Premiere Elements 9 - Download still available?

Premiere Elements 9 - need to move it from one computer to another. I do not have a CD. I understand the deactivation process, and I have the serial number, but I cannot find a location to download it for the computer I need to move it onto. All current download pages/links seem to be going to version 11, but I just need to keep my version 9. Is there a downloadable version of Premier Elements 9 still out there? Thanks

if you follow all 7 steps, you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-9-premiere-elements-9-direct-download-links.h tml
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps.

Sadly, it looks like that site has expired and the download is no longer there.
The link works fine. I just tried it and it's the link given to everyone who posts here asking for a link to Elements 10.
You must follow the Very Important Instructions (steps 0 to 6) on that page first otherwise the download links will not work.
Once you've followed the instructions then click the download link.

  • Premiere Elements 8 - Still pictures in PE are blurred compared to original

My system is Intel Q6600 CPU, Windows 7 64bit, 6GB memory, 1TB C: drive, 2TB E:drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 video card, Premiere Elements 8, using Microsoft Office Picture manager to look at still originals.
The Premiere Elements 8 project settings include editing mode = DVNTSC and Frame size = 720H x 480V.
My issue is the still picture in PE is blurry compared to the picture viewed in MS Picture Manager.  The pictures are either scanned or downloaded from web pages.  Here is a list of pictures with their file size and pixels count:
Scaned Pics not as good in PE as original
    Cecil about 1921 - 1.5KB - 954x1440 pixels
    Stephson & Nancy Shirey - 147KB - 480x720 pixels
    Cecil about 1927 - 678KB - 768x870 pixels
    Cecil about 1928 - 736KB - 696x948 pixels
    Cecil 193X - 1MB - 1044x1608 pixels
    Ceceil HS basketball team - 2.4MB - 2070x1416 pixels
    Cecil 1941 at gas station - 250KB - 924x1482 pixels
    Cecil Marian 1942 gas station - 336KB - 1092x1746
    pixels
Web Pics not as good in PE as download
    Cotton_field 1928 - 372KB - 1600x960 pixels
    Cotton plant 17KB - minor degrade - 350x304 pixels
    Turner School 1919 - 22KB - 450x275 pixels
    Douglas Aircraft Front - 299KB - 720x587 pixels
I burned a trial DVD to see if the picture quality would be better after processing onto DVD but it was not.
What can I do to improve PE picture quality?

Use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to scale the pictures before you import into PreElements
    Photo Scaling for Video http://forums.adobe.com/thread/450798
Also, do be aware that photo dpi (dots per inch) does NOT translate to video... I don't have the exact number handy, but I think a DVD resolution video is "about" 72 dpi (BluRay is higher, but since I don't do BluRay I have not even a guess at picture resolution)

  • CS6 trial downloads still available?

Can I still download/install a trial version of say Photoshop CS6 without joining creative cloud? If so does anyone have a link and know if they will install without joining CC.  My goal is to evaluate each program for 30 days each, I was under the impression that if I join free cloud membership I can get 30day trials of all CC programs and try them out separately as time permits, but apparently with cloud that means more like only a 30 day evaluation period of all apps simultaneously, according to 3 different chat adobe reps.  Anybody know if the trials for CS 6 are any different and still available.  Or if the rep is mistaken (from your experience with free membership cloud free trials) in regards to having 30 days to evaluate all programs at once?   I am afraid to install/test one software in CC as that will mean I will have to get started on evaluating all softwares at once.

    Hi Steve,
Great idea—Thanks for helping fill in the blanks for anyone looking for the same information And once again, infinite thank yous for answering so many questions thoroughly and accurately.
    Best Wishes,

    Hi Ailedg,
In case others find this thread seeking the same information, I'm adding details I already covered in other posts.
The CS6 Trials (same as regular full intaller) can be found here:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-download s.html
The installer will give the option to run as a Trial license or a purchased license.
As far as CC membership, registering, even for the Free plan, will have no bearing on the 30 day evaluation period for any of the individual applications. Each application will start the 30 day period after the first launch and explicit action of click ing a button to start Trial.
    regards,

  • Adobe Photoshop Elements & Adobe Premiere Elements download

I purchased these together online a few days ago.  I was asked for a serial number after downloading Adobe Photoshop Elements, and after the download an icon appeared on my desktop.  I proceeded to download Adobe Premiere Elements and after it was completed (I thought) I was never asked for a serial number nor did an icon appear on my desktop.  Is Adobe Premiere Elements automatically incorporated into Adobe Photoshop Elements when it is downloaded which could be the reason I don't have a Adobe Premiere Elements icon on my desktop?  AND, how can I tell if I now have Adobe Premiere Elements???

    Texas Hill Country Gal
Although you have not stated it, I will assume that Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit are involved here.
What computer are you downloading Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 to?
    Photoshop Elements 12
Do you now have Photoshop Elements 12 installed on your computer to the extent that you can open the Photoshop Elements 12 Full Editor and the Elements Organizer 12 that comes with it? If you go to Control Panel Programs, is Photoshop Elements 12 included there on the list of installed programs?
    Premiere Elements 12
If you go to Control Panel Programs, is Premiere Elements 12 included there on the list of installed programs?
Let me back up, after the download of Premiere Elements 12, did you run the setup.exe to install it. Did you ever get a message that Premiere Elements 12 was successful installed?
    General Comments
Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 are standalone products. Both come with an Elements Organizer 12. And, when they are installed on the same computer, they share the same Elements Organizer catalog. And, they do have some integration perks when both are on the same computer. But, they are standalone products.
At this time do you have installation files on your computer, one set for Photoshop Elements 12 and one set for Premiere Elements 12?
Please review and then we can decide what next based on your answers.
    Thank you.

  • Premiere Elements Download Keeps Stalling

    Hi,
I've been trying to download a trial of Premiere Elements 12. I've tried three times and the same thing happens: the progress bar shows that it's 99 percent done and then the download stalls. When I go to the downloaded folder, it contains a folder for Premiere, but within that is the disk image for Photoshop Elements which mounts and runs fine.
I need Premiere Elements, so what can I do. I'm on a macbook running OS10.9 (Mavericks).
    Thanks!

    RFSLeander
Glad for your success in obtaining a Premiere Elements 12 tryout.
I am guessing, but I think I may know the cause of you downloading Photoshop Elements 12 tryout when you wanted Premiere Elements 12 tryout.
Can we assume that you went to the following link for what you wanted, that is, the Premiere Elements 12 tryout download?
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=premiere_elements&loc=us
I have not done this in a while, but it is my recollection that once you get by the Adobe Download Manager, you are faced with the actual page for the download. But, you have to make sure that you have the correct program selected at the bottom of the page. I think it was a scroll to the left or right situation. I have found that the download selection it not always initially set for Premiere Elements even though that was your selection to start this whole process.

  • Number of Premiere Elements downloads allowed

If I purchase a download of Adobe Premiere Elements 13, can I download it to both my desktop and my laptop?

Roxdill yes you can install the software on up to two computers.  For more information on how to activate Premiere Elements 13 please see Activation & Deactivation Help.

  • Is Photoshop/Premier Elements 12 still available for purchase from Adobe?

As Photoshop/Premier Elements 13 does not run on Vista, is version 12 still available for purchase? I need to upgrade from version 7 for RAW file support as can not upgrade raw on V7

No, not directly from adobe. They stop selling the previous version when a new one comes out, but if you look around you may still find it elsewhere.

  • Download still available?

As I understand, the conversion tool is only available as a plugin for GoLive, not for DreamWeaver, nor standalone.
So if I encounter a Website with the source data present, I need a working GoLive installation to convert it.
Is GoLive still available somewhere (other than from suspicious download sites),
so I can use the test installation for the migration progress?
    Thanks,
    Michael Kauffmann

The 30-day trial is still there for CS2.
    ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/golive/
(although I never messed with the conversion tool so I don't know if it was for GL9 only)

  • I've sent my student ID but Premiere Elements 8 still isnt working

    Hey,
Im in Australia and i bought Premiere Elements 8 (the education version). I read through the instructions of how to register which didnt help, then found out that i had to send a copy of my Student ID to use it. So i did that but i dont know if i did it wrong or if my student ID doesnt register with Adobe? I've registered it and sent the ID but no reply after a couple of weeks.

I've bought several Adobe products at Educational Pricing.
You can purchase them through a 3rd party (such as academicsuperstore.com) or directly from Adobe. Whoever you purchase from is responsible for confirming your eligibility.
In any event, I'm fairly sure there is not a separate "educational version" of the software. Once your educational eligibility is confirmed, you are sent the same commercial product as everybody else. IOW, there's no "educational version" of their software, only "educational pricing".
I've never heard of buying the educational product, then having to send your ID in. It should work the other way around. Neither Adobe nor an authorized  reseller will send you the software without first verifying your eligibility.
Unless things work differently Down Under....?

  • Acrobat Pro 8 trial download still available?

I need to find a trial download of Acrobat 8 to try out with a workflow product (FullSWITCH) that does not yet support Acrobat 9, which appears to be the only download available. Is 8 still around somewhere, or is my only option to purchase it?

    > Is 8 still around somewhere, or is my only option to purchase it?
They remove the older trial from the site when the trial for the newer version is finished.
You also can't buy the older version from Adobe.

  • Oracle 8i Lite download - still available???

I don't seem to be able to locate the Oracle 8i Lite download site on oracle.com or on otn.oracle.com. Where, oh, where did Oracle move it to? It's so well hidden, I hope they still support it, since 9i Lite has been out for quite a while.
Does anyone have a URL where I can find the 8i Lite download? I need it to install on a Windows 2000Pro OS. The only downloads (under Archived Products) I can find are for Oracle 8i Servers and Oracle 8i Personal Edition.
    Please help!!!

    No more 8i Lite download.
Also note that 8i Lite is not certified against windows 2000 . But still working ok with windows 2000. 9i Lite is the only version of Lite which is certified against windows 2000
