Premiere CC RENDERING TROUBLES

I tried several times to render part of a video clip which is no longer than 40 seconds long and it keeps crashing on and on at 40%, every time (no less than 8 times).
At first I thought it RAM capacity shortage but realized I did not have that problem with Premiere CS6.
There must be some kind of problem. I need help in this. I just became an Adobe CC member. This is a total disappointment.

Hi,
It is a know bug, but to be fixed you need to send a bug report to the following :
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
In the meantime : untick the Mercury engine (Cuda).
The more bug reports the fastier it will be fixed

  • Premiere CC renders RED PICTURES to QT DNxHD Video into Blends

    Hello Community,
I'm new in here but I try hard to give all the details.
In my company we use Premiere Pro CC Version 7.2.2 (33) on a Win7 PC.
Every time Premiere CC renders a QuickTime DNxHD there are these red pictures coming up. You cant see anything from the original pictures - there is just red for about 10 frames
They are most frequent before of after a blend.
We have tried to save them to different places (Desctop, 2 Plates,...)
We have tried to change the settings like "max. render Quality"
We have tried to render with and without "In-/Out Markers"
We have tried to export it directly in Premiere CC as well as exporting it to Media Encoder
We have tried to change where ever you can change the Renderer Setting from "GPU" to "only Software"
    ... and so on
one in a million times it works but if you try it twice with the exact same settings it's red again. So it must be a different Problem which we cant handle yet..
Maybe you have any idea what the problem can be
    Many thanks in advance

I would definitely suggest a new system since the CPU's in that are really not going to push the 680GTX Mac card which is far better than the Quadro. The effects your using are really going to slow the export down since those take significant CPU processing. A 6 Core workstation with one of the current Ivy-E chips would perform far better for the workflow you have and those effects. Plan on 32GB of ram as well.

  • I downloaded Premiere with no trouble, but can't find a setup or install file. What's the deal?

I purchased a one year membership a few months ago, and installed Lightroom and Photoshop without any troubles.  I now need Premiere for my new classes, so I downloaded it with no trouble.  However, I can't find an install or setup file.  What's the deal?  I've paid for software that I can't install, and I need it for class which started about a week ago.  Help!

  • Premiere CS4 Rendering very slow

recently premier started rendering very slow after making a change to an effect or adding something, etc..
No hardware or software has been added or changed, have tried defragging, updating drivers, etc.  Is there some sort of cache or flush I don't know about that premiere uses?
If anyone has any suggestions I am willing to try almost anything because hours of googling have not brought me any luck.

  • New To Premiere Pro - Rendering Out

    Hi Guys,
So I am new to Premiere Pro, so I am sorry for the easy question...
So I have set my in and out points, but every time I go to render just that section, it renders the whole sequence... does anyone have any ideas on what i am doing wrong?? I do not want to delete the rest of the sequence everytime i go and render just a small porition of the project... any suggestions on what to do... and how to accomplish my goal...
    Thanks
    Richard

Can you have multiple work bar's?? For example, if one segment is at the front of the clip and then a couple of mins later you want that piece in addition to the first segment but rendered together... Is that something possible??

  • Red frames in Adobe Premiere after rendering

Hi! I have a big problem since some months. After rendering .MTS files out of my Canon Leghria HFS in Premiere CS6 there appear red frames from time to time. This is also an issue after exporting them in Adobe Media Encoder. I already contacted Adobe concerning this problem but unfortunately nobody could help me there. I am not alone with this problem when - looking in the help forums in internet. But no hint really helped me out yet. Is there someone who knows this issue and can give me a helping hand? Great thanks!!

Try the trial version of this and convert the media. Then let me know if you are still getting the frames.

  • From FCPX to Premiere Pro (Rendering?)

Looking for a quick simple answer to a quick and possibly foolish question. Is Rendering necessary before exporting in Premiere Pro? I ask because I feel like I can export a 30minute FCPX project with effects, text, transitions with render time and exporting in 10 minutes (exaggerating of course). But the same project, same situation, I have to wait an hour or two because of rendering then exporting.
Could be my MacBook Pro in general but just curious. I'd rather be in Premiere but I feel real comfortable in FCPX.
    I have a MBP 15" Early 2011. Only upgrade is 16GB RAM.
    Any help is appreciated.

I did like working in Premiere Pro for one of my school projects but the rendering time and exporting time for it made me stick with FCPX. It was a 45 second fictional commercial and it took over night to finish.
I'm sure I did something wrong or just not used to working in it. I did do some research about Rendering and from what I've read, people say it's unnecescary to render but could be just preference.

  • Premiere CS4 Renders incorrectly

I am having issues with rendering is Premiere CS4. Everytime I import files (png, gif, swf) and try to render them they are distorted.  I pay close attention to match the original file settings in my presets and have used the interpret footage option and that doesn't either. I am using a custom setting with a square pixel ratio and 24 fps.  Any ideas?

    JSS1138 wrote:
I guess the point I was trying to make is that you don't edit swf files.  You create them when you're done editing standard camera media.
I agree.  Is there a reason for using swfs?  Are you creating some animation effects in Flash or are you using swf sources that you didn't create yourself?
Do the images look distorted in Premiere or is it just when you export?  If it's just when you export it sounds like the export has different aspect ratio settings than your project.  Check to make sure all of your export settings match your project (Especially Frame size and Pixel aspect ratio).
I usually try to use 32-bit targa files for still images or a Photoshop .psd file since both can retain the alpha information.  JPEGs work well also, but can't hold alpha info.  Can you bring some of your images into Photoshop, convert them and see if that helps?

  • Premiere Pro rendering problems

I'm running CS4 Premiere Pro on an I-Mac using Snow Leopard, Intel 2.4 ghz.  I'm editing a seminar video that's about 75min long.  To start, I did some light color correcting and sharpened the picture.  Nothing much.  When I pressed "Render effects in work area" it took 8 hours(!) to render.  Afterwards I saved my project and reopened it the next day.  All the rendering was gone!  So, why does this happen?  First of all, how can it take so long for just a few simple effects, then have all the rendering disappear?  I can't just wait 8 hours at a time for every simple effect to be rendered, I'll never get the project finished.  Even more so if the effect disappears as soon as I close it.  What is happening and how can I fix it?  From looking at the forum, it may even be a known issue.  Or should I try to cut the whole thing first and then only render at the very end?  It's really a simple project, nothing like a movie, so this shouldn't be a problem for an editing program like Premiere.
I currently have 3GB RAM, but will soon add another 3GB.  Not sure if that will help much, though.
    Please advise!
    Thanks.

  • Premiere CC renders faster in the background than in the foreground?

I have some dynamic linked comps that I need to render out for smooth playback.  Select the region on the timeline, press enter.  What I've noticed is that it renders at about the rate of one frame every five seconds.  When I bring another window to the front, say Google Chrome, and position the new window so I can still the see the progress, the render suddenly picks up speed and goes at the rate I would expect from my 2013 Mac Pro.  If I make Premiere active again, the speed drops.  Anyone know what's going on or have similar issues?
2013 Mac Pro running Mavericks 10.9.2 and the latest updates of CC

    Hi Jeff,
I cleared my renders and tried them again with Activity Monitor open and yes, there was a change when I would switch and the progress picked up speed.

  • CS6 Premiere Preview Rendered files goes Red (un-rendered)

When I launch Premiere Pro CS6 (Windows 7 x64, main drive is Transcend SSD, Nvidia Graphics GTX580) all my rendered preview files has gone red and then I have to re- render everything. Very annoying and time consuming! Hope there is a fix for that. Nothing changes, no files gets moved. I can actually still see all the preview files on the drive, but it somehow loses the connection. But there is no error message; all the ‘green’(pre-rendered) lines in the sequence goes ‘red’(un-rendered)... Thanks in advance for any help!

Since you are experiencing a similar problem to mine, you can follow a discussion I just poted to see if anything comes back...

  • "Media Pending" on Premiere-created renders

I have some HDR-FX1E footage that has so far work quite fine in PPro CS3 (v3.2.0). Usually I never render the timeline, but today I wanted to in order to get a preview of some 600% speed footage.
The rendering goes fine, but afterwards when trying to play the rendered area, all I get is this "funny" screen with Media Pending.
GREAT isn't it, Premiere can't deal with its own footage that it even has created itself... It has a green line over it. No indexing going on.
Yes, I have searched, read the wiki, and so on.
I guess I just say; end of rant and end of rendering the timeline.
    Dag

    Dag:
    1. Did you capture the footage prior to updating to 3.2?
    2. Can you reproduce the problem in a new test project?
    Cheers

  • Premiere halts rendering at 99.81% 5 times now

    Hi all,
The first few times I've rendered a 2 and a half minute H.264 mp4 file went smooth but lately my renders of 5 hours have been halting/crashing Premiere CS3 when it's about to finish a 2 pass VBR render. 99.81% so close but so far.
What are the cause of Premiere's render to halt/crash just about when its almost done? Can anyone help me figure out why it's doing this?
    I work on a Macbook Pro, 2.6Ghz, 4 GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.5.7.
    Thank you,
    John

    John,
It's purely a manual process in PrPro * . I always zoom in to about the frame-view level on the horizontal zoom (Timeline is usually vertically expanded a bit too), and then hit Home. I press PageDn, to step Clip by Clip. (watch out for Clips on other Tracks, both Video and Audio), and watch the CTI (Current Time Indicator). On my VT1, for example, the CTI should jump from Clip to Clip. If it "stutters," or "hiccups," then I begin looking closely. It's actually easier to "see," than to write about. With the full frame-view, most "gaps" can be seen. However, some cannot. If I get that "hiccup," I'll study the Tail of the preceeding Clip, and the Head of the following Clip. Depending on the Clips, I might just extend the Duration of one by one frame, or may close up the Clips - watch out for other Clips down the line. Usually that increase in the Duration of one of the Clips by one frame is enough - check that you have not compromised the Handles. Then I continue on down the Timeline. The biggest problem with gaps is that often they cause no problem whatsoever. Other times, they bring a Project to its knees. I had to do a re-edit on a Project that a previous editor had burned DVD's successfully and I removed 900+ gaps. These were almost all 1-frame gaps, but had caused no problems. Still, I've seen Projects where one 1-frame gap killed Export. One never knows.
I also will hit the backslash key "\" to see the full Timeline. Here, I check for any "orphans." Matching your intended final frame's TimeCode to the displayed TimeCode will reveal these too. Orphans are Clips, or parts of Clips, that get marooned out beyond where you think the Timeline has ended. These can come from a couple of different situations. They are most often detritus that one forgot was out there, and when the edit was tightened up, they got "left behind." As they are often out of sight, as one edits, they are forgotten. Looking at the full Timeline will often reveal them way out past the last intended frame, lurking, ready to give you tons of black space and then a flash of a forgotten frame, or two.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    * Premiere Elements has a "Find and Close Gap" function. However, if one has continuous Audio on any Audio Track, it will not work.
