systems at once.
