Premiere CC and Encore CS6

It appers that there is no Encore CC version and it cannot dynamicly link to Premiere CC kindof a huge kink in my workflow! Anyone else having this issue? For a work around i exported my timeline in media encoder using the DVD presets.

I just went here: https://creative.adobe.com/products/premiere and note that there's a drop-down menu - located under the text " "In this version" - where you can choose to download CS6. You download the entire suite, then discard (uninstall) everything except Encore. It should work.
I agree that it's annoying. Let's say there becomes a 4K version of Blu-Ray...how are we going to write them? Adobe owes us to acquire a new source of this capability. I know the problem is a licensing one with Encore - the company that developed Scenarist (on which Encore is based) sold it to a company called Rovi that has no intention of further developing it or licensing it to Adobe. That's not Adobe's fault. However, I understand Sony has a product that continues support; perhaps Adobe needs a new partner in this?
For the moment, I believe you'll get Encore downloaded and working. I've found that the lack of dynamic link works in my favor. Encore used to make its own choices regarding transcoding and they didn't always look good. I use the export settings in PPro and fine-tune the results so that they just fit the disc. Right now I'm editing and transcoding performances of MIKADO and MADAMA BUTTERFLY for Amore Opera here in New York City (took the videos in 4K with my new FDR-AX100 camcorder and edited in pans, zooms, cuts and dissolves...from the ONE camera, to output in HD!)...BUTTERFLY is 2 hours 15 minutes and it's a challenge but I found settings that work very well indeed. Switching audio from PCM to AC3, then adjusting the target bitrate until the file size is JUST under the max (the offered file size estimate is just that, an estimate, often on the small side so I sometimes have to transcode more than once. I also use "Wide Progressive" exclusively, and Encore with the Dynamic Link wouldn't make a file that way that I could use. The look is FAR superior to the interlaced DVDs of yore). The singers and orchestra not being automatons, the show is slightly different lengths on different nights. A full transcode on my system takes about an hour. Making the actual disc takes about 3 minutes. Amazing to watch.
You are DEFINITELY entitled to a copy of Encore CS6; you just have to fight for it. Let me know how you make out! Hint: Call corporate if the folks from India can't help you get it. They REALLY don't want to hear from us but they WILL help, in a pinch.

Premiere Pro and Encore CS6 shutting down.

I recently switched my graphics card from a GTX680 to a GTX780. Everything worked fine until I did that. First I found that I had to add the card to the "approved cards" file for premier and after effects. I did that by simply adding it to the existing list and hitting save. That brought back the CUDA capabilities in those applications.
Premiere was running well but exporting the video ran into some problems. I exported a clip through Media Encoder and it was running great (and fast) until about halfway through and it just shut down Media Encoder with no warning. I tried the same thing exporting straight through Premiere and got the same thing then Premeir shut down. I tried different clips and different formats but got the same results.
When those programs shut down, the rest of the computer runs fine.
Are there steps I missed installing the new card? or do I need to change something in the Bios?
I am running a PC with:
Core i7 3770K (not overclocked)
Asus GeForce GTX780
G-Skill Ram at 32GB running at 1600
The BIOS was just updated in an effort to write that off as a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here is the latest. The computer itself started shutting down while working in premiere so I went back into the BIOS and changed the RAM from 1866MHZ to 1600MHZ and that seems to have fixed the problem. I was able to render that file and the computer seems solid again.
I won't be excited until it goes the rest of the day today and tomorrow and renders a 60 minute file again. Not sure what the ram speed was set to before updating the BIOS so I am guessing that was it.

Premiere ProCC and Encore Cs6 not compatible? (dynamiclink)

I am surprised and disappointed to see on the forum that there are no solution to import CC project to EnCs6 because dynamiclink not support CC projects!
How to import DVD , my chapter and my entire sequence?
Adobe does he foresee an update for this problem?
I am very unhappy because when downloading CC, it is not clear that E CC is not there yet and me imcompatibilité between PRCC and EnCs6!

Premiere CC to Encore CS6 (bitrate?)

* A few times my media has been to big to fit the Disc (DVD & Bluray 25) when I export multiple Sequences from Premiere CC via AME to Encore CS6. Other times it looks like I could have upped the Bitrate/Quality Settings a little bit more and it would still have fit.
Premiere CS6 to Encore CS6:
I would Dynamic Link my Sequences and select 'Auto' Transcode Settings in Encore. This seemed to evaluate all of the media in the project and adjust the Bitrate/Quality Settings so everything fit the Disc.
Premiere CC to Encore CS6:
I have been exporting from Premiere CC via AME but guessing at the correct Bitrate/Quality Settings.
Since Dynamic Link is no more...
- What is the recommended way of figuring out the optimal Bitrate/Quality Settings for your media going to disc?

Problem with premiere pro and encore with win7 enterprise 64-bit.

We are a college with approx 500 pc's running win7 enterprise 64-bit. Premiere pro and Encore will only open with admin login, not user login. All other packages ok. Any suggestions as to why this is?

Our lab has just had CS6 installed on it, running Win 7 enterprise. A user account will open a Premiere Pro project. I've done it. That was only to check that everything worked ok. I edited a couple of clips and stuck them on a sequence (16:9 PAL DV) and it played them ok and the project was saved back to the USB hard drive OK.
I have also opened up encore, made a new project and saved it to the USB HDD. No assets were added to it, just checking that the preference files had copied from the central server to the machine, so that users have certain options already pre-selected.
What exactly are the problems with Win 7 enterprise?

Elements 11 and Encore CS6

Has anyone installed them on one machine without any issues.
Encore CS6 was already on my machine.
Installed E11 then Encore keeps crashing on opening either existing or new project.

I had no trouble with E10, so i thought it might be more of a 64 bits issue.
ssd for W7, i7-940, 12 gig ram, raid0 for editing. extra disk for export, media cash.etc.
I had a hard time installing E11 due to No shared components or something.
Ran the Adobe Diagnostic app: the error it gave me: A restart is Pending.
Followed the fix http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-error-messages-bootstrapper-cs5.html But there was no InProgress Key to delete. Maybee it's a ssd and not a regular drive. Just guessing.
Deinstalled the whole CS6 suite and E11, use cleaner tool.
Then after a few installs en de install E11 finaly installed without an issue.
Later on I found Encore crashing.
Deinstalled the suite, ran cleaner tool (several times) but now show.
Deinstalled all of adobe.
Installed CS6 again, can't do without Encore.
E11 is just for instruction purposes, cant use it as it does not support Canon's mpeg2 codec.

Error: Premiere Pro and Encore: Could not find video play modules

Please help! I am ripping my hair out!
I have CS3 Master suite and just reciently started having proiblems with Premiere Pro and Encode where I get an error: "Could not find video play modules, please reinstall and try again"
I HAVE reinstalled, and still no luck! I have even used the CS3 clean utility, blew away everything ADOBE I could think of, reinstalled - and that hasn't helped.
I have a Windows XP (32 bit) SP3 box
4 GB Ram
3.167 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
Nvidia GeForce GTX 285 video card.
All drivers are up to date.
I heard it could be a CODEC problem, but I do not know where or how to get the correct or missing CODECs. I also have AVID Media Composer 3.5 insalled on the box, but I'm not sure if that is creating conflict (it used to work before - not sure what happened).
Any help would be appreciated!

Ryan,
Could be a CODEC issue. First, get G-Spot and install/run it on your files. It will tell you exactly what they are, and what you need, if it shows them as not being installed.
Might be as simple as going to, say MainConcept's site, downloading and installing just the right CODEC. Without the info from G-Spot, we'd only be guessing.

Tip: always install JUST the CODEC's that are required. Do not install any CODEC "packs." They will most likely give you problems someplace.

Library content missing for Adobe Creative Suite - for Premiere Pro and Encore. Use CS6 content?

The basic content is an installer, so I want to say "no."t But I don't know what it actually would do if CS6 is not installed. But the CS6 functional content installer (for PR and EN) REMOVES the CS5.5 Encore library. Go figure.
This was true some time ago, and I have not heard it was fixed.
If would try the process and see if the content can be uncompressed. In the end, it is just content in folders.
For the Encore full library templates and buttons etc, you can just expand the compressed file and use it in CS5.

I just purchased the cloud upgrading from Production Premium CS 5.5 and seem to be having some difficulty mastering in Encore CS5 from Premiere CC
I would have thought that Encore was included in the cloud apps but I can't find it anywhere.

You may not use Dynamic Link... you may export from PPro as MPEG2-DVD or (regular or widescreen) DV AVI for Encore authoring

Help with Adobe Premiere Pro and AME CS6

Hi all,
First off, i would like to state that i'm pretty inexperienced in video editing, so please keep that in mind when answering or questioning something.I will try to explain my question to the best of my abilities, but please answer in a 'simple' manner, and don't shoot me when i miss something obvious.
I came across a 'performance?'-issue (slow exporting) for which i don't really know how to find the solution. I've been struggling with it for a while.
Your (any) help or insight is greatly appreciated!
My system:
Windows 7 Professional - 64 bit (Service Pack 1)
RAM 20 GB
Intel Core I73770 (dual quad core)
Direct x 11.0
Nvidia NVS 310
Adobe premiere pro CS6 (upgrading to adobe CC is unfortunately not an option)
Adobe media encoder CS6
They asked me to edit some video's on a regular basis, nothing complicated, just a 'training'-video. Length of video is about 2 hours edited.
File info:
Source file is 1920x1080 (1,0), 25fps, Upper, 2:11:10:24, 48000Hz, Stereo
There is one audio channel (left is standard mic, right is a shotgun mic) which is split to two audio channels, edited in aodbe audition (basic noise reduction)
I've been running into export times of over 12 hours (exported to mp4), which i'm guessing is a bit much.. . The slowness is also occuring with other export settings.
I came across a possible solution (in short: changing the Video Rendering and Playback in the project settings of APP) but that field is inactive for me...? what's up?
"Use Preview Files" works in CS5.5 but is "Useless" in CS6
I don't really know what to do from here, to figure out the solution. Any suggestions on fixing or troubleshooting the extremely long export times??

Loss of video quality & shaking on DVD after using premiere pro and encore to process material?

Hi guys,
This is my first post out here on the adobe forums (so be gentle) and i am having a small issue which i hope someone can help with.
I made a small video for a friend of mine of her and her partner over the last 10 years of them being together. There is only one small video piece at the start and the rest of the video is picture based with music in the background. Now, i cut, mixed and edited all this material they gave me in Premiere Pro. I also added menu breaks to be able to eventually create scenes in Encore.This worked fine and the quality was great! I then queued this up and added my time line into Encore and began working on the menu screen, scene buttons and using the orphanage to drag my content from. I also set up some poster frames and so far all looked great.
Before building the DVD, i tested for errors and all came back clear. I changed it burning directly to a dvd disc, and instead built it as a DVD image, which created an ISO file on on my pc. From watching a few tutroials, ImgBurn was suggested as a great tool to burn the ISO onto DVD. So far, this was looking good. I then placed my new DVD into my Blu-Ray/DVD player and on screen came this pixelated image. I wasnt terrible, but it wasnt great either, not the sort of quality i was used to. I proceeded to start the movie and the picture was worse, the screen was shaking up and down constantly (only by about half a centimeter up and half down) and the quality was terrible.
Is there anyway to fix this?
(Happy to run through all my settings with someone on the phone or online. Happy to call overseas in need be, as i am in Australia)

I did initially export it as a bluray, but then had to change it to dvd since i dont have a bluray burner. They dont give you any other options in encore besides DVD, Bluray or flash...

Frame accurate is the best you can achieve and that means 33 milliseconds at best.

Using PP CC and Encore CS6 why does Encore stop working after I select open/create project?

When I go into open an existing project it will me in, but when trying to create a new project, it will act as if it will open and then comes up with the error box "access denied or enocre has stopped working Windows is collecting information about the issue this may take a few moments, and Windows will close the program.

Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe Encore CS6

Hi friends
Perhaps I missed this information.
In my personal notebook I already use the CC design apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
My father works with video app and in his workstation he is still using CS6 applications, including Premiere, After Effects and Encore CS6. My father uses a lot the Adobe Dynamic link to easily wok with the video applications together.
Now he is thinking about installing the CC apps in his computer. Question is:
Since CC does not include Encore...if we keep Encore CS6 in the machine and the other programs as the new CC version..Will Adobe Dynamic Link be broken??? And we cannot use anylonger?

Yes, the Adobe Dynamic Link isn't supported with Premiere CC.
