Premiere not exporting with correct settings.

So I make videos for youtube and up untill yesturday I used the youtube 720p preset changed to 30fps to match my footage and everything else left standard. Normally videos around 17minutes come out at 700-800mb
However for some reason when i export with these same settings, estimated video still in the 700-800 range. What adobe is actually exporting is a 57mb file, I did this multiple times and recieved the same result and even upped the bit rate from 5mbs to 17.5mbs  which changed the estimated size to 2.3gb and once exported i received yet another 57mb file.
the final video is extremely low quality similar to that of the original camera phones, my original footage is hd.
The only way around it i found was to use the check box export with sequence settings.

Hopefully this works below are 2 screen shots to get the full video settings shown.

  • Videos in iPhoto used to export with correct date, no they don't.

    Hello, I use iPhoto a lot. About every 6 months I rename and export my photos and videos to a separate portable hard drive for safe storage.
    I am doing that right now, but have noticed that my videos do not export with the correct date (changes the date to the export date), and therefore the videos are not going to be in the right order, and will not have the correct date on my backup files. The pictures export properly with correct date. Just the videos are the problem.
    This problem did not exist before. What has changed? Is there a way to export my videos and retain the correct date again?
    Thank you!

    Thank you for the quick reply Terence!
    Is this something new for Maverick, or new iPhoto update? I have always been able to export video with the correct date. Even when I imported it back into iPhoto later, the correct date was there. I think I updated to Maverick after my last renaming and exporting session.
    I have found that if I drag the video from iPhoto to my desktop, it keeps the correct date on the file and the video is intact. So there must be some sort of "metadata" in the file that has the correct date?? You probably have the knowledge to experiment with this??
    Just seems weird, because for years it was just fine. Now it is not.
    How did the videos used to keep the correct date?
    Thank you.

  • Png files not exporting in correct color code

    Hey everyone I've had this continual problem in illustrator with png exports, for some reason my png's export with duller, less saturated colors than what I am seeing inside of illustrator. However, my jpegs export correctly. I've been able to figure out that my png's are not exporting with the correct color code (sRGB), even if this option is selected in "save for web" options. I have been having to open the png's in Mac's preview program or opening them into photoshop and exporting with sRGB profile embedded from there. I figure there must be some setting I don't have selected within illustrator. Document color mode is RGB, working space is sRGB, "Color Management Policy" is preserve embeded profile, and under the "Assign Profile" option it is set to working space RGB: sRGB. Any suggestions?

    I don't think there is anything wrong with the color management you are using.
    I suspect that you are using Illustrator CS6.
    Although you can specify that the image has to be converted to sRGB (and it probably does), the profile is not embedded in the file.
    The latest CC version does, although you cannot check a box: ICC Profile like you can when saving JPEG.
    I think the reasoning behind this could have been: "PNG is a web file format. and Browsers cannot be trusted with colormanagement, most of them think that all files are sRGB, so why embed the profile..."
    So you did the right thing by assigning the profile in Photoshop.

  • Muse is not exporting the correct fonts.

    I was just about to update my website when I did a browser preview and noticed that two sections are not exporting the correct fonts. The font is not only wrong, but the size is dramatically increased - so much so that it is breaking the design (things that should be one line are now two) so much that I can not update the website until this issue is fixed. The one thing I know is related is that the error is only happening in three boxes that I recently worked with and did change the fonts (all of them typefi fonts) in design mode to look at the differences, but in the end I did not keep any of the changes. I checked and it's the same problem in both Firefox and Chrome. But, it is showing the correct fonts in Muse's preview window. Does anyone have an idea what's going on?

    You are not the only one having this problem i have a problem now with my system fonts only showing some of the families in that font
    atm i can't find my helvetica font in muse but i can see it fine in photoshop, indesign, and illustrator.
    its kinda pissing me off cause there is so many bugs atm with muse and fonts. and all we get each time is small ways to get it to work. then a new update comes up for muse and ruins it all again…
    they really need to fix this.

  • Audio not exporting with video

    Hello-
    I am having trouble exporting a H.264 video using the YouTube HD 24 preset, which I have done dozens of times previously. The footage was captured on a DSLR with external sound and synced via plural eyes.
    The problem is that the audio, which I can hear in the time line, is not exporting with the video. So far I have tried deleting all project and associated files and starting from scratch but to no avail. Does anyone know why this is happening or what I need to do to troubleshoot/fix?
    Many thanks...

    Thanks for the reply. I was checking them by playing the export on my iMac. I just imported the video back into PP and there is no audio when played in the system either.

  • CS3 Premiere Pro - export to Encore settings closes PP

    OS = XP, SP2
    Adobe CS3 Master Collection
    Capture = Matrox RT.X2 LE (MxTools ver. 3.6.0.145)
    Video = Matrox QID LP PCIe
    Hi,
    This a new install of CS3, first project.
    When exporting a full sequence to Encore from Premiere, selecting the "Settings" button causes Premiere Pro to close with no error messages.
    If I accept the default settings, the export continues as normal and creates the files.
    Single Layer chosen
    Encoding Settings - Preset: NTSC Medium Quality
    Defaults come up as;
    NTSC, 720x480, 29.97 non-drop frame [fps]. Lower, Quality
    3.0
    48kHZ, 16 bit, Stereo, PCM
    VBR, 1Pass, Min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 [Mbps]
    It's a very simple program in SD, 4:3 aspect, 93.5 minutes in length with a few still frames (jpg or bmp at 720x480) inserted.  No audio or video effects processing.  I'd like to tweek the settings or adjust the edited program if necessary for best/better quality.
    Is this a known issue, am I missing something simple?  I can't seem to find any theads (or Kb) pertaining to this.
    Any ideas or solutions greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I do not recall a lot of issues in CS3, that were specific to Matrox, but CS4 and its updates pointed up tons of issues with Matrox drivers. Matrox had play "catch up" with every iteration of the CS4 updates. However, there almost always seem to be some issue with Matrox and Adobe, so that would be a likely "candidate," as Harm points out. It might not be the correct one, but would be worth a look with a test on a totally non-Matrox Project.
    It seems that when everything (and I do mean everything) is set up perfectly at all levels, the Matrox cards work well for many, even with PrPro, but there are just so many, who have little problems in the setup (drivers, etc.) and things go south in a big hurry.
    Please report your findings, as they will likely help others.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Wrong sequence settings used on my timeline; can I copy the timeline to a new sequence with correct settings?

    The clip properties are Frame size 1440x1080, 23.98 fps (yes a problem for FCE), Compressor:  Apple Intermediate Codec, but unfortunately I did all of my hard work on a 30 minute film on a sequence that has SD settings (Frame size 720x480), 29.97 fps, compressor: DV/DVCPRO- NTSC. I first noticed there was a problem when I could only get the exported quicktime movie to appear as a 4:3 when it was supposed to be a 16:9.  I have overcome that problem by exporting using quicktime conversion and customizing the settings to reflect the correct item properties of the original clips.
    But my concern is that my project is still fundamentally based on a timeline that was created in a sequence with SD settings and that maybe I have lost some resolution quality.  I am sitting here looking at the iDVD preview and I am not always sure it looks as sharp as the same clip viewed in FCE dropped in a sequence with the right settings.  But maybe iDVD preview isn't as sharp, or maybe it's just myimagination.  Any thoughts?
    Ideally, what I would liketo do is to copy my timeline out of the first sequence with the wrong settings,and to copy it into a new sequence with the proper settings.  But I am wondering if that timeline is now "infected" with the wrong settings,and brings these over to the new sequence.  The guy on the Apple help linetold me this was unfortunately the case.  Am I really going to have tocompletely do this work over again to get a completely correct workflow?
    Any way around this?

    Al,
    very much appreciate your time on this.  Hopefully just one more question.  I am trying to figure out whether or not converting the tremendous amount of footage I have from this project shot in 24p will be worth it.  In my mind, it is only worth it, if by not doing it, I will end up with a finished product that does not have as good of a picture quality.  At this point, I dont care at all about having the 'film look' 24p is supposed to give you, I just dont the picture quality degraded somehow because FCE doesnt support 24p, and I am using a 29.97fps sequence to edit it.
    So with all of that said, my question is this:
    1.  When you said before that when a clip hits a sequence it conforms to the properties of the sequence, what do you think is happening to the clip?  For instance, if the clip in the Browser as you shot it has got 1440 pixels for every 1080 lines and you place it on a 720x480 sequence, is some of that information literally disappearing?  That seems hard to believe.  I would think that kind of conversion would require a program to execute it and some processing time, but the drag and drop on a sequence is instantaneous.  And my HD footage on the SD sequence still seems to look better to me than my SD stuff, although that could just be perception.  Same issue with the frame rate.  When I drag and drop a 24fps clip onto a sequence set for 29.97 fps, how can the clip now have more frames per second?  That would be additonal information that was never captured in the first place.  How is that possible?  I do believe that the clips are changed in some way that affects the output, but it doesnt seem possible that 'conforming' to the properties of the sequence is the same thing as if you shot the original footage with those sequence settings. Something else must be meant by that right?
    2.  Will converting the original clips in streamclip change the frame rate..them from 24p to 29.97?  If they are still 24p, then don't you still run into the same problem when you edit in FCE?  And if they are changed to 29.97, how is that better than just dropping them onto a sequence set to HDV 1080 29.97fps and having it conform to that?  What exactly is the upshot of doing the streamclip conversion?  Especially if I don't care about the 24p look now.

  • PDF export with security settings

    Using JavaScript to export PDFs.  Export works fine.  Security in the PDF is not working.
    ID CS5.5
    This is the snippet of code I'm using to apply settings to the PDF:
    with(app.pdfExportPreferences){
    cropMarks = false;
    registrationMarks = false;
    acrobatCompatibility = AcrobatCompatibility.acrobat5;
    colorBitmapCompression = BitmapCompression.autoCompression;
    colorBitmapQuality = CompressionQuality.low;
    colorBitmapSampling = Sampling.bicubicDownsample;
    colorBitmapSamplingDPI = 100;
    compressionType = PDFCompressionType.compressObjects;
    compressTextAndLineArt = true;
    cropImagesToFrames = true;
    grayscaleBitmapCompression = BitmapCompression.autoCompression;
    grayscaleBitmapquality = CompressionQuality.low;
    grayscaleBitmapSampling = Sampling.bicubicDownsample;
    grayscaleBitmapSamplingDPI = 100;
    monochromeBitmapCompression = MonoBitmapCompression.ccit4;
    monochromeBitmapSampling = Sampling.bicubicDownsample;
    monchromeBitmapSamplingDPI = 300;
    optimizePDF = true;
    subsetFontsBelow = 100;
    useSecurity = true;
    viewPDF=true;
    disallowPrinting=false;
    disallowCopying=true;
    disallowChanging=true;
    openDocumentPassword = "password"
    changeSecurityPassword = "password"
    Most (if not all) of these settings are working with the exception of the security settings.
    disallowPrinting=false;
    disallowCopying=true;
    disallowChanging=true;
    openDocumentPassword = "dj2575!!"
    changeSecurityPassword = "dj2575!!"
    Am I missing something in the code?
    Thank you for any input.

    @Mike – yes.
    Your with() statement seems to obscure some problems, i think.
    I'd do the following:
    //1. Set useSecurity to false (default)
    app.pdfExportPreferences.useSecurity = false;
    //Get a list of property/value pairs to see what's enabled or what's not possible in the current state of the app:
    var myObject = app.pdfExportPreferences;
    for(x in myObject){
        try{
        $.writeln(x +"\t"+myObject[x]);
        }catch(e){$.writeln(x+"\t"+e.message);};
    Then enable useSecurity and run the for x in pdfExportPreferences again:
    app.pdfExportPreferences.useSecurity = true;
    var myObject = app.pdfExportPreferences;
    for(x in myObject){
        try{
        $.writeln(x +"\t"+myObject[x]);
        }catch(e){$.writeln(x+"\t"+e.message);};
    That should clear the view…

  • Can't export with same settings.

    I followed the procedure of starting a project, and not choosing any initial settings.  According to a tutorial I could import a clip and drag it to the new sequence icon and then be sure that it was imported exactly with the right settings.  So then I trimmed the ends and tried to export, checking the  "match sequence settings" box.  By doing so, other parameters are grayed out.  So doing so, and trying to proceed I get "error compling movie.  Unknown error.
    So then I tried a difference sequence with the same procedure as a test, and not trimming or anything with the same results.
    these clips are from a Nikon D300s camera:
    1280x720, 24 fps, progressivew, Quality 50.
    The output and source show the same settings but it doesn't work. Why not?

    As I looked at the list of possible reasons, the 2nd one jumped out at me as I was exporting to the same name.  Unfortunatley that wasn't the problem.  Checking the other ones:
    Disk has plenty of space.and none of the other things are problems as I can export things without matching settings.
    As in the test, there was no other clip or modifications that is not the problem.  I tried several other clips from the D300s and the results are always the same.  There is no ability of the program to match the sequence settings.  Checking this box is why it won't work.
    The last suggestion is to post the problem to the user forum so here it is in a perhaps endless loop with no solution other than PP just can't do it.

  • Audio not exporting with photos from iPhoto to QuickTime

    I have QuickTime 6.5.3 and have been making slide shows of my photos with a music background. I had no previous difficulty exporting both the photos and audio as long as the background song was taken from my own CD (not downloaded from iTunes).
    That is no longer happening. When I export the photo album to QuickTime, the audio will not export. It starts to play a second of the song, then the sound disappears. What am I doing wrong?

    You might be correct, Terrence.
    I have only had this new Mac for a week and I simply followed my usual procedure. I'm now wondering if I should just let Lightroom import the RAW files from my camera, do all of the editing and discarding over there, and so forth.
    It's funny, after I posted that I looked at my own question to the forum and realised that I was creating a redundancy that was unnecessary.
    My previous MAC was manufactured in 2009, so my iPhoto in there was the 2009 version.
    Ah well -- guess I got my answer in a sort of self-administered smack on the hand manner!
    Thanks.

  • Audio Does not export with ideo in quicktime conversion

    I know i did something with a keyboard shortcut during the editing process, but i cant figure out what i did and how to change it back. What my issue is that when i try to export it to any format in quicktime (in quicktime conversion) the video is ok, but my audio does not export at all.
    I dont know what went wrong but i should note i pressed something on my timeline that i didnt realize what it did. Its hard to explain what it looks like, when you press on different clips all the clips on my time line quickly turn a more silver/light color and then change back to the normal color(not effecting the video quality just the thumbnails). But it is has a weird color
    is there a way i can reset all settings without adjusting my video clips?
    Sound settings
    Format: Lubear OCM
    Channels: Stereo (L R)
    Rate: 48.0000 hHz
    Render Settings:
    Quality: Normal
    Linear PCM Settings:
    Sample Size: 16 bits
    Checked: Little Endian

    Hi(Bonjour)!
    Does the audio play when you run sequence?
    Did you toggle off the monitor icon at the left side of timeline for audio track?
    When export to quicktime conversion, select quicktime movie and click OPTION.
    From this point, you should see a checkbox for SOUND. Be sure to check it ON.

    Hi Siva,
    J1IG is to create depot excise invoice.
    you can update J-1IRG23D table in two ways-
    MIGO > Create Rg23D
    OR MIGO > No excise entry and then create RG23D entry via J1IG.
    For more information on the same please gothrough  -

    Hi,
    Go to T Code - J2I5 (not 215 it is j 2 i 5) enter details and select register PLA Check box and execute. This can be extracted many times - no problem.
    After J2i5 balance will update in registers including tables.
