Premiere CC Can't Open Projects or Create New Ones - Crashes

Hello all,
Launched Premiere CC couple minutes ago (the same machine I use to work with for some months) and all the sudden it crashes every time I try to open a project, or create a new one.

Nothing new was installed in this machine - it's a "editing only machine", an Asus laptop.
Anyway for me to track the crash and send/show anyone a report?

You have to delete your presets under.
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\8.0\Profile-YOURNAME
Here delete the .prfpset - file. Be sure to copy the file if you want to go back. This is a much discussed issue of premiere in this forum, for further detail just search for the error-message.

IMovie 7.1.1 and 10.5.3 - can't open existing or create new projects

Is anyone experiencing the same problems as me since upgrading?
I saved an iMovie project yesterday evening but today (following updating to 10.5.3) when I open iMovie all the options under File (except for Import from Camera) are grayed out - I can't open yesterday's project or create new ones.
I've restarted, etc. Any help would be appreciated as I'm under some serious time constraints.

Not much help I know but I've not had any issues after the X.5.3 update. Have you repaired permissions after your update. I repaired permissions and carried out several other maintenance routines immediately before performing the update and then repaired permissions again after the update.

Photoshop CS4 "quit unexpectedly" when opening documents or creating new ones

I recently upgraded my computer to an iMac and reinstalled Adobe CS4. All programs have worked perfectly for months, but now Photoshop will not open. Everytime, whether opening an existing document or creating a new one, it give me the message "Photoshop quit unexpectedly."
I removed ALL 3rd Party Plug-ins (only had a couple) and reinstalled Photoshop - three times... still no luck. I cannot open the program at all.
Adobe Tech Support will no longer support CS4...

Then, your preferences were not created, maybe.
Can you try using the CS Cleaner tool to clean all traces of Adobe CS4 and install CS4 afresh? - http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
This is different from just doing a re-install. Try it out.
Also, in the error you're getting, is there an error code or a description? IF so, can you post that here?

Airport Express can only extend network, not create new one. Why?

I am sharing a flat with some friends. The shared broadband router is placed in the living room. To strengthen the signal and make it easier for me to manage, I bought an Airport Express, connected it to the shared router with an ethernet cable and set up a wireless network of my own in my room. It was working fine, until recently we renewed our broadband contract. The router had been replaced by a new one (I don't know why) and the network configration had been changed. Since then I was not able to use my own network. In the Airport Utility display, the light of Airport Express is green, but the light of Internet is yellow, and the status is disconnected. I tried to change various other configuration on the Airport Express, and all in vain. Until I switched the network mode from 'Create a new wireless network' to 'Extend a wireless network', the Internet connection was finally back online. But this merely extends the existing network and not what I want. Why this happens? Why my Airport Express can only extend a network, not create one?

See my problems here? The Airport Express does not show anything in amble, but the Internet complains that there is no connection.
This problem did not occur before the broadband was renewed and the rounter was replaced.

Can't open files or create new files in photoshop CS6

Urgent!
Since I updated photoshop, when I click New or Open File photoshop behaves like I didn't click anything.
But otherwise reacts to anything else I click on.
What is wrong?

Without system info or other details we can't tell you anything. Most likely this is a permissions issue where PS cannot access the templates for new documents or other configuration data nor may it be able to create its swap files. Look into that and verify your file permission as well as turn off security tools that may block this stuff. also run as admin to test.

Can't open sequences or make new ones

for some oddball reason, i have recently lost the capability to create and open sequences. I can make sequences in the browser, but not open in the timeline (same with old sequences that i have closed- i cannot reopen). anywho, the only things i have done recently to change the computer is make an external HD my scratch drive instead of the built-in one and upgraded to 10.4, but i think the problem started months after Tiger. Any suggestions, please?

You might try trashing the preferences or reinstalling the application.

Unable to open forms or create new ones

I'm getting an error any time I try to create a new form or open an existing one in LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2. In my event viewer it references event ID: 1000 and gives the following description: Faulting application formdesigner.exe, version 8.2.1.3144, faulting module formdesigner.exe, version 8.2.1.3144, fault address 0x000a50cb.
What is this and how can I fix it?

Photoshop CS6 suddenly will not open images or create new ones

I began using illustrator and exported an image in several formats and Photoshop won't open any of them, jpg, png, tiff Not only that now Photoshop won't open any documents period and will not create a new document either. Any ideas?

Premiere cs4 gets stuck opening projects

Today all of a sudden Premiere started getting stuck while openning projects. These are all projects I've been working on for a long time. I found some posts regarding this issue but they all focus on fixing that particular project. But when this problem happens to me almost all of my projects have the problem. Most of them get stuck "conforming files". A few of them don't give any conforming or similar messages and just freeze in a way I can't do anything. Every 4-5 computer restarts all these projects open and work fine. But 2-3 times opening projects later I run into the same problem, again with all projects.I try importing a problematic project into a new one, the problem doesn't go away. I cleaned the media cache, temp files, didn't make a difference.
Yesterday morning I got the newest Windows updates, and installed a second video card (it uses the same driver as the other video card) to connect my 3d monitor, it works fine and yesterday I worked all day on Premiere and didn't have these problems till this morning. Also yesterday I installed the newest DirectX to make 3d function properly with the new video card. Don't know if any of these can be relevant.
My setup is
Vista 64-bit
Operating system on 120GB flash RAID drive
Projects on 600GB second drive
Video files on 2TB third RAID drive
Disks are half way used and defragmented often.
12GB RAM

As John T. points out, it can take time. Right now, The Masters (Augusta, GA, USA) is being played, so some are probably in front of their TV's, and not reading the forum.
However, one recent post to the PrPro forum was answered in about 30 sec., and then within a minute, four other replies came in. Now, that was an easy one, or so we hope.
I know that Harm Millaard, the hardware guru is still up late and on the forum (from Amsterdam, NL), so maybe he has an answer for your original thread.

Can't open Project Professional 2013 projects in SharePoint 2013

I can't open Project 2013 documents from SharePoint2013.
My environment is:
Project Professional 2013 32 bit
Office Professional 2013 32 bit
IE 9 32 bit
Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit
All other documents (Word, Excel) can be checked out and edited from SharePoint.
When I check out and edit a Project document I get the following error:
Project cannot open the file.
check that the file name a path are correct.
check that the file format is recognized by Project.
Also, I get the same error when trying to open a project document from a mapped SharePoint drive.
Note: This was working on a fresh install of Office 2013 and Project Professional 2013 UNTIL a windows update (Office 2013 SP 1 and other updates)
Am I missing an update?

I would try first to repair MS Project from the control panel to see if it fixes your issue.

I can't open a report created in win XP on win2000

I can't open a report created in win XP on win2000
I created a report in winXP on SCOTT schemas and I tried at home to reopen the report.
I receive an error like UNABLE TO OPEN .....REP-0110.
I tried these reports on another computer with WINXP and they perfectly worked.
Only win2000 has this problem? Can I solve this problem without installing WinXP?

there should be no difference, except if you reports versions on those two machines are different. have you tried the other way around, create a file on win2000 and try to open it on XP ? maybe the file gets corrupted during transfer or something.

Yes, PROVIDED that the file has not been saved with any layers containing any of the specific new features introduced starting with Photoshop CC and higher.
If the file has been flattened or if it was flat to begin with there will be no problems.
