Premiere Elements 10 mehr als 1080p ?

Da ich eine Bildschirmauflösung von 2880x1620 nutze und auch in dieser Auflösung mit Fraps Videos mache würde ich gerne auch mehr als 1080p ausgegeben haben. In den Menüs von Premiere Elements 10 sehe ich jedoch immer nur 1080p oder 1080i als maximal mögliche Einstellung.

Nö. Das ist ja auch keine Standardauflösung, wie sie im Videobereich üblich ist und deine Version ist ja auch schon ein paar Tage alt, hätte also auch gar nicht die technischen Möglichkeiten z.B. 4k UHD nach neuesten Standards zu bearbeiten oder zu exportieren.

Ich muss aus einer von früher digitalisierten avi-Datei Szenen 'erzeugen' und einige einzelene auf Festplatte speichern, weil diese in einem anderen Programm zu Erstellen einer Präsentation benötigt werden.
Ich sehe auf der Timeline sehr wohl die Szenen, finde ber keine Möglichkeite irgendwelche davon auf ein Medium zu speichern.
Gibt es sowas im PE 11?
Oder muss ich das Geld abschreiben und eine andere Software, Pinnacle Studio kann das bereits seit 2 Jahren,kaufen?

Irgendwo gibt's 'ne option, die Szenenerkennung in echte Schnitte umwandeln zu lassen. Muss man, glaube ich, erst Marker anlegen lassen und dann Schnitt an Marker...

Premiere Elements 12 Project settings

Does Premiere Elements 12 support 1080p video and 5.1 sound in the same project? From what I can see in the project settings I can have 1080p with stereo or 1080i with 5.1.

Unfortunately I have no access to a Mac computer and have never worked with one.
But, there are several basic ingredients to this
a. Premiere Elements' New Project Dialog's List of Available Project Presets
and
b. The .sqpreset file of an existing project preset
If the Adobe .sqpreset files are the same independent of computer operating systems Windows vs Mac and their location is the only difference, this approach should be applicable for the Mac user.
To put this thought to the test, can you find the following files on your Mac computer, named as
PAL AVCHD 1080p50.sqpreset file
or
NTSC AVCHD 1080p60.sqpreset file
Can you find the lines in each's Notepad document that needs to be edited according to the blog post with its Premiere Elements Windows base?
If so, then the hoped for outcome would be to edit them as per the blog post instructions and then put the edited ones into the location where the unedited ones are found.
To much to hope for, but worth a try. One of my goals for 2014 is to get a Mac computer.
We will be watching for further developments.

Hallo, nach dem Windows Update auf 8.1 funktioniert mein Premiere Elements 10 nicht mehr richtig. Bilder werden in der Vorschau nicht mehr angezeigt, bzw. überblendet und Videos zeigt es auch nicht mehr richtig an. Kann mir jemand helfen ?

Es sieht aus als wäre das Programm im Bearbeitungsmodus und ich kann nichts mehr ändern geschweige denn eine Vorschau starten.
Wie kann ich den Modus wechseln oder die Edition schließen ?

a driver version old enough for you to use to get Premiere Elements 10 to work. If your computer does not use a NVIDIA

Problem reading GoPro Hero Black 4 files (1080p 120 fps) on my iMac with Adobe Premiere Elements

Hello,
I have a problem reading GoPro Hero Black 4 files (1080p 120 fps) on my iMac with Adobe Premiere Elements : the file is read but the quality is quite bad. When I watch it with other software like VLC or MPC, the quality is perfect but the video is sometimes slowed or there are some jumps in the reading.
What is the issue with this ?

This is easy. I do it all the time. FCPX ingests GoPro footage just fine. Optimize, and you're good to go.
BTW: A common hiccup occurs when dealing with over-cranked footage. (60fps or 120fps.) Be sure to "conform speed" to actuate the slo-mo. 'Tis also important to designate your project / timeline at 24fps or 30fps to realize the speed difference.
I've gotten burned in the past. I'll drag my over-cranked GoPro footage to the timeline. As it is the "first" clip layed into the timeline, the project assumes THAT speed as a default. (As per my preferences.) Thus, when I "conform speed," nothing seems to happen. That's because my project is displaying at the higher rate. A 60fps timeline showing footage shot at 60fps looks "normal speed."
FYI. (And disregard if you know all this.)

Will Premiere Elements 10 output full 1920 x 1080p? (not 1080i) to a file?

I know this is a really simple question, but I can't find the answer anywhere in the software specs, and all sorts of variations of searches bring up no results in the Forum.
I have bought, at full price, (not even upgrade price) every version of Premiere Elements since version 5. I currently have V 9. I can find no way of outputting proper, full, 1920 x 1080p @ 25FPS despite having this as my input source material. (UK JVC Everio Camcorder TOD format in fulll 1080p.) (Not 1080i - 1080p!)
I usually end up setting the project settings to 720p 25FPS (using 1080p source material) and outputting at that, which is a shame.
So the simple question is as above. Will Premiere Elements 10 output full 1920 x 1080p (not 1080i) at 25FPS (British standard) to a file on disk? Preferably in both MPEG4 for best quality uppload to YouTube, and also as a .WMV file format.
(If anyone knows a way to do this in Version 9, I'd be really pleased to hear it - although I have asked that question before. :-)

You should be able to set your output up for progressive scan under the Advanced settings.

How to Cut, Label, Save sports clips (40Hours, 500GB, 1080p AVCHD Source) for creating season highlight video in Premiere Elements 13?

I have filmed all of my son's basketball games this season and we are heading into the playoffs soon. I would like to find an efficient way to cut, label, and save video clips to create a highlight movie for the team banquet.
All video is AVCHD and saved on hard drive. A few games were recorded with a Sony camcorder 1920x1980i30(*.mt2s), the rest with my Canon DSLR1920x1080p30(*.mov). I will have about 35 or 40 hours of video by the end of the season. Probably around half a terabyte.
I own licenses to the following video editors.
Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.
Adobe Premiere Elements 13 that I just purchased bundled with Photoshop Elements 13.
I struggled with burning AVCHD disks with the Sony software, so did the Adobe trial and everything worked great so I bought it.
I went through one game and clipped the highlights, but can't figure out how to label them, or export them as individual highlight files. I guess I would be OK doing this all in a single project if I knew that it would work, and if I could find a way to label the clips so that I can arrange them without having to preview the clip every time.
I am open to using other tools if they don't cost too much, free would be awesome since I don't do this professionally.

Yes, while I couldn't spend much time today at work reviewing the link ATR provided, at a high level I like ATR's approach as well, and it definitely is advantageous for that use case and rendering only the final product. My use case is a bit different. My son's high school webcasts each match which I then pull off their Youtube channel (with their permission, of course) and use their camera angles and their play-by-play guys commentary (again, with permission) to augment my video (which are closer to the action and much better quality than theirs, I must say). The kids get a kick out of hearing the play-by-play guy yell their name when the score or make a great play. So that is why I produce my clips separately. To me it is cleaner and I can store them for later use outside PE or any other project.
Anyway, regarding the actual shooting of the video. I've been doing this for awhile and there are two elements that are a must for any soccer shoot: a good solid tripod with fluid panning ability, and height. Getting above the action (like atop bleachers), for the most part, is an advantage most of the time. That is why professional sports are shot from above. While I do like to take a few minutes of every game to get on the sidelines and film at field level (this adds a bit of variety to the finished product, and you can't beat the ambient sounds you get when the players grunt and groan), you just can't capture the flow of the game from that angle.
The purpose of your video will dictate your composition. Are you trying to always focus on one player (one particular forward, back, midfielder or keeper) and get their every move (for the purpose of say, college recruitment purposes), regardless of where the ball or action is? If so, you'll want to stay tight on them, but not too tight - know where the action is and use the rule of thirds here with your subject player always in the left or right most third. Let the action, in this case, the ball, enter from the opposite third your player is in to allow the viewer to see a glimpse of what led up to your subject being engaged with the action. If your subject is a keeper, that is the easiest position to focus on of all. When filming just a keeper, I like to set my tripod up along the touch line about 30 yards from the goal line (again, elevated if possible), compose the shot using thirds again so as to let the viewer see the passing action as the goal is attacked. Its great to get a clip of the keeper making a save, but it can be much more impressive and entertaining to a viewer to see how it all unfolds and the choices the goalie has to make to be in the right position to make the save.
If your intent is to film the action where the ball is, regardless of the player or team that has the ball (like most professional sports coverage), it is much better to cast a wide composition. As you mention, it is difficult to find that sweet spot between being too far out and missing the intimacy, or being too close in and simply giving the viewer a headache as the shots zip around as you try and follow the ball. I've found the sweet spot for me is to shoot always keeping a quarter of the pitch in view. This allows for tight enough composition to keep the viewer engaged with the action, without having to jerk the shot around so much as to make them throw up. Soccer is quite fast paced at the high school level and there is quite a bit of "switching the field", where a wing will lob the ball completely across the width of the field to the opposite wing. If you are in too tight, you'll have to pan very quickly to the receiving side, and if done a lot, will not make for very entertaining viewing. There are other examples of why you shouldn't be too tight, but you get the idea.
I've probably written too long a post as it is for this forum, but I hope I've given you some things to consider on your next shoot.

Danke, wenn ich gewusst hätte, was jemand für eine Antwort benötigt, hätte ich es geschrieben - ich dachte, das Problem sei so zu erkennen. Aber der Ton hier ist wie in den meisten Foren. Vielen Dank! Allerdings soooo logisch ist es nicht, da das Problem nicht grundsätzlich auftritt, sondern beliebig mit Filmen aus der gleichen Serie. Mal geht es, mal nicht. Die Aufnahmen wurden mit einem Samsung Galaxy Note 3 gemacht. Da es nur um private Zusammenschnitte geht - alles andere wird mit Videokamera erstellt - bearbeite ich diese Filme einfach mit lightworks. Da geht es...und zwar ohne zucken.

Wollte heute Pse 12 starten aber es passiert einfach nichts das Programm startet nicht (gestern abend ging es noch)
es hat auch beim beenden Probleme... das beenden dauert ca 10 min weil die Anwendung laut Task Manager nicht reagiert
und gespeicherte Projekte kann man nicht laden (führt zum absturz des Programms)

You continue to use "PSE" and yet you show that you are using Premiere Elements 12. So I will continue believing that you are using Premiere Elements 12 and not Photoshop Elements 12 which uses the abbreviation PSE.
1. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer along with Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7 64 bit?
2. Are you running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges and have applied Run As Administrator?
3. Were you able to create a project and do some editing and exporting within the 3 days after installation of the program or have you never been
able to get into the program?
For starters....
Delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole 12.0 Folder in which it exists.

and in the 12.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the complete path cited. After a project is opened, a new Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file will be generated by the program.
Also, look at the renaming of the SLCache Folder and SLStore Folder as detailed in the following blog post

Qualitätsprobleme beim Erstellen einer Disc mit Premiere Elements 12

Hallo zusammen,
ich versuche mit Premiere Elements 12 Filme auf DVD zu brennen. Soweit funktioniert das auch, nur die Bildqualität geht gar nicht!
Ausgangsmaterial ist ein MOV Video mit der Größe von 1,8 GB. Also kein Problem für eine DVD.
Nach dem Brennen befinden sich auf dem DVD Film nur Querstreifen über dem Bild und geben dem ganzen Treppen statt rundungen. Eine Bildqualität, die sich nicht auf dem TV gucken lässt ohne das Heulen zu kriegen.
Leider habe ich die selbe Bildqualität auch beim Film brennen mit Toast. Von daher dachte ich, ok, mit Premiere geht es besser.
Hat jemand eine Idee?

die *.TS Dateien liegen als MPEG-2 vor. Das Seitenverhältnis ist immer 16:9. Ich arbeite mit verschiedenen Aufnahmen. Es gibtg HD mit 1080p, HD mit 1280x720 und SD mit 720x576.
Die TS Dateien mit 720x576 wurden mir zuvor auf meinem Windows PC auch so angezeigt und so verarbeitet in bester DVD Qualität. Seit einer Woche habe ich keinen Windows PC mehr
und bin komplett umgestiegen auf einen Apple IMAC 2,9 GHz Intel I5, 21,5 Zoll, 8GB RAM, OS-X 10.9.men
Hier werden mir die SD Aufnahmen nicht mit 720x576 angezeigt, sondern mit 1024x576 ??? Ich muss diese erst mit ISkysoft Video Converter umwandeln. Damit es danach als Vollbild läuft, muss
ich als Auflösung 720x408 wählen, sonst läuft es in einem Fenster mit dicken schwarzen Rahmen. Auch Premiere Elements 12 produziert die schwarzen Rahmen, wandele ich es nicht vorher um.
Ich lade gerade ein paar kleine Testdateien von ca. 2 Minuten Länge in mein Mediencenter. Das Beste ist, Du schaust Dir die Dateien selber einmal an. Ich werde hier gleich noch
den Link veröffentlichen, um die Dateien aus dem Mediencenter zu laden.
Es sind folgende Dateien:
Original1280x720HD.ts = Original HD Datei aus der Dreambox
Test720x408.mov = Convertierte HD TS Datei zu SD. (Mit ISkysoft Video Converter)
mov2dvd_Premiere12.vob = Konvertierte MOV Datei mitPremiere Elements 12 zu DVD umgewandelt. Hier sind die Treppen und Querstreifen Horizontal gut zu sehen.
Original2dvd_Premiere12.vob = Original HD TS mit Premiere Elements 12 zu DVD umgewandelt. Qualität fast OK, bei schnellen Bewegungen Treppen und Querstreifen Horizontal.
mov2dvd_Xilisoftdvdcreator.vob = MOV Datei mit dem Xilisoft DVD Creator zu DVD umgewandelt. Qualität OK keine Treppen, keine Streifen horizontal Auf dem TV super! Leider nicht genug
Schnittmöglichkeit wie unter Premiere Elements 12.
Wenn gewünscht, kann ich auch noch eine Dreambox SD Originaldatei hochladen mit eigentlich 720x576, die hier mit 1024x576 angezeigt wird.
Die SD Dateien sind nach Umwandlung mit Premiere zu DVD qualitativ noch schlechter als die HD Aufnahmen, obwohl nach Umwandlung beides gleich sein müsste.
An meinem alten Windows PC habe ich die Dateien mit Nero Video geschnitten und zu DVD gebrannt. Funktionierte immer ohne Probleme und gute Qualität.
Ich werde gleich noch den Link zu meinem Mediacenter posten und hoffe auf weitere Hilfe.

Photoshop und Premiere Elements starten nach Eingabe von Adobe ID und PW nicht. Nach der Anmeldung erscheint ein Bitte Warten Fenster und verschwindet nach 10 Sekunden. Dann passiert nichts mehr.

Ich habe gar nicht die CC, sondern CS6 als CD. Die habe ich eingelegt, musste danach die Seriennummer angeben und jetzt hat sich ein Fenster geöffnet auf dem steht "Anmeldung erforderlich, die Seriennummer wurde bestätigt. Zum Installieren und Registrieren dieses Produkts unter Ihrer Adobe-ID müssen Sie sich anmelden. Über Ihre Adobe-ID können Sie ganz einfach auf Ihre Serienummern sowie auf die Adobe CC und die Adobe.com/de-Community zugreifen"
Davor war ich schon so weit, dass ich meine Adobe-ID und das Passwort eingegeben hatte und das hat rund 30min geladen, bis ich es irgendwann abgebrochen habe.
Nun zeigt er mir an, dass ich wohl keine Verbindung mit dem Internet hergestellt habe oder meine Uhr falsch eingestellt ist, was zu Verbindungsfehlern führt.
Internet tut, ich bin online. Was hat es mit der Uhr auf sich?

Premiere Elements 12 - Preisfrage

Nach Testen der Trial-Version möchte ich mir Premiere Elements 12 zulegen und habe nun gesehen, dass es bei Amazon um mehr als 20% günstiger angeboten wird als bei Adobe. Frage: Sind das in beiden Fällen die gleichen Versionen? Oder muss man bei der von Amazon irgendwelche Abstriche befürchten? Gibts da 'nen Haken? Finde den Preisunterschied irgendwie ziemlich krass...

Der Unterschied ist schon ziemlich krass, aber ich habe das schon öfters, auch bei Artikel von anderen Firmen, beobachtet.
Die Version sind absolut identisch. Da brauchst du keine Sorge zu haben.
Ich vermute mal Adobe ist hier auch auf Gewinnmaximierung bedacht.

Premiere Elements 12 braucht unter OSX Mavericks ewig zum Öffnen eines vorhandenen Projekts

Hallo,
ich habe mit Mavericks von Premiere Elements 9 auf Elements 12 umgestellt. Mein erstes Projekt ist schon ein Desaster. Es besteht bis jetzt aus einem einminütigen MPEG-Full-HD-Film, 2 JPG-Bildern und 3 statischen Titeln. Das Speichern des Projektes hat schon ungewöhnlich lange gedauert. Als ich es aber zur Weiterbearbeitung wieder öffnen wollte brauchte Premiere Elements gestoppt 4,5 Minuten um das 1,5 Minuten-Projekt wieder zu öffnen. Zum Test hatte ich daraufhin alle Cache- und Projektdateien gelöscht, Premiere komplett deinstalliert und frisch installiert. Das Projekt habe ich anschließend neu erstellt. Beim Abspeichern hat es schon wieder sehr lange gedauert und das spätere Öffnen wie oben erwähnt, dauerte länger als 4 Minuten. Woran kann es liegen, dass die Ladezeiten derart lang sind? So kannte ich das unter Premiere Elements 9 nicht. Lässt sich die Ladezeit verkürzen? Meine Befürchtung ist, dass sich das Projekt mit zunehmender Länge gar nicht mehr laden lässt.
Ich benutze das Programm auf einem Mac mini unter OSX Mavericks mit 8 GB RAM und 500 GB FusionDrive von dem 3/4 noch frei sind. Die verwendeten Medien sind lokal gespeichert.

I am strictly an Elements Windows user.
I suspect that the Fusion Drive is at the core of your Premiere Elements 12 on iMac Fusion issue.
But, I have seen many reports of slow performance of Elements products when iMac Fusion drive was involved. Please clarify what you have stored on the fusion drive? Are that Premiere Elements source media stored on it? Where are the Scratch Disks directed?
From what I have read, the Fusion drive consists of two drives, one traditional hard drive about 1 TB and SSD about 128 GB. Is there any way to take the Fusion drive out of the equation and just use one traditional hard drive. From the following article, it sounds like the traditional part of the Fusion drive has the specification of only 5400 rpm.
