Premiere doesn't "remember" my Video Effects! I have to edit them each time I open the project!
Eh guys this is just crazy!
Sometimes, premiere comes with this problem in a specific project where I've put effects and transitions.
If I close the project, then when I will reopen it my transitions and effects will still be there but they wont be seenable if i play it (or even export it) unless if I click each one of them and make a small edit (e.g a trans from 00:00:01:05 to 00:00:01:06 ). But even when I've done that, if i close it, the nex time i will be opening it, it will be just the same!
And also! All the titles or images I have on the project are offline!!!
Now, I noticed -but I'm not sure if this is the only and real reason- that this happens
when
sometimes I open the Title Window and insert a title -a window "Premiere is running on very law system memory, please save your project and procced with caution..."*1-
or
when i paste titles from another project- which had the same problem. But the most crazy of all, is that after that, even if i delete those clips, the project remains damaged with this bug for days, or even permanently!
*1 What low system memory ?! I Have 4GB RAM on a Intel Quadqore 2,4Ghz (Q6600) with an Ati 1950XT!!!

I know to render Steven but as you saw at the video those transitions simply dont work unless i edit them despite if I render the timeline or not.
And as I sed, even if I edit them to ... "make them active again" and render the timeline, the next time I'm goiing to open the project the whole timeline will be unrendered and all the effects "unactive" ince again. Once again i will have to retouch about 60 transitions and effects!
Now i see that I'm not the only one but its a problem you've met. Have you noticed special actions or conditions under which it was appearing?
Personallly i can say that it is appearing sometimes when I open the title window, and for sure it will appear if i put many titles in my project.
(Want to remind my sytem. 4GB RAM, Q6600 (Intel Quad core 2.4), Ati 1950XT, Windows XP Pro)

Premiere Creates New .CFA files every time I open the project
I have a project that contains 2 long (70 min.) clips. Each time I open the project, Premiere conforms the audio for both clips. I save the project, close Premiere, open it right back up and it starts conforming the audio again.
I have tried changing where Premiere stores the audio preview files, but no matter what I do, Premiere puts the .CFA files where it wants.
I have 8 versions of the same .CFA files - and the next time I open Premiere, I'll have 9.
Any help would be much appreciated!I took a look at the Troubleshooting link you posted, and it was a little helpful but isn't quite up to date. For example, it says to specify a new location for conformed audio files by choosing Edit > Preferences > Scratch Disks, which isn't an actual menu tree in CS4. Here is how I've set things up:
I have gone to Edit > Preferences > Media and set the location for Media Cache Files to C:\PPro_Video and set the Media Cache Database to the same folder. When prompted, I chose to delete the existing Media Cache database file. I left the "save media cache files next to originals when possible" box unchecked.
Then I have gone to Project > Project Settings > Scratch Disks and set the Audio and Video Preview files to the same folder (C:\PPro_Video)
I saved the project, closed Premiere, and deleted everything inside C:\PPro_Video.
I restarted Premiere and opened my project. Premiere created three folders inside C:\PPro - Media Cache, Media Cache Files, and Adobe Premiere Preview Files. I then waited while Premiere created the .CFA and .PEK files inside C:\PPro\Media Cache Files. Once they were done, I closed Premiere.
Reopened the project. Premiere immediately begins to conform the audio again. I look inside C:\PPro\Media Cache Files and see new versions of PEK and CFA files being created with the same file names suffixed by an _1.
Setting aside, for the moment, that using my C drive for a scratch disc might not be optimal, what am I doing wrong? -
The password saved for a site is correct but the site still doesnot accept it and I have to type it in each time. How do I fix this?

Premiere is crashing each time I open a project file.
I have tried opening the project on another computer, and it is doing the same thing. I am using a Mac. I have tried restarting, cleared preferences and cache. Is there anyone at Adobe who I could send the project file to in order to see what is wrong with it? It is certainly the file itself, as I have loaded the project with all files offline and it is doing the same thing. Please advise.
Yes, I tried opening every autosave file, none of them work. The same thing happens each time.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

I have attempted several different choices within preferences and yet, it still won't work. The confusing part, is that when I'm at a different location, and have chosen a WIFI network there, each time I open the laptap, it automatically connects to that network. Not so at home. Doesn´t Radilal Blur Video effect exist more in Premiere Pro CC 2014?
Hello everyone!
I am studying an Adobe Premiere Pro guide, it is based on an old version and, at one point he says to apply the radial blur effect video.
The problem is: This effect is not where it should be, or no longer exists. Can anyone tell if it still exists? It was replaced ?
If not, how to simulate the same effect? Since all existing blur options in CC version does not do anything like the Radial Blur.

Thank you to all !The project was very large. Connected to 5 TB of media on a server, not local, or ext. hd. I needed to "trim" the sequences to make them manageable to put on an Ext HD and mail around the world to different bureaus of our media company. I opened the project manager and trimmed the first sequence and it worked fine. All subsequent sequences ended in the same error. "Unknown error, please save and re-try." I tried changing the settings of the "trim" and nothing worked. I tried several different computer, still didn't work. I tried saving the trimmed sequences to different HD's, servers, local desktops, etc. Nothing worked. Same Unknown Error. I think it might have to do with audio that is in the sequence that is not being used in conjunction with the associated video. But, that is crazy. All sequences include this type of editing. But, the first sequence that worked didn't. SO, maybe that is it.
Please fix this problem because I still need to trim these sequences and I'm on a deadline of December 1, 2014!

I have consolidate my folders related to the video I am in the progress of working on. Premiere elements does not follow their new location. How do I syn them back up all at once so premiere doesn't ask me for their location when I open the project

When you open the project, it should ask you where the first file is located. After you tell it where it is, it should be able to find the rest of them if they are located near the first one. Then save the file. If you move the files again, you will have to relink them again. -

Thank you for your reply. Sorry to bug you again but can I ask some further questions? Pls excuse my lack of knowledge on these things.
In relation to your points:
1) In the ftp publishing settings, public_html is acutal in where it says "site name", where it says "URL" I have http://www.gippmed.com. I was advised to put public_html in "site name" from my hosting. If I put anything else it publishes the entire site to a folder with that name on the server and is not viewable online?
2) I have removed the spaces in the album page name and will reupload soon. In relation to the image file names, am I correct in saying that iweb is naming them from the captions? Do you really have to use one word captions or use underscores, it looks a little odd? I have read troubleshooting articles about iweb and spaces and it also recommends similar as you are, suggesting that all page names should have underscore instead of spaces. Problem is, if for example I change the page name "About Me" to "About_Me" iweb automatically changes it in the navigation menu and this looks silly to have undescores in the Nav Menu. Is there a way around this?
Lastly, a new problem that I have never had before:
Previously, iweb would remember what I had published and only publish new site changes. Now, every time I turn my computer off and on, I open iweb and it doesn't recognise any of the previous publishing, ie it republishes the entire site.

Regarding:

There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).
Please let us know if any of that worked for you.

Just in case note....for a regular DVD player, granted it is important to have a video format that the player supports (namely DVD-VIDEO format); however, the other half of the consideration...the player needs to support the disc type (media type) that the video format is on. I do not know of a regular DVD player that supports DVD-VIDEO on a memory stick.
If you have recorded PAL 1080i (1920 x 1080 @ 25 interlaced frames per second), that interlaced video exists with Field Order: Upper Field First.
But, you end product DVD-VIDEO is characterized by Field Order: Lower Field First. If you run into this type of Field Order problem, then there are 2
possibilities to get that taken care of
a. Assuming that you are using Premiere Elements 11, 12, or 13....set the project preset (manually) to
PAL
Hard Disk, Flash Memory Camcorders
Full HD 1080i25
or
b. Import the source media using
PAL
AVCHD
Full HD1080i15
and then, for each Timeline 1080i, right click it, select Field Options from the pop up menu, and then select Reverse Field Dominance.
When you export to file, you lose the opportunity for menus. The only export to file with menus is found in the webDVD export which is
in reality a flash file with menus. That might be a consideration for playback through the web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.
If putting a file on a memory stick is a working possibility, you might want to look also at AVCHD.mp4 1920 x 1080p25, but all depends on the
support of the player.
Lots to think about. If you need clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to ask.

LR5 crashes each time I open a folder with video
The title sums it up.
I have a Fujifilm HS20EXR folder which contains video.
Each time I select the folder, LR5 (Mac ML) crashes.
NeilFYI It is not only the Mac version of LR5 that is having issues with videos.
On Windows, there is an issue with 100% CPU and long delay of showing videos in Library mode.
Whether the problems are related is unknown to me.

I have a five year old version of imovie that generally works fine. However, when I add a photo using the 'Ken Burns' effect then save the movie, the next time I open the file and click 'show photo settings' the picture appears black and I cannot change the zoom. Any suggestions?
Have you rendered both iOS 7 and iOS 8 (both of which will work on your iPhone 5) out of the question entirely without trying every possible configuration? The animations can be disabled entirely, if that's the problem. And if the whiter-brighter user interface is the problem, there's reverse-contrast modes that darken everything. You can expose accessibility controls to gain immediate access to these functions to toggle them on and off. I guess my point is you may have decided against upgrading the OS based on an early experience with iOS 7 when Apple has since made changes in later revisions to address some of the usability complaints.
Now, Apple's instructions for downloading older versions of apps is to do so from the Purchased list, not from the app's product page.

I want to open a project from a drive which is different than the original one, but which has exactly the same folder structure and files as the original drive. When opening the project, all files appear as missing because the drive is different. When I replace these missing files for the ones in the new drive, After Affects relinks all media. However, the camera-raw settings that were embedded in such files are lost: After Effects opens the files as no previous camera-raw correction had been done. Is there a way to avoid this?
What could be in my project that makes it unable to open?
