PREMIERE 10 INSTALL PROBS

I purchased an Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 / Premiere Elements 10 package. Elements 10 went flawlessly with Disc 3 (Mac OS 10.7.4). Upon attempting Premiere 10, I have, three times, achieved 50% install and then I get the following error :
I have verified, repaired disk permissions, re-booted, cleared all running apps but NO GO. What is the deal. What can I do?

Your error did not post can you please click on the insert image option, it is picture of a camera, and select the image you are trying to display. Also I would recommend running the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to review your installation logs.

I have the same problem with my Adobe Premiere Elements 9! I also have a Mac. Always when I try to put a menu, it sends me an error message.
I know now that I'm not the only one...

CS6 Premiere install for school lab - installed without serialized

Our school district purchased CS6 Premiere Pro (30 seat license) this summer. I installed CS6 Premiere Pro from CD onto our master image that was updated, activated, sysprep'd and deployed with ghost to our lab computers. After deployment I noticed when logging into the labs as a student, I'm prompted to login to adobe.com and/or create an account. Since we have multiple students accessing these machines, this is not feasible.
I have since read that I should have created a serialized deployment with AAMEE.
All of the computers have booted twice and ran through sysprep at this point.
Is there a way that I can remotely activate the clients to remove the login nag? If I need to rebuild the image and re-deploy, I'm going to cost myself 2 days worth of work. I hope it doesn't come to that.

Use AAMEE 3.1 to create a serialization file. (3rd workflow of AAMEE 3.1). run this with appropiate parameters and admin privileges. This will serialize all the trial installs. Premiere install error: Run pre-install script

Hello, I'm coming across the following error when trying to install Premiere 5.5 on my MB Pro: The following install step failed run preinstall script for adobe setup contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Any idea of what may be causing this and how it may be resolved? I'm also running CS3 on the same computer if that helps.

We need to know the exact model of the Mac and which version of OSX. For all intents and purposes, you could simply not meet the system requirements.

Where did Premiere install?

I installed Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Family trial, but I can't find it anywhere. It's not in the Premiere Pro CS6 folder on my desktop. I think it might be somewhere in Program Files, but I don't know where to look.
(Running Windows XP, by the way)

Premiere Pro CS6 doesn't run on Win XP nor any other app in the "Premiere Pro Family" - they all require 64bit Win Vista or Win 7. So whatever you installed, it can in no way be any of that and even if you tried, you'd have gotten warnings before the install even proceeded.

i have a prob.
when i want to install Win XP Professional my computer hangs always after the screen where it says "press F6 for RAID / SCSI controllers"
but when i install win98 my compi works without any problems.
i don't know what i have to do..(is it the harddisk controller?? - i have changed 5 different controllers, but always the same: compi hangs :( )

Hi Majo,
I don't know what you mean when you say "I have changed 5 different controllers" do you mean you've changed the Mobo 5 times or are you using a PCI RAID card with your HD.
If you are using a PCI RAID card then you must install the drivers when XP asks for you to setup RAID/SCSI.
I Had similar probs with my K7N420D pro. I narrowed it down to one of two things:
1. On board Ethernet - XP didn't like the fact that I was plugged into an active cable modem whilst installing (XP).
2. PCI RAID Controller - XP didn't like this either and I had to remove it whilst installing XP - installed the card after succesful XP install.
BTW, I have a dual boot system and had no such difficulties with installing Windows ME.
May or may not help you - just a thought.

(F/W V/C are off, D/L is right number of bytes, uninstall processes followed, tried install to different user names, user has admin rights. ProductRegistry renamed , searched for other product reg files,restart before re-install. Install from console didnt seem to proceed correctly, followed the Cant start install er FAQ )

Can ping other PC's on network but they are not seeing tester either although they used to. I appreciate therefore its not a creator prob but its stopping me from getting Creator going.

Itunes 5: crashes my system when i import cd; install prob.

I installed itunes 5 and it completed installation but at the end a windows error saying it crashed came up, but itunes still installed and could open when i rebooted. i don't have the driver related to virus protection mentioned in another post.
then i tried to import a cd, four times. the first time, it froze my system and i had to reset the whole thing. the second time, it did the same thing. and the third and fourth times, it rebooted my computer without warning. my system is otherwise very stable. i'm running xp pro, with all the major updates.
i'm kinda po'd. i would have stayed with the last version if i had known.

The common denominator for me at least is that QT7 was part of iTunes 5.0.1 and is now paired with 4.9.
that's interesting. if nothing else works, we can try rolling you back to QT 6.5.2 to see if that helps matters.
let's have a look at your error logs.
right-click "My Computer", select "Manage", click on your event viewer.
we're looking in your System and Application logs for any error/warning events that are occurring at the time of any failed imports. (it would be particularly interesting also if you could also determine if any suspicious events

if you find suspicious-looking types of event, click on an example to bring up a small window. note down the

of the event, and report back with your findings.

ITunes 10 on Windows install prob solved

After a very frustrating experience trying to uninstall/reinstall iTunes 10 on a Vista machine using Norton, my difficulties were actually resolved by bypassing a Netgear wireless router.
I was repeatedly getting "invalid signature" upon downloading the iTunesSetup.exe regardless of firewalls/Norton being enabled/disabled.
I simply connected to my cable modem directly to the machine and re-established a connection.
Ran the exe as administrator and everything installed fine.
I hope this helps anyone experiencing the same frustration, and provides a possible solution.

Yes, that solution (to bypass wireless router and connect directly to a cable modem) has been posted many times over the past year.
Some sort of setting in the router is letting the file download enough to be considered "complete", but obviously something is not downloading correctly, or the error message wouldn't occur.
Nobody has ever posted back if updating Netgear drivers or fiddling with MTU settings fixes this.

SMC 1.0 Install Prob

On my MBP, the Apple System Profiler is showing SMC verion 1.2f7. What version does the 1.0 installer "install"? The problem I'm having is that the software, downloaded via SW update and directly from the downloads page will not install. The MBP will restart and won't install the firmware.
Is anyone else having this problem? What about running this in conjunction with boot camp?
I've done the traditional permissions repair and single user mode to do a file system check. Both are fine. The MBP is running 10.4.6.

was there a previous installation of Oracle product in that system by a diff user. In that case, the prev user would have created the oraInventory directory and hence you are facing problems writing into that.
Delete the following files and try starting the installer.
/etc/oraInst.loc /etc/oratab

E61i Application install probs

I recently bought the e61i. I updated the firmware to 2.0633.65.01 which of course meant i had to update the blackberry software to work on phone. Blackberry works fine. only problem is everytime i have to re-start phone, it hangs for a while trying to install an application. Error message says that cannot an application and to check on App Manager. When i check there it says that "Launcher_BB_7172_PA.sis Not installed". I assume that this is the preinstalled BB which is no longer used by phone. is this correct? App manager will not let me remove it cos "Not Installed" i guess. can anyone help?

Update. I got around to making new disks from my saved images. Lucky I copied the originals. I moved the images to my MacBook Pro, just because I wanted to give my DVD drive a workout. I know my DVD drive is working fine because I just reinstalled MS Office X 2003, original Disk and it installed perfectly. I took a fresh Maxell CD-R and slipped it into the drive. The Drive spit it out without mounting. I tried a second, same issue. I then took the disks to my Power Mac. It still has the original Super Drive plus a second much newer Super Drive. The disks mounted perfectly on both drives. Leopard 10.5.8. My MacBook Pro is using SL 10.6.5. I made two new CD's on the Power Mac from the images. I then slipped the disks into the MacBook Pro and they mounted perfectly. I know my copies of the original disks were pre Leopard, possibly Panther. I'm puzzled once again about the quirky nature of my Macbook Pro's Super Drive in not recognizing the two fresh Maxell CD's Any thoughts? Should I be using RW disks and reformatting?

Yes you do. You need to install Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition. The database you create needs to be running in order for the 9iAS installation to work. The database tablespace needs to be at least 150 MB.
