Premiere CC for Mac - How do I fix fisheye from a GoPro Hero 3+ video?

First up, I'm very new to Premiere - my experience is probably less than 2 hours at this point. To disspell any concern over whether or not I'm using a licensed copy of Pr - yes, I am. I subscribe to Creative Cloud because of my need for Lr, Ps and Ai.
Anyway, I've got a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition camera and would like to learn how to remove the fisheye effect caused by the crazy wide video that produces. In 1920x1080 "SuperView" I think it's some like 170+ degrees of view vs 127 degrees in "normal" wide mode. Those figures might not be 100% correct but they're close.
With SuperView there's some insane fisheye going on - as you'd expect, I guess. Using the GoPro software there's an option to remove it but that produces video with an aspect ratio that looks squashed. People are super tall and I lose some of the captured video at the top & bottom when watching.
In Premiere for Windows, I believe there's a video effect calls Lens Distortion - it's not there on my Mac version of Premiere CC. The tutorial I watched set the Lens Distortion to -27 and I'd like to try it. Can't though - that effect isn't there.
Is it possible to remove fisheye using Premiere CC for Mac only i.e. completely bypass the GoPro software? If anyone's wondering why I want to bypass the GoPro software - the answer is "just coz."

The 2014 release of Premiere Pro CC now has presets for specific GoPro models. This is true in PPro for Mac, too. Check out the Effects tab in the Project panel: Presets > Lens Distortion Removal > GoPro > [your specific model] > [your specific GoPro footage's mode]. Drag the effect to your clip and watch the barrel distortion go away.

Photoshop elements 8 for Mac - how to move photos (events) from iphoto to pse
I have figured out how to move one photo over through opening a file. But I can't move a full event or album from iphoto. Ive tried going to bridge but when i click on the iphoto folder, it takes me into my iphoto and I'm not sure what do then, no buttons or anything that seems to connect to PSE. Any help would be appreciated! I wish Adobe supported this product better for Mac users. Maybe they read these discussions?

Are you opening iPhoto files from within Photoshop Elements? You can open all the files in an iPhoto event into PSE8 through a single click.
In Photoshop Elements, go to File menu > Open. In the browser window that appears, click Photos under Media in the sidebar. Now, you should be able to see iPhoto with all its events. When you click on an event and "Open" it, you should get all the photos of that event in the project bin.

I have an external hardrive for MAC, I needed to save something from my work computer so I can pass it on to my MAC, it requiered me to re-format my external HD and now when I connected to my MAC I only have "read only rights". How do I fix it? I run my Itnues from this external and now my library is gone. Luckily I have it saved somewhere else, which is not a problem, but I won't be able to write to this HD for right now. I can't see an option to give those permission back.

Unless what you have to transfer is enormous, skip the external HD altogether and use a USB flash drive; you can get them with capacities to 128GB. Format the flash drive as FAT32 or ExFAT as LowLuster suggests so it can be read and written to on both PC's and your Mac. -
De-install Premiere CS4 for mac
How do I de-install Adobe Premiere CS4 for mac so I can re-install it? I think you have to do more than just throw it in the trash right?

JillI have not done it yet for if you want to reinstall Adobe CS4 Premiere for Mac you have to reinstall the entire suite. ALSO I purchased Quick Time Pro and it will NOT open MPEG files so that I can convert them to MOV files to get my timeline back up and running.eeeerrrrrr
thaks gueys for the previous messages...In short my MPEGs in my timeline are all Pending (they were working fine for months. My .mov files in Adobe Premiere are fine still. I just don't want to lose all of my editing! I need help trying to get my MPEGS working again and don't want to have to re-edit. -

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!

I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

Go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF.
Then go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings. Your phone will restart. You will not lose any data, but you will have to re-enter any Wi-Fi network passwords.
Once the phone has re-started and you have a network connection (either 3G or Wi-Fi), turn iMessage back ON. -

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

It can depend on the version of Office Mac which we don't know. v2011 is much different from v2008 and earlier. In Word 2008, the highlight tool looks like this in the formatting toolbar:
Default highlight color is yellow. If you cannot find that icon or have a newer version of Office, you really need to ask how to get it to a toolbar in the MS Office:Mac forums at Csound1 suggests. They are very helpful. Find them here:

From what you say, you have probably opened Parallels Desktop. If you were not asked for your activation key, you will find a button called "Parallels Desktop" at the top left part of the screen, so press it, and you will find an option named "Activate" or something similar. Select it, and if Parallels Desktop is not activated, type the activation key. That's all.
Respecting to the window you are seeing now, you have to choose one option to create a virtual machine. For example, if you have got the operating system you want to install in a DVD (for example, Windows), choose DVD. If you have got the operating system installer in an ISO file, choose Image File. You can find more help in the Parallels website. -
