Premiere CC rendering delay at 100% (Multiplexing)

When i've tried to export a huge H264 MP4 file, multiplexing happens when rendering hits 100% following with file renaming to "_00_" extension and rewriting from scratch. And if the file size is big, it takes a lot of extra time resulting in unnecessary delay. Sometimes it can last for 10-15 minutes when rendering is actually done.
Is there any way how i can avoid it? Maybe some smart tricks or plugins?
I know some encoders are capable of doing h264 multiplexing on the fly
Thanks!

Multiplexing is a necessary step if you want video and audio in one file.  You'll have to wait.

  • Premiere CC renders RED PICTURES to QT DNxHD Video into Blends

    Hello Community,
I'm new in here but I try hard to give all the details.
In my company we use Premiere Pro CC Version 7.2.2 (33) on a Win7 PC.
Every time Premiere CC renders a QuickTime DNxHD there are these red pictures coming up. You cant see anything from the original pictures - there is just red for about 10 frames
They are most frequent before of after a blend.
We have tried to save them to different places (Desctop, 2 Plates,...)
We have tried to change the settings like "max. render Quality"
We have tried to render with and without "In-/Out Markers"
We have tried to export it directly in Premiere CC as well as exporting it to Media Encoder
We have tried to change where ever you can change the Renderer Setting from "GPU" to "only Software"
    ... and so on
one in a million times it works but if you try it twice with the exact same settings it's red again. So it must be a different Problem which we cant handle yet..
Maybe you have any idea what the problem can be
    Many thanks in advance

I would definitely suggest a new system since the CPU's in that are really not going to push the 680GTX Mac card which is far better than the Quadro. The effects your using are really going to slow the export down since those take significant CPU processing. A 6 Core workstation with one of the current Ivy-E chips would perform far better for the workflow you have and those effects. Plan on 32GB of ram as well.

  • RH11 Responsive HTML5 Rendering Delays?

I am using a trial of RH11 to investigate upgrading from RH9. We currently produce WebHelp but we're also thinking about trying Responsive HTML5 output since our application runs in IE and also Safari on iPad (the Webhelp on iPad, even that produced in RH11, has some issues with parts of the search tab being cut off from display...thus the thought to try Responsive ouput).
In the trial output of Responsive HTML5 used in IE, we experience delays anywhere from 3 to 5 sec up to 20 sec sometimes (usually less than 10 sec) as we use the interface. For example, when help first opens up and begins to display its content and interface components, there can be pauses until the content is finally displayed in the browser. Another noticeable delay time is anytime we happen to adjust our browser size on our desktops -- for example, maximize or downsize browser to fill up various amounts of the desktop screen so that we can see how the help layout adjusts itself given the amount of browser space available. This is in IE10 and 11. I did not expect such overhead or delays when trying out that help format. Webhelp ran from the same server doesn't have the delays.
Has anyone else experienced these Responsive HTML5 delays? If so, have you found any work arounds or settings in your help project or browsers that either contributed to the rendering delays or helped reduce the delays? I assume all the scripts that run behind the scenes are a factor. The delays occurred whether I used one of the standard screen layouts for the help or had made some adjustments to the layouts such as to its color scheme. With the delays we're experiencing now, the Responsive HTML5 help isn't as appealing an option as I had hoped.

I grabbed a few screens of a report today showing durations. In this session, I opened help, waited for it to load, then began using the contents, and ended with a search on a single word. Yes, the longest durations were the HTTP requests (for images and for toc). Most of the delays I noticed seemed related to TofC, including some where I would click on a book to expand it and nothing happened, so I needed to click again (maybe my first click was before the page was done loading and I hadn't realized it, jumping the gun before contents tab was ready to use?). The other screens show the bulk of the rest of the report, which were for script evaulations and then painting/rendering.
Regarding bandwith -- might be the case for me, since I work remotely and am accessing this all via our VPN. But there is a person in our office who ran the help for me while in the office and also was seeing delays (the help in this case resides in the folders of an app that is housed on internal server). My next step is going to be putting the help on our web server and see if the delays still occur there.
Something to note is that when I run this help locally from C drive, there are also some delays -- most noticeably within the table of contents (for example, click on an item such as a book or sub-book and nothing happens so I wait a second or two and click again and it responds).
One final question in case it's relevant -- this help was produced off an old RH9 webhelp project that I opened/upgraded in the RH11 trial. Could that be a factor? Should I try a fresh project with fresh topics and TofC?
Appreciate the time you are taking to share our thoughts on this matter,
    Karen

  • Premiere Pro CC14 delayed playback and freezing

I've recently upgraded to CC14 (Mac) and editing in Premiere Pro has become so frustrating. About 1 minute into editing, playback is delayed or completely stops (only audio continues) and rendering takes forever. Has anyone else had this issue with PProCC14? I am pulling my hair out!!!

First two things to check are permissions and prefs.
Prefs: go to Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/8.0 and rename the folder "<username>-Profile." When you launch PPro, all new prefs will be written.
Permissions: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications | After Effects region of interest

  • Premiere CS4 Rendering very slow

recently premier started rendering very slow after making a change to an effect or adding something, etc..
No hardware or software has been added or changed, have tried defragging, updating drivers, etc.  Is there some sort of cache or flush I don't know about that premiere uses?
If anyone has any suggestions I am willing to try almost anything because hours of googling have not brought me any luck.

You really need a 2nd hard drive for video files... I haven't looked in a long time, but I think the official system requirements on Adobe's page even says something about a DEDICATED 7200rpm drive for files

  • Wrong settings when create a sequence from an AVCHD (.mts) file from canon xa20. Adobe premiere sets as AVC-intra 100 1080i

I don't know why Adobe premiere CC automatically adjust an .mts file from my canon XA20 (AVCHD based on h264 1920x1080 25p) like an AVC-intra 100 1080i. While editing it appears crispy and noisy. Im editing in a windows 7 64 bits plattform. Must I install de properly codec on my machine ¿?
    Any suggestion ¿?

Yes it does that. AVCintra is just a name for a preset. Set the preview codec to i frame mpeg only
And no, dont install any codec.
You can alsway select a AVCHD preset from the list.

  • Adobe Premiere CC play delay with newest Mac Pro.

Anyone have issues hitting play on the timeline (out of a multicam edit) and there is a few second delay (or more) when the head starts to react?
I have a late 2013 Mac Pro, six core, 6gig dual v-ram, 64GB ram and six disk array partitioned to two, via a Thunderbolt 1 interface where the assets are held.
Needless to say, this adds a lot of time to the editng.   FCPX has no delay but I couldn't get the multicam to sync up, even going through Pluraleyes.
    Thanks!

Usually, it's this: Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later). It's caused by some methods of updating OS X.
BTW, most people are operating 8.1 with no issues, myself included.
A majority of the issues people are having are updating complex project files from 8.0.1 to 8.1. Please don't update project files or your OS when in the middle of a project. This rule of thumb is very important to safeguarding your project file.
If you must go back to the previous version, please check out my blog post here: Install a previous version of any Creative Cloud application

  • New To Premiere Pro - Rendering Out

    Hi Guys,
So I am new to Premiere Pro, so I am sorry for the easy question...
So I have set my in and out points, but every time I go to render just that section, it renders the whole sequence... does anyone have any ideas on what i am doing wrong?? I do not want to delete the rest of the sequence everytime i go and render just a small porition of the project... any suggestions on what to do... and how to accomplish my goal...
    Thanks
    Richard

Can you have multiple work bar's?? For example, if one segment is at the front of the clip and then a couple of mins later you want that piece in addition to the first segment but rendered together... Is that something possible??

  • Red frames in Adobe Premiere after rendering

Hi! I have a big problem since some months. After rendering .MTS files out of my Canon Leghria HFS in Premiere CS6 there appear red frames from time to time. This is also an issue after exporting them in Adobe Media Encoder. I already contacted Adobe concerning this problem but unfortunately nobody could help me there. I am not alone with this problem when - looking in the help forums in internet. But no hint really helped me out yet. Is there someone who knows this issue and can give me a helping hand? Great thanks!!

Try the trial version of this and convert the media. Then let me know if you are still getting the frames.

  • From FCPX to Premiere Pro (Rendering?)

Looking for a quick simple answer to a quick and possibly foolish question. Is Rendering necessary before exporting in Premiere Pro? I ask because I feel like I can export a 30minute FCPX project with effects, text, transitions with render time and exporting in 10 minutes (exaggerating of course). But the same project, same situation, I have to wait an hour or two because of rendering then exporting.
Could be my MacBook Pro in general but just curious. I'd rather be in Premiere but I feel real comfortable in FCPX.
    I have a MBP 15" Early 2011. Only upgrade is 16GB RAM.
    Any help is appreciated.

I did like working in Premiere Pro for one of my school projects but the rendering time and exporting time for it made me stick with FCPX. It was a 45 second fictional commercial and it took over night to finish.
I'm sure I did something wrong or just not used to working in it. I did do some research about Rendering and from what I've read, people say it's unnecescary to render but could be just preference.

  • Premiere CS4 Renders incorrectly

I am having issues with rendering is Premiere CS4. Everytime I import files (png, gif, swf) and try to render them they are distorted.  I pay close attention to match the original file settings in my presets and have used the interpret footage option and that doesn't either. I am using a custom setting with a square pixel ratio and 24 fps.  Any ideas?

    JSS1138 wrote:
I guess the point I was trying to make is that you don't edit swf files.  You create them when you're done editing standard camera media.
I agree.  Is there a reason for using swfs?  Are you creating some animation effects in Flash or are you using swf sources that you didn't create yourself?
Do the images look distorted in Premiere or is it just when you export?  If it's just when you export it sounds like the export has different aspect ratio settings than your project.  Check to make sure all of your export settings match your project (Especially Frame size and Pixel aspect ratio).
I usually try to use 32-bit targa files for still images or a Photoshop .psd file since both can retain the alpha information.  JPEGs work well also, but can't hold alpha info.  Can you bring some of your images into Photoshop, convert them and see if that helps?

  • Premiere Pro rendering problems

I'm running CS4 Premiere Pro on an I-Mac using Snow Leopard, Intel 2.4 ghz.  I'm editing a seminar video that's about 75min long.  To start, I did some light color correcting and sharpened the picture.  Nothing much.  When I pressed "Render effects in work area" it took 8 hours(!) to render.  Afterwards I saved my project and reopened it the next day.  All the rendering was gone!  So, why does this happen?  First of all, how can it take so long for just a few simple effects, then have all the rendering disappear?  I can't just wait 8 hours at a time for every simple effect to be rendered, I'll never get the project finished.  Even more so if the effect disappears as soon as I close it.  What is happening and how can I fix it?  From looking at the forum, it may even be a known issue.  Or should I try to cut the whole thing first and then only render at the very end?  It's really a simple project, nothing like a movie, so this shouldn't be a problem for an editing program like Premiere.
I currently have 3GB RAM, but will soon add another 3GB.  Not sure if that will help much, though.
    Please advise!
    Thanks.

    [Moved to CS4 and Earlier.]

  • Premiere CC renders faster in the background than in the foreground?

I have some dynamic linked comps that I need to render out for smooth playback.  Select the region on the timeline, press enter.  What I've noticed is that it renders at about the rate of one frame every five seconds.  When I bring another window to the front, say Google Chrome, and position the new window so I can still the see the progress, the render suddenly picks up speed and goes at the rate I would expect from my 2013 Mac Pro.  If I make Premiere active again, the speed drops.  Anyone know what's going on or have similar issues?
2013 Mac Pro running Mavericks 10.9.2 and the latest updates of CC

    Hi Jeff,
I cleared my renders and tried them again with Activity Monitor open and yes, there was a change when I would switch and the progress picked up speed.
