Premiere Pro CC single app license question

Are Adobe Bridge CC and Adobe Encore CC programs included with Premiere Pro CC single app. license?

MikeG624 Previously Brdge CS6 was a part of several other applications like Photoshop CS6, After Effects CS6, etc. However, now its a seperate application
If you purchase a single app subscription, you will only get that application. However, you will still be able to download Bridge CC from the Cloud website as its a free app.

  • Unable to activate Premiere Pro CC single-app membership after trial period

    Hi all,
I'm having some real problems trying to activate Premiere Pro CC after my trial period expired. I purchased a 'month-to-month' subscription yesterday after I lost access to the software, but have had no luck in getting it up and running.
Another strange event running alongside this is not being able to sign in to the 'contact us' part of the Adobe.com website - hence why I am resorting to getting help in the Forum's.
Appreciate any help on this, as I need to get cracking with some work.
    Cheers,

    Thanks kglad,
I've tried signing in and out of the CC desktop app, and also tried a few other avenues to get this thing working. But sadly, and quite poorly on Adobes side, I think the latter is probably the issue - needing 2 business days to process payment. If this is the case, there should be a notification of this delay before they take a payment. I was notified after I purchased Prem Pro that it could take up to 24 hours to process the payment, but I can assure you that they have taken my money!
    Very poor...

  • Recently signed up for teams CC account to try it. Have one complete license. Would like to add a team member then assign single app license for Lightroom. I can see no way to do this. It want's me to do another complete license. Is there a way to do some

Recently signed up for teams CC account to try it. Have one complete license. Would like to add a team member then assign single app license for Lightroom. I can see no way to do this. It want's me to do another complete license. Is there a way to do something other than "complete"?

We can not club complete cc for teams & cc for single app.
A complete plan includes all Creative Cloud apps and services. A single app plan includes access to one app (Photoshop
CC, Illustrator CC, etc.) and select services, including 20 GB cloud-based storage and a customized online portfolio with
Behance ProSite, enabling you to publish your work to the world’s leading creative community. With each plan, you’ll receive
access to the same easy-to-use admin console – a web portal that lets you centrally purchase, deploy, and manage all seats
across your organization under one membership agreement.
You will have to assign a different CC for Team for single app.
    Regards
    Rajshree.

  • Now that Teams support Single App Licenses, how do I add one?

I got an email from Adobe that says you can mix and match Complete and Single App Licenses in Teams now. This is exactly what I need! However, when I log in to manage my team and add a seat, it can only add another Complete License. How do I add a Single App license to my team?
Here is the quote from the email leading me to believe that you can mix and match licenses as you see fit: "Choose the plan that’s right for your organization — complete, new single app (which gives you access to one creative tool, like Adobe® Photoshop® CC), or a mix of both."

Adobe tells me that resellers are selling this product and it is not directly available through Adobe.
The resellers tell me that they don't sell CC applications please contact Adobe directly, they have no way of adding features to a CC account only Adobe can do this.
I have spent a week now trying to get a straight answer from Adobe they keep directing me to a notice that the single Apps for teams is only available through resellers. I sent a copy to the reseller and this was news to them.
I have also been told that Acrobat is not one of the Single Apps for Teams. That I find hard to believe.
I even had an Adobe rep swear she would call the reseller but I have never heard back from her.
Hope my frustrating experience helps anyone else from going down the stupid run around road.

  • Premiere Pro CC, Dolby Digital License missing for MTS / AVCHD audio import?

    Hi,
I'm running Premiere Pro CC on Mac 10.8.4 importing MTS files captured on a new Panasonic V720 Camcorder that records MTS / AVCHD files.
When I add the files to my project or drop them onto the timeline, the video appears fine but there's no audio and I get the warning message:
"This installation does not have a license to decode Dolby Digital audio".
I've tried switching from 5.1 to 2-channel audio on the camera in case that was the issue, no change.
The file plays fine on the mac with VLC player or MPlayer - mplayer is decoding audio with the FFmpeg AC-3 codec. I've imported MTS files created with other cameras (but presumably with different audio codecs) into Premiere fine with my current setup.
Any suggestions for getting this video and audio to work correctly?
    Thanks!

Hey guys, thanks for the responses.  I have checked my audio preference settings and don't really see anything in there that looks helpful...the following are my settings:
The LG TV is actually hooked up through a 7.1 receiver...I'm not sure why it registers the home theater unit as the tv....but 5.1 does play through my PC just fine with every other program.
I've been playng around with the various export settings and have found that I can successfully export 5.1 audio using the H.264 preset and switching the channels in the audio tab to 5.1.  You cannot, however, do the same with the H.264 Blu-ray preset as it requires the above mentioned SurCode for compression.  I'm guessing that means the non-Blu-ray preset is then uncompressed?
The projects that I'm setting up are very basic.  I'm just using a single mp3 import and snapping it to one of the rear speakers.  While editing, the sound does fade from the front channels but nothing comes out of the rear channels.
I guess I'm just having a hard time understanding why PPCC can export 5.1 but not play it back while editing....
    Thanks again for the responses

  • Pro Edition & single app

I have a current Pro Edition annual license purchased before March 1, 2014 and i distribute o multi-folio app . I want to know if i still can create a single app with the same license and if this single app is free of fulfillments.

Thank you for the replay Bob. Im asking this because i read in DPS's FAQ'S this:
"Are there different buying options available with DPS?
Yes, there are two buying options available for companies looking for a robust digital publishing platform.
Professional Edition enables customers to create one multi-folio app per license. Professional Edition customers who purchase an annual or monthly license can publish an unlimited number of folios within a single app and distribute those folios based on fulfillment bundles purchased."
So for us who already have o Pro licence we can still create single apps with no extra cost.?

  • Premiere Pro CC 'single frame' export squashes aspect ratio

    Hi,
When I used the single frame export button to export a single frame from my timeline, the 16:9 ratio gets squashed in.
The image has a play button graphic on it and that should be round but it comes out oval.
When I import the image into Photoshop, it looks normal 16:9 but when I save it as a jpeg and open it up, it's still squashed.
I would be so grateful if someone could help me sort this out.
    Cardamada

Thanks Jim for your quick reply.  I am still wondeirng if there is a better way.  The footage I am editing is 1920 x 1080 DSLR footage.  Anytime I export a frame from Fnal Cut Pro it does it fine.  I moved over to Adobe recently and I'm suprised that it's not working.  I wondered whether there was a way to change my export settings so that it exports with square pixels from Premiere Pro.  Meanwhile I will try to follow your  instructions re square pixles and photoshop.

  • Premiere Pro CS3 - Preset & Media File Questions

Volunteered to create a high school football highlight video using Premiere Pro CS3 on a Mac.  The video will be shown in a banquet hall using a NEC projector attached to the ceiling.  The hall owner doesn't have any info on the projector, so I don't know its native resolution or any other specs.  The screen is standard size.
I'm being given a potpourri of media:
    1)  The team's game DVDs shot from the press box.  MPEG Streamclip shows the VOBs have these properties:  720 × 480, 4:3, 29.97 fps, 9.30 Mbps, upper field first - 128 AC3 2/0, 48 kHz, 256 kbps.  Right or wrong, I converted the VOBs to dv files for import into PP with these properties: DV/DVCPRO - NTSC, 720 × 480, 4:3, 29.97 fps, 28.77 Mbps - DV stereo, 48 kHz, 28.77 Mbps.
    2)  Field level video taken with a Canon HV30 (HD, wide screen).  The files I've been given are:  Apple Intermediate Codec, 960 × 540, 29.97 fps, 30.09 Mbps - 16-bit Big Endian stereo, 48 kHz, 1.54 Mbps.  I could ask to have these files recaptured as SD files.
    3)  Many side line photos (TIFFs) taken with a Canon 30D.
After editing the project, I was planning on exporting the final video/audio as a mov file to be played from my lap top hard drive rather than from a DVD.  Not sure about the export settings to do this for best quality.
But first, which PP preset should I use for this project, or should I use custom settings?  If so, what should they be?
Have I converted the VOBs to the proper format?
Should I recapture the HV30 footage or convert it to another format?
I have the photos in Lightroom and can export them as TIFFs, JPEGs, PSDs or DNGs and can resize them down if necessary.  Any suggestions?
Finally, I was thinking of converting the background music from mp3s to aif files at 48 kHz, 16-bit to be consistent across the different audio files.  Any suggestions with the audio?
Any thoughts or suggestions on these issues would be most appreciated.  If the answers to these questions hinge on the projector type, I may have to wing it....or buy my own projector.  Ouch.
Sorry for the length of this post.

I recommend setting up a 720x480 4:3 project.  At the very least, have
them recapture the #2 video files as widescreen SD.  (I'll refrain from
making any comments about the usefulness of AIC at half-HD)  The
recaptured widescreen SD files will end up letterboxed in your 4:3
timeline.  Your other choice would be to set up a 720x480 16:9 project,
but that would end up pillarboxing the 4:3 footage.  Your choice.
I think you did a fine job converting the VOBs.
Resize the images in Photoshop.  Get them as close to 720x480 as you
can, adjusting that upward to account for any panning and zooming that
you might want to do.  But don't increase the size any more than you
have to.  You definitely want to avoid working with huge frame-size
    images in Pr.
48k 16-bit stereo audio should work just fine.
You should find out the native resolution of the projector, and whether
or not it has an internal scaler.

  • Premiere Pro 5.5 timeline timecode  question

Does Premiere Pro 5.5 output TC on HD-SDI when using Kona 3. There have been reports by users that when recording the HD-SDI output (like to a Ki Pro Mini) that they are not seeing any Timeline Timcode coming out the spigot. Any Adobe folks or others know if this is true of false?

  • Single App Plan question

Creative Cloud single-app plan — annual if I purchase Photoshop, after my year is up do I get to keep Photoshop & still be able to use it? Thank you.

after my year is up do I get to keep Photoshop & still be able to use it? Thank you.
No. It's subscription only - it's not leasing, rent-to-own or hire purchase.
Your first 12 months is a contract commitment. You commit to paying 12 months subscription.
After 12 months, you can renew for another 12 months of subscription payments and software use.
If you do not renew your subscription contract, the software will stop working until you renew your membership (could be weeks, months or years later).

  • Premiere Pro to Audition | No Stupid Questions with Colin Smith | Adobe TV

Colin’s back showing off how fantastic his Z800 workstation performs with the new Adobe 5.5 software. In this episode he shows you how to send a complete Premiere Pro sequence to a multitrack project in the new Adobe Audition 5.5. From there he shows how you can add effects to individual clips, or complete tracks with lots of built-in effects or support for VST and AU plug-ins. Once complete, this project can be send back to Premiere Pro CS5.5 or exported to OMF or Final Cut Pro XML.

When exporting to Premiere, do the Track and Clip FX get rendered along with it, or do you have to do something special first?

  • Single User License Questions

    Hello,
Firstly, since there is no general forum for iWork as a whole (rather than its individual packages), I have posted it here.
    Anyway, back on track.
I am a British MSc student wanting to purchase iWork Single-User at the discounted education price - as MS office for Mac has no UK education discount and seems to crash an awful lot, and Open/Neo Office is, in my opinion, the worlds most counter productive and clumsy software package out there (I hate it!), I have opted for iWork. After trying the demo I really like it! Very slick.
However, I have noticed that there are two packs available for iWork. Single-User and Family Pack, and have become a little confused about how the licensing for iWork pans out.
I want to install iWork on both my 27" iMac "Ratchet" and on my 13" Alu' Notebook "Clank" (yes those are the actual computer names in System Preferences), so I can work on a document with Clank when out and about, upload it to my iDisk, then work on it again with Ratchet when I get home. I am the only user of these two machines, not even a guest account. Will the Single-User license of iWork install and run without running into problems? Or does single user mean one Mac and one Mac only? If its the latter then it looks like I'll have to make do with OpenOffice until I can afford MS Office 2008/11 and just hope it doesn't crash when I click "save" (which did happen very frequently with MSO2008)
    Thanks in advance!
    Ben

Well that just burst my bubble quite dramatically.
In the education store its £35 for the single user which is a hefty 1/2 price discount, but its still £87 for the family pack, no discount to speak of. £87 is only £12 short of Office 2008, so it looks like I'm waiting until next payday before I can afford it, or I dust off the credit card."
    Thanks for the quick answer

It seems silly having two single user disks and for a little extra I get 5 installs and one less disk.
How is me saying I'll wait until next pay day or making a personal observation considered a rant? I'm puzzled how you came to that conclusion
yes I was snippy in reply to Allan Eckert's suggestion of OpenOffice and I apologise, but a rant? Come on mate, how is any of what I said a rant?

  • Leopard: Single, Family License Questions

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I've searched and searched but never found straight up, legally honest answers to these questions.
    1. I bought a single license Leopard install dvd. Is this ultimately just ONE machine, or is it like Adobe CS3 where they allow a desktop/workstation' install & a mobile/laptop install on the one license?
    2. If I need to, can I upgrade from single license to family pack? If so please explain how, I can't seem to find any info. Thanks!!

    1. Single computer only.
    2. I don't know either, call the apple store.
