Premiere Elements 12 wont open project

Hi, have been using PRE 12 for a year or so with no problems, about a month a go whilst using the programme I received a virus which was cleaned but since then I only get the sign on screen and when I choose new project I get the purple and black line for ages then it just sits there, my PC spec is good, Nvidea GTS 450, 6 Gig ram plenty of HHD as I said have had no previous problems I have googled every Q & A and tried everything as follows:-
Scanned with AV from AVG, Avast, Win Defender, Windows essentials all clean no problems, then uninstalled them as not wanting a conflict, tried running with no AV no joy
loaded PRE 12, 5 times now, un installed using windows control panel and Tune up utilities cleaning the registry every time before re installing with fire wall and AV off, found and deleted baddrivers.txt (just the once) disabled the GTS 450 still no joy, rolled it back and tried a previous version, tried loading with diagnostic start up ie nothing else loaded no joy, scandisk, chkdsk, scannow, every type of Windows check I can throw at it, had PRE10 loaded and had the same problem so un installed that, still no joy, ran a Win 7 repair disc (the one you can burn from your own PC) my PC was built professionally (DinoPC) but didn't come with a win 7 disc.
All other programmes run fine, internet fine, it will open the organiser where I down loaded the latest PRE 12 update I am just so frustrated can any one shed some light? Regards Clive.

Thanks for the follow up.
With regard to the hosts file, are you just looking at everything below the line of the hosts file's default text # ::1   localhost, not above that line to # 127.0.0.1  localhost? As I mentioned in the blog post
The Windows 7 64 bit default hosts file is shown in Figure 1. Look for any entries below the line
#  ::1    localhost
If any found, such as, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com, delete them only after a backup of the hosts file is made and saved to the computer desktop for safe keeping.
If you have not already, you may want to consider
a. uninstall the program
b. update the Adobe Application Manager
c. reinstall Premiere Elements 12 with antivirus and firewalls disabled.
What you might want to consider also is getting Adobe involved via its Adobe Chat. To do that you could click on the following link. When it opens, click on the statement "Still Need Help? Contact Us." to bring up the Adobe Chat on the topic of Downloading, Installing, and Setting Up.
Contact Customer Care
I suggest this since it might have some undocumented troubleshooting that might pin point the issue in your situation.
Please review the above and then let us know how you are progressing.
Do not give up.
Thanks.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on?
Has the program ever opened to the Expert workspace or the Quick workspace?
Some of the typical drill questions:
    1. Does the problem exist with and with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Do you have any other security programs
    on your computer?
    2. Are you running the program as Administrator in a home computer in contrast to a school or company network?
    3. Are you using a pen and tablet device instead of a mouse?
    4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
    5. What video card/graphics card does your computer use and is the driver version up to date according to the
web site of the manufacturer of the card?
How far do you get...Welcome Screen, Video Editor, New Project or elsewhere? Any error messages?
Let us start here and then decide what next.
    Thank you.

  • Premiere Elements 12 Windows project to Mac

I started my project on Windows 7 with Premiere Elements 12. Now I want to work with the project on Mac with Premiere Elements 12 (the same version). Unfortunately I got the error "The project is not compatible with current version of Premiere Elements". I used Project Archiver which created a new folder with all files on an external disc. Mac opened it and Premiere started to load it but then threw the error.
Would it be possible to open a project done on Windows with Mac? I really need this because I've done quite a lot work with the project but my Windows license is over and converted to Mac.

    TitusK
The project file (project.prel) created in Premiere Elements Windows cannot be opened in Premiere Elements Mac. The reverse is also true.
One possibility might be to export your Premiere Elements Windows Timeline to the appropriate .mov or .mp4 and then import that file
into Premiere Elements Mac new project. But, from what you wrote about your present circumstances, this does not seem to be possible.
This is the situation with Premiere Elements (any version).
Be aware that there are several Windows Only features in Premiere Elements.
Please do not hesitate to ask if any questions or need further clarification on anything written here.
    Thank you.

Disc burning interrupted at 99%. Problem:\Vobulator\BlockPlanner.ccp,Zeile215. How can I solve this problem?

Thank you very, very much for your help. Stop marker removed - problem
    solved!!!
Before crying out for help I had several (failed) runs sorting out
various probable "suspects" but never even thought of that harmless
    looking little red mark.
By the way, it's PREL 11 I'm working with(I was wrong) but when it comes

  • Premiere Elements 12, New Projects will not open

I have tried to re-install Premiere Elements several times without solving the problem. I pick New Projects and it just goes into never never land and the arrow continues to spin. Then I have to X out of the program.

What antivirus program does not your computer use...McAfee? If so, please disable it and determine if your issues are gone.
Also, right click the Desktop Icon for Premiere Elements 12 and select Run As Administrator.
    If not....
When you have uninstalled reinstalled the program, have you done so from the same installation files downloaded and purchased?
Have you looked a uninstall, ccleaner run through for the computer, reinstall with antivirus and firewalls Off, using a new set of
installation files either from your Orders at Adobe or from the following web site
    http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html
If you do use this link for the download, please read and follow that web site's "Note: Very Important Instructions" so that you do not end up with Access Denied message.
Have you ever gotten as far as to enter into the Expert workspace of the program?

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 0.9 project crash, HELP!

This is the first time I am using these forums, so I hope I posted this in the right sektions.
I need help and solutions for a Project which constantly crashes on my Adobe Premiere Elements 0.9. This program has been awesome and helped me create some projects and videos successfully, up until.... well for about 3 days ago when my latest project crashed when I had just antered and checking the storyboard etc, triggering a "Serious Error" message and then it shuts down. I try again and again, but everytime I try to put something (any sound or video etc) on the storyboard and start working etc the same damn "Serious Error" message and then allways shuts down. It's allways this same and only project (which has worked fine before) that crashes like this...
In an attempt to first solve the problem myself I went through the Premiere Elements 9 files and deleted finnished projects and automatic saved process on projects etc, but still won't work even better... The funny thing is that when I open another project (a finnished project I left saved just in case) and go through the storyboard there and messes around a little and such, it won't crash nor trigger the same message as my latest project. And that program even has some effects on every footageclip on it too, but still it works fine. Haven't touched the program or the program until and since yesterday night to give it some rest but it still won't work, the project just keeps crashing like when and since it first started a few days ago.
I have also read through and tried some things from this Help/Troubleshoot page:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/troubleshoot-damaged-projects-premiere-element s.html
I have so far been doing 1 and 2 of the "Beginning Troubleshooting", otherwise I have been reading it all and such. I am also kinda afraid to do the 3 of the first quests because I worked so hard on this project and even tough it just keeps crushing, I'm afraid to lose it. Other, I have deleted audios and such from my filegallery on my Adobe Premiere Eements, stuff I don't need anymore because its projects are already done. After I did that I also tried to create a new project just for testing. The amazing this about this is that this the new created project I created works just fine, I could do all kinds of the stuff, effects and advanced editing which I did on the same project before it started crushing. Tough I didn't save that test-project since I didn't find a reason to since it worked so good. And so the thing is that I can start and create a new project and start working and do usual stuff on it with no problem, same when I open up another project and do stuff, it all works just fine! It is just this one and only project that keeps crushing with this "Serious Error" message, all the time... Does anybody else have, or has had the same problem? What could the problem and error be and how to fix it?
This crushing project do has some effects on every footageclip/videoclip on it, to set the right mood for the musicvideo I'm making. I am making a musicvideo, and I haven't even done the half of the project/video. The song I am making this musicvideo with is about 00:07:32 in length, and (tough this detail may have no influence or meaning) the music is Symphonic Metal. The actual file of the song is 6,96 MB in size. This is also not the first time I've done such projects with such long songs on this same program either, one of my last videos I managed to successfully make and create a musicvideo with a song which was about 13 minutes and 30 seconds in length, and I also used effects on pretty much every videoclip on that project too.
The current filesize so far on the actual project.prel-file of my project that keeps crushing is 9.73 MB.
I am also using Adobe Premiere Elements and doing this troubleing, crashing project on a PC, a Fujitsu Windows (I believe Windows 7, or even updated to a newer version?). It has a regular ATI-card. The computer also has 2 modems and there's still some pretty GB amount free on them. The PC's main system also has a RAM in 6.00 GB and the operative system is the 64-bites.
In short, the PC should just fine be able to handle Adobe Premiere Elements 0.9 and all its projects, just as it has handled it all before plus all my PC games at that. So it must be something with my Adobe Premiere Elements and that specific project which is the problem, but what is the problem and the serious error and how to fix it?
Could it help to save and create the actual video in this crashing project, delete that project then start a new project, upload and put in the videofile of the crashing project in that new project and then continue from there?
In either cases, I need help with this. Please, help!

Thanks so much for your reply, Steve!
Even tough I trust you guys enough here on the official Adobe site/forums to answer those questions as best I can, I am at the same time not very fond of giving away too much information because of safety. I understand I have to If I'm to recieve the accurate answers and solution, but as this is the internet you can never know. But again, I trust you guys enough on here and thus I'll try to answer those questions as best I can, even tough I am not very good with such stuff about computers. The PC I am using is also not only mine, it is the family computer also which me and my whole family uses.
The operating system on my computer (according to the computer propotions etc) is a 64-bites operating system and the computer/PC is also a Windows 7 Home Premium.
The processor the computer/PC have is a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU and the RAM is 6.00 GB. However, (and I hope I make this understandable because the computer/PC is in swedish)the subscore of RAM in the computer's Performance-Classification/Ranking is 7,5. The processor subscore is 7,3 per second. And the free space? Well, we have two modems, let's say a modem A and a modem B. Adobe Premiere Elements 0.9 is set to save all its stuff etc on modem B, while modem A is the main modem and spaces all main stuff and other things of the computer/PC. Modem A has about 314 GB of free space, while modem B has 207 GB of free space. Modem A's capacity is a total of 489 GB in which 175 GB has been used, the modems filesystem is a NTFS. Modem B is also a NTFS filesystem and its capacity is a total of 439 GB in which 232 GB has been used. And the Disk Cleanup? I believe my that latest ran it for about a few weeks ago. We also have a CCleaner also. But about the Disk Defragmenter, I have no idea. What exactly does a Disk Defragmenter do?
You mean, entering my project that keeps crushing and simply rename it by using "Save As"? If that is what you mean, I dunnow If that actually worked. When I still tried to do stuff and edit the crashing project (tough as said, it hardly took any changes and process before it triggered that message) and then crashed and shut down, and I opened up the program again (trying to open the same project that way), it asked me If I wanted to re-create the missing process from the last crash of the same project. I tried it and it automaticly was renamed to a for example Project.copy. But when I tried to work with that it was to no futher success, the project kept crashing. I haven't renamed the project by "Save As" tough, but I doubt it'll work, I even tried to rename the actual project file in the Adobe Premiere Elements files but nope... the project keeps crashing. But also about the same question, "Save As" under a new name but in its own folder? You mean the actual project folder or Adobe Premiere Elements preview folder of the projects?
My camcorder is pretty old by now, have had it since I turned 15, it has worked pretty good since then. Its model is a Sony Handycam, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar OPTICAL 20x. Even tough the last thing maybe doesn't say anything, this is all I know about my camcorder, except that it is a model no. DCR-HC17E PAL. But in that Project  which keeps crashing, there are only a few actual camcorder clips used as I am making a Game-MusicVideo and most of the footage of the Video-game (actually a PC game) I'm making a musicvideo of is downloaded from Youtube mostly from a guy I asked permission for to download his recorded footage of the game. I used a Youtube downloader called ClipConverter. As I don't have a SD card I cannot make this footage myself. But some footage I recorded on my camcorder, but If I can find high quality clips and get them, I will. The other footages is actual official trailers of the PC games which also was downloaded from the net. But I can give you the stuffs filetypes and hoping that may help. The downloaded footage which was downloaded by this ClipConverter, are MP4 files. The other stuff (which were official trailers) and most of them are also MP4 files, the others are QuickTime-film files. Many of these downloaded footages and trailers are also in HD quality, at least some of them I think.
The actual filetype ofthe footage I myself recorded with my camcorder are, well.... it says Videoclip in the file. Maybe it is AVI?
The project settings? You mean the settings you set at first when starting as a new project? The general settings are, in editingsettings it is AVCHD 270p square pixel. This is kinda hard for me to tell since everything is in swedish in my program. But these settings has worked perfectly before, same with all files, footages and videoclips I have been using, also all the soundfiles etc. Even the actual crashing project worked perfectly before it started crashing... So why does it so suddenly start crashing now?
The audio is a song I copied directly from its album and CD into the computer/PC and it seems to be in WMA format in filetype.
And lastly, no I haven't rendered the timeline of the project ever, not even on my other projects. What does the rendering do and is useful for? I have very little knowledge of it. Other, I keep the Timeline mode open all the time because I can edit my videos much better with it, but perhaps that editing method make little influence of the actual problem.
Other, yesterday when writing the post and topic, I forgot to mention that I restarded my computer right after I created a new project, that testing project. When finnished with the testing I restarted the computer. Since then I haven't touched the crashing project since now tonight, when checking its settings for this post. I am also right now trying to create and save the actual videofile of it, saving it on my computer. I'll soon see If it's successful without any crashing interruptions, plus that the video itself works and is smooth when I'll play it on Windows Media Player like all the rest of my other videos. I do this just in case I must create a new project to be able to continue with my musicvideo, as the first part of it I worked very hard on.
Other and again, I am still puzzled about why this is even happening, that this project which worked perfectly fine before, just suddenly starts triggering that "Serious Error" message and crashes. And in this program which worked so perfect before. Has this happened to anyone else before? Has anyone else experienced the same issue I have? Is this a knowledgable issue which has solutions and ways to fix it?... :/

  • Premiere doesn't open project after update

    Hi,
I've installed Premiere PRO CC Upgrade by creative cloud.
Now I'm trying to open project I was working but application says "It doesn't answer".
    Why ?
    What's happened ?

I know this is not version 11 or 12, but what version of Premiere Elements earlier than 11 and 12 are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Are you running a single or dual monitor setup?
As a just in case measure, go to Window Menu/Restore Workspace and click on Restore Workspace.
Here is some information on Time Lapse video and Premiere Elements for your review

We could go for deleting the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file or deactivation/uninstall/ccleaner run through/reinstall but let us see what the answers are to the above first.
    Thanks.

  • Premiere Elements 9 Opens with Altered Workspace, then Locks Up

After starting to learn Premiere Elements 8 in a classroom setting I decided to buy the software. With Premiere Elements 9 available I purchased that version and installed it on my home PC.
My System: HP Pavilion dv9500 Notebook PC, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU, T7500 @ 2.20GHz; 4.0 GB RAM; 32-bit Operating System, Windows Vista Business, Service Pack 2; DirectX version 11.0; NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS.
The installation (from a DVD) appeared to go normally. I used the program less than one day just checking on what new features the 9 version had over the 8 version. During that time it appeared to be very similar to what I had learned with version 8 in the class that I took. When I retrieved video files (from a DVD) that had been supplied with the “Adobe Premiere Elements 9 Classroom In A Book” and started some of the exercises, the program locked up and gave me the following message: “Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project.”
After closing the program and reopening it the workspace was not normal. The Tasks panel was missing; the Monitor panel and My Project panel were present but were free floating (they could be dragged about the screen with the mouse).
To try to get the regular workspace back I clicked Window > Restore Workspace. When I did that I got the “Sorry, a serious error…” message every time I tried it.
I next uninstalled Premiere Elements 9 using Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall. The only thing that I uninstalled was the 1.9GB Adobe Premiere Elements program. Then I re-installed it. That however, did not correct the problem.
Several threads on the Adobe Forum have suggested that the Event Viewer should be examined to see if it held any clues. I have done that and copied the seven Information Events and one Error Event that seemed to be associated with the timeframe of my opening the program, but not being very technically inclined I am not sure what to look for. It if it would help resolve my problem I can post those Events.
Any help with resolving my problem will be greatly appreciated.

Bill Hunt, thanks for your reply
For the Workspace, go to Window>Reset Workspace.
I did that and got the "Sorry, serious error..." message as I mentioned in the original post.
You can certainly type out, or do a screen-cap for the Event Viewer errors. The ones that will the most use to you will be ones with links. Often, those will lead to MS Web messages, such as a "driver" problem.
I have copied below the results of the Event Viewer attempt to find clues to my problem. As far as I could see there there were no links to MS or other solutions. The times that are underlined indicate my operations on the computer. The copied screen shots that follow indicate the Event Viewer results.
8:46 – Opened PrE and with Welcome screen open & let it run until hard drive lights stopped blinking. All of the following Information Events were listed between 8:46:08 and 8:46:19
8:49 – Clicked on New Project, that ran the progress bar for about 30 seconds, then I got message that previous project closed unexpectedly and did I want to recover old project. The following Information Event was listed at 8:49:19'
8:50 – Clicked No to recover old project and got a blank PrE grey screen.
8:51 – Clicked File > New Project (named it New Project-3) and OK, then corrupted workspace opened. The hard drive lights continued to blink until 8:53.
8:53 – With the mouse I moved the Monitor panel to uncover the Menu bar, then clicked on Window > Restore Workspace. At that point I got the “Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Elements to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project.”
8:55 – Clicked OK on their offer to save project and the “Sorry, serious error” dialog box went away. Now it was no longer a PrE screen, just white with the 2 panels still present. A mouse click on a blank area deleted the 2 panels and the spinning dougnut was still spinning. The following Information Event was listed at 8:56:18
8:57 – Opened Task Manager and the 2 panels reappeared. A Microsoft Windows dialog box opened saying that Adobe PrE 9 was not responding with option to close program which I did. The last two Events (the first an Information Event and the second an Error Event) were listed at 8:57:39 and 8:57:51

  • Premiere Elements saved my project with a hue/ over saturation on all my clips in the project

I'm a first time user of Premiere elements 12 and my first project was finished without a hitch but when I published the video the end result has over saturation/hue in the entire video. I go back in to see what happened to the project and when I reopened the project it seems all my clips have been altered as well. I have not touched anything in the adjust tab or applied any effects. However the thumbnails on the timeline bar under quick view have the correct colors. Does anyone know how to revert this effect, check to see if I accidentally hit something or have a possible solution?
    Thanks for your help.
    Ben

    Chilisause
I believe that SG gave you the key to your issue when he wrote
Have you applied any effects -- including Auto Fix -- to your clips? If you open the Adjust panel, do you see a little green dot on any of hte Adjustment options, indicating that an effect has been applied? (Since the clip looks fine on your timeline but not in the Monitor panel, the indication is that you've applied an effect or adjustment.)
Pretty sure his "Auto Fix" was meant to be "Smart Fix". To prove or disprove "Smart Fix" as the factor here, please try the following quick test...
    Open a new project
Go to Expert workspace Edit Menu/Preferences/General and make sure that there is a check mark next to the option
"Show all do not show again messages".
Then import from the hard drive one of these images that have developed a purple sky displayed in the Edit area monitor only.
When you drag the image to the Timeline, do you see the following pop up?
If you do not get that pop up, then end of idea. If you do, then
first put a check mark next to "Do not show again" and then click the No button.
Moving forward, you should not be getting any more purple skies unless you want them and create them
with one of Premiere Elements effects on your own.
Please let SG know if his suggestion was on target for the Smart Fix involvement in your issue.
    Thanks.

  • Premiere Elements not Opening

I bought Premiere Elements about a week ago. I installed it, opened and used it. Now, not but a week later, it will not open. I have a computer running Windows 8, I have no clue why it won't open. I uninstalled and re-installed it will no luck. Tried contacting Adobe support and was disconected after a hour and a half of waiting... Please help! I need it for my school project!
    Thanks!

I tried, that didn't work... It stops the process of opening once it hits here.
After that it pops this up.

  • Premiere Elements 7 missing project settings...

    Hi all,
I am using Premiere Elements v7.0 with a Canon Vixia HV30 camcorder attached. I am having some issues getting my project settings to match my HDV camcorder and the HD video i want to import. When I launch Elements and the welcome screen is open, i click "new project" followed by "change settings" under project settings. From here my understanding is that I should be able to choose from multiple presets that correspond to the quality of the video i am inputing. However, when i open "change settings" it is completely blank. The settings are defaulted to NTSC-DV Standard 48khz and I can't change them. I have tried having my camcorder plugged in and turned on thinking maybe Elements needed to see my camcorder, but the list is still blank.
If i try to get media from my HDV camcorder, i get the message "your current camera setting is different from your project settings. Results may not be optimized." After i close that error message, i am able to playback video and capture, but I am unsure if it is in high-def or not. I would think the project settings need to match the HD quality that i am importing.
Can anyone help me with this issue? Has anyone seen or heard of this before? Thanks for your time.

Hoorah, I have solved this problem on my machine (Intel Quad core with Vista x64 and 8GB RAM).
I sent a support email to Adobe over a week ago but they have not even had the grace to acknowledge receipt. What an amazing way to treat customers that have paid for your product! And that's after providing screen grabs and detailed descriptions of the symptoms.
    Anyway, to the solution.
After many attempts to install, uninstall, repair install etc with UAC turned off, Virus protection turned off and Running everything as Administrator, nothing would yield any Preset choices for new projects.
    So I did the following:
    - uninstalled my paid for version
    - downloaded and installed the Trial version from Adobe.com (670MB download) (I ran the exe to extract the files, stopped it automatically rolling into the Setup routine, right clicked on the msi file in the extracted folder and chose "Install")
    - Ran the Trial version once - all the presets were available. But I could not activate the Trial with my genuine serial number (?!)
    - uninstalled the trial version by right clicking on the msi in the extracted folder and choosing "Uninstall" - this removed most of the program but interestingly left behind a few folders in the Program Files (x86)\Adobe Premiere Elements 7 folder, in particular the "Settings" folder and all its sub-folders which is where the Project presets are stored
    - installed my paid for version by right clicking on the msi file on the DVD and choosing "Install", and entering the serial number at the start of the install routine)
Hey presto, I have a fully functioning install with a full choice of presets.
I have been careful to describe the exact steps I followed. I suspect that "Installing" the "msi" file has exactly the same effect as running the Setup.exe but I have no interest in going through any more installs/uninstalls to prove it! Interestingly, the "uninstall" right click against the msi to remove the trial version does not throw up any Adobe dialogue boxes - it seems to be a Windows level removal, but it leaves the vital folders behind.
I have no idea why the trial version will not let you install the legitimate serial number - the purchased version accepts it but the Trial puts up a red cross when you enter it.
I hope this works for others. If someone is willing to try it, it may be as simple as having a fully populated "Settings" folder present. Extracting the contents of "settings.zip" from the Trial download (it's in the CoreTemplates folder) into the following folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0\settings) may be sufficient.

Any suggestions? Users have rights to all Adobe folders...

Im facing more or less the same issue.
APE 12 was installed on a Windows 8.1 System as a bundle with Photoshop Elements 12.
Photoshop is able to run as expected. But APE 12 could never being started.
I recieved during the installation the request to register the product (but im not able to find it under my Adobe account til yet).
I could only once choose to start at next time without opening organizer popup but now I´m getting always
    the message
    "Premere Elements Debug Entry:
Premere Elements has encountered an error.
    ...\src\core\preferences.cpp-347
I tried to uninstall and reinstall.
I have updated Windows 8.1 to the newest available software fixes.
Also Quicktime is updated yesterday to the latest version.
I also tried to start APE by using the "start as admin" feature.
I have also tried to change the user permissions in the folder D:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 12 as mentioned in other threads.
The used Windowws 8.1 client system is member of a Domain.
The user is a local administrator user and uses local ressources only.
I have also updated yesterday the Grafic Card Adapter driver for the installed
    NVIDIA Geforce GT 440.
    The Processor is INtel Core i7 870 @ 2,9 GHz (6 cores)
    6 GByte Memory is installed.
I thought it would be feasible to download pathces for the software but I was not able to find such a place like it is known from other software vendors.
I would kindly ask for your support.

  • Premier Elements wont open or work on Windows 8 64bit operating system.

I have a windows 8 64 bit operating system. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Adobe Premier Elements 12 and downloaded the 64bit operating software.  This is the 2nd computer I've installed the software on as I upgraded to a better computer. Photoshop works just fine however, Premier Elements will not open on this computer.  Every time I attempt to open it a prompt to login within 12 days or I will no longer have access appears.  I login with my adobe username and password which are the same for when I downloaded the software in 2013.  I uninstalled and re-installed Premier Elements and still have the same issue. Upon re-install I was able to enter the serial number, but this still did not fix it. I can't get Premier to run and need help figuring out the problem. Has this happened to others and what's the solution if so?  Thank you
