Premiere Elements 10 trial version vs buying Elements 11

Hi!
I downloaded Premiere Elements 10 trial version last week but now 11 is out!
I (unfortunalty for me) didn't realize watermarks would "stay" until I bought full version but I figured I might as well buy the 11 version since it's out. So how can I do this since when I open program it asks me if I want to purchase version 10? and most importantly, will I loose all the work I've done so far???

I have just heard from the NewBlue customer support team, they write:
"We are working on the update for CS5. We plan to have it ready soon. You are correct that the current version for Premiere is 32-bit but the 64-bit version for CS5 is definitely in the works"

Why can't I download Adobre Premiere Pro CC [Trial version]?

Hello, I have been trying to download the trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC. However, when I click onthe download button and the Creative Cloud window appears, Premiere is nowhere to be found. THe only application present in the Audio/Video section are Audition, Photoshop and Prelude.
I need this trial version quite urgently for a project.

Premiere Pro CS3 Trial version refuses to install

I downloaded the trial version of Premiere Pro CS3 last night (painfully slow) and tried to install this morning, but it balks a few percent from the ned. I keep getting disk space or priveleges; 60+ gigs on one drive I tried, 80 gigs free on another, and I've administrator priveleges on an XP-Pro system, 2 Gb RAM.
I even tried letting it use the default c:\... location it defaults with same results.
This a correupted file or ??? ADBEPPROCS3_ALP.exe 719,174,560 bytes. Should I re-download & try a different mirror site?

Well, it gets better.
I went thru the slow d/l process again this morning. The download applette was already installed and it started up quickly. I chose details in order for the applet to NOT install upon completion.
When it did finish, I then let the applett proceed to launch, chose my own temp folder for it to ectract to, and this time it went to completion.
Great! It worked. At least the installation part did. Someone say something about another shoe?
Now let's see what the program looks like. I chose it from the All programs menu as there is no Desktop icon, and it asks me for a serial number or to try for 30 days. I select the latter and it proceeds with a loading ... Adobe Premiere CS3 splash.
... until it gets to an FL Studio VSTi.dll and proceeds to go no further.
The system isn't hung, just constant hourglass over the Premiere CS3 splash. Task Manager doesn't even show the application as hung, but under Processes, Adobe Premieree Pro CS3 tops the list on mem usage (263 Megs), and I can kill the process there.
And no, I haven't tried renaming, moving, uninstalling, etc. concerning FL Studio at this point, although I might test that later.
So, it sounds like I'm gonna have a tech support issue before I even receive my official copy of the product. I think that's a first.

Error installing Premiere Pro CS4 trial version

Hi all,
i've just downloaded Premiere Pro CS4 for testing.
During installation the files were extracted and setup was starting. But after the system check the installer says that an error occured and that i have to look in the log file. So i'm not able to install the trial.
Any ideas?
It can't be a problem of the installer, i've downloaded the sources twice.

If you have not done so, make sure that your Account is an Administrator. Turn off ALL Anti-virus, pop-up blockers and sypware programs.
As later Adobe installers rely heavily on Flash, I'd make sure to have the very latest Flash Player (free from Adobe).
If this fails to resolve the issue, you might try to install from Safe Mode. IIRC, PrPro will NOT allow for this, though PS still does. Still, you can test my memory here.

Mts codec missing from Premiere CS4, NOT trial version

I installed from my DVD's onto a laptop for a quick trip, didn't expect to need to leave it installed was going to use the trial and let it expire, no big deal, right? Discovered that I need to activate to get the MTS codec to use my footage (sony HDR--###), so fine, I deactivated my PC version and activated the laptop. Worked for a few days in the hotel. Now I need to produce, but I hadn't installed Encore. When I finish installing Encore nothing works right, so I deactivate and uninstall the whole suite from the laptop and re-install, get a activation problem (too many computers, worked it out with adobe chat) and once it was activated I didn't have the MTS codecs anymore, and since it's not a trial install, I can't figure out how to force the codec update.
Do I really need to go back again and wipe/reinstall, per the linked suggestion?

Short answer: Yes, otherwise you will not get your mts codec.

Edit column issue in Premiere Elements 9

Is there an issue with the Edit Column feature in the project window of Premiere Elements 9?
When I add a Description or Comment column, changes are not saved when I close and reopen the program.
Also, I cannot write any text in these columns to describe my videos (if I click on the space for writing comments, it just opens up a window to view the video) whereas I was able to do it with version 4 and earlier.
I am using the trial version before buying and would like to know if the purchased version has this problem or not and if it can be fixed?

I could be mis-remembering, but I think that Steve Grisetti has confirmed about what you indicate. I do not know if this was some sort of change in Adobe's thinking, and they did not clean up after themselves, or if this is just a Bug, that needs to be addressed.
Personally, I would file a Bug Report, with the full details, and hope to get a fix in the works.
Also, if I am mis-remembering, I am sure that Steve G. will correct me.

Still have the "Created with Adobe premiere .. trial versions" even after purchasing premiere E 12

I had decided to use the trial version of PE 12 to see if I'd like it before buying it. I used it on a previous project that I had started with a previous version of PE (version 9). After few days, I decided to buy it.
I did, entered the serial number, signed in etc... Now I still have this "Created with Adobe Premiere ...trial version" banner all over the images and video clips? You'd think that Adobe woulld automatically remove this now that I purchased the the program.
Anyone can help me with this?

When you say that you still have the Adobe watermark on your images and video clips, are you specifically talking about those images and video clips within a given project (project.prel file) OR are you referring to exports from the tryout product (file saved to hard drive or burn to disc)?
The Adobe watermark cannot be removed from an export of the Premiere Elements tryout. It can be removed from a project.prel file created in the tryout version. I have found it is an automatic process although some have reported the classical fix worked for them, that being, deleting the rendered files. If you were dealing with your issue at a project.prel level, did that deletion of the rendered files work for you?
If not, this brings up a possibily interesting twist in this FAQ since you are working with a project.prel created in another version before it was opened in Premiere Elements 12. I have always looked at a project.prel created in the tryout not one created in another version and opened in the later version.

Can anybody tell me how can I download Adobe premiere Pro CS4 trial version for windows 7 English.

This is a forum. None of the users here -at least not to my knowledge - are Adobe professional
Ninety-nine point nine percent correct. We are blessed with a few Adobe employees here, unlike some fora, but those folk are probably at NAB right now. Also, they are in other departments, so would have to walk "down the hall," or make a call, just as we would.
When it gets to issues on licensing, installation, etc., we're pretty much at a loss. Most of us have never encountered such issues, and only know what we have read in others' threads, when they have bothered to report back. Even then, that is third-hand info.
Last time that I had an Adobe installation issue was AI 3, IIRC. My upgrade version did not have the old database of S/N's. Mine was 00-000-003, and things had changed drastically. One call to Adobe, and a total time of about 5 mins. (including hold time), and I was given a number to plug in, and then everything installed perfectly. That was in about 1989, so is not quite contemporary. Still, that is the last and only first-person account that I can offer. Most here have zero personal experiences, as they came to the party later, and have just not had any such issues.
We'd love to help, but just do not have the experience.

I understand your issue and I don't have a solution for you. Sorry. In Premiere Pro CC 2014, you can increase the size of the fonts in the Project panel, but not in CS6.

Can I upload movies created in the trial version to Premiere Elements 10 to the actual version (which I am considering buying) without watermarks.

You can remove the watermark once your have a serial number without needing to redo the project. Follow the instructions in the FAQ:
