Premiere Elements Opens and immediately shuts down - How to fix?

I purchased Premiere Elements 8.0 today and the program would crush down immediately after opening.
I did all of the following:
- Uninstall and reinstall the program (3 times) and rebutted the computer every time the new installation took place
- Installed the newest version of QuickTime
- Checked that my home computer is more than compatible with the Premiere Elements system requirements
- uninstalled all previous versions of the software
What else should I be checking?

In the past two weeks my iChat has stopped working. I will try to open it and I will sign on for a second or two and the program will shut down immediately afterwards. I recently purchased an iSight, but that worked for 2-3 weeks before iChat stopped working. I have not downloaded anything or changed anything to affect this problem. I have also tried reading previous posts to see if anything can help. I tried restarting my computer on safe mode and restarting it back up but iChat still does not work. If someone could please help me that would be very helpful. I am using Tiger and I have the newest version of iChat and I have run all the software updates that my computer can find on the Internet. I have a mac OS X and when I close it and reopen my screen opens and then shuts down for an instant and then reopens. Does anyone have this occur?? I have shutdown and restarted often.

A Safe Mode boot might help ..
Startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
See if the problem persists.

When I open Firefox, I'm prompted to create a profile, but every time I click the create profile button, the window opens and immediately shuts.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla several times. I've read online about looking for a profile.ini file, that file does not exist on my computer. Everytime I open firefox, the choose user profile box appears, and when I click create profile, a window opens and immediately closes.

If even the Mozilla folder isn't there then it is possible that Firefox already crashes before being able to create that folder structure.
Try to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Mac Pro starts up and then shuts down, how do I fix this?

Recently when I start up my Mac Pro it start its process and then I see the Apple Logo and then the screen goes black and the monitor says I think something like no digital signal. I have to start up my Mac Pro a number of times before it finally stays open. Because I use to see a bright flash when the Mac Pro would start up or shut down, I thought that may be the problem had to do with my monitor but I'm not sure. I tried disk utilities and Tech Tools Pro 6 but nothing so far has helped the problem. I don't think its my harddrive since all test say its OK. Then I remembered some says something that computers have an internal battery and that they need to be replaced from time to time. I don't know if my Mac Pro has a battery but does anyone know if this would cause my problem?

There is a pram battery but I don't think that's the cause of your problem.
Have you blown all the accumulated dust out of your machine?
Try reseating the video card, maybe the ram too.
Run Apple Hardware Test (boot from your second installer DVD, push D down immediatly after the boot chime).

Acrobat Pro XI won't even open, immediately shuts down

My trial period finished, and I just bought the license, but it won't work.

Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work, look in the app's page in itunes. It's entirely possible Facebook has put out a 'bad update' that is crashing. Look in the reviews to see if others have your problem.
There are other ways to use Facebook without the app. You can use safari to access either the regular facebook site or m.facebook.com . or you can look for third party apps. I have one called Facely but there are others.

Double tap your home button to bring up the most recently used apps (task bar). With your finger hold it on any of the those apps until they all start to jiggle. Each app will now show a in the upper left corner. Touch the minus on the Mail App to fully close it. Touch your home button once again to stop the apps from Jiggling, then again to get back to your home screen.
I would then Reboot your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.
Try the mail app and see if you can navigate again.
If neither option helps, it sometimes helps to delete the mailbox, then reinstall it.

The systems no longer seem to be compatible. All was well until about three weeks ago. I've pressed the Safari Reset button several times to try that, to no avail.
