Premiere CC 2014 Freeing on Export

Premiere CC 2014 Freezing at 37% everytimr I try to export on Export running on Windows. Wha could be the problem.

Well - as for my original problem -
I’ve made some testing and for now had no real progress as far as normal exporting.
1 .The mercury GPU is working on all testing
2. For a 75 minutes of Panasonic MTS with very basic transitions - exporting to AVI DV PAL wide and to MPEG2-DVD Pal - more the 3 hours
3. Tried same footage with maximum render quality - same results.
4. Tried with use previews - same results.  (The project has the yellow line; I did not try to render into green)
5. In some cases, when trying to export to other formats, I received “error compiling movie” this seems to be related to the maximum render quality switch - I have a feeling that this has something to do with the GPU acceleration.
Now as I write this message – I am trying something new:
I marked the “match sequence settings” on the top of the export windows” this yielded a “new” exporting format name “mpeg preview” that has same frame size ,frame rate and field order as the original footage”
It worked fast and was ready in about 20 minutes or so.
Using the AME to convert this to mpeg2 DVD also was fast.
The only question – what will be the final quality when burning DVD?!
I can’t answer that now since I have a burner problem and only tomorrow I will be able to replace it and gaze on the results of this experiment.
I will, of course, update as soon as I can.
I do hope someone (adobe guys?!) will do something about solving these frustrating issue.

  • Premiere CC 2014 crashes when exporting via the Queue

Having issues exporting from Premiere CC 2014 via the "Queue".
    My system:
    Dell Precision T5600 Workstation
    Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
    Xeon E5-2680 @ 2.7 GHz processor
Nvidia Quadro 4000 graphics card, driver ver 347.25
    32 GB RAM
    Creative Cloud 2014
Premiere Pro CC (2014) Up to date
Media Encoder CC (2014) Up to date
Exporting via the Queue has work just fine in the past.  Had this issue awhile back and cleared some cashed files which fixed the problem but don't remember what I did.   I have uninstalled and re-installed Premiere.  This took care of the problem for awhile, but now the same issue has cropped up again.
Symptoms: When exporting a sequence from Premiere, clicking "Queue" launches Media Encoder but it doesn't completely hand off the sequence to Media Encoder.  Premiere locks up, leaving a small blank window open named "Export Media (Not Responding)".  It never completes the hand over to the Media Encoder queue.  If I reverse the process by launching Media Encoder and import the same Premiere timeline directly into the Media Encoder queue, it loads and renders just fine.  If I do an "Export" from Premiere, it works just fine.  This seems to indicate something is going on with the exchange between Premiere and Media Encoder.  I have this issues on multiple projects.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Dave

I'm not clear why you couldn't run it in Administrator mode ... right-click the program icon, Properties -> Compatibility, near the bottom, run in administrator mode ...

  • Premiere CC 2014 Freezing during Export

Hey everyone, I tried to look for a post of this issue, but none seem to be quite the same as this. Whenever I go to export my file, my entire system locks up. I've tried leaving it for upwards of 40 minutes and it does not come back. The very few times I have gotten it to export, it goes smoothly, within 5 minutes or so.
I have just last week updated my Premiere CC to the most current update (8.0.0 (169) build).
I am running Windows 7 Professional
the source files are .MOV, but I apologize that's about as much info as I know how to give on that right now.
I am not getting any error message, the system is simply locking up. When I reenter the program after rebooting my system, I do get a failure to launch the program. After that I am able to get back in.
I have tried multiple types of files to export to, and switched up settings as well.
This has worked only twice. 98% failure rate, I'd say at this point.
I have tried while running only Premiere, and I have tried with Chrome open, as well as some other software.
I am using an AMD Radeon R7 200 series graphics card
i have a dedicated 5.9 GB of RAM for Premiere to use
I have an AMD FX-8350 Processor
if anyone can shed some light on this situation it would be fantastic. My free trial is almost up, and if I can't get this to work, I obviously will not be subscribing to the CC services.
    Thanks.
and please let me know if there is anymore information I should provide!

  • Has Premiere Pro 2014 dropped FLV export?

Or do I have a bug?
If it has been dropped (hey THANKS adobe) is there a workaround? I need to do this.
    Frank

It was actually dropped about a year ago in the 7.1 update.
    Can't import FLV files
That link actually says they dropped import but PR would still export flv.
Is flv export now gone from PR CC 2014?

  • Video card GeForce 820m is compatible with CUDA in Premiere CC 2014?

Hello, I bought an Asus notebook and I wonder if the GeForce 820m graphics card is compatible with CUDA in Premiere CC 2014? Tks.

    Export
    Format: H.264
Preset: YouTube (make sure this matches the dimensions of your sequence)
You could further adjust the Target Bitrate but the preset is already setup for a good quality file for upload.

  • How to export a video at a moderate certain format and size in premiere CC 2014: No Huge File Results!

I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere, CC 2014 but whenever I want to render and export a video that is typically 70 megabytes in size I can't seem to always see how big the file will end up being for all the formats and I don't want to end up with a video larger than 250 to 300 megabytes in size just for the extremely best or highest quality even though I want the video to be well polished and in better quality than I usually get thee, These videos are usually imported as mp4. What file version of mp4 or otherwise would give me an originally imported video of 70 megabytes an output of no more than or around 300 megabytes or even less without compromsing video quality? I don't want a huge file size as I am uploading it to my YouTube channel via their web interface on another person's machine and they don't have Premiere and only has a DSL connection. So what video output settings should I use for a good quality video that isn't smaller than the original but the same size or a bit higher and not extremely large like MOVs and sometimes mp4s usually are depending on what you do to it and it is outputted.?

    Export
    Format: H.264

  • Black frames after export in Premiere CC 2014

    Hi,
I am getting black frames in my exported video from Premiere CC 2014 and Media Encoder CC 2014. This is my first project in the CC 2014 suite, but in CC I never had this problem. When exporting directly from Premiere or queued from Media Encoder, black frames appear at random through out my video. I am using presets H264 HD 720 29.97 and Vimeo 720 29.97. My sequence is ProRes 422 1080 29.97. I am downscaling the final product for online.
I am making no changes to the process at all. Both formats of h264 give me black frames. Has anyone else had this issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have also now exported to QuickTime ProRes 720 29.97 and H264 1080 20.97 and still get black frames in the final export. I am using Premiere v8.1 and Media Encoder 8.1.0.122.

  • Premiere cc 2014 don't let me export thru media encoder its stop and close the software after few min

premiere cc 2014 don't let me export thru media encoder its stop and close the software after few min

Peferling... I have a positive update! I went to the area that typically made things die. I noticed it was at the tail end of where I inserted a sequence into another sequence. I also noticed I had three tracks in that section with graphics. So I copied all the tracks from the inserted sequence... then removed the inserted sequence and re-inserted the actual tracks. At this point I no longer had an inserted sequence. I then simplified the three tracks of graphics into one. Re-applied my transitions and did last tweaking. I once again tried exporting as H.264 HD... et voila! It worked! Something must have been breaking it.
For now I'm okay and have been able to export into other formats. I want to thank you so much for your input. Regards, Nelson

  • Premiere CC 2014 Export

    Hi There
Have found that Premiere CC 2014 is buggy when it comes to exporting. Premiere hangs when sending sequences to Media Encoder and often Media Encoder 2014 crashes while rendering.
I have to play a game of trial and error when it comes to exporting. I first try sending to Media Encoder and Premiere crashes so export directly from Premiere and sometimes that crashes.
On another note I have found that After Effects 2014 aborts render when you switch to another app to do other work. You hear the render complete chime, and the render queue says it is done, but when you check the rendered movie the render did not complete.
I'll switch back to the previous versions until I can find a solution.
    cheers

  • I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014.

I am having trouble exporting closed captions from premiere cc 2014. I see them in the program monitor but after i export and try to playback in either quicktime or VLC i get to embedded captions. I eve tried the side car file and embedded with compressor and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
I only used compressor because i switched from final cut to adobe. easy fellas!

I have latest QT version, do i need to go back to 7? I have tried VLC also, i usually use that to check CC in mpeg files. I am exporting a QT H.264 for just testing purposes, I need a prores HQ, also this is SD so my sequences are set to 720x486.

  • Premiere CC 2014 eating up RAM

When I work in Premiere CC 2014.1, as was the case in prior versions, it is soaking up my RAM.  Below are screen shots of when I first open Premiere, up to about 10 minutes later, when almost all of my available memory is shown as used (Premiere gets pokey when working in the timeline at that point).  I have no other programs open.
    I'm on a 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon mid 2010 Mac Pro
    32 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2048 MB (this card is a recent upgrade...was having the same issue with the previous ATI Radeon)
    OS 10.9.5
    Apple Pro Res 422 media
I have Preferences>Memory set to optimize for Memory and have 28GB available to Premiere.
I'm not using any third party plugins on the timelines I'm working on (nor any effects), though I do have plugins loaded.
I have had this issue when working on my internal Seagate 7200RPM drives as well as my external eSata RAID drives.
Does anyone else have this issue?  Any thoughts as to what might be happening?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Premiere Pro CC 2014 also freezes when I try to export. I do not get any error messages, it just freezes and I have to restart my computer. The only way I can render is to Queue to Media Encoder CC 2014.
I have tried posting my problem many times but this Community Forums will not accept my post and keeps telling me to 'try again later .m4'.

  • Premiere CC 2014 freezes while editing

I'm not sure how common this is, but I know others have complained about Premiere CC 2014 crashing their systems. For me, it freezes after editing for a while. During playback the video will freeze while the audio continues. Eventually the entire program will crash.
Its a shame because there is no way to export this project to Premiere CC, but I can't work this way. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Never had any trouble running any other application on my system. My coworkers have the same issue.

Please check this blog post. Updating from Time Machine can cause this issue: Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later).

  • What is the best PC laptop to use with Premiere Pro 2014?

I'm excited that I get to buy a NEW LAPTOP!!!
I'm editing a documentary with tons of footage.  I'll use external SSD drive for files.
What is the best PC laptop to get for editing movies on Premiere Pro 2014?
I can spend up to $1500
Thanks SO MUCH for your help!!!!

premiere will run fine with the 7200rpm hdd. while editing, if your hdd/ssd isn't fast enough it will stutter and skip as it cant feed the data fast enough to premiere. thats with high bitrate footage, if you are using low bitrate footage the 7200rpm might work ok to hold your footage too. odds are that external samsung ssd will be fast enough to hold the media, project cache and any preview files. you shouldn't need another external hdd for export/render.
the ssd for internal will let windows boot faster and let programs open and close faster. once windows is loaded and programs are opened, they load into ram. there is little to be gained after that for ssd/hdd speeds while using most programs.
