Premiere Elements 13 (Mac 10.8.5) stürzt bei mir immer gleich beim Start ab.
Mein MacBookPro 15 (Early 2011, OS X 10.8.5, 16 GB RAM, i7 2.0 Ghz) dürfte doch eigentlich nicht das Problem sein.
Hat hier evtl. jemand eine Idee?

habe mir vor ein paar Monaten die CS6 - Design & Web Premium geholt.
Funktioniert auch alles super. Bis auf InDesign. Das stürzt leider beim Start immer ab.
Es lässt sich auch nicht starten beim erneut öffnen ...
hab schon mit deinstallieren versucht aber immer das gleiche
kann mir irgendjemand helfen?
oder hat jemand ne Telefon Helpline von Adobe? Existirt sowas überhaupt? suche mich hier langsam verrückt.

Illustrator CS6 stürzt beim Start plötzlich ab. Das Programm funktionierte mehrere Monate.
Habe das Programm versucht auf einem anderen Rechner zu installieren. Die gleiche Fehlermeldung.
Betriebssystem ist Windows 7 64-Bit.

Sorry, aber das klingt unglaubhaft. Ein anderer Rechner hat genau dasselbe Problem?
Da es vorher ging, muß es mit einer Systemveränderung zu tun haben. Ich tippe mal auf Windows Updates. Das hieße dann auch, der andere Rechner hat denselben Stand, auch unglaublich bzw. unerhört, wie ich finde. Da steht Windows Update wohl "Auto" und zieht sich alles rein, was es finden kann. Kein Wunder, daß solche Probleme entstehen. Mehr als die Hälfte aller Windows Updates braucht man gar nicht, weil die Funktionen betreffen, die die meisten gar nicht nutzen.
Da hilft nur Systemwiederherstellung auf ein Datum vor dem Tag, an dem der Ärger anfing, oder die Windows Updates seit dem Tag X sukzessive zu deinstallieren, um den Schurken zu identifzieren.

Ich finde leider keine Antwort auf meine Frage:
Wenn ich Adobe Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 12 [Mac & PC], wie es im Paket bei Amazon angeboten wird auf meinem Mac installiere und eines Tages auf einen PC umsteigen möchte; ist das mit derselben Lizenz möglich oder müsste ich die Software dann erneut kaufen?

If you originally purchased a download you can download the free trial for windows using the link below. Your serial number will still be valid on both platforms for PSE12. Older versions were platform specific as mentioned by Barbara.

Installing premiere elements mac osx 10.9.4

For a while now I have been trying to install PE12 on my Mac computer with Osx 10.9.4. The installer won't even start. It will start to initialize but crashes when is reaches two-thirds of the initialization.
Can anyone help?

Premiere Elements 12 on Win8.1 x64 isn't starting

Hi,
I'm using Win8.1, x64. After slecting new project for Premiere Elements 12 I just get the waiting bar and nothing more.
I already activated DirectPlay in the windows features.
What do i have to do to get it working ?

CC Software stürzt beim Start ab/CC software crashes at startup

Hallo. Ich habe das CC Abo für Schüler und nutze dies seit Dezember 2014. Seit ca. einer Woche tritt bei mir (bei JEDEM CC Programm) folgendes Problem auf:
-Ich öffne ein Programm aus der Creative Cloud
-Kurz nach dem öffnen (Startbild erscheint) reagiert das Programm nicht mehr und muss beendet werden.
Ich habe schon probiert:
-Bei Creative Cloud abmelden und neu anmelden
-Beim starten strg+shift+alt drücken und Voreinstellungen löschen
-%Appdata% -> Roaming/Adobe löschen
-Alle Programme deinstallieren und neu installieren
Ich sehe es nicht ein Geld für Software zu bezahlen, die dann im Endeffekt nicht funktioniert und mich jeden Abend nach 3 Stunden herumprobieren zur Weißglut bringt.
Zumal ich noch Schüler bin und das Geld auch anderweitig verwenden könnte.
Außerdem bin ich jemand, der nichts von Crack Versionen hält, da ich es vor mir selbst nicht rechtfertigen kann die Arbeit der Programmierer nicht wertzuschätzen, sehr traurig ist es aber, dass Menschen, welche diese Crack Versionen nutzen nicht mit solchen Problemen zu kämpfen haben und NEIN in diesem Fall ist das meiner Meinung nach keine Frage des Anwenders.
Da ich beim Support Center nie jemanden erreiche habe ich jetzt die wertvolle Zeit der Menschen verschwendet, die das hier gelesen haben, Sorry dafür.
Dennoch würde ich mich über eine hilfreiche Antwort freuen, vielleicht gibt es ja noch andere Nutzer mit demselben Problem, im Internet habe ich sonst nämlich merkwürdigerweise niemanden gefunden...

Can you do Green Screen/Blue Screen/Chroma Key on Adobe Premiere Elements 12 for mac? If not, what are the alternatives?

ChromaKey, GreenScreen Key, and BlueScreen Key are not included in Premiere Elements Mac.
Some suggest Videomerge as the alternative. I do not. But Videomerge is not THE alternative.
Instead, I prefer the Difference Matte as a substitute for the 3 absent keying effects. Please check out my blog post on that which includes

Premiere Elements 12 Windows project to Mac

I started my project on Windows 7 with Premiere Elements 12. Now I want to work with the project on Mac with Premiere Elements 12 (the same version). Unfortunately I got the error "The project is not compatible with current version of Premiere Elements". I used Project Archiver which created a new folder with all files on an external disc. Mac opened it and Premiere started to load it but then threw the error.
Would it be possible to open a project done on Windows with Mac? I really need this because I've done quite a lot work with the project but my Windows license is over and converted to Mac.

The project file (project.prel) created in Premiere Elements Windows cannot be opened in Premiere Elements Mac. The reverse is also true.
One possibility might be to export your Premiere Elements Windows Timeline to the appropriate .mov or .mp4 and then import that file
into Premiere Elements Mac new project. But, from what you wrote about your present circumstances, this does not seem to be possible.
This is the situation with Premiere Elements (any version).
Be aware that there are several Windows Only features in Premiere Elements.

Videomerge looks messy and difference matte kills the foreground and difference video entirely, leaving only the background

What version of Premiere Elements are you using on your Mac computer?
Did you apply the Difference Matte write up that I posted? Many Premiere Elements Windows and Mac users have reported using the technique described for Green Screen.

You cannot use Premiere Elements Mac project files on Premiere Elements Windows.
And, you cannot use Premiere Elements Windows project files on Premiere Elements Mac.

Why does my Premiere Elements 10 for mac freeze?

Why does my Premiere Elements 10 for mac freeze (makes spinning circle loading) and doesn't stop when I am asked to select my country/region? I already had trouble downloading it originally because there was an error downloading, and then the following image happens (note: the screenshot couldn't capture the spinning circle freeze, but just look at the "application not responding" message below):
Why does this happen? I downloaded and opened photoshop elements 10 (that came with the bundle) fine, but I can't open this.
For reference, I am using a mac book pro from 2012 that is 64bit on OS X 10.8.5.
Edit: Also, for the aforementioned error that I was getting earlier when installing, I would try to install and then half way through it said that the download failed. I had to follow the second method to fix in this link:

1. Not sure what you mean by 2 warranty licenses that the CD comes ith in the package.
If you purchased the Premiere Elements 10 Mac in boxed packaging, then you should have an installation disc and a purchased serial number. You cannot lose that. You can install and reinstall the program when you need to do so. There is no limit on uninstalling or reinstalling. The only limit is Adobe allows you to have your purchased serial number on no more than 2 of your computers. We can talk about it some more if necessary but there is a distinction between Deactivate and Uninstall. There has not been a limit on Deactivations in years.
Another approach if you think your installation files or disc is corrupt is to download tryout files from the following web site and then install from them and insert you purchased serial number at installation.

You have to read the Note: Very Important Instructions very carefully otherwise you end up with Access Denied.
If you think that we are now in sync, then I would suggest
a. Delete the preference file (settings file)
or
b. Deactivate, uninstall, ccleaner run through, reinstall as per your instructions that worked for you.
I will be watching for further details in the morning. Hopefully some of the Premiere Elements Mac users will join the thread to give the Mac perspective to the situation.

Transferring Premiere Elements 12 files from Mac to Windows

I am adminstrating an oral history project. We have several people who will be editing using Premiere Elements 12.
The computers will be Macs and Windows.
We need to be able to transfer project files and completed movies between both types of computers.
Fats32 is limited because files can only be 4G and the raw files are about an hour and the finished file will be able 13-15GB
NTFS can only be read by MACs and written by Windows
HFS+ only written and read by MACs
Any suggestions for what media can be used to transfer and this is another big questions will a ac file be readable by windows and visa-versa

I am strictly an Elements Windows person but, taking that out of the equation, I would go Windows.
Premiere Elements Windows and Mac are essentially the same in video editing principles, but there are differences between the two. And, these differences often end up with Premiere Elements Mac on the short side...many Windows Only features.
A while back I wrote a blog post on Mac Information Round Up to try to focus in on the Premiere Elements Mac situation. That blog post link is

Included in the blog post is a long list of WIndows Only Effects. The most annoying Windows Only for the Mac people appears to be related to the Green Screening Key, Blue Screen Key, Chroma Key. I propose the use of the Difference Matte for Premiere Elements Mac users as mentioned in the blog post.
And, the Elements Organizer in Premiere Elements Windows does come with a slideshow feature.
If you are going to go Windows, best have Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer so that it is a 64 bit application which can take advantage of the 64 bit resources. Check me on this, but I am almost certain that Premiere Elements Mac needs to be on 64 bit, but also with 64 bit processor in order for it to be a 64 bit application.
If there are to be "flaws" in the program, they are more likely to be troubleshooted to resolution in Premiere Elements Windows than Premiere Elements Mac. Versions of Premiere Elements Mac purchased from the Mac App Store have been highly problematic, and the cause(s) often left unresolved.
That is my take on the matter.

Where is the green screen keying effect in Premiere Elements 12 for Mac?

I have installed Premiere Elements 12 on My Mac, and I can't find the green screen keying effect in the efx window. Is this only available in the Windows version, or is it somewhere else in this version?

Premiere Elements 12 Mac does not come with ChromaKey, GreenScreen Key, or BlueScreen Key.
Videomerge is not a renaming of GreenScreen Key. It is just a substitute suggested by some for ChromaKey, GreenScreen Key, or BlueScreen Key that are not included in Premiere Elements 12 Mac.
If you want a substitute for ChromaKey, GreenScreen Key, or BlueScreen Key, I would suggest that you look at the Difference Matte under fx Effects/Keying/.
