Premiere Elements 12 Download not working

I downloaded Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 12 from Amazon. The Photoshop portion of the download works great, but the Premiere Elements portion doesn't show up as downloaded. I've tried the set-up and it says it needs the 64-bit version; I've tried the adobe set-up, and it only downloads the Photoshop portion. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I just bought Adobe Premiere Elements 10 to use with my Sony Handycam HDR-XR160 but it just dont work

This is computer I use for My Recording Studio and it's working like a DREAM. I did the same manipulation with other program like IMovie and so on with NO PROBLEM AT ALL .... and the interface was responsive unlike Premiere
I bought your programe thinking I was going for a upgrade from what I was using before and now I can't take it back cause the box is open so please tell me you have a fix or someting cause at the moment ... i'm really not to impress

I still have the same problem I did change the recording from 60p to 60i but the video are still jerky , I know i'm probably the one who's got the problems but I just don't see it !!!

Premiere elements 12 not working.

I have downloaded elements 12 but it won't load a new project. The progress bar flashes and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

It is difficult to navigate a thread when there are two users involved, even with what sounds like similar problem. Problems with the same symptoms can (often do) have different causes.
But for the moment let us see how far we can get in this thread with issue coming from two different sources.
Depending on how things go, the answers may need to come from Adobe via its Adobe Chat.
First I will ask the question that I asked Oliverjohnson
when you restarted the computer, at any time did you get a message to "Sign In" with your Adobe ID and password?
If you do not, the program is not activated. In that case, the matter becomes an activation issue which needs to be addressed by Adobe Chat

After the above link opens, click on the "I still need help" in the opened link to bring up the Adobe Chat.
For Premiere Elements 12, make sure that your NVIDIA video card is up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the video card. I would not write that if you had had Premiere Elements 10.
Please review and then let us know the outcome. Also, check out Computer/Manage/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Applications and see if there are any errors listed that relate to this matter.

Premiere Elements 11 not working on a networked system

Could someone please confirm to me that Premiere Elements 11 does not work with redirected My Documents folders? Is this something Adobe will look to change?

I have long known of the merits of the Homegroup sharing of computers, especially as it is related to printers and non Adobe files on external hard drives.

But on an ethernet home network, it works just fine. I can easily have my program on one computer and my media files and even my project on another and edit a video between them.
That was a great tip which I had not run into before and consequently have not taken advantage of. So, I gave it a try between my Premiere Elements 11 on Windows 7 64 bit and Windows 8 64 (with everything possible being shared between the two as allowed by Homegroup Sharing).
Bottom line is that it did finally work fine, but it took some doing to get there. The final obstacle was clicking Yes to the Open Project message of:
The Scratch Discs are write protected or unavailable. To open this project, the scratch disks will be set to your My Documents folder. Would you like to continue?
Have you run into that?

Try installing from a different source. Use the link below to download the free trial. Its identical to the full disk version. After installation you can activate it with the serial number from your DVD packaging.
It’s a good idea to uninstall PRE12 before you begin the download.

After 2 years Premiere Elements 9 not working

I bought a Dell desktop in 2012 and it came with Premiere Elements 9 installed. Apart from some freezing and shutting down problems, the program has worked fine. Just recently, however, the program stopped working. I can get to the home screen, but when I try to open a new or existing file the program goes nowhere, almost as if it has gone into some kind of loop and it can't complete the opening of the project.
I have reinstalled twice but that hasn't fixed the problem. I am running Windows 7 with 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1. The system is x64 with 8gb RAM, and I currently have over 100 gb hard drive space free. I feel like I've done all the basic fixes that a computer novice can do, but I'm not getting anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

The troubleshooting basics for this might include:
1. Video card/graphics card driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the video card/graphics card. (I am assuming you have just one card, not two. If otherwise, please let us know.)
2. Latest version of QuickTime.
3. Program running as Run As Administrator and from User Account with Administrative Privileges
If your video card/graphics card driver is up to date, then try deleting the BadDrivers.txt file.

and in the 9.0 Folder is the BadDrivers.txt file that you delete. Once you open the program again, the program will generate a new BadDrivers.txt file and hopefully the program is gone. Make sure that you are working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the whole path cited.
Have you tried to delete the Premiere Elements Settings File

Have you gone through the processes of getting rid of pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files. See Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder, Media Cache Files Folder. Also, hit the Clean Button in the Media Cache Database area accessed from Edit Menu/Preferences/Media.
Are you working from the 9.0.1 Update version of Premiere Elements 9?
Please review and then let us know if any of the above had any impact on your issue.

Deactivation, uninstall, ccleaner run through, reinstall with antivirus and firewalls disabled.
Add On...What antivirus program are you running? McAfee, by any chance?

Photoshop and Premiere elements 8 not working after installation

I installed the Premiere Elements 8 and Photoshop Elements 8 on a Sony Vaio with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics card. I can't get a new project to start in the Premiere Elements 8 program to make a DVD. Can anyone help with this?

I spent an entire afternoon with someone at tech support, this person was very patient and nice, but the last thing they suggested was to uninstall and reinstall the program. I did this and still have the same problem. We even went so far as to share screens as I walked throught he problem and still had no results. I am about to ask for a refund of my money if this can't be fixed.

When you open the project, it should ask you where the first file is located. After you tell it where it is, it should be able to find the rest of them if they are located near the first one. Then save the file. If you move the files again, you will have to relink them again.

Can you not install the program? If you cannot, how are you installing it, from an installation disc or installation files from Adobe? Are you looking at the tryout or a purchased product? At what stage of the installation are you blocked and with what messages? Do you have the anti-virus and firewalls turned off? Do you have another other computer protective software installed such as NetNanny?
If you are getting through the installation OK, are you able to Sign In after the installation and restart of the computer?
If you get into the opened project, when does the problem first manifest itself? Is the problem in a new project or in an existing one?
Is the problem in one of the editing features?
Is the problem in one of the export choices?
Other?
The answers will be in the details which allow us to help you.

Adobe Premiere Elements does not open after installation

I have written before last week. I have bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11.
I had a trial version of Photoshop Elements 11 and with the code I could access the full version.
However Premiere Elements did not open after installation. I did not had a trial version so I first downloaded the full program. I went through the whole installation process and everything seemed ok, no error messages. But when I tried to open Adobe Premiere Elements after restarting the computer it did not open at all. Nothing happened.
I have de-installed and re-installed the program for a couple of times over and over again but with not result. Also tried to download the trial version first and also this didn't work. I checked my Quicktime and updated to the latest version.
I use a Windows laptop: Asus Intel Core i5-2430M, 2,4 GHz
I hope you can help me out!

Yes I saw it but PSE (refers to Photo Shop Elements??) and I have trouble with Premiere Elements..(so the video program)
The Photoshop Elements worked.

Adobe premiere elements 9 not editing

This is my second attempt to post (my last one a little while ago didn't appear).
I have bought the above package mainly to edit some club videos. It is driving me mad.
I have a Sony Viao
Vista Home Premium
Service pack 2
Intel Core DUO CPU
2.00 GB Ram
32-bit
I have imported a video from my comcorder to the PC via ION EZ Converter. The video is stored as a .mpg file.
When I open up organiser the thumbnail is there.
The first time I opened organiser I somehow managed to drag the video to the left side of the screen and got a timeline but when I started it up I got sound but no picture. However, now when I open up organiser and go into EDIT, aand try to drag across I get automatically sent into video effects and can't go back!
I was told that the problem may be due to incorrect codecs and I have downloaded K-LITE MEGA Codec but that doesn't seem to have helped.
Before I did this I also got a message in elements
"we have detected an incompatible display driver. To get a better and faster playback performance please update your display driver.
Display driver details: NVIDIA Corporation - GeForce 8400M G7/PCI/SSE2 2.1.1"

Premiere elements 11 stopped working all of a sudden. Says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly" I re-installed it but still the same.
I haven't installed any other apps except adobe reader and there were a few Windows updates but that was it. Some history - I had defraged my hard drive when this started to happen. Wouldn't the re-install have fixed it if the de-frag caused this problem? What is causing elements to stop loading at the splash screen?

If you have not already tried
Have you attempted to delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary,
the whole 11.0 Folder in which it exists.
then, please try the following...
My expectations for the following are not high, but worth the time -
1 uninstall the usual Control Panel way - you might want to uninstall QuickTime at the same time.
2. free ccleaner run through (regular and registry parts)
CCleaner - Download
3. reinstall QuickTime and then Premiere Elements with anti-virus and firewall(s) disabled.
Others on the list...
1. Create a new User Account with Administrative Privileges and install and run Premiere Elements
from there.
2. Use a new set of installation files either from Adobe if you purchased the program from it as an online
download, or get tryout installation files for 11 into which you can insert your purchased serial number.

Adobe Premiere Elements 13 stops working trying to add media via videos from camera

When I try to add media selecting videos from camera or flip, Adobe Premiere Elements 13 stops working and closes. What might be the problem?

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? Have you had the opportunity to update 13 to 13.1 using an opened projects Help Menu/Update?
What are the full properties of your source media and how are you importing them that you are trying to import into the project? A quick way to get that information, if you do not know that information, is for you to post the brand/model/settings for the camera that recorded the video.
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Element 13, and are you running the program as Administrator?
Lots of additional questions, but the answers to the above may give us the answer that you need to resolve you issue.

Premiere Elements 9 not responding

When the software starts to generate a peak file it get up to 99% then the software stops responding. Dell xps 8300,5.9 window experence index,processor intel r core tm i7-2600 [email protected] ghz, installed memory ram 8 gb, system type 64 bit opetating system,amd radeon hd 6450 1gb ddr3.
Sometime it will freeze when I can get film to editing stage and workingon it. Need Help very frustrated.

Premiere Elements does not recognize my blu ray burner LG WH10LS30

I am not able to burn to my LG Bluray Burner (model WH10LS30).
I am able to burn to another standard DVD drive, but I am trying to burn a HD Bluray now.
My drive does have the latest firmware as of 12/2013 and works fine in my Win7 64bit environment
When I try to burn the DVD I get a "No Burners Detected" see attached image

Thanks for the follow up.
1. Did you overcome the Shared Technologies error on reinstall? That is a troublesome issue that is independant of Premiere Elements version and computer operating systems. There are many suggested remedies. The one that has been working for me lately is renaming the OOBE Folder to OLDOOBE before reinstall.

and in the Adobe Folder is the OOBE Folder that you rename if this Shared Technologies error is blocking an install or reinstall.
As for
The setup has detected that ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe dynamiclinkmanager (dynamiclinkmanager.exe)
Opening to Task Manager/Processes, finding those .exe files, and doing an End Process typically takes care of those problems.
Since you have reinstalled the program, you must have succeeded in the above. Great job.
Have you done an inspection, seeking pile ups of preview files, conformed audio, and conformed video files? Is the computer defragmented? These days the defragmentation is done automatically, but worth checking.
You indicated that the video card driver is up to date. Was the latest update done after Premiere Elements 11 was working well? If so, you could look at roll back of the video card driver version. If it does not improve the situation, you could always revert to the one that you know to be current.
A remote possibility that an antivirus update might be involved in the recent events. Have you looked at your present situation with and without the antivirus enabled?
