Premiere 7.2.2 not importing all audio channels of mpeg-ts

I'm trying to work on an MPEG-TS, but Premiere is only importing the audio related to the first PID.  There are 6 PIDs in this file, each with two channels of audio, for 12 channels total.  But Premiere only sees the first two.  If I open the file up in Telestream Switch I see all 12 channels.  MediaInfo output is below, any thoughts?  Is this a bug in Premiere?  An import setting I've missed?

Not certain about HDV but using DV it used to work something like this ...
- Log the clip then do your capture of the video and Ch 1+2
- In the Log and Capture window select the Clip Settings Tab
Set Capture to AUDIO ONLY and the AUDIO FORMAT to Ch 3 + Ch 4
- Right clic on the clip in the Browser and Select 'Batch Capture'.
- in the Batch Capture dialog box, uncheck 'Use Logged Clip Settings'
click ok and away you go.
in the fwiw catagory, on some cameras, in order to hold 4 channels of audio it will be recorded in 32k/12bit format. It will not be happy in FCP. You may want to up rez it to 48k/16bit in Quicktime before using it. But you probably knew that.
good luck.

  • Premiere not showing all audio tracks in video file?

    Hello,
The short version of my issue is that I am not seeing all audio tracks in my imported AVI video. I know they are there, but only one track is showing.
    Longer version:
I have an application called Action! that is used for recording games. There is a setting on this application that allows you to record your microphone as a separate audio track.  I made a 15 minute video using this. If i play this video in Action!'s media player, i can switch between my game track and my microphone track. If I play the video file in Windows Media Player, it plays both tracks. When I import this video file into Premiere (or Soundbooth) it only shows the Game track and not the microphone track. I cannot find a way to get to the microphone track. It just seems like it doesnt exist. Any thoughts?
    Thanks in advance

  • New photo app does not import all of my photos from iphoto library

I have just installed  10.10.3 on my Macbook and the new photo app does not import all of my photos from iphoto library. I have about 3200 photos in the library and only 2300 are presented for import. I only have 1 library so I didn't choose the wrong one. Any suggestions?

Upon closer inspection it appears that the missing photos are in a folder called IPhoto Library.  This folder is greyed out when I choose the import folder.
When I use 'show package contents' it reveals the missing photos (below).  Why is my iphoto library so scrambled!  Thanks for any insight.

  • Aperture 3.2.1 not importing all photos from card reader

Aperture is not importing all photos from the card reader, i tried importing 720 photos and it was only seeing 480 photos, the card reader stopped reading, aperture was saying "loading assets", still,  like if it was still reading the card. and the first time it loaded the pictures the import button was not availllable once not all the photos were not all loaded when the loading assets message stopped.
i  had to force quit aperture, ejecting the card from the reader, aperture, on relaunch was still seeing the card as present but it was ejected from the finder , and  physicaly on the desk.
i had to go in Apple Acticity monitor to find a process that was still active , someting called mass media and had to stop it.
my work around was manually copying the content of the card on the external hard drive about  9 gig of photos on the external HDD where i keep my aperture photos.  copying 9 gig of photos over usb2 took an 50 minutes.
i had jpegs raw and some videos in 720p
    i have a MBP 2.26 ghz 13"
a Canon 7D and a Lexar 16 gig compact flash card.

I'm sorry, but I can't understand this paragraph. It seems like the "loading assets" message stopped but not all the photos were showing up in the import window. Were any of the photos duplicates? How long did you wait until you forced quit?
When you say "the first time it loadedthe pictures" you mean you attempted before and got the same result?
It does seem like it is either getting stuck on an image or is taking a long time to read the images off the card since the import button is not available...
When you copied the files to your external drive, you were then able to import to Aperture?
    Thanks

  • ITunes does not import all artists/songs from folder

I have had several issues with getting itunes to import all the music I have. I have selected the folder that I want itunes to be associated with. But when I go into itunes not all the artists imported. However, if I select add a folder, and then the artist, it imports the artist. I have tried to add the whole folder again, but still does not import all the artist/songs. At first I didn't think that I had imported the CDto the folder, but then when I went into my music folder it was there.
A couple of times when I have opened iTunes it was like starting over. I lost my playlists. I am not as concerned in getting those back as long as I won't lose all the changes I am now making. We also own two iPod shuffles, don't know if that makes a difference.
    Thanks inadvance for any information!

I had a similar problem with a Jimmy Buffett album,I sent the iTunes store an e-mail described the problem including the album title and receipt number and within 24 hours they responded and had done a "reset" and problem solved.
    Give it a try

  • Iphoto does not import all items from camera

I have been importing photos into Iphoto from my canon SD300. I have noticed that on occaissions it has skipped a few files while importing. In particular it has skipped movie clips. When the camera is connected Iphoto says it is ready to import and tells you the number of images and movie clips, and it recognizes all of them. However, once the import function is over on the last occaision I noticed that two clips and one image was not imported. I manage to get the missed image/clips by inserting the memeroy card in a card reader and dragging the missed image/movie clips into Iphoto.
I would appreciate if any one knows why Iphoto does not import all the items from the camera even though it recognizes that they exist and how I should fix this problem.
    Thanks.

    Hi imac2,
I don't know why iPhoto skips some of your files. I can tell you that I use Image Capture to download my images and video clips. My video clips from my Canon can get quite large (over 1010 mg). iPhoto can import smaller clips that digital camera made, but now a lot of the newer camera can create very large video clips and I don't think iPhoto can handle importing them.
Once I download my images and video clips I put them in dated folders. This makes it much easier to back up the video clips and images. I then import the folders of images into iPhoto. I like having more control.

  • Premiere Pro CC won't import ANY audio file, be it an mp3 or part of an mp4 video (or other formats)

Any audio or video file I drop in to premiere will almost immediately pop up with the window
    Audio Conforming Error
    Error compiling movie.
    Unknown error.
When I check the error/event log (little red X in the bottom corner) that window says:
"11/21/14 09:47:28  A disk error occurred while attempting to access the following files:
    \\ipsse01\home$\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files\filename.mp3 44100.cfa"
(The actual file is on my desktop)
This happens with everything, even the stock audio files Windows comes with in the "Sample Music" folder, I tried those too to no avail.
I'm at a complete loss. I'm new to premiere pro but these are generic file formats so I don't think the issue is with the file. I haven't tried to reinstall because I'd have to go to our one network administrator/IT person (who also is the accountant for the company) so she can enter the admin user name/password in the pop up box, and she's often so busy. I'm trying to avoid bugging her if I don't need to (which unfortunately I tend to still have to do a lot)
    For reference I'm running Win7 Professional 64-bit, 8GB RAM, and an i7-4610M CPU @ 3.00 GHz.

    Hi Neila,
    Neila@IPSUMM wrote:
Thanks for responding, but I work for a very small company and since I'm the only one who needs CC, I have the personal version installed.
Also this appears to be a blanket issue with all audio and video file formats, thus not likely a codec issue since the files I've tried so far should be covered by premiere's compatibility, the even play in windows media player with no issue.
Video itself plays fine, but any audio attached to a video, or just plain audio files will not import no matter what I try.
    Sorry my info didn't help.
    Two things to try.
Create a brand new project and test if you can import the problematic files.
If that does not work, change the name of the folder that contains your media files. Then try to import.
    Let us know what happens.
    Thanks,

  • Why does Adobe Premiere CS6 slow playback after importing some audio?

    Adobe Premiere CS6.0 v6.0.2
    Mac Pro:
    1, 4 core - 3.2ghz CPU
    16gb ram (4 sticks of 4gb @ 1066 MHz)
1 Tb dive with OS/Apps on
    2Tb 7200 RPM media drive
    ATI Radeon HD 5770
    Sequence:
    30Fps
    1920x1080
    Media:
mostly .MFX files from a Canon XF100 however these clips commonly play nice with Premiere.
    Issue:
After importing some audio clips (.wav/.mp3, possibly other extensions) to the timeline on occasion the video playback will become choppy and the audio will slow down 3% creating any voices in the video to become deeper and slows down.  Choppy video playback as well.  The problem is very annoying but  it can be temporarily fixed with a computer restart but it will come back.
    Things to note:
Creating a rendered ID (Exporting the movie out to a .mov) the slowed choppy video does not appear in the final movie.
    Temp. Solution:
The only way I can fix this problem is by restarting the computer.  Simply restarting Adobe Premiere and closing any non-essential applications does not fix the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this are much apperciated.

Try converting your MP3 to AIFF ,QT or something else Macs like. See if that helps.

  • Firefox will not import all of the favorites from Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 64-bit OS!

There is another post about this problem in the forum, but the answer does not work. This is the first time I've ever encountered this problem when installing/using Firefox on my desktop PC. I have a new (3/25/14) Dell XPS 8700 desktop tower with Windows 8.1 64-bit (and now Update 1) installed, along with Internet Explorer 11. I previously had a 2005 Dell Dimension 5100 desktop tower running XP Pro SP3 32-bit, which never had any issues running Firefox, but has since died. I used to run Firefox as my default browser, but not any longer. Now, during the install process, Firefox asks if you want to import from Internet Explorer, as it has always done before. I chose yes, and it reported that it pulled everything in from IE. However, it only imported my favorites folders whose names start with a numeral, and then A, B, and onward down the alphabet, but it doesn't import anything more after getting to the folders whose names start with E. So, all of my remaining Favorites folders whose names start with F, G, and forward down the alphabet from there are all absent from Firefox's Bookmarks. I also tried importing the favorites after installing Firefox, which I don't prefer since Firefox installs a folder called Internet Explorer to go to first to get to your favorites. However, still, Firefox only brought in my favorites folders from A to E, and stopped there again. I do not see any way to export my favorites from Internet Explorer (there is no import/export option under favorites, nor anywhere else in IE 11). Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox resulted in the same problem, even after making sure to delete my settings, etc., in the process. Please update Firefox's installation executable so it's able to import ALL of Internet Explorer 11's favorites folders and their contents, complete, as it has always done before. Please contact me when the corrected executable to install Firefox properly is ready for download. Thank you.

If there are problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
If you do not have the menu bar in IE then right-click the toolbar at the top to enable the Menu Bar.
*Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html):<br>File > Import and Export
*Import the HTML file in Firefox:<br>Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML
See "Import from another browser" and "Import from file":

Have you resolve the multi channel export?

  • Aperture does not import all files in folder.

I have a folder with 3460 images.  They are a combination of NEF, TIF, and PSD and xmp files.
When it was finished importing it said it had imported the 3460 images; however, there are only 3278 images showing.
I tried starting a new library, and importing the same folder again.  Again, I got 3278 images.
If I use the Finder and go to the folder, it shows 3496 files; however, 36 of those are .xmp files.
Any idea how I can check to see which files are not importing?  Or what I can do to get these 182 files in Aperture?
    Many thanks for any help.

Could be just chasing a ghost, but at least we'll know we don't have to capture it.  Let's do two things to determine how many Images Aperture thinks are in the Library.
    1.)
Select the container "Photos" listed near the top of the Library Inspector.
Clear the filter.  (In Browser view, click the magnifying glass icon _inside_ the search field, and select "Show all" from the dropdown menu.)
Deselect all.  ("Edit ▹ Deselect All".)
Expand all Stacks.  ("Stacks ▹ Open all Stacks".)
What does Aperture report in the bottom border of the Browser?  Should be something like "1234 items displayed".
    2.)
    Close Aperture.
"{option}+{click}" the Aperture Dock icon.  (Hold {option} down until the dialog shows up.)
Select your Library from the list.
What does Aperture report below the list of Libraries (you may have only one Library in the list)?  Should be something like "1234 versions, 1234 originals".

  • Premiere Pro CC will not import .mov files

Having issues with Premiere Pro CC, I cannot import .MOV files created with my Canon 6D.
If I try to import the files, I get a very generic "File format not supported" error msg.
This is a new install of Premiere CC on a new computer. I was able to import them using Premiere Pro CC on the old computer.
Quicktime will play these files fine on my new computer.
Premiere Pro CS6 will import these files on the new computer.
Premiere Pro CC would open them fine on my old computer.
I'm not even sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
    Here are my system details:
    OSX 10.9.3
    new Mac Pro
    3Ghz 8-Core Xeon E5
    64 GB RAM
Files are on external G-Tech Thunderbolt drive.

That was I was thinking at first, but if Premiere CS6 (installed on the same computer) imports and plays them, they must be on the system, no?
I really do not want to transcode. I have an existing project that uses the videos and the project on the new system will not import them or re-link to the videos. Really trying to get away from having to re-create the project and re-edit.
    Thanks!

  • Does not import all JPG photos from local folders

    Hi,
Using Lightroom 5.3 under Windows 7.
Photos are located on local disk.
I received a selection of photos from our research project which I want to import.
Most of the photos have been imported correctly.
However, import of some 500 photos fails.
"synchronize folder" detects the new photos (501)
"synchronize" command reports that "no photos or videos were found to import"
Windows security settings on the files are all the same (inherit from parent folder).
Disk has enough empty space left (56 GB)
The photos are in Jpeg format, typically around 500 to 2000 kB each.
Produced from Photoshop CS5, up to 3267x2244 pixels at 300 dpi.
Photos open correct in other viewers.
    Are the any limitations to
    - folder and file name length?
    - spaces in file names?
    Thanks in advance,
    Roger.

JPGs will not import for one of the following reasons
you have shot JPG+RAW on your camera and the Lightroom option is set only to recognize the RAWs but not the JPGs from the pair
the JPGs have previously been imported into Lightroom, and so Synchronize or Import will not import them a second time (nor is there a good reason to import them a second time).

  • Photos did not import all my iPhoto images

I have an iPhotos Library containing over 33,000 photos. When I attempted to import them into the new Photos app only 22,000 came across. I tried to open the old library again with iPhoto using the library in the same folder (Pictures) but the same photos were missing. Photos had obviously done something ,to not only fail to import all my images into the new library but had also removed them from my existing iPhoto Library as well. I suspect that there is a problem with Photos creating a large SQL database. I have repeated this a second time but with the same result.
The only work around I can find is to delete both the iPhoto and Photos libraries from the folder and recover yesterday's iPhoto library backup from Time Machine. Now when I go back to iPhoto all my photos are there again. This means that I have to keep using iPhotos and not continue with Photos until this problem is fixed.
Does anyone else have an answer?

Try repairing the iPhoto Library and see if that comes over correctly.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Cisco PCA contacts not importing all of them

Trying to get contacts imported into Cisco PCA (Cisco Unity Personal Communications Assistant) so we have certain users call by voice command...
I am able to get most of the contacts in, but only about 50% will import from Exchange.  I cannot figure out why others are not importing.  I cannot find anything obvious different between the contacts.

So after much back and forth with TAC and getting the right people involved, there's a hard limit of 150 on Cisco's side.  We are putting in a PER with our partner, but I'm guessing this is a "don't hold your breath" situation  Its too bad this isn't documented anywhere and wasted a lot of my time and their time.
