Premiere CC 7.2.1 fails to update - all other apps update fine

I keep gettingthe error - U44M1P7 - but ONLY on  Premiere all other apps update all the time - been over a week now - I have deleted the latest Premeire Cc log ifle, and repaired permissions 4 times inthe last week

  • Trying to update The Age and also eBay (both Australian app) using my Australian iTunes ID, and it says I must switch to the US store? All other app updates are fine??? Help!!

    As above, I have been trying to update The Age newspaper app which I have been using for ages- it's an Australian app and I have an Australian iTunes ID. It's wont let me update and says my account is invalid and I must switch to the US store? This also happens when trying to update my eBay app?? All my other app updates are fine?? Why is it ding this and how do I get around it?? I don't want a US iTunes account and shouldn't have to get one just to update this app???

    Hi, Lucy.
    This is a tricky one and I could see where it could be an issue as this App is also available in the US store.  I would recommend making sure it is in your purchases via the article below on your computer.  If so, try deleting the application from your iPhone or iPad and download it again free of charge via the purchased section in the App Store.  Also, see if you can update the application on your computer and sync it over.

  • Creative Clouod Update on Photoshop CS6 keeps failing.  All other apps update okay.

    All the apps I have in the Creative Cloud suite update fine, with the exception of CS6.  Each time I try, it fails, and none of the instructions seem to do the trick.

    Eolivia3 do you receive any specific error messages?  I would recommend reviewing the applicable installation log files for the update for errors.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Install Failed - all other apps installed fine

    I am rebuilding my G5. I tried installing iLife 08 and most everything went fine, however iPhoto will not install. The message is "Install Failed The source media you are installing from is damaged. Try installing from a different copy of the source media or contact the manufacturer for a replacement."
    OK, so I called Apple and they wouldn't send me a new disc and wanted to charge me the $40 odd dollars to talk with them.
    The disk looks pristine - it's a family pack, and I've only installed on 3 computers, so I know it has worked. Anyone have any ideas what I should do? I've got a huge amount of photos stuck in iphoto backup that I need access to.

    Try using Pacifist to find, extract and install just iPhoto from the iLife 08 disk. It might succeed where the Apple installer failed.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
    Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

    Similar threads solve this problem by either creating a new administrator identity, which allows one to update applications, or changing the keychain prefs to Best attempt.  My issue was solved by adding a new admin user, and then updating the apps from the App store using the new identity.  Under my orginal user identity the keychain app would crash when I attempted to open Prefs.  After creating a new identity and updating the applications (iPhoto, etc) I found I was able to open the keychain Prefs logged into my orginal identity.

    I have posted this quite a few times and some of these suggestions have worked for others in the past. See if anything works for you.
    1. Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
    2. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    3. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
    4. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
    Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
    5. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. You can also dete apps in Settings>General>Usage>Storage.
    6. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
    7. If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

    I followed all the setting above 1.2.3.4.5.6,the only difference is i turned the "enable 3G" OFF(Settings>>General>>Cellular Data>>Enable 3G>>OFF),but it keep ON before now.
    seriously,i am not sure if the "enable 3G"causes this problem,but it really happened to me,so you guys can try if you have the same problem,

    If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad?  If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

    If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.
    You can also download the programs again.
    If you live in a country that supports re-downloading apps then you can re-download them.  You can refer to this article for more help.

    Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

    Change the App Store country -
    Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.

    You can download app updates on your computer's iTunes and then sync those updates to your device(s) - that is the computer that you sync the device(s) to ?
    When you connect a device to a computer's iTunes, then on its Apps tab you should be able to scroll through the listbox of apps and click the 'Update' button next to the apps that have updates on your computer that you want to sync to the device, and then click the Apply/Sync button bottom right of the screen.

    It seems you are having issues downloading an application from the App Store. To troubleshoot this issue, let’s follow the steps for iTunes Store connectivity:
    First, try signing out of your account in Settings > iTunes & App Store. Once signed out, go ahead and restart your device. Once your device has restarted, sign back in to the iTunes Store and try to download the update.
