Premiere Pro CC Update Failed, CC App Install Failed

Every time I try to update Premiere Pro CC I get an error message and I am told that the update failed. I read on the forum that by uninstalling and then reinstalling the application manager the problem could be solved. Well, I uninstalled and then when I tried to reinstall I was told that that had failed as well. Does anyone know what I can do? I'm working on a mid-2010 Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8.5

I have the same problem and have tried unstalling/re-installing the application manager.  Doesn't help.  Premiere Pro update still crashes at 50% point.  I tried going online with a tech support guy from Adobe but he was no help at all.  I'm worried that we are going to miss important updates in the future.
Adobe - please help!

    Please don't take this the wrong way, but in the future, I would advise you to not update any project files until a project is complete (if at all possible). If you feel you must update, please make sure to duplicate your project file so that you have a working back up. This is something I was taught years ago and has served me well as a crucial back up step.
    You can also check your Auto Save folder or the Creative Cloud folder for a potential backup, if that preference was set correctly.

    You can't really roll back a project file, per se. You can try opening the project in XML format in older versions. That works most of the time. You can certainly roll back Premiere Pro to a previous version, however.   • Premiere Pro CC update failed

    I have been having some difficulty updating Premiere Pro CC on a windows 8.1 64x computer. I get the following error:
    Adobe Premiere Pro CC October 2013 (7.1) Update
    There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
    I have tried all the fixes as outlned here:

    I unistalled three times now and tried going through the help..update and I keep getting this error.
    All my other apps (After Effects, Audtion, Speed Grade) installed and updated with no problems.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    This is a fresh clean instal of WIndows 8.1 with all the updates to windows applied.

    Just try downloading the 7.1 update from the below Link and then sign out from creative cloud .
    Restart the computer and signin into cretaive cloud and open premier pro and check if it is updated

  • Premiere Pro CC update fails repeatedly. Why?

    I've had a notification for days in my Creative Cloud application that there's an update to Premiere Pro (7.2.2), yet every time I try to download it, the update reaches 50-58% and then fails. Why? Is there a fix?
    Same thing happens with the Dreamweaver update, too. I've tried restarting both the application and my computer and neither are helping.

    Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after mothboard replacement .It was running correctly for 4 weeks prior to replacement due to AC connection issues and Wireless connectivity.
    Adobe Case No. 183519673, Adobe Technicians (Asia/Pacific) have worked on this issue for over 3 hours with no results after uninstalling and reinstalling.

  • Premiere Pro CC Update has Apple Magic Mouse Timeline Scrolling Backwards

    I've used the Apple Magic Mouse and for thousands of hours on Premiere Pro versions CS5 and CS6 and I just updated to CC.  On the Magic Mouse, I used to press Option and then swipe right on the mouse to zoom in on the timeline and Option + swipe left to zoom out.  Now Option + swipe left zooms in and Option + swipe right zooms out.  It's backwards and it's so annoying.  I've tried searching for a setting to reverse this but no luck.  Anyone else having this issue or found a fix to get the Magic Mouse working the same was as in previous Premiere Pro versions?

    I also use Logic for my music/audio production.   In Logic, if you press Option and swipe right it zooms in, and Option + swipe left to zoom out.   Basically the Premiere Pro CC update got this backwards.

    I can't get the latest 7.2.2 Premiere Pro CC to update on the new Mac Pro computer. Is it not compatible?

    CC Manager says I am currently updated to the latest version. When I check my Premiere CC Version I am only on 7.0. I tried manually downloading 7.2.2 .dmg file and it fails.
