Premiere Pro bug event

I finally completed editing a project on CS3 this afternoon. I decide to play it one more time before exporting it and I get this:
Premiere Pro Bug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error
[..\..\scr\audio\monitormixer.cpp_153]
Everytime I've tried anything, I continue to get this error message and nothing I do stops it from popping back up.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a solution?

  • Premiere Pro Debug Event - Premiere Pro has enconuntered an error.[..\..\src\TickTime.cpp-290]

    Cosa faccio? Grazie

How to repair projects that get a "TickTime.cpp-290" error after opening a specific project.

  • Premiere Pro Debug Event trackitemgroup

In Premiere Pro 5.5, I get a Premiere Pro Debug Event ending in "trackitemgroup.h-2" that crashes the program every time the project is opened.  Premiere will open other projects/create new projects, and importing the sequence and media into a new folder will bring up the same error, but won't always cause a crash.
    Thank you for any help

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I basically did what you suggested, and didn't explain very clearly; created a new project file, imported the assets into that project, and then imported the original sequence. When I opened the original sequence (in the new project), all of the video showed up correctly, but I got the same error; the difference was, this time it didn't completely crash Premiere. I could just click OK and continue with the project (had to repeat that process a couple of times, but the project stayed open).
More details: this was a day-turn local news package, video shot on a Sony NX5U, reporter voice track recorded as a .wav file. This is the same workflow we've used for 6 months, and I've never run into this issue. Like I said, new projects with the same workflow are fine. I guess I could try playing each file in the timeline one at a time and see if one of them is having issues, but in the course of trying a few, they seem to be fine.

  • Getting Premiere Pro Debug Event message when trying to open project

I cannot open my project any more.
Last thing I did was saving, then exporting when Premiere pro CC crashed. Now I cannot open the file and also not all Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save files.
I used an AVI file exported from another Premiere project, 2 iPhone videos and an MP4 video from another mobile phone plus a WAV file for sound (home made music video).
Does anybody have an idea what I can do?
I deleted the files in C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro when Premiere didn't start.
The Debug Event appears everytime I start the project and when I start Premiere and open the project afterwards.

This is caused by an update to iCloud. More info here: Crash with keyframe.h-146 error when you open a saved project

  • Premiere Pro Debug Event Error

When loading Adobe Premiere CS4 I get an error message.
"Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\ImporterProcessClient.cpp-127]"
I have windows 7 Proffesional 64bit operating system. And the CS4 student edition.

Thank you sir. Seeing that two Adobe experts suggested the same thing, I went ahead and sliced and diced, narrowing the sequence down to a single problematic .MOV file. I went to the original project, and replaced the file with the same video file and it worked! So the issue was a corrupt file link from it's folder to the Premiere project.
    The problem is now solved!

  • Premiere Pro Debug event

    Anyone seen this one?
    ...\..\Src\AudioRender\AudioPrefetch.cpp-84
Plays just fine, encodes just fine, but damned if you wanna touch that file -- instant crash.
everything else is working good, until oooh! we're in that sequence, touch the audio and DOOOOH! Crash!
This is a clean install of CS-3, right after a clean install of the O/S (WinXP) with nothing else involved.
opened a project I'd been working on, all the other 54 scenes appear to be playing friendly, and the audio files in question are part of clips used throughout the project (Repeatedly) it's just in this one instance they are going nutzoid.
    Ideas?

I just ran into this problem, trying to figure ways around it.

  • Premiere Pro Error: Time.cpp-209

    Hello,
I need some help for Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.
Yesterday I installed the trial Version.
If I import a video file there comes the following error message:
    Premiere Pro Debug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\Time.cpp-209]
Do you now where is the Problem?
    What can I do?
    Regards,
    MedInv

    Hey all,
I'd like to dust this off as I'm hitting the same issues, I wonder if any progress has been made so far?
I can reproduce the bug from several different audio sources, including extracting audio tracks from video.  But we'll concentrate on the simplest form now to help debug.  I'm importing a wav file, either windows generated or VLC (ffmpeg) extracted, it is PCM, stereo, 16 bit and 48kHz sample rate.  I can import it into any project new or old & I've tried clobbering the "My Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro" directory.
Possibly related, but if I try and import an mp3 version of this track I get an "Error compiling movie.  Unknown error." message, after which the file does appear in the project but won't output any sound.
It seems in fact that the only way I'm able to get Premiere to output sound is by creating a "Bars & Tone" object, I've tried a host of other audio formats which all either crash or error.  Sort of suggests to me that it's not so much related to the content, but as the Bars & Tone track plays I'm not sure what to do.
    Thanks,
    James

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 crasing from ripple delete and copy

I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 for several months now and it's been working with next to no problems and I've been very happy with it until today.
As I've neared the end of a recent project, after doing nothing different than usual I went to use ripple delete and every time I try it I now get this error message:
    Premiere Pro Debug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\Sequence\Action\ClipTrackRippleAction.cpp-56]
    Then:
Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project.

Then if I try to copy clips or move multiple clips this error message shows up:

    Then:

I am, however, still able to move single clips, adjust the length of individual clips and able to watch my project.
I've tried two different computers and restarted one and nothing has changed.
Is there an explanation as to why this is happening? Is there anything I can do to get around this or make it stop?

    Lord Nelson here.
I've reverted back to 5.5.0 as I was experiencing lock-up problems with the BM Intensity Pro.
Unfortunately I haven't found a way of simply uninstalling the update and reverting back to an earlier version.  Win 7 Sytem Restore wouldn't, so I had to uninstall Premiere Pro, apply the Adobe Clean Install utility (or whatever!) and then reinstall PP CS5.5.  Trouble was that it reinstalled the whole suite, not just PP - so I lost all custom workspaces across the suite.
    Grrrrr!

  • Premiere Pro CC2014 Crashes, won't update (U44M1P7), cleaner doesn't help, says projects are from newer version

    Hi,
Premiere Pro CC2014 (win 8.1) has stopped working for me. I tried to update yesterday but that failed. Nevertheless, I could still work in PP.
Today when opening any project (I worked on them yesterday) I get this:
    Premiere Pro Debug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
[c:\cloudroom\releases\2014.09\shared\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\in (<-at this point the edge of the dialog box is reached)
Then I get a 'Premiere Pro has encountered a serious error'-message end it's game over.
Restarting doesn't help, this keeps on happening.
So, I tried to update again; update still fails
    Uninstalled PP CC2014
    Used Adobe Cleaner Tool
Reinstalled PP CC2014, I now get a message:
Installation succeeded, but a patch failed
    Errors encountered during installation. (U44M1P7)
Start up PP CC2014, try to open a project I worked on yesterday and get a message that it can't open this because it was created with a newer version.
So, I am screwed. I need a solution asap, as in NOW.
    I have deadlines to make.

  • Premiere Pro (CS6) - Windows 8 - [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814] error

    Hello
Im currently having some issues with Premiero Pro (via creative suite 6) on a Windows 8 64 bit machine after reinstalling due to an error resulting in the encoding sequence crashing/hanging and remaining on 0% indefinitly
Video and audio were both taken via the same machine and are both in .MP4 format. The project will render correctly however will not export
Upon selection of export with match sequence settings enabled I receive the error box saying:
    Premiere Pro Debug Event
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\...Src\Win\Winfile.cpp-814]
Upon closing the error the screen returns back to the work space. with an error box saying:Error compiling movie - unknown error. After this it again shows the infinite encoding screen.
I have tried uninstalling the programme and running any updates etc however I am unable to get it to work.
Would really appreciate an answer to this.Uninstalling and reinstalling is in itself a pain.
    Many thanks

I can't give direct help with that error, but some reading that MAY help... These notes are (mostly) for Encore, but some ideas that may help

  • Big problems exporting from Premiere Pro CS3

    Hey all.
Would be massively grateful if anyone here could help me out. I'm in the process of trying to export a 23 and a half minute project from Premiere Pro CS3. I've tried exporting to different formats, (Quicktime, MPEG2, etc..) but keep arriving at the same conclusion. The process will freeze midway through, and I'm greeted by the following error messages:
    "premiere pro debug event
premiere pro has encountered an error
    [..\..\Src\PPixHandleUtilities.cpp-114]"
    When I close that, another window pops up saying;
    "export error
application failed to return a video frame.
    cancelling the operation."
I'm not really sure where to go from here. Previously during the process of editing this project, I would occasionally get a message telling me that premiere pro was "running low on system memory". Fearing this to be the problem I was having while exporting, I attempted to export an extremely low quality version of the project, but arrived at the same conclusion. I also wondered if there was a corrupt frame or clip somewhere that was causing the issue, so I overlayed one whole transparent clip over the whole sequence and tried to export, but again, the same result.
I now have to put all my faith in you Adobe Wizards! Please ask me any questions that might help you to arrive at what may be causing the problem, I'll answer them the best I can
    Many thanks!
    Andy

    >13.4GB free
    FAR too small !!!
The program itself uses more than that for temporary working files
Also, unless you already have a 2nd hard drive or eSata external, you are below specification
Trying to use only ONE Hard Drive for Video Editing
You are a music conductor, with a baton that you use to point to various parts of the orchestra... this is like Windows pointing to various parts of the hard drive to do Windows housekeeping or to load program segments for various functions
Now, at the same time and with the same hand... while still using the baton to conduct the orchestra... pick up a bow and play a fiddle... this would be doing something with your video file at the same time as all the other work
You as a person cannot do both at the same time with the same hand
A computer is a LITTLE better, in that it can switch from one kind of task to another very quickly... but not quickly enough for EASY video editing
You need AT LEAST two hard drives (separate drives, never a partition http://forums.adobe.com/thread/650708 for more) with Windows (or Mac OS) and software on your boot drive, and video files on a 2nd drive so the boot drive is not slowed down by trying to do everything
    Partition = Crash http://forums.adobe.com/thread/957286
I find that the three drives I use work very well for me, for editing AVCHD video... some people use a 4th drive, so video INPUT files are on drive three and all OUTPUT files are on drive four... I only bought a mid-tower case instead of a full tower case (my bad... but had to fit in the space available on my office desk!) so I use the three drives that will fit
Depending on your exact hardware (motherboard brand & model AND USB2 enclosure brand & model AND external hard drive brand & model) AND the type of video file, you may... or may NOT... be able to use an external USB2 hard drive for SD (Standard Definition) video editing
Steve Grisetti in the Premiere Elements forum http://forums.adobe.com/thread/856208 and Jim Simon in the Premiere Pro forum http://forums.adobe.com/thread/856433 use USB externals for editing
A USB3 hard drive connected to a motherboard with USB3 is supposed to be fast enough for video editing (I don't have such, so don't know) but eSata DOES have a fast enough data transfer for video editing... I have not used the eSata Dock below... for reference only, YMMV and all the usual disclaimers
