Premiere Pro(blem) keeps freezing and won't load video!

Question

Once I turn on Premiere and pick my project, it works good.
But when I try to playback the timeline, it shows a message, something like
"Media offline" or "Video offline".
But it shouldn't show it since I haven't deleted the videos,
and I didn't move them.
I used Sony Handycam DCR-DVD110E, I imported the
video into the computer and converted it (into .wmv) using Picture Motion Browser.
So every time I try to do something, I have to select "Replace Footage".
And sometimes it works, sometimes it tells me that the video is "unsupported format or damaged"!
Also, Premiere often freezes. And i need to finish the video soon.
What should I do?
