Adobe Premiere Elements 11 Serial Code Invalid

I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 11 from Amazon a few days ago because APE12 is not compatible with my computer, plus, I liked 11 when I tried it. I started to load the program into my computer, but when it asked for the serial number on the box, it said it was invalid. The customer service rep I was talking to said she'd look into it and it would take 3-4 minutes, but that was an hour and a half ago. The program is new (according to the sticker on the box), so I don't know what's wrong. I have a feeling I was took. Does anyone have any insight?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Serial Number Issue

I downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 (after checking the system requirements) but the serial numbers Adobe gave me are for that software but for version 13 which will not work on the iMac OS I have (Needs 10.8 and above). I need to get the correct serial numbers but Adobe chat says it isn't possible and have to use 13. Am I stuck with Version 13?

I would look for some means of contacting someone relative to the Education Exchange. I have no familiarity with it myself so I can't direct you anywhere, but maybe they have their own contact links or forum for discussion.
Do you have some problem with using version 13 or is it just that you acquired the files thru interface you show? If you have serial numners for 13 and your machine can handle it, go for getting it...

Photoshop Elements 12 & Premiere Elements 12 serial number.

Hi,
The combined Photoshop Elements 12 & Premiere Elements 12 DVD package that I have bought does not have a serial number that will work to install the software. The serial number on the box does not have enough digits (it has 18), there is no insert card, and the envelopes containing the DVD's have no numbers at all.
Can anyone help please?

It was an Amazon purchase - I checked the receipt but Amazon haven't supplied any kind of code for it. I was hoping it would be on a sticker on the DVD sleeves like the copy of Lightroom I bought, but these are just blank sleeves. Maybe a batch has got out without the numbers in there.
I have talked to Amazon and they are sending me another box tomorrow, so I will see if that one has a serial number or code. If it does not I will have to return it and try a download instead.

Useable Premiere Elements 11 Serial Number

I bought Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 together last year from Amazon.com. When I tried to start Premiere on my old computer, it was taking forever, so I started and registered Elements 11. Because I bought them together in one box, I didn't realize I had to register Premiere Elements with a separate serial number. Now, I have a better computer and want to use Premiere Elements on it. I was able to recover my registered serial number for Elements 11, but while I have the disks, I can't find the original packaging with the serial number for Premiere Elements 11.
I realize it's my fault I misplaced the packaging. It's also at least partly my fault that I didn't realize the two disks were separate and needed two serial numbers needed to register. Still, Adobe support'a chat is unwilling to help me register this legitimately purchased product that I can prove I bought because I bought it from Amazon, which they say isn't an authorized seller.
Do I have any other recourse to register and use this legitimately purchased product?

Thanks to all of you who responded. You should all work for Adobe because your customer relations skills are greater than those of the person I spoke to on chat about this issue.
Maybe I should have known, but i didn't have to know that I needed two serial numbers. Both programs installed just fine. I registered Elements the day I got it and established an Adobe ID and password. I had a previous version of Elements and don't remember if I established the password at the time I registered my first or second version.
Elements 11 ran very slowly on the old computer. I tried to start Premiere Elements but it ran even more slowly than Elements did and since I had no videos to edit, I abandoned the process, thinking one registration was all I needed and that I could return to Premiere Elements when I had some time and some video to edit. I didn't get to a registration screen on Premiere Elements and I figured one disk, one password. Maybe I should have known, but I didn't and as far as I got in the process, nothing explained it to me.
Next, and clearly my mistake, I misplaced the packaage with serial number information on it.
That was a year ago. This week, I got a new computer. I installed both programs. Again, no problem. I was able to recover the serial number for Elements 11 and register it on my new computer. The only painful part of that process was how long it took to get on chat with a representative who was helpful. Elements runs faster on my new computer, so I started Premiere Elements. It also runs faster on this computer, so I got to the registration screen and tried to register it using the serial number I had just recovered. Having reached the registration screen for Premiere Elements for the first time this week and tried to register it was when I discovered that I needed two serial numbers for one disk.
I'm trying not to disparage the second person I reached on chat, but he or she did suggest that I should return year-old software I've been using and no longer have the original package for to Amazon, since Amazon is not an authorized seller of Adobe products, and rebuy it from an authorized seller. Whether the person on chat was stupid, I can't say, but that answer certainly was. They said they were unable to help me because Amazon is an unauthorized seller. That does imply that I could be helped if I bought it from an authorized seller. Does buying from an authorized seller make a difference? If it does, how was I as a first-time customer supposed to know that it's bad to buy from the world's largest retailer?
Since chat person #2 implied the reason I couldn't be helped is that I bought from an unauthorized seller, that also implies I could be helped if I bought it from an authorized seller. I have the disk (and the Mac disk too) and can prove I didn't pirate it or even buy it used, so I hoped someone could help me to register Premiere Elements now that I have a computer that will at least let me start it and can get to the point where I know it needs to be registered under a second serial number I once had, but can no longer locate.
All three of you are telling me no. It makes me feel bad that there seems to be no way for me to recover from an error I made that I think was a reasonable error to make. However, all three of you told me no without condescending and in a much nicer tone than chat person #2 and all three of you responded quickly, unlike Adobe chat. So, I do feel good about coming here and thank all three of you for your time.

Where to find Premiere Elements 10 serial number?

I need to move Premiere Elements 10 from a desktop to my new laptop. From what I've read, I'm supposed to download it from Adobe, and insert the serial number at the appropriate point in time. However I don't know where to find the serial number. Where? Thanks!

But, I hunted for this prior thread and found it. Perhaps John can reopen your new thread that he closed long enough for him to insert a referral link to the one we are in now?

Does the situation still exist at this time where your serial number as displayed at Adobe for your purchased Premiere Elements 10 is being
cited as Invalid during your installation of it?
Have you tried the installation with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? If so, then Adobe is the only one who can help you with this
serial number and activation issue. See if you can get it to do that even though the current version 12 is not involved. Our best
chances are under the Adobe Chat category of "Orders" or the Adobe Chat category "Serial number issues or Activating My Product".
The challenge is to find an active Adobe Chat link.

Install premiere elements with serial number

I purchased photoshop elements 13 and premiere elements bundle. Was able to download photoshop elements but cannot find anywhere to download premiere elements. I have the serial number for the purchase. Anyone know where to find the place to download the program, not the trial?

If you download the trial you can use the serial number from your purchase to activate it to full use. There is no difference between trial and full version except for the time limit on the trial.

Why wont adobe premiere elements accept serial number ?

Can't Open Premiere Elements Without Serial Code

I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements at Best Buy and then put the software on my MacBook Air that is owned by the school. Over the summer that school erased everything on the computer so now when I want to open Premiere Elements, it asked for the serial code, which I no longer have. Is there anything I can do? Or am I going to get robbed 100 bucks.

Loosing the registration code from any software is about the same as burning hundred dollar bills. In this case a brand new copy of Premier Elements 13 is $60 for the DVD version. B&H Photo Video

I lost my Premiere Elements 7 serial number!

I recieved this as a gift when I was very young, and I am not even sure I registered it, as it does not show up on my account. This product was my first Adobe product of 2 (Photoshop Elements as well), and I decided to break it out again!
Since, I have bought a new computer, of course I need to download again; however I cant without a serial number! Please help!

Reinstallation of Premiere Elements failed because of "invalid serial number"

However, the serial number (from the MyAdobe) does not work. I get an "invalid serial number" message. What to do?

Error "Registration information is invalid" when you start Premiere Elements 7 (Windows)

Issue
When you start Adobe Premiere Elements 7 for the first time, Premiere Elements returns the error message "Registration information is invalid. Please reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements."
Solution
Do one of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Install Premiere Elements 7 using the Premiere Elements 7 serial number.
If you purchased Premiere Elements bundled with Photoshop Elements, you may have used the Photoshop Elements serial number included in the pack to install Premiere Elements. Uninstall Premiere Elements and reinstall Premiere Elements using the Premiere Elements serial number.
Note: The Premiere Elements serial number starts with the number set 1143. The Photoshop Elements serial number starts with the number set 1057.
Solution 2: Use a Company Name with 40 single-byte characters or fewer, or 20 double-byte characters or fewer.
When installing Premiere Elements, you are asked to provide a user name, a company name, and a serial number. While the company name field is not a required field for installation, if you choose to enter data, do not enter a name that contains more than 40 single-byte characters or more than 20 double-byte characters.
Note: A single-byte character is any character in the standard ASCII character set. English language characters are all single-byte characters. Double-byte character code uses two bytes to represent one character. The double-byte character set was developed for the Japanese, Chinese, and Korean characters sets. Many extended ASCII characters are also double-byte.
Solution 3: Install Premiere Elements to a location that does not contain extended ASCII characters in the file path.
Do not install Premiere Elements to a location that uses extended ASCII characters in the file path. Extended ASCII characters include characters such as , –, ›, †, ‡, ‘, Ÿ.
Note: The default installation path for Adobe Premiere Elements does not contain extended ASCII characters.

Thanks. I thought of that. But won't I get whammied for registration again? I just registered this at adobe last month after rebuilding a crashed system. In other words, will Adobe know that I've uninstalled it, and therefore have an available license? Thanks for the welcome.
