Premiere 10, and Canon rebel 3Ti Blurry!

I am using windows 7, and canon T31 film camera on the movie recording size is set at 1920 x 1080
I do not know what my settings should be regarding opening a new project, so please don't ask me what settings I am using, I am using whatever opens up on the software.
When i go to "share" which used to be export I guess, i share for other computers.  There is a message of "format of clips you are adding do not match the project settings format. For best results you should use the project presets that match your clips" When I chose, YES to this, i still get a blurry end result.
Please help.  I've got a great camera, great software, don't understand why this ins't working.

You say...
I do not know what my settings should be regarding opening a new project, so please don't ask me what settings I am using
AND
No one brave enought to answer???
AND
The settings are whatever pops up automatically
AND
don't understand why this ins't working
I'm sorry... I don't know you, but I am going to say what I've not seen anyone else say
If you are not able to read the help file to find out how to use the program, you may not be cut out to do video editing
You do not get into an automobile with a standard transmission and complain it does not drive well... after saying you do not know how to change gears so you just always drive in the same gear on all roads
For video editing you really need to READ and learn how to use the program
Saying "please don't ask" just is not going to work... for anyone here to help, we MUST ask what you are doing... and YOU must read and learn to help yourself
Different kinds of video require a different project setting to work properly
Do some reading and learn how to change gears... see below

  • Adobe Bridge CS4 and Canon Rebel T3

I purchased a Canon Rebel T3 this week after my Canon Rebel XS died on me.  Unfortunately, the T3 doesn't seem to be compatible with my CS4 Bridge when downloading images from the camera.  It is unable to convert the files to DNG.  Is there an update to CS4 that works with a Canon Rebel T3?  From what I can tell, only CS5 will work with my camera, and that's not an option for me.  In the meanwhile, I have downloaded the Adobe DNG Converter for my Mac, while useful, isn't as clean a process as the conversion happening within Bridge itself.
I've had a hell of a week with technical difficulties!  Thanks in advance for your help.

I have downloaded the Adobe DNG Converter for my Mac, while useful, isn't as clean a process as the conversion happening within Bridge itself.
If you have used Adobe Updater for CS4 and have the latest ACR plug in for CS4 that is all you can do. If your camera is not supported (and since CS5 is more then a year ago released every new dSLR from then on is supported for the CS5 converters) you have two options.
first is to upgrade to CS5
second is to just use the free DNG converter as you do now. (have no ability to test but maybe there is little change Photodownloader will let you convert the files to DNG so just give it a try).
But after having used DNG Converter and point Bridge to that folder you are able to work with the files as you used to do (rename, sort filter and adjust in ACR CS4). If you can't use Photodownloader for ingestion of files it is just a bit more work to get the same results in Bridge but it is possible

  • Canon Rebel 3ti EOS 600D and the video stops automatically

The Video automatically stops recording after a few seconds. I have a PNY Performance 16 GB 3.5hr HD VIdeo it also says 4 with a circle around it and I don't know if that means Class 4 or not ? I just got this camera a week ago. Can you please help ?.
    Denise

Good luck!  Incidentally, Canon does not specifically recommend a brand... but the SanDisk and Lexar brands seem to be the best (and even within these they have a variety of performance specs.)  e.g. "SanDisk Extreme" or "SanDisk Extreme Pro", etc.
I do see enough posts from people who have cards which are supposed to be fast enough... but sitll give them problems.  But the problems tend to go away when they buy a high quality brand.  For this reason, I tend to not mess around with budget cards -- sometimes saving a few bucks just isn't worth the grief.
Glad you are liking your new camera!

  • PSE Premiere 7 and Canon HD20

I am trying to determine whether PSE Premiere 7 will capture HD video. Based on the posts I have read, it looks like it is possible. I just want to verify that this is correct.
Also, if I create an HD DVD, does my DVD player have to be HD to play in HD or will it just play the video as standard. I have an HD television. I want to avoid any comptability problems.
    Thanks for your input.

Yes, Premiere Elements will capture HDV and AVCHD video. If the camcorder your referencing is the Canon HV20 HDV camcorder, the program will work great with it, assuming your computer has the power to run it.
Premiere Elements will not create an HD-DVD. In fact, HD-DVD is an archaic HD disc that no one is supporting.
The program will, however, burn a BluRay hi-def disc. And, yes, you will need a BluRay player to watch it.
The program will also burn a standard DVD, even from hi-def video.

  • IPhoto and Canon Rebel

    Hi,
I have recently purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T3. I am simply wondering if iPhoto 08 is capable of importing my RAW images in order for me to convert into DMG's with the Adobe converter. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

You'll need iPhoto 09 minimum for those Raws.

  • Connection malfunction between MacBookPro and Canon Rebel T3

    Hello,
My name is Mattie.  I've never had a problem transfereing data from my camera to my computer, but yesterday I recorded a very important presentation for a job interview and I can't transfer it to my computer.  Final Goal to get it uploaded to U tube, then send my new boss the link.  Every time I connect the two the computer reads 'No Cameral Detected' and the cameral shuts off.  Then the computer will say something about it not being compatble to the operating system.
    Thank  you!
    Mattie

    Hi Mattie,
I'm not sure which Mac OS you are running but there is a "System Information" utility on the Mac (how you access this depends on which version of OS X you are using) and it will indicate if the computer sees the camera attached via USB.
Also, what utility do you normally use to transfer data?  Is this a Canon utility such as EOS Utility (and which version) or are you using a 3rd party product (or Apple provided product)?
Depending on your MacBook Pro model, you may have an SD card slot in the side of the Mac.  If so, you can eject the card from the camera and insert it directly into the computer to copy images and video from the card (this is what I actually do most of the time only because the direct transfer feed with the card in the computer is faster than the USB speed.)

  • Downloading raw images from Canon Rebel XTi and problem with Border FX

Aperture no longer downloads raw images from my Canon 400D / Rebel Xti and installed Lexar Professional UDMA card. I am able to download images to my Dell laptop. This is a new phenomenon only occurring since about 10 days ago. I am currently able to download images from my Canon 5D.
Also, my computer has locked up 4 times today when I have been starting Border FX. I have seen a screen saying that I have to restart my computer by holding down the on button. I have the most recent version of the Border FX software.
    Any suggestions please?

Join the crowd! I just started to experience exactly the same thing on both of my systems. Apparently the latest raw camera drivers broke something related to Canon Rebel cameras. I'm using the Rebel XT.
I tried a quick experiment the other day. I shot a bunch of test photos forcing the camera to store them as JPEGs. I was able to download those without a problem. I then forced the camera back to raw mode and shot a few more pictures on the same memory card. The JPEGs that I was able to download previously no longer will download and neither will the raw files.
I tried reverting to the older camera raw driver on my notebook but for some reason it won't let me do that. I haven't tried reverting on the desktop yet.
Hopefully this problem is fixed quickly. I've got a ton of pictures from a recent vacation I'd like to off load.
By the way, this affects the iPhoto, Aperture and Image Capture apps.

  • HT3583 I just purchased a Canon Rebel T2i camera and need to know if Aperature 3 will support the Raw files from this camera

Will Aperture 3 support Canon Rebel T2i Raw picture format?  I just got the camera and am disappointed that their software does not yet work with the Lion operating system.  They said driver would be available in the first quarter of 2012 but when I checked it still is not on the list.  I will upgrade to Aperature 3 from Aperature 2 if it supports the Canon T2i Raw files.  Any input is appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • HT203088 I have the CANON REBEL T5 1200D, and when i connect it to my mac which is 10.10 the new OS X YOSEMITE it says that it "Cannot be used with this version of the operating system" why does it say that?

I have the CANON REBEL T5 1200D, and when i connect it to my mac which is 10.10 the new OS X YOSEMITE it says that it "Cannot be used with this version of the operating system" why does it say that if my camera is listed under the supported digital cameras for OS X YOSEMITE?

Put simply, the minimum system requirements for iTunes have changed. You need a Mac running at least OS X 10.6.8.
It's best you look online to see if your model of Mac can be upgraded to at least 10.6.8 "Snow Leopard". It should still be possible to order a copy of Snow Leopard if so.

  • I am using PSE 9. I had no problem opening my Raw files from my Canon Rebel XT  Now  I have a Rebel 5ti and pse 9 won't reconize the Cr2 files

I am using PSE 9. I had no problem opening my Raw files from my Canon Rebel XT  Now  I have a Rebel 5ti and pse 9 won't reconize the Cr2 files

    See this faq:
FAQ: Will Photoshop Elements work with my camera, or Why won't my raw files open?
That will explain why each new camera model uses its own raw format. (.CR2 does not indicate a format, only a Canon family of formats).
The first link tells you what version of camera raw is needed for your camera : https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
    You need ACR 7.4
The second link tells you which ACR versions are supported by Elements versions Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
    PSE9 supports version 6.5
Further down on that paper, you get links to download the free Adobe DNGconverter for Mac or Win.
This standalone software can batch convert a whole folder of raw files to the DNG raw file format that your present PSE9 can read.
Otherwise, you would have to upgrade to version 10 or later.

  • Have photoshop cs5 installed on desktop..got new Canon rebel T5i camera...cannot open RAW images...updated and installed plug-in...still now working.  Need help, please.

I have photoshop cs5 installed on desktop...got new Canon rebel T5i camera...cannot open RAW images...updated and installed plug-in...still not working...help please.

In any event, that camera was first supported by ACR version 7.4 which needs at least CS6 to run.  Naturally, all later versions support it too.
Your choice is either to upgrade your Photoshop, or to look for, download, install, launch and run the free, stand-alone Adobe DNG Converter 8.6 on each folder containing your raw Canon files to convert them first to raw DNGs that you can open in CS5.
In no case does an Adobe application belong "on your desktop".  The default install location should always be respected and left alone.

  • I have a canon rebel t3, i dropped it and the battery door fell out. Is it possible for it to work

So basically I have a canon rebel t3, I recently dropped it(not that hard) and the battery/memory door broke of. I put it back and it worked except I don't think it 100 percent worked. My camera haven't been working since that day. I'm not sure if ive seen the camera battery door inside the battery I can see the inside to where you connect the door kind of chipped. I tried to put it back in and unexspectdly the little part of the camera's battery door chipped. Is there any possible way for the camera to work without the battery door? will i have to get it repaired at a store for money? can there be any home-treatment i could do? THANKs

Sorry!   But it needs to be reapired by a service center.  There may be other issues inside you are not seeing right now and in the long run it will never be dependable until it is checked out.  Caneras don't like being droped, even a little, and they don't like being wet.  Two, no-no's.

  • HELP!: Canon Rebel XS Changing Settings Randomly and Not Taking Photos!!

PLEASE HELP! This is a very desperate attempt at reaching out for help before I THROW MY CAMERA AT THE WALL! Frustration level 1000 reached.  The problem: I power up my Canon Rebel XS (purchased in 2009 and treated like my baby), point it at the subject matter, press the shutter button to take my beautiful photo, and all hell breaks loose! The camera decides to change all the settings, usually the shutter speed. When it's in full auto mode, the shutter speed changes between 3 or 4 different options (depending on the settings of the photo) and then it never releases, resulting in no photo. I've tried holding down the button and pressing quickly, neither work.  So I've tried this in all settings: In Shutter Priority mode, the aperture changes randomly. In Aperture priority mode, (you guessed it!) shutter speed changes randomly. What changes in manual exposure mode? Exposure level... all on its own. OH -- I FORGOT TO MENTION, as they change, they BLINK! Whatever setting is randomly switching itself, it blinks. As if to taunt me and grab my attention -- "Hey, you! This is why I'm not taking the picture! HAHA!"  So honestly, if anyone has any insight, I would be EXTREMELY grateful. But I'm pretty sure it's possessed by an evil spirit intent on seeing me rip all of my hair out. >.<

What if we control the shooting conditions?  If you go outside on a sunny day, there would certainly be enough light for the camera to focus and take a shot.  Have you tried this? I ask this because if I attempt to take a photo in a situation where there is simply not enough light, the camera will do precisely what you are describing...   it has some limits to ISO, shutter speed, and aperture that it cannot exceed (it could in manual control, but will not in the auto or semi-auto modes.)   I've noticed that my camera doesn't want to exceed certain shutter speed limits, ISO limits, and of course the lens constrains the aperture values available.  Also, if the lens auto-focus is enabled and the camera is in "One Shot" focus mode (the default) it will not take an image until it can lock focus on at least one AF point. Give the camera enough light... and all of these problems go away. Shoot in Manual mode and all of these problems (except focus) also go away. If the camera is not moving (e.g. on a solid tripod) and the subject is not moving (e.g. a still scene) then you can take an exposure as long as necessary to get a shot -- but you may have to manually focus the lens if the lighting is poor and the subject lacks adequate contrast.
